A new method for evaluating the oil mobility based on the relationship between pore structure and state of oil显示文摘An accurate evaluation of the shale oil mobility is crucial to its cost-effective exploitation. This study presents a method to assess shale oil mobility by integrating the pore structure and oil states distributions.First,a set of three discrete organic extracts(EOM-A,B and C)were obtained by sequential extraction. The relationships among the EOMs and the oil states were inferred from the group compositions and fluorescence properties of the produced shale oil(free state). The results showed that EOMs A and B represent free oil in the open and closed pores, respectively, while the EOM-C represents adsorbed oil. Then,NMR T_(1)-T_(2)map is used to determine the T_(2-cutoff)values that indicate the pore size ranges of different oil states.Free oil resides mainly in larger pore space(T_(2)>0.5 ms),while the adsorbed oil in smaller pore space(0.2 ms0.5 and T_(2-cutoff)>1.0 ms suggest that the free oil in connected pores has the highest mobility. This work can provide a reference for evaluating the shale oil potential and prospectivity in other regions.Longhui Bai Bo Liu Xiaofei Fu Qinhong Hu Qiuli Huo Liu Wang Qiming Wang Li FuMehdi Ostadhassan 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,6:2
Microscopic and Fractal Characterization of Organic Matter within Lacustrine Shale Reservoirs in the First Member of Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation,Songliao Basin,Northeast China显示文摘Understanding the occurrences of different fractions of organic matter in shale reservoirs is very important for the evaluation of shale oil.Lacustrine organic-rich shale samples from the first member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Songliao Basin were analyzed with confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM)and fluorescence spectral analysis. The results show that the occurrences of different organic components are related to the fabric of samples and vary with depth. The bulk content of light components is significantly higher than heavy components and exhibits a positive relationship with quartz and feldspar contents. Both light and heavy components are distributed parallel with the lamination in microscopic view in laminated samples, and randomly in massive samples. The maximum radius of light components in most of the samples is larger than 20μm,while it is smaller for heavy components, indicating the micro fractionation from clay/organic lamina to quartz/feldspar lamina. The depth of enrichment of light components corresponds to the oil maturity of organic matter. Both the distribution of light and heavy components fits the same fractal model, with fractal dimensions ranging between 2.2 and 2.5.The CLSM results confirm that it can be a reliable tool for the'sweet spot'exploration.Bo Liu Meng Yan Xianda Sun Yunfeng Bai Longhui Bai Xiaofei Fu 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,6:2
Differences in hydrocarbon composition of shale oils in different phase states from the Qingshankou Formation, Songliao Basin, as determined from fluorescence experiments显示文摘The phase state of shale oil has a significant impact on its mobility. The mineral and organic matter in shale reservoirs play an important role in oil phase. This study attempts to evaluate the properties of shale oils in different phase states and to investigate how these differences are related to initial shale composition.Samples from the first member of the Qingshankou(Q1)Formation were analyzed using X-ray diffraction, total organic carbon content, rock pyrolysis solvent extraction and group component separation.Subsequently, fluorescence techniques were used to quantitatively determine the content and properties of the free oil(FO),the adsorbed oil associated with carbonate(ACO),and the adsorbed oil associated with silicate and clay-organic complexes(AKO).The results showed that non-hydrocarbons and asphaltenes are the primary fluorescing compounds on shale grain.FO is the dominant phase in the Q1 Formation. The quantitative grain fluorescence on extraction(QGF-E)and total scanning fluorescence(TSF)spectra of ACO and AKO show a significant redshift compared to the FO.The TSF spectra of FO have a characteristic skew to the left and a single peak distribution, suggesting a relatively light hydrocarbon component. The TSF spectra of ACO show a skew to the right and an even,double-peaked distribution. The TSF spectra of AKO show a single peak with a skew to the right, indicating that ACO and AKO hydrocarbons are heavier than FO hydrocarbons. In summary, enrichment of carbonate minerals in shale may result in mis-identification of“sweet spots”when using QGF.The normalized fluorescence intensity of QGF-E and TSF are effective indexes allowing oil content evaluation. As an additional complicating factor, hydrocarbon fractionation occurs during generation and expulsion, leading to a differentiation of oil composition. And FO has high relatively light hydrocarbon content and the strongest fluidity.Longhui BAI Bo LIU Jianguo YANG Shansi TIAN Boyang WANG Saipeng HUANG 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,2:1
