1Genome-wide identification, expression analysis of auxin-responsive GH_3 family genes in maize(Zea mays L.) under abiotic stresses显示文摘Auxin is involved in different aspects of plant growth and development by regulating the expression of auxinresponsive family genes. As one of the three major auxinresponsive families, GH3(Gretchen Hagen3) genes participate in auxin homeostasis by catalyzing auxin conjugation and bounding free indole-3-acetic acid(IAA) to amino acids.However, how GH3 genes function in responses to abiotic stresses and various hormones in maize is largely unknown.Here, the latest updated maize(Zea mays L.) reference genome sequence was used to characterize and analyze the Zm GH3 family genes from maize. The results showed that 13 Zm GH3 genes were mapped on fi ve maize chromosomes(total10 chromosomes). Highly diversi fi ed gene structures and tissue-speci fi c expression patterns suggested the possibility of function diversi fi cation for these genes in response to environmental stresses and hormone stimuli. The expression patterns of Zm GH3 genes are responsive to several abiotic stresses(salt, drought and cadmium) and major stress-relatedhormones(abscisic acid, salicylic acid and jasmonic acid)Various environmental factors suppress auxin free IAA contents in maize roots suggesting that these abiotic stresses and hormones might alter GH3-mediated auxin levels. 3Laboratory Diagnosis and Monitoring the Viral Shedding of SARS-CoV-2 Infection显示文摘The worldwide epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is ongoing.Rapid and accurate detection of the causative virus SARSCoV-2 is vital for the treatment and control of COVID-19.In this study,the comparative sensitivity of different respiratory specimen types were retrospectively analyzed using 3,552 clinical samples from 410 COVID-19 patients confirmed by Guangdong CDC(Center for Disease Control and Prevention).Except for bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),the sputum possessed the highest positive rate(73.4%–87.5%),followed by nasal swabs(53.1%–85.3%)for both severe and mild cases during the first 14 days after illness onset(d.a.o.).Viral RNA could be detected in all BALF samples collected from the severe group within 14 d.a.o.and lasted up to 46 d.a.o.Moreover,although viral RNA was negative in the upper respiratory samples,it was also positive in BALF samples in most cases from the severe group during treatment.Notably,no viral RNA was detected in BALF samples from the mild group.Despite typical ground-glass opacity observed via computed tomographic scans,no viral RNA was detected in the first three or all upper respiratory tract specimens from some COVID-19 patients.In conclusion,sputum is most sensitive for routine laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19,followed by nasal swabs.Detection of viral RNA in BALF improves diagnostic accuracy in severe COVID-19 patients.Yang Yang Minghui Yang Jing Yuan Fuxiang Wang Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Mingxia Zhang Jinli Wei Ling Peng Gary Wong Haixia Zheng Weibo Wu Chenguang Shen Mingfeng Liao Kai Feng Jianming Li Qianting Yang Juanjuan Zhao Lei Liu Yingxia Liu 2020The Innovation2020,1,3:1

5Micromachined Infrared Thermopile Detector Based on a Suspended Film Structure显示文摘The micro-electromechanical system(MEMS)infrared thermopile is the core working device of modern information detection systems such as spectrometers,gas sensors,and remote temperature sensors.We presented two different structures of MEMS infrared thermopiles based on suspended film structures.They both deposited silicon nitride over the entire surface as a passivated absorber layer in place of a separate absorber zone,and the thermocouple strip was oriented in the same direction as the temperature gradient.The same MEMS preparation process was used and finally two different structures of the thermopile were characterized separately for testing to verify the impact of our design on the detector.The test results show that the circular and double-ended symmetrical thermopile detectors have responsivities of 27.932 V/W and 23.205 V/W,specific detectivities of 12.1×10^(7) cm·Hz^(1/2)·W^(-1) and 10.1×10^(7) cm·Hz^(1/2)·W^(-1),and response time of 26.2 ms and 27.06 ms,respectively.In addition,rectangular double-ended symmetric thermopile has a larger field of view than a circular thermopile detector,but is not as mechanically stable as a circular thermopile.Cheng LEI Yihao GUAN Ting LIANG Xuezhan WU Yuehang BAI Mingfeng GONG Pingang JIA Jijun XIONG 2023Photonic Sensors2023,13,3:0
6Segregation of Re at theγ/γ'boundary of Ni-based single crystal superalloys revealed by first-principles calculations based Monte-Carlo simulations显示文摘Nickel-based single crystal superalloys have been widely used in aero-engines and gas turbine engines.To improve the creep resistance,rhenium is often added to the alloys.However,it is not yet fully under-stood how the added Re elements distribute in the alloys and how the microstructure evolves with the addition of Re.Here,we performed extensive first-principles calculations based Monte-Carlo simulated annealing of Ni-Al-Re ternary alloys with different Re concentrations ranging from 0.5 at.%to 6.0 at.%.The results demonstrate that with the decreasing temperature,most of Re atoms stay in theγphase,while a few of Re atoms stay in theγ'phase and tend to occupy the Al positions.At low temperatures,the Re atoms segregate at theγ/γ'boundary,in good agreement with experiment.We find that the disorder-order transition temperature of the Ni-Al-Re ternary alloys increases with the Re concentration due to the Re-enhanced Al-Al ordering tendency.In addition,we observe that at low temperatures the Re segregation at theγ/γ'boundary promotes the formation of Ni 4 Re-or Ni 8 Re-like local structures as the Re concentration is over 2 at.%.The formation of a large amount of these local structures consumes the Re atoms in solid solutions,and thus from the solid-solution strengthening point of view,this would have a negative influence on the creep resistance of the superalloys.This work provides important atomistic insights on the Re distribution and its effects on the stability of superalloys.Heyu Zhu Jiantao Wang Lei Wang Yongpeng Shi Mingfeng Liu Jiangxu Li Yun Chen Yingche Ma Peitao Liu Xing-Qiu Chen 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,12:0
7Study on the mechanical properties of outwash deposits with random structure method显示文摘Outwash deposit is one of the major threats to the safety and stability of railway transit engineering in the Sichuan–Tibet area.In this paper,different samples of outwash deposits were prepared based on the random structure method,and a series of large-scale direct shear tests were carried out under different normal stresses.The influence of stone content and the spatial distribution of stone blocks on the physical and mechanical properties of outwash deposits were studied.The results show that with the increase of stone content,the shear stress-displacement curve changs from strain softening to strain hardening.The shear zone is larger,and its shape is more tortuous due to the movement and rotation of stone blocks.The internal frictional angle increases linearly while the cohesion diseases with the increase of stone content.The main influence of the spatial distribution of stone blocks on the mechanical properties of outwash deposits is the peak stress.The shear zone is mainly determined by the distribution of the stone blocks near the shear zone.Chaojun Jia Qiang Zhang Mingfeng Lei Jun Yu Rubin Wang Jingyan Liu 2021Transportation Safety and Environment2021,3,3:0
