1Tectonics of South China Continent and its implications显示文摘This paper aims at exploring the tectonic characteristics of the South China Continent(SCC)and extracting the universal tectonic rules from these characteristics,to help enrich the plate tectonic theory and better understand the continental dynamic system.For this purpose,here we conduct a multi-disciplinary investigation and combine it with the previous studies to reassess the tectonics and evolution of SCC and propose that the tectonic framework of the continent comprises two blocks,three types of tectonic units,four deformation systems,and four evolutionary stages with distinctive mechanism and tectonic characteristics since the Neoproterozoic.The four evolutionary stages are:(1)The amalgamation and break-up of the Neoproterozoic plates,typically the intracontinental rifting.(2)The early Paleozoic and Mesozoic intracontinental orogeny confined by plate tectonics,forming two composite tectonic domains.(3)The parallel operation of the Yangtze cratonization and intracontinental orogeny,and multi-phase reactivation of the Yangtze craton.(4)The association and differentiation evolution of plate tectonics and intracontinental tectonics,and the dynamic characteristics under the Meso-Cenozoic modern global plate tectonic regime.ZHANG GuoWei GUO AnLin WANG YueJun LI SanZhong DONG YunPeng LIU ShaoFeng HE DengFa CHENG ShunYou LU RuKui YAO AnPing 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,11:88
2ROS-responsive cyclodextrin nanoplatform for combined photodynamic therapy and chemotherapy of cancer显示文摘Cyclodextrin(CD) has special spatial structure and well biological safety,so it has been widely used for constructing CD-based na noplatforms.Through functionalization,cyclodextrin can form various stimulusresponse nanoplatforms,such as pH,temperature,redox,light and magnetic fields.In this study,we designed a highly sensitive reactive oxygen species(ROS)-responsive polymer PCP which encapsulated doxorubicin(DOX) and purpurin 18(P18) to achieve the syne rgy of photodynamic and chemotherapy.The high content of reactive oxygen species(ROS) in the tumor microenvironment(TME) triggers the cleavage of the borate bond of MPEG-CD-PHB(PCP),thereby promoting the re lease of drugs.When irradiated with nea rinfrared laser,the photosensitizer P18 released by polymer micelles can produce reactive oxygen species to promote cell apoptosis.Compared with monotherapy,a series of experiments confirmed that our micelles had enhanced anti-cancer activity.This work was beneficial to the design of ROS-responsive materials and provides an effective strategy for the application of collaborative anti-tumor therapy.Die Jia Xianbin Ma Yi Lu Xinyi Li Shengxin Hou Yuan Gao Peng Xue Yuejun Kang Zhigang Xu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:4
3Prototethyan orogenesis in southwest Yunnan and Southeast Asia显示文摘The Prototethyan Ocean has been suggested as an Early Paleozoic Ocean developed at the Gondwana northern margin. However, its spatial pattern, subduction style and closure time in SW Yunnan and SE Asia still remain unknown. The Prototethyan evolution in SW Yunnan and SE Asia and its internal connection with the South China Kwangsian(Ordo-Silurian)intracontinental orogenesis are also poorly constrained. By summarizing and analyzing the Early Paleozoic geological records in the Sibumasu and Indochina blocks, the eastern South China and SW Japan, this paper proposes the existence of a giant OrdoSilurian igneous belt along the Gondwana northern margin. A preliminary limitation has been obtained regarding the source nature and migration pattern of the igneous belt. Our data allow us to propose a model of the Early Paleozoic Andean-type active continental margin along the East Gondwana northern margin. This is the foundation to determine the southward subduction of the southern branch of the eastern Prototethyan Ocean underneath the Sibumasu and Indochina blocks along the YunxianMenghai(SW Yunnan)-Thailand Peninsula and the Tam Ky-Phouc Son suture in Central Vietnam, respectively, and the eastward linkage with the Early Paleozoic Osaka subduction zone in SW Japan across the peripheral Sanya area. These data synthetically indicate an easterly-diachronous and propagating Andean-type Cambrian(Furongian)-Silurian(Llandovery) orogenesis along the Gondwana northern margin from Nepal, NW India, South Tibet, Qiangtang to Central Vietnam across South Indochina and Sibumasu. 4Anthraquinone derivative as high-performance anode material for sodium-ion batteries using ether-based electrolytes显示文摘Organic materials, especially the carbonyl compounds, are promising anode materials for room temperature sodium-ion batteries owing to their high reversible capacity, structural diversity as well as eco-friendly synthesis from bio-mass. Herein, we report a novel anthraquinone derivative, C_(14)H_6 O_4 Na_2 composited with carbon nanotube(C_(14)H_6 O_4 Na_2-CNT), used as an anode material for sodium-ion batteries in etherbased electrolyte. The C_(14)H_6 O_4 Na_2-CNT electrode delivers a reversible capacity of 173 mAh g^(-1) and an ultra-high initial Coulombic efficiency of 98% at the rate of 0.1 C. The capacity retention is 82% after 50 cycles at 0.2 C and a good rate capability is displayed at 2 C.Furthermore, the average Na insertion voltage of 1.27 V vs. Na^+/Na makes it a unique and safety battery material, which would avoid Na plating and formation of solid electrolyte interface. 