1帽儿山地区森林冠层叶面积指数的地面观测与遥感反演显示文摘叶面积指数(leaf area index,LAI)是陆地生态系统最重要的结构参数之一,遥感和基于冠层孔隙率模型的光学仪器观测是快速获取LAI的有效方法,但由于植被叶片的聚集效应,这些方法通常只能获取有效叶面积指数(effectiveLAI,LAIe).本文以东北林业大学帽儿山实验林场为研究区,利用LAI2000观测森林冠层LAIe,并结合TRAC观测的叶片聚集度系数估算了森林冠层LAI,并通过分析基于Landsat5-TM数据计算的不同植被指数与LAIe之间的关系,建立了该区森林LAI遥感估算模型.结果表明:研究区阔叶林的LAI和LAIe基本相当,而针叶林的LAI比LAIe大27%;减化比值植被指数(reduced simple ratio,RSR)与该区LAIe的相关性最好(R2=0.763,n=23),最适合该区LAI的遥感提取.当海拔<400 m时,LAI随海拔高度的上升而快速增大;当海拔在400~750 m时,LAI随海拔高度的上升缓慢增大;当海拔>750 m时,LAI呈下降趋势.研究区森林冠层LAI与森林地上生物量存在显著的正相关关系.朱高龙 居为民 Jing M.Chen 范文义 周艳莲 李显风 李明泽 2010应用生态学报2010,21,8:52

4Online schedule for autonomy of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles显示文摘An online rectangle based scheduling algorithm(RSA) is developed to improve autonomy of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) to search a field of forest together. The purposes of RSA are to online decide the number of the UAVs to be assigned and to schedule the path for the assigned UAVs to search the missed areas resulted from the previous search. The main ideas of RSA are to cover each separated zone of the missed areas with a rectangle and then to schedule the path to search the rectangles. Thus, RSA is robust against the unknown shapes and sizes of the missed areas. The forest search is applied to verify the online RSA in simulation. 5Research on High-Speed Drilling Performances of Austenitic Stainless Steels显示文摘Due to specific properties arising from their structure (high ductility, high toughness,strong tenacious and low heat conductivity), the stainless steels have poor machinability. The drilling of the stainless steels becomes the machining difficulty for their serious work-hardening and abrasion of tools. In this paper, the austenitic stainless steel is used as the work-piece to perform the contrastive experiments with the TiN coated and TiAlN-coated high-speed steel drills. The cutting force, torque, cutting temperature, and the abrasion of drills and tool life are tested and analyzed in the process of high-speed drilling. Experiment results show the effect of drilling speed on cutting force, cutting temperature, and drill wear. TiAlN-coated drills demonstrate better performances in high speed drilling. 6Reversible solid-oxide cells for clean and sustainable energy显示文摘This review gives first a brief view of the potential availability of sustainable energy.It is clear that over 100 times more solar photovoltaic energy than necessary is readily accessible and that practically available wind alone may deliver sufficient energy supply to the world.Due to the intermittency of these sources,effective and inexpensive energy-conversion and storage technology is needed.Motivation for the possible electrolysis application of reversible solid-oxide cells(RSOCs),including a comparison of power-to-fuel/fuel-to-power to other energy-conversion and storage technologies is presented.RSOC electrochemistry and chemistry of H_(2)O,CO_(2),H_(2),CO,CnHm(hydrocarbons)and NH3,including thermodynamics and cell performance,are described.The mechanical strength of popular cell supports is outlined,and newly found stronger materials are mentioned.Common cell-degradation mechanisms,including the effect of common impurities in gases and materials(such as S and Si),plus the deleterious effects of carbon deposition in the fuel electrode are described followed by explanations of how to avoid or ease the consequences.Visions of how RSOCs powered by sustainable energy may be applied on a large scale for the transportation sector via power-to-fuel technology and for integration with the electrical grid together with seasonal storage are presented.Finally,a brief comparison of RSOCs to other electrolysis cells and an outlook with examples of actions necessary to commercialize RSOC applications are sketched.M.B.Mogensen M.Chen H.L.Frandsen C.Graves J.B.Hansen K.V.Hansen A.Hauch T.Jacobsen S.H.Jensen T.L.Skafte X.Sun 2019Clean Energy2019,3,3:5

8Optimization of hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration of ion beams for fusion ignition显示文摘In contrast to ion beams produced by conventional accelerators,ion beams accelerated by ultrashort intense laser pulses have advantages of ultrashort bunch duration and ultrahigh density,which are achieved in compact size.However,it is still challenging to simultaneously enhance their quality and yield for practical applications such as fast ion ignition of inertial confinement fusion.Compared with other mechanisms of laser-driven ion acceleration,the hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration has a special advantage in generating high-fluence ion beams suitable for the creation of high energy density state of matters.In this paper,we present a review on some theoretical and numerical studies of the hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration.First we discuss the typical field structure associated with this mechanism,its intrinsic feature of oscillations,and the underling physics.Then we will review some recently proposed schemes to enhance the beam quality and the efficiency in the hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration,such as matching laser intensity profile with target density profile,and using two-ion-species targets.Based on this,we propose an integrated scheme for efficient high-quality hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration,in which the longitudinal density profile of a composite target as well as the laser transverse intensity profile are tailored according to the matching condition.S.M.Weng Z.M.Sheng M.Murakami M.Chen M.Liu H.C.Wang T.Yuan J.Zhang 2018Matter and Radiation at Extremes2018,3,1:3

