| 1 | A comprehensive update:gastrointestinal microflora, gastric cancer and gastric premalignant condition, and intervention by traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘With the recent upsurge of studies in the field of microbiology,we have learned more about the complexity of the gastrointestinal microecosystem.More than 30 genera and 1000 species of gastrointestinal microflora have been found. The structure of the normal microflora is relatively stable, and is in an interdependent and restricted dynamic equilibrium with the body.In recent years, studies have shown that there is a potential relationship between gastrointestinal microflora imbalance and gastric cancer(GC)and precancerous lesions. So,restoring the balance of gastrointestinal microflora is of great significance. Moreover, intervention in gastric premalignant condition(GPC),also known as precancerous lesion of gastric cancer(PLGC),has been the focus of current clinical studies. The holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is consistent with the microecology concept, and oral TCM can play a two-way regulatory role directly with the microflora in the digestive tract, restoring the homeostasis of gastrointestinal microflora to prevent canceration. However, large gaps in knowledge remain to be addressed. This review aims to provide new ideas and a reference for clinical practice. | Yuting LU Huayi LIU Kuo YANG Yijia MAO Lingkai MENG Liu YANG Guangze OUYANG Wenjie LIU | 2022 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,1: | 6 |
| 2 | Therapeutic potential of traditional Chinese medicine for vascular endothelial growth factor显示文摘Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)is the main regulator of physiological angiogenesis during embryonic development, bone growth, and reproductive function, and it also participates in a series of pathological changes.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),with a history of more than 2000 years, has been widely used in clinical practice, while the exploration of its mechanisms has only begun. This review summarizes the research of recent years on the influence of TCM on VEGF.It is found that many Chinese medicines and recipes have a regulatory effect on VEGF,indicating that Chinese medicine has broad prospects as a complementary and alternative therapy, providing new treatment ideas for clinical applications and the theoretical basis for research on the mechanisms of TCM. | Yijia MAO Lingkai MENG Huayi LIU Yuting LU Kuo YANG Guangze OUYANG Yanran BAN Shuang CHEN | 2022 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,5: | 1 |
| 3 | Lateral Pressure of RC Silos with Static and Dynamic Granular Materials显示文摘This paper aims at analyzing material-induced lateral pressure of RC cylinder silo in both static and dynamic condition using the finite element method( FEM). In the finite element software ABAQUS,concrete material is modeled by concrete damaged plasticity model, and stored materials in silo is modeled by the hypoplastic theory. In terms of numerical model, shell elements( S4R) and solid elements( C3D8) are applied for model silo wall and stored materials respectively. The interaction between silo wall and stored materials is simulated by Coulomb friction model and penalty contact constrain provided by ABAQUS.The numerical results are verified with the existing experimental data that are designed to ensure the validation of such numerical model using FEM and it obtains good agreements between numerical results and experimental data. Then the material parameters are analyzed in both static and dynamic condition.According to the analysis,it is clear that critical friction angle, initial void ratio and minimum void ratio have an obvious effect on static lateral pressure while all the material parameters affect dynamic lateral pressure at different levels. In addition, differences of silo wall between elastic and plastic state are analyzed in dynamic condition. The numerical results show that it contributes to increasing dynamic pressure when silo wall enters into the plastic state. Finally, this paper discusses the time-history lateral pressure at different heights along silo wall, and analytical results indicate that larger acceleration values play main roles in producing the maximum lateral pressure at higher part of the silo wall. | Kunpeng Guo Changdong Zhou Xiaoyang Zhang Lingkai Meng | 2015 | Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series)2015,22,4: | 0 |
| 4 | Evolution and paleogeography of Eospirifer(Spiriferida,Brachiopoda) in Late Ordovician and Silurian显示文摘Eospirifer, the oldest known genus of the spiriferide group(Brachiopoda),first appeared on the Zhe-Gan Platform of South China paleoplate during late Katian(Late Ordovician) represented by E.praecursor.It survived the end-Ordovician mass extinction, and reappeared on the Upper Yangtze Platform of South China paleoplate by the end of Ordovician near the upper part of the Normalograptus persculptus Biozone.Starting from the beginning of Silurian,Eospirifer experienced some morphological innovations and expanded its geographical distribution substantially. It reached its species diversity acme and the widest geographic distribution in Wenlock(middle Silurian),with the diversity hotspots in Laurentia,Avalonia, and Baltica.Various shell size frequency curves of E.praecursor under different paleogeographic settings suggest that this pioneer species of Eospirifer, with several macroevolutionary novelties, adopted a range of life strategies to adapt to the changing environments during early spiriferide evolution. There are also some morphological macroevolutionary trends during the evolutionary history of Eospirifer from Late Ordovician to the end of Silurian, such as the ever enlarging shell sizes and the width/length ratios from late Katian to Wenlock, but decreasing apparently of both parameters from Wenlock to Pridoli. | ZHAN RenBin JIN JiSuo LIANG Yan MENG LingKai | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,9: | 0 |
