2Exploratory study on new pulse detonation engines显示文摘The worldwide progress in studies on pulse detonation engines (PDE) is briefly reviewed and some results of our exploratory study on PDE are presented. Analysis of thermodynamic cycle is made and the specific impulse formula is improved. A proof-of-principle experiment of a two-phase PDE is successfully carried out, using poor-detonable liquid C8H16/air mixture with a low-energy system (total spark energy of 50 mJ) and a newly developed one-step detonation initiation method. The measured detonation wave pressure ratio is very close to that of C-J detonation. The effects of length, diameter and detonation frequency on PDE performance are experimentally investigated. For liquid hydrocarbon fuel/air mixture, the PDE operation is successfully realized with an engine length of 1000 mm and detonation frequency up to 36 Hz, which has made an important step toward practical PDE. The developed code can be used for simulating PDE operation processes including deflagration to detonation transition (DDT) phenomenon. 3Experimental investigations on the power extraction of a turbine driven by a pulse detonation combustor显示文摘In order to grasp the interaction mechanism between the pulse detonation combustor(PDC)and the turbine,the experimental work in this paper investigates the key factors on the power extraction of a turbocharger turbine driven by a PDC.A PDC consisting of an unvalved tube is integrated with a turbocharger turbine which has a nominal mass flow rate of 0.6 kg/s and50000 r/min.The PDC–turbine hybrid engine is operated on gasoline-air mixtures and runs for6+min to achieve a thermal steady state,and then the engine performance is evaluated under different operating conditions.Results show that the momentum difference per unit area between the turbine inlet and outlet plays an important role in the power extraction,while the pressure peak of the detonation has little effect.The equivalence ratio of fuel and air mixture and the transition structure between PDC and turbine are also important to the power extraction of the turbine.The present work is promising as it suggests that the performance beneft of a PDC–turbine hybrid engine can be realized by increasing the momentum difference per unit area through the optimal design of transition section between the PDC and turbine.Li Xiaofeng Zheng Longxi Qiu Hua Chen Jingbin 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,6:9
4Fluid inclusion evidence for petroleum accumulation in northern Qaidam Basin显示文摘Based on the results of fluid inclusion study(microscopic characteristics,homogenization temperatures and grains with oil inclusions),the pool-forming time of the Nanbaxian and Mabei 1 oilfields in northern Qaidam Basin was discussed in this paper.Fluid inclusions in northern Qaidam Basin are relatively abundant,including aqueous inclusions and hydrocarbon inclusions.These inclusions are small(5-10 μm),and mainly distributed in quartz fissures,overgrowths and cementations.The abundances of grains with oil inclusions(GOI) are commonly low.The GOI values of most samples are between 2.0%-10.5%,and those of about 40 percent of total samples exceed 5%.The homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in different samples are markedly dissimilar,indicating that these inclusions were formed in different periods.According to the measured homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions and in combination with burial history and thermal evolution history,the Nanbaxian and Mabei 1 oilfields are deduced,which have experienced two hydrocarbon charging periods,with the former of N1-N21 and N22-N23,and the latter of N1 and N1 end-N2,respectively.YANG Yunfeng LI Xianqing FENG Songbao WANG Kangdong KONG Longxi DONG Peng XU Feng PENG Dehua CHEN Yan 2010Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2010,29,4:5