Spherical cationic polymer networks with porphyrin photosensitizer for sustainable and efficient photocatalysis显示文摘The continuous and sustainable photo-activity on micro-or nano-carriers has always been a key stepping stone in the industrialization of photo-catalysis,photo-synthesis,and photo-degradation.Herein,we report a new series of positively charged hollow microspheres carrying porphyrin moieties.Such hollow spheres are formed through crosslinking of well-ordered porous thin laminates, initiated by co-assembly of regular monomers and those decorated with porphyrin moieties. On the surface of an individual sphere, densely distributed positive sites attract anionic reactants. The superficial porphyrin decomposes the accumulated reactants under 1 Sun.After degradation and release of products, the photoactive sites are thereby renewed. We demonstrate that polymer network(1:10)exhibited superior sustainable photocatalytic performance with complete degradation of methyl orange(MO)in 40 min with no observable performance deterioration after six cycles. The established close loop of adsorption-reaction-release cycle makes possible many efficient and continuous photo-catalytic processes.Lingling Zhang Liwei Wu Junhui Bao Longhui Li Zejun Liu Feng Bai Jie Ju Xi Yao 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0
通过^(1)H(^(15)O,p)^(15)O弹性散射来研究^(16)F的能级性质显示文摘The understanding of open quantum systems in unbound nuclei is a challenge to the nuclear structure research[1].The continuum coupling effect may lead to a reordering of the shells in such systems[2].A way to study this effect is to compare the level schemes of two mirror nuclei involving an unbound and a bound nucleus such as 16F and 16N[3].Here we report an experiment of studying the level properties of 16F using the resonant elastic scattering with an 15O radioactive beam delivered by the Radioactive Ion Beam Line at Lanzhou(RIBLL)[4].Ru Longhui Hu Jun Liu Enqiang Bai Zhen Duan Fangfang Fang Xiao Hou Suqing Hu Qiang Ji Liancheng Jin Shuya Li Kuoang Li Yiyang Li Ruojie Ma Peng Ma Junbing Sun Xinxin Shi Guozhu Tang Xiaodong Wang Xinyu Wang Jiansong Wang Yufeng Wu Jiatong Xu Xiaodong Xu Shiwei Xin Wenyu Yang Kaiping Yang Yanyun NMichel 2018IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2018,,1:0
Identification, evolution and geological indications of solid bitumen in shales: A case study of the first member of Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in Songliao Basin, NE China显示文摘On the basis of sorting out current understanding of solid bitumen (SB) in shales and taking organic-rich shales in the first member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Songliao Basin as an example, the definition, classification, occurrence and evolution path of SB are systemtically studied, and the indicative significance of SB reflectance (Rob) on maturity and its influence on the development of reservoir space are discussed and summarized. The results show that the difference of primary maceral types is primarily responsible for the different evolution paths of SB. Most of the pre-oil bitumen is in-situ SB with only a small amount being of migrated SB, while most of the post-oil bitumen and pyrobitumen are migrated SB. From the immature to early oil maturity stage, bituminite, vitrinite, and inertinite can be distinguished from SB based on their optical characteristics under reflected light, and alginite can be differentiated from SB by their fluorescence characteristics. Under scanning electron microscope, in-situ SB and migrated SB can be effectively identified. Rob increases linearly with increasing vitrinite reflectance (Ro), as a result of a decrease of aliphatic structure and the enhancement of aromatization of SB. Within the oil window three types of secondary pores may develop in SB, including modified mineral pores, devolatilization cracks and bubble holes. At a high maturity stage spongy pores may develop in pyrobitumen. Scanning electron microscopy combined with in-situ SEM-Raman spectroscopy can further reveal the structral information of different types of SB, thus providing crucial data for understanding for understanding OM migration paths, dynamics, and distances at micro-scale.LIU Bo WANG Liu FU Xiaofei HUO Qiuli BAI Longhui LYU Jiancai WANG Boyang 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,6:0
