| 1 | The C_2H_2 -type Zinc Finger Protein ZFP182 is Involved in Abscisic Acid-Induced Antioxidant Defense in Rice显示文摘C2H2 -type zinc finger proteins (ZFPs) are thought to play important roles in modulating the responses of plants to drought, salinity and oxidative stress. However, direct evidence is lacking for the involvement of these ZFPs in abscisic acid (ABA)-induced antioxidant defense in plants. In this study, the role of the rice (Oryza sativa L. sub. japonica cv. Nipponbare) C 2 H 2 -type ZFP ZFP182 in ABA-induced antioxidant defense and the relationship between ZFP182 and two rice MAPKs, OsMPK1 and OsMPK5 in ABA signaling were investigated. ABA treatment induced the increases in the expression of ZFP182, OsMPK1 and OsMPK5, and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) in rice leaves. The transient gene expression analysis and the transient RNA interference (RNAi) analysis in protoplasts showed that ZFP182, OsMPK1 and OsMPK5 are involved in ABA-induced up-regulation in the activities of SOD and APX. Besides, OsMPK1 and OsMPK5 were shown to be required for the up-regulation in the expression of ZFP182 in ABA signaling, but ZFP182 did not mediate the ABA-induced up-regulation in the expression of OsMPK1 and OsMPK5. | 2 | Nitric Oxide Reduces Hydrogen Peroxide Accumulation Involved in Water Stress-induced Subcellular Anti-oxidant Defense in Maize Plants显示文摘Nitric oxide (NO) is a bioactive molecule involved in many biological events, and has been reported as pro-oxidant as well as anti-oxidant in plants. In the present study, the sources of NO production under water stress, the role of NO in water stress-induced hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) accumulation and subcellular activities of anti-oxidant enzymes in leaves of maize (Zea mays L.) plants were investigated. Water stress induced defense increases in the generation of NO in maize mesphyll cells and the activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in the cytosolic and microsomal fractions of maize leaves. Water stress-induced defense increases in the production of NO were blocked by pretreatments with inhibitors of NOS and nitrate reductase (NR), suggesting that NO is produced from NOS and NR in leaves of maize plants exposed to water stress. Water stress also induced increases in the activities of the chloroplastic and cytosolic anti-oxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), and glutathione reductase (GR), and the increases in the activities of anti-oxidant enzymes were reduced by pretreatments with inhibitors of NOS and NR. Exogenous NO increases the activities of water stress-induced subcellular anti-oxidant enzymes, which decreases accumulation of H2O2. Our results suggest that NOS and NR are involved in water stress-induced NO production and NOS is the major source of NO. | 10 | Comparison study on the annealing behaviors of dispersion strengthened copper alloys with different nanoparticles显示文摘The hardness measurement,optical microscopy (OM),and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) microstruc-ture observation on the annealing behaviors of Cu-Al2O3 (2.25 vol.% and 0.54 vol.% Al2O3) and Cu-0.52vol.%Nb alloys were carried out. The results show that with the increase of annealing temperature,the hardness of Cu-Al2O3 alloys de-creases slowly. No change of the fiber structure formed by cold rolling in the Cu-2.25vol.%Al2O3 alloy is observed even af-ter annealing at 900°C,and the higher dislocation density can still be observed by TEM. Less combination of fiber formed by cold rolling and subgrains are observed in the Cu-0.54vol.%Al2O3 alloy annealed at 900°C. With the increase of anneal-ing temperature,the hardness of the Cu-0.52vol.%Nb alloy exhibits a general decreasing trend,and its falling rate is higher than that of the Cu-Al2O3 alloys,indicating that its ability of resistance to softening at elevated temperature is weaker than that of the Cu-Al2O3 alloys. However,when annealed at a temperature of 300-400°C,probably owing to the precipitation strengthening of niobium,the hardness of the Cu-0.52vol.%Nb alloy arises slightly. | 20 | Study of sodium lignosulfonate prepare low-rank coal-water slurry:Experiments and simulations显示文摘The effect of sodium lignosulfonate(SL)as additive on the preparation of low-rank coal-water slurry(LCWS)was studied by experiments and molecular dynamics(MD)simulation s.The experimental results show that the appropriate amount of additives is beneficial to reduce the viscosity of LCWS and increase the slurry concentration.Adsorption isotherm studies showed that SL conforms to single-layer adsorption on the coal surface,andΔG_(ads)^(0) was negative,proving that the reaction was spontaneous.Zeta potential measurements showed that SL increased the negative charge on coal.FTIR scanning and XPS wide-range scanning were performed on the coal before and after adsorption,and it was found that the content of oxygen functional groups on coal increased after adsorption.Simulation results show that when a large number of SL molecules exist in the solution,some SL molecules will bind to hydrophobic hydrocarbon groups on coal.The rest of the SL molecule s,their hydrophobic alkyl tails,come into contact with each other and aggregate in solution.The agglomeration of SL molecules and the surface of coal with static electricity will also produce electrostatic interaction,which is conducive to the even dispersion of coal particles.The results of mean square displacement(MSD)and self-diffusion coefficient(D)show that the addition of SL reduces the diffusion rate of water molecules.Simulation results correspond to experimental results,indicating that MD simulation is accurate and feasible. | Lin Li Chuandong Ma Mengyu Lin Mingpu Liu Hao Yu QingbiaoWang Xiaoqiang Cao Xiaofang You | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1: | 1 |
