1Three-dimensional in situ stress determination by anelastic strain recovery and its application at the Wenchuan Earthquake Fault Scientific Drilling Hole-1(WFSD-1)显示文摘In situ stress state becomes more and more significant with in-depth research on geodynamics and energy development.However,there has not been an economic and effective method developed to determine deep three-dimensional in situ stress.The Anelastic Strain Recovery(ASR)method is a newly developed technique that can determine three-dimensional in situ stresses.After the 12 May 2008 Ms8.0 Wenchuan earthquake,the ASR method was used for the first time in China's Mainland to measure the in situ stresses in the WFSD scientific boreholes in Sichuan Province,China.In this paper,the basic procedure of the ASR method is introduced in detail and the compliances of ASR for boring cores are investigated.The results show that the maximum principal stress direction was NW64°at a measured depth(MD)of 1173 m(vertical depth 1151 m)in WFSD-1.The ratio of shear mode to the volume mode compliance of ASR was 2.9.And the three principal stresses at 1173 m MD in WFSD-1are 43,28 and 25 MPa.Combined with stress measurement results determined using other in situ measurement methods along the Longmenshan fault zone,the directions of the maximum horizontal principal stress changes from E-W to NEE-SWW to NWW-SEE when moving from NE to SW along the Longmenshan fault zone.This change is in agreement with the stress regime of the Longmenshan fault zone of the Wenchuan Earthquake,which supports a stress regime consisting predominantly of thrusts in the southwest and strike-slip in the northeast.SUN DongSheng LIN WeiRen CUI JunWen WANG HongCai CHEN QunCe MA YinSheng WANG LianJie 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,6:10
2Analysis of the Wenchuan Ms8.0 Earthquake's Co-seismic Stress and Displacement Change by Using the Finite Element Method显示文摘The variation of in situ stress before and after earthquakes is an issue studied by geologists. In this paper, on the basis of the fault slip dislocation model of Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake, the changes of co-seismic displacement and the distribution functions of stress tensor around the Longmen Shan fault zone are calculated. The results show that the co-seismic maximum surface displacement is 4.9 m in the horizontal direction and 6.5 m in the vertical direction, which is almost consistent with the on-site survey and GPS observations. The co-seismic maximum horizontal stress in the hanging wall and footwall decreased sharply as the distance from the Longmen Shan fault zone increased. However, the vertical stress and minimum horizontal stress increased in the footwall and in some areas of the hanging wall. The study of the co-seismic displacement and stress was mainly focused on the long and narrow region along the Longmen Shan fault zone, which coincides with the distribution of the earthquake aftershocks. Therefore, the co-seismic stress only affects the aftershocks, and does not affect distant faults and seismic activities. The results are almost consistent with in situ stress measurements at the two sites before and after Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake. Along the fault plane, the co-seismic shear stress in the dip direction is larger than that in the strike direction, which indicates that the faulting mechanism of the Longmen Shan fault zone is a dominant thrust with minor strike-slipping. 3ALOX15-launched PUFA-phospholipids peroxidation increases the susceptibility of ferroptosis in ischemia-induced myocardial damage显示文摘Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(/R)injury is a classic type of cardiovascular disease characterized by injury to cardiomyocytes leading to various forms of cell death.It is believed that irreversible myocardial damage resulted from I/R occurs due to oxidative stress evoked during the reperfusion phase.Here we demonstrate that ischemia triggers a specific redox reaction of polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA)-phospholipids in myocardial cells,which acts as a priming signaling that initiates the outbreak of robust oxidative damage in the reperfusion phase.Using animal and in vitro models,the crucial lipid species in I/R injury were identifed to be oxidized PUFAs enriched phosphatidylethanolamines.Using multi-omics,arachidonic acid 15-lipoxygenase-1(ALOx15)was identified as the primary mediator of ischemia-provoked phospholipid peroxidation,which was further confirmed using chemogenetic approaches.Collectively,our results reveal that ALOx15 induction in the ischemia phase acts as a'burning point'to ignite phospholipid oxidization into ferroptotic signals.This finding characterizes a novel molecular mechanism for myocardial ischemia injury and offers a potential therapeutic target for early intervention of V/R injury.Xiao-Hui Ma Jiang-Han-Zi Liu Chun-Yu Liu Wan-Yang Sun Wen-Jun Duan Guan Wang Hiroshi Kuriara Rong-Rong He Yi-Fang Li Yang Chen Hongcai Shang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9:2