5Micropatterns and peptide gradient on the inner surface of a guidance conduit synergistically promotes nerve regeneration in vivo显示文摘Both of the surface topographical features and distribution of biochemical cues can influence the cell-substrate interactions and thereby tissue regeneration in vivo.However,they have not been combined simultaneously onto a biodegradable scaffold to demonstrate the synergistic role so far.In this study,a proof-of-concept study is performed to prepare micropatterns and peptide gradient on the inner wall of a poly(D,L-lactide-co-caprolactone)(PLCL)guidance conduit and its advantages in regeneration of peripheral nerve in vivo.After linear ridges/grooves of 20/40μm in width are created on the PLCL film,its surface is aminolyzed in a kinetically controlled manner to obtain the continuous gradient of amino groups,which are then transferred to CQAASIKVAV peptide density gradient via covalent coupling of glutaraldehyde.The Schwann cells are better aligned along with the stripes,and show a faster migration rate toward the region of higher peptide density.Implantation of the nerve guidance conduit made of the PLCL film having both the micropatterns and peptide gradient can significantly accelerate the regeneration of sciatic nerve in terms of rate,function recovery and microstructures,and reduction of fibrosis in muscle tissues.Moreover,this nerve conduit can also benefit the M2 polarization of macrophages and promote vascularization in vivo.Deteng Zhang Ziming Li Haifei Shi Yuejun Yao Wang Du Pan Lu Kejiong Liang Liangjie Hong Changyou Gao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:1

8Florigen(Ⅱ):It is a Mobile Protein显示文摘The true identity of florigen-the molecule(s) that migrates from leaves to apical meristem to initiate flowering-was notoriously elusive,having made it almost the'Bigfoot'of plant biology.There was never a lack of drama in the field of florigen study,and florigen researchers have once again experienced such a swing in the last two years.We wrote a minireview last year in this journal(Yu et al.2006) to excitedly salute,among other discoveries,the notion that the flowering locus T(FT) mRNA might be the molecular form of a florigen.However,this hypothesis was challenged in a little less than two years after its initial proposition,and the original paper proposed that the FT mRNA hypothesis was retracted(Huang et al.2005;Bohlenius et al.2007).Interestingly enough,the FT gene previously proposed to encode a florigen was never challenged.Rather,the FT protein,instead of the FT mRNA,is now believed to migrate from leaves to the apical meristem to promote floral initiation.In this update,we will share with our readers some entertaining stories concerning the recent studies of florigen in five different plant species.In addition to the published reports referenced in this update,readers may also refer to our previous minireview and references therein for additional background information(Yu et al.2006).Yuejun Yang John Klejnot Xuhong Yu Xuanming Lu Chentao Lin 2007Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2007,49,12:1
9A multi-omic landscape of steatosis-to-NASH progression显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)has emerged as a major cause of liver failure and hepatocellular carcinoma.Investigation into the molecular mechanisms that underlie steatosis-to-NASH progression is key to understanding the development of NASH pathophysiology.Here,we present comprehensive multi-omic profiles of preclinical animal models to identify genes,non-coding RNAs,proteins,and plasma metabolites involved in this progression.In particular,by transcriptomics analysis,we identified Growth Differentiation Factor 3(GDF3)as a candidate noninvasive biomarker in NASH.Plasma GDF3 levels are associated with hepatic pathological features in patients with NASH,and differences in these levels provide a high diagnostic accuracy of NASH diagnosis(AUROC=0.90;95%confidence interval:0.85−0.95)with a good sensitivity(90.7%)and specificity(86.4%).In addition,by developing integrated proteomic-metabolomic datasets and performing a subsequent pharmacological intervention in a mouse model of NASH,we show that ferroptosis may be a potential target to treat NASH.Moreover,by using competing endogenous RNAs network analysis,we found that several miRNAs,including miR-582-5p and miR-292a-3p,and lncRNAs,including XLOC-085738 and XLOC-041531,are associated with steatosis-to-NASH progression.Collectively,our data provide a valuable resource into the molecular characterization of NASH progression,leading to the novel insight that GDF3 may be a potential noninvasive diagnostic biomarker for NASH while further showing that ferroptosis is a therapeutic target for the disease.Liping Xiang Xiaoyan Li Yunchen Luo Bing Zhou Yuejun Liu Yao Li Duojiao Wu Lijing Jia Pei-Wu Zhu Ming-Hua Zheng Hua Wang Yan Lu 2022Life Metabolism2022,1,3:0
10Statistical Analysis of the Dynamic Parameters of Silty Clay in the Beijing Area显示文摘Soil dynamic parameters,including dynamic shear modulus ratio and damping ratio,have important effects on the results of layered soil earthquake response. In this paper,the mean parameter values of silty clay in different depths are obtained after statistical analysis of the experimental soil dynamic data from 20 recent site seismic safety evaluation reports in the Beijing area. Furthermore,based on two typical engineering sites,the influence of four different soil dynamic parameters,the statistic mean values,experimental values, values recommended by Yuan Xiaoming,and the values recommended in the code for seismic safety evaluation of engineering sites( DB001-94) are analyzed.