11Novel ternary Ag/CeVO_4/g-C_3N_4 nanocomposite as a highly efficient visible-light-driven photocatalyst显示文摘The CeVO_4/graphitic C_3N_4 composites have exhibited much enhanced photocatalytic property for degrading methylene blue(MB) pollutant under visible light irradiation compared with single-phase g-C_3N_4 or CeVO_4. The composite S5 obtained from an optimized mass ratio(5%) of CeVO_4 to dicyanamide(DCDA) exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity. Here, ternary Ag/CeVO_4/g-C_3N_4 composites denoted as X%Ag/S5 were prepared by an ultrasonic precipitation method to improve the photocatalytic property of S5. The TEM images show that CeVO_4 and Ag nanoparticles are well distributed on the layered g-C_3N_4, which agree well with the XRD results. The UV spectra show that the 7%Ag/S5 sample has the widest absorption range and the enhanced absorption intensity under visible light irradiation. The corresponding band gap of 7%Ag/S5(2.5 eV) is much lower than that of S5(2.65 eV). The corresponding k value of 7%Ag/S5 is much higher than those of g-C_3N_4 and CeVO_4. The degradation experiments for MB solution suggest that the 7%Ag/S5 sample has the optimal photocatalytic performance, which can degrade MB solution completely within 120 min. 12Stool DNA-based versus colonoscopy-based colorectal cancer screening: Patient perceptions and preferences显示文摘Objective:Stool DNA(sDNA)tests offer a noninvasive form of colon cancer screening for pa-tients,and although the test is expected to increase uptake of colon cancer screening,it is unknown if patients’perceptions of the sDNA test differ according to race and other patient characteristics.Methods:We conducted a self-administered survey of patients undergoing both a colonoscopy and an sDNA test to evaluate perceptions of sDNA testing.Results:Of the 613 participants who were sent surveys,423 responded(69%response rate).Respondents self-identified as African American(n=127,30%),Caucasian(n=284,67%),and other ethnicity(n=12,3%).In general,participants found the sDNA test more suitable than a colonos-copy(n=309,75%).In univariate analyses,a higher percentage of Caucasians as compared with African Americans found the sDNA test more suitable than a colonoscopy(89%vs.76%,p<0.01),and more Caucasians than African Americans preferred the sDNA test(43%vs.32%,p<0.05).Ad-justment for covariates reduced these racial differences to no significance.A family history of colo-rectal cancer remains a significant factor for patient’s preferences for screening regardless of race.Conclusions:Our study shows no racial differences in the perception of and preference for sDNA testing for colon screening.Intervention to increase the uptake of sDNA testing may help reduce racial disparities in colorectal cancer.Matthew V.Abola Todd F.Fennimore Marcia M.Chen Zhengyi Chen Ashutosh K.Sheth Gregory Cooper Li Li 2015Family Medicine and Community Health2015,3,3:2
13Experimental study of water and dissolved pollutant runoffs on impervious surfaces显示文摘The water and dissolved pollutant runoffs on impervious surfaces are the essential factor to be considered in design methods to minimize the impacts of the diffuse water pollution. In this paper, experiments are conducted to study the water and dissolved pollutant runoffs on impervious surfaces for different rainfall intensities and surface roughnesses. It is shown that a larger rainfall intensity and a smaller surface roughness reduce the time of concentration and increase the pollutant transport rate. Most of the pollutant runoffs take place at the initial stage of the rainfall. 14Autonomous reconfigurable hybrid tail-sitter UAV U-Lion显示文摘We present in this work the development of a novel hybrid unmanned aircraft platform, U-Lion,which has both vertical take-off and landing(VTOL) and cruising flight capabilities. Our design is in tail-sitter structure with reconfigurable wings, which combines the advantages of a fixed-wing plane and a rotor helicopter effectively. This allows it to transit from vertical take-off to hovering, before flying in cruise mode for efficient long duration flight. The propulsion comes from two coaxial contra-rotating motors fixed on a gimbal mechanism,which can change the direction of the motors for the required thrust. This thrust-vectored propulsion system primarily provides control in the VTOL mode but also enhances flight capabilities in the cruise mode. The hybrid aircraft is equipped with GPS and airspeed sensors, and has an onboard avionic system with advanced flight control algorithms to perform fully autonomous VTOL and cruising flights, in addition to transiting effectively between VTOL and cruising flight modes.