5Earthquake magnitude estimation using the s_c and P_d method for earthquake early warning systems显示文摘Earthquake early warning(EEW) systems are one of the most effective ways to reduce earthquake disaster.Earthquake magnitude estimation is one of the most important and also the most difficult parts of the entire EEW system. In this paper, based on 142 earthquake events and253 seismic records that were recorded by the KiK-net in Japan, and aftershocks of the large Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, we obtained earthquake magnitude estimation relationships using the scand Pdmethods. The standard variances of magnitude calculation of these two formulas are ±0.65 and ±0.56, respectively. The Pdvalue can also be used to estimate the peak ground motion of velocity, then warning information can be released to the public rapidly,according to the estimation results. In order to insure the stability and reliability of magnitude estimation results, we propose a compatibility test according to the natures of these two parameters. 7Wind Power Prediction Based on Multi-class Autoregressive Moving Average Model with Logistic Function显示文摘The seasonality and randomness of wind present a significant challenge to the operation of modern power systems with high penetration of wind generation. An effective shortterm wind power prediction model is indispensable to address this challenge. In this paper, we propose a combined model, i.e.,a wind power prediction model based on multi-class autoregressive moving average(ARMA). It has a two-layer structure: the first layer classifies the wind power data into multiple classes with the logistic function based classification method;the second layer trains the prediction algorithm in each class. This two-layer structure helps effectively tackle the seasonality and randomness of wind power while at the same time maintaining high training efficiency with moderate model parameters. We interpret the training of the proposed model as a solvable optimization problem. We then adopt an iterative algorithm with a semi-closed-form solution to efficiently solve it. Data samples from open-source projects demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model. 11The variety of thermal conduction resulting from segmented degree of heat source body and its bearing on temperature change显示文摘The differences of thermal conduction and its temperature-varying track of the heat source body at various structural environments have been studied. Hypothetically, geologic heat source body is cut successively into several segregative bodies with a fixed cubage. With the segmented number increasing, the conductive surface area of heat source body begins to get larger, which separately is similar to the heat geologic body in different tectonic zones that has a various enclosed coefficient η(η=S0/sum from i=(1,n)(Si)). Finite-element simulation result shows that the thermal conduction speed of spreading from the heat source body to its wall rock is slow→higher→highest, when heat source bodies are situated respectively at compressive, shear and tensile deformation zones, corresponding rates of their temperature drop are low→higher→highest. 13Progress of the earthquake early warning system in Fujian, China显示文摘In this article, we systematically introduce the latest progress of the earthquake early warning(EEW)system in Fujian, China. We focus on the following key technologies and methods: continuous earthquake location and its error evaluation; magnitude estimation; reliability judgment of EEW system information; use of doubleparameter principle in EEW system information release threshold; real-time estimation of seismic intensity and available time for target areas; seismic-monitoring network and data sharing platform; EEW system information release and receiving platform; software test platform; and test results statistical analysis. Based on strong ground motion data received in the mainshock of the Wenchuan earthquake, the EEW system developed by the above algorithm is simulated online, and the results show that the system can reduce earthquake hazards effectively. 15Graphene Oxide-Induced Substantial Strengthening of High-Entropy Alloy Revealed by Micropillar Compression and Molecular Dynamics Simulation显示文摘Plastic deformation mechanisms at micro/nanoscale of graphene oxide-reinforced high-entropy alloy composites(HEA/GO)remain unclear.In this study,small-scale mechanical behaviors were evaluated for HEA/GO composites with 0.0 wt.%,0.3 wt.%,0.6 wt.%,and 1.0wt.%GO,consisting of compression testing on micropillar and molecular dynamics(MD)simulations on nanopillars.The experimental results uncovered that the composites exhibited a higher yield strength and flow stress compared with pure HEA micropillar,resulting from the GO reinforcement and grain refinement strengthening.This was also confirmed by the MD simulations of pure HEA and HEA/GO composite nanopillars.The immobile<100>interstitial dislocations also participated in the plastic deformation of composites,in contrast to pure HEA counterpart where only mobile 1/2<111>perfect dislocations dominated deformation,leading to a higher yield strength for composite.Meanwhile,the MD simulations also revealed that the flow stress of composite nanopillar was significantly improved due to GO sheet effectively impeded dislocation movement.Furthermore,the mechanical properties of HEA/1.0 wt.%GO composite showed a slight reduction compared with HEA/0.6 wt.%GO composite.This correlated with the compositional segregation of Cr carbide and aggregation of GO sheets,indicative of lower work hardening rate in stress-strain curves of micropilar compression.Wei Zhang Hongcai Xie Zhichao Ma Hongwei Zhao Luquan Ren 2023Research2023,,1:0

19Soliton molecules and some novel hybrid solutions for the(2+1)-dimensional generalized Konopelchenko–Dubrovsky–Kaup–Kupershmidt equation显示文摘Soliton molecules have become one of the hot topics in recent years. In this article, we investigate soliton molecules and some novel hybrid solutions for the(2+1)-dimensional generalized Konopelchenko–Dubrovsky–Kaup–Kupershmidt(gKDKK) equation by using the velocity resonance, module resonance, and long wave limits methods. By selecting some specific parameters, we can obtain soliton molecules and asymmetric soliton molecules of the gKDKK equation. And the interactions among N-soliton molecules are elastic. Furthermore, some novel hybrid solutions of the gKDKK equation can be obtained, which are composed of lumps,breathers, soliton molecules and asymmetric soliton molecules.
