| 5 | Comparative analysis of antioxidant activities of essential oils and extracts of fennel(Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)seeds from Egypt and China显示文摘The present study was conducted to assay the antioxidant activities of essential oils and ethanol extracts of fennel(Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)seeds from Egypt and China.The major components of the Egyptian fennel essential oil were estragole(51.04%),limonene(11.45%),l-fenchone(8.19%)and trans-anethole(3.62%)by GC–MS analysis.Whereas,the major constituents of Chinese fennel essential oil were transanethole(54.26%),estragole(20.25%),l-fenchone(7.36%)and limonene(2.41%).The fennel seed extracts from Egypt and China contained appreciable levels of total phenolic contents(42.24 and 30.94 mg PE/g,respectively).The extracts exhibited good DPPH radical scavenging capacity with IC50(6.34 and 7.17 mg/g),respectively.A high variation in free radical scavenging activities of essential oils was observed.The Chinese fennel essential oil showed high activity in DPPH radical scavenging with IC50(15.66 mg/g).The Egyptian fennel essential oil showed very low activity with IC50(141.82 mg/g).The results of the present investigation demonstrated significant variations in the antioxidant activities of fennel essential oils and extracts from Egypt and China. | Adel F.Ahmed Mengjin Shi Cunyu Liu Wenyi Kang | 2019 | Food Science and Human Wellness2019,8,1: | 6 |
| 6 | Characteristics of hydrocarbon sources and controlling factors of their formation in Pingliang Formation,West Ordos Basin显示文摘According to organic geochemistry and organic petrology, the hydrocarbon sources in Pingliang Formation, W. Ordos basin, are systematically evaluated. The organic abundance of hydrocarbon source in this research is higher in the upper part of profiles than in the low, and more in mudstone than in carbonate. Most of organic matters become sapropelic, and few are humic-sapropelic in the regions of Shibangou and Zhuzisan. According to stable isotopes of carbon and oxygen in carbonate rock, boron index and ratios of elements, palaeo-salinity and sedimentary velocity are calculated. The two factors of paleao-salinity and sediment velocity, which control the distribution of organic matters, are discussed. Good relationship is found between water salinity and abundance of organic matter; in contrast, poor correlation is observed between salinity and types of organic matters. The relative sediment velocity in the research regions is also related with organic abundance and types. | 7 | From deep basin gas to diagenetic trap—An example from the Yulin Gas Field in the Ordos Basin显示文摘In the updip portion of the Yulin Gas Field in the Ordos Basin, there are no any structural, stratigraphic and sedimentary lithologic seals. Using thin-section petrography, ultraviolet fluorescence microscopy, micro-thermometry and Raman microspectrometry, this paper finds out the diagenetic trap and studies the diagenetic history of this field. It was revealed that three phases of diagenesis and hydrocarbon charging happened in late Triassic, late Jurassic and the end of early Cretaceous respectively. In the first two phases, acid geofluid entered the reservoir and caused dissolution and cementation. Although the porosities had been increased, further compaction accompanying re-subsidence resulted in tight sandstone and conglomerates. Till the end of the early Cretaceous, bulk of gas migrated into the tight reservoir. Cementation, however, kept on in the updip portion of this field due to low gas saturation and formed the diagenetic trap. | 8 | Temperature stability of symmetric activated carbon supercapacitors assembled with in situ electrodeposited poly (vinyl alcohol) potassium borate hydrogel electrolyte显示文摘The temperature stability of supercapacitor(SC) is largely determined by the properties of the electrolyte.Hydrogel electrolytes(HGE), due to their hydrophilic polymer skeleton, show different temperature stability to that of liquid aqueous electrolytes. In this study, symmetric activated carbon(AC) SCs had been assembled with in situ electrodeposited poly(vinyl alcohol) potassium borate(PVAPB) HGE. The electrochemical performance of the SCs was systematically studied at different temperatures. Results show that the conductivity of PVAPB HGE is comparable with that of liquid aqueous electrolytes at different temperatures. The operating temperature range of PVAPB HGE SCs is -5–60°C, while those of the 1 mol/L Na_2SO_4SCs and the 0.9 mol/L KClSCs are 20–80°C and 20–40°C, respectively. The specific capacitance of PVAPB HGE SC is higher than those of SCs using liquid aqueous electrolytes at any temperature. | 20 | A hybrid lithium sulfonated polyoxadiazole derived single-ion conducting gel polymer electrolyte enabled effective suppression of dendritic lithium growth显示文摘Lithium metal is deemed as an ideal anode material in lithium-ion batteries because of its ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and the lowest redox potential.However,the rapid capacity attenuation and inferior security resulting from the dendritic lithium growth severely limit its commercialization.Herein a novel hybrid gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based on electrospun lithium sulfonated polyoxadiazole (LiSPOD) nanofibrous membrane swelled by lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (Li TFSI) ether liquid electrolyte is proposed to address the issue of lithium dendrites.The Li-SPOD membrane synthesized by a simple one-pot method exhibits excellent mechanical strength and thermal resistance due to its high molecular weight and rigid backbone.The electron-withdrawing oxadiazole ring and oxadiazole ring-Li;complex,and N,O heteroatoms with lone pairs of electrons in Li-SPOD macromolecular chains facilitate the dissociation of-SO_(3)Li group and Li^(+)transference.The hybrid Li-SPOD GPE exhibits both a high lithium-ion transference number (0.64) and high ionic conductivity (2.03 m S/cm) as well as superior interfacial compacity with lithium anodes.The Li Fe PO_(4)-Li cell using this novel GPE can operate steadily at 2C for 300 cycles,remaining a high discharge capacity of 125 m Ah/g and dendrite-free anode.Remarkable performance improvements for the Li-Li and Cu-Li cells are also presented. | Dazhe Li Longbo Luo Jiadeng Zhu Haimei Qin Pengqing Liu Zhaomei Sun Yi Lei Mengjin Jiang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2: | 1 |