7Numerical studies on supersonic spray combustion in high-temperature shear flows in a scramjet combustor显示文摘Numerical simulation is applied to detail the combustion characteristics of n-decane sprays in highly compressible vortices formed in a supersonic mixing layer. The multi-phase reacting flow is modeled, in which the shear flow is solved Eulerianly by means of direct numerical simulation, and the motions of individual sub-grid point-mass fuel droplets are tracked Lagrangianly.Spray combustion behaviors are studied under different ambient pressures. Results indicate that ignition kernels are formed at high-strain vortex braids, where the scalar dissipation rates are high.The flame kernels are then strongly strained, associated with the rotation of the shearing vortex, and propagate to envelop the local vortex. It is observed that the flammable mixtures entrained in the vortex are burned from the edge to the core of the vortex until the reactants are completely consumed. As the ambient pressure increases, the high-temperature region expands so that the behaviors of spray flames are strongly changed. An overall analysis of the combustion field indicates that the time-averaged temperature increases, and the fluctuating pressure decreases, resulting in a more stable spray combustion under higher pressures, primarily due to the acceleration of the chemical reaction.Zhaoxin REN Bing WANG Longxi ZHENG Dan ZHAO 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,9:2

10Thrust measurement method verification and analytical studies on a liquid-fueled pulse detonation engine显示文摘In order to test the feasibility of a new thrust stand system based on impulse thrust measurement method, a liquid-fueled pulse detonation engine(PDE) is designed and built. Thrust performance of the engine is obtained by direct thrust measurement with a force transducer and indirect thrust measurement with an eddy current displacement sensor(ECDS). These two sets of thrust data are compared with each other to verify the accuracy of the thrust performance. Then thrust data measured by the new thrust stand system are compared with the verified thrust data to test its feasibility. The results indicate that thrust data from the force transducer and ECDS system are consistent with each other within the range of measurement error. Though the thrust data from the impulse thrust measurement system is a litter lower than that from the force transducer due to the axial momentum losses of the detonation jet, the impulse thrust measurement method is valid when applied to measure the averaged thrust of PDE. Analytical models of PDE are also discussed in this paper. The analytical thrust performance is higher than the experimental data due to ignoring the losses during the deflagration to detonation transition process. Effect of equivalence ratio on the engine thrust performance is investigated by utilizing the modified analytical model. 12Parameter estimation in channel network flow simulation显示文摘Simulations of water flow in channel networks require estimated values of roughness for all the individual channel segments that make up a network. When the number of individual channel segments is large, the parameter calibration workload is substantial and a high level of uncertainty in estimated roughness cannot be avoided. In this study, all the individual channel segments are graded according to the factors determining the value of roughness. It is assumed that channel segments with the same grade have the same value of roughness. Based on observed hydrological data, an optimal model for roughness estimation is built. The procedure of solving the optimal problem using the optimal model is described. In a test of its efficacy, this estimation method was applied successfully in the simulation of tidal water flow in a large complicated channel network in the lower reach of the Yangtze River in China.Han Longxi 2008Water Science and Engineering2008,1,1:1

15Quantitative trait locus mapping of yield and plant height in autotetraploid alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)显示文摘Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)is the most widely grown forage legume crop worldwide.Yield and plant height are important agronomic traits influenced by genetic and environmental factors.The objective of this study was to identify quantitative trait loci(QTL)and molecular markers associated with alfalfa yield and plant height.To understand the genetic basis of these traits,a full-sib F1 population composed of 392 individuals was developed by crossing a low-yielding precocious alfalfa genotype(male parent)with a high-yielding latematuring alfalfa cultivar(female parent).The linkage maps were constructed with 3818 single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers on 64 linkage groups.QTL for yield and plant height were mapped using phenotypic data for three years.Sixteen QTL associated with yield and plant height were identified on chromosomes 1 to 8.Six QTL explained more than 10%of phenotypic variation,representing major loci controlling yield and plant height.One locus on chromosome 1 controlling yield traits had not been identified in previous studies.Three QTL co-located with other QTL(qyield-1 and qheight-7,qheight-5 and qyield-4,qheight-6,and qyield-6).With further validation,the markers closely linked with these QTL may be used for marker-assisted selection in breeding new alfalfa varieties with high yield.Fei He Ruicai Long Tiejun Zhang Fan Zhang Zhen Wang Xijiang Yang Xueqian Jiang Changfu Yang Xuxin Zhi Mingna Li Longxi Yu Junmei Kang Qingchuan Yang 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,5:1
