| 1 | Intelligent automated system based on a fuzzy logic system for plant protection product control in orchards显示文摘The spraying of plant protection product(PPP)in orchards is a very hazardous working procedure,owing to the spray drift caused by the uneven operation of conventional axial boom sprayers.This research describes an intelligent automated system for precise(PPP)distribution in real-time.It is based on an intelligent decision-making model using ultrasonic measurements of leaf area density under laboratory conditions,which serve to trigger electromagnetic valves(EMV)on the axial boom sprayer.A fuzzy logic algorithm was an integrated part of the intelligent system for controlling the PPP by generating the pulse width modulation signal and applying it through the EMV of the prototype boom sprayer.The results showed that by using an intelligent decision-making model,the same efficiency as with conventional methods could be achieved,but with reduced usage of plant protection products.Thus,the intelligent automated system used 4.8 times less spray mixture than the conventional one. | Peter Berk A.Belšak D.Stajnko M.Lakota N.Muškinja M.Hočevar J.Rakun | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,3: | 2 |

| 5 | Flattening the biological age curve by improving metabolic health:to taurine or not to taurine,that’s the question显示文摘The aging population is an important issue around the world especially in developed countries.Although med-ical advances have substantially extended life span,the same cannot be said for the duration of health span.We are seeing in-creasing numbers of elderly people who are frail and/or have multiple chronic conditions;all of these can affect the quality of life of the elderly population as well as increase the burden on the healthcare system.Aging is mechanistically related to common medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus,ischemic heart disease,cognitive decline,and frailty.A recently accepted concept termed‘Accelerated Biological Aging’can be diagnosed when a person’s biological age—as measured by biomarkers of DNA methylation—is older than their corresponding chronological age.Taurine,a conditionally essential amino acid,has received much attention in the past few years.A substantial number of animal studies have provided a strong scientific foundation sug-gesting that this amino acid can improve cellular and metabolic health,including blood glucose control,so much that it has been labelled one of the‘longevity amino acids’.In this review article,we propose the rationale that an adequately powered random-ized-controlled-trial(RCT)is needed to confirm whether taurine can meaningfully improve metabolic and microbiome health,and biological age.This trial should incorporate certain elements in order to provide the much-needed evidence to guide doctors,and also the community at large,to determine whether this promising and inexpensive amino acid is useful in improving human metabolic health. | Kwok M.Ho Anna Lee William Wu Matthew T.V.Chan Lowell Ling Jeffrey Lipman Jason Roberts Edward Litton Gavin M.Joynt Martin Wong | 2023 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2023,20,11: | 0 |
| 6 | 大手术围术期液体管理策略:分层荟萃分析显示文摘背景尽管开放性和目标导向(goal—directed,GD)的液体治疗在围术期都应用大量液体,但两者对围术期预后的影响却明显不同。我们致力于判断是否某种管理策略优于其他策略。方法我们从MEDLINE、EMBASE、PubMed(1951—2011.4)以及注册的Cochrane对照试验中选择在大手术中应用GD或限制性与开放性(restrictive versus liberal,LVR)液体治疗的随机对照试验(randomized controlled trials,RCTs),不设语言限制。GD和LVR两层进行间接比较。结果该研究纳入来自23项GDRCT[样本量中位数=90,四分位距(interquartile range,IQR)57~JD9]的3861例患者和来自12项LVRRCT(样本中位数=80,IOR36一J5J)的1160例患者。开放性和GD液体治疗均比其相应的对比策略应用更多液体,但两者对结果的影响却明显不同。开放性补液与限制性液体治疗患者比较,肺炎[风险比(riskratio,RR)2.2,95%可信区间[(confidenceinterval,CI)J.0~4.5J和肺水肿(RR3.8,95%CIJ.J—J3)风险更高,住院时间更长[平均差异(mean difference,MD)2天,95%C10.5。3.4]。与非GD液体治疗患者比较,GD治疗患者的肺炎风险(RR0.7,95%C10.6—0.9)和肾脏并发症(RR0.7,95%C10.5。0.9)减少,住院时间缩短(MD2天,95%CIJ一3)。与GD治疗患者比较,开放性液体治疗患者住院时间延长(4天。95%CI3.4~4.4)、肠蠕动恢复时间延长(2天,95%CIJ.j~2.3)、肺炎风险增加(足足月3,95%CIJ.8~4.8)。结论GD液体治疗比无血流动力学目标指导的开放性液体治疗的围术期预后更好。但GD液体治疗是否优于限制性液体治疗仍不确定。 | Tomas Corcoran Julia Emma Joy Rhodes MBBS(Hons) Sarah Clarke MBBS (Hons) Paul S.Myles FCARCSCI,FANZCA,FRCA Kwork M.Ho FRCP,FCICM | 2013 | 麻醉与镇痛2013,,3: | 0 |
