1Early Paleozoic adakite in the Liuyuan area from the Beishan orogenic belt,NW Gansu Province:Petrogenesis and implication for tectonic setting显示文摘The Liuyuan area,which is located on the southern margin of the Beishan orogenic belt,develops abundant Early Paleozic granitoids.SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating yielded a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of 421±8 Ma for the Liuyuan granodiorite(Zhao Zehui et al.,2007),implying its Late Silurian intrusion.Geochemical compositions showed that the Liuyuan granodiorite is characterized by high SiO2(65.01%-67.31%),A12O3(17.17%-18.05%) and Na2O(Na2O/K2O=1.67-1.87) but low Mg# contents calculated as 100×Mg2+/(Mg2++∑Fe2+) from 28.77 to 31.15,as well as being enriched in Sr(472×10-6-517×10-6) but depleted in Yb(1.2×10-6-1.42×10-6) and Y(12.8×10-6-14×10-6).The REEs are characterized by right-inclined patterns with LREE enrichment,HREE depletion and slightly negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.91-0.97).Major and trace elements indicate that the granodiorite is an adakite.The Nb/Ta values of the granodiorite vary from 10.80 to 18.01 and Nb/U from 6.32 to 10.09,both lying between the values of the crust and the mantle.The rock has low εNd(t) values(-2.5--0.8) and high ISr(0.706321-0.706495).Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions indicate that the Liuyuan granodiorite is possibly derived from partial melting of thickening lower crust,related to mantle underplating.The Yb-Ta and Y+Nb-Rb discriminant diagrams imply the Liuyuan granodiorite intruded in a local extensional tectonic setting during late collision.Combined with previous studies on geochronology,geochemistry and tectonic setting of granitoids,we interprete that the constraint of this adakite in the Liuyuan area indicates that the tectonic setting may have transformed from collision to extension during the Early Devonian.Li, Yanjun Wei, Junhao Tan, Jun Fu, Lebing Liu, Xuntao Kong, Lingjun Jiang, Yongjian Shi, Wenjie 2011Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,2:2

3Constructing bifunctional Co/MoC@N-C catalyst via an in-situ encapsulation strategy for efficient oxygen electrocatalysis显示文摘The large-scale application of Zn-air battery requires the development of efficient,low-cost,and stable bifunctional electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,an electrocatalyst of a Co/Mo C-nanoparticles embedded N-doped carbon(Co/Mo C@N-C)was prepared via the in-situ encapsulation of Co_(2)(CO)_(8)and Mo(CO)6 in ZIF-8 using ball-milling,followed by pyrolysis under an Ar atmosphere.When used as a bifunctional electrocatalyst,the as-prepared Co/Mo C@N-C showed an ORR half-wave potential of 0.824 V in an alkaline medium and an overpotential of only 290 m V for the OER at 10 m A cm^(-2),which was 70 m V lower than Ru O_(2).The Co/Mo C@N-C was also evaluated as a cathode in a solid-state Zn-air battery and delivered a higher peak discharge power density and better cycling stability(over 1600 min)than Pt/C-Ru O_(2).Most importantly,our work provides a new strategy to prepare bifunctional catalysts and promotes their applications in the energy conversion field.Hui Huang Lingjun Kong Ming Liu Jie He Wei Shuang Yunhua Xu Xian-He Bu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:1

5Controlled synthesis of core-shell Fe_(2)O_(3)@N-C with ultralong cycle life for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Development of low-cost electrode materials with long cycle life and high volumetric capacity is im-portant for large-scale applications of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Here,an electrode made from Fe_(2)O_(3) encapsulated with N-doped carbon(Fe_(2)O_(3)@N-C)via ZIF-8 coating and carbonization process is reported.A cavity was generated between the Fe_(2)O_(3)and N-C material during the carbonization process that is conducive to alleviating the volume expansion of Fe_(2)O_(3).As a result,the Fe_(2)O_(3)@N-C composite exhibits a high specific capacity(1064 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g)and cycle stability(803.6 mAh/g at 1.0 A/g after 1100 cycles)when used as the LIB anode.In addition,the influence of carbonization under air on the LIB per-formance was investigated by controllably changing the crystal phase of Fe_(2)O_(3)and the thickness of the carbon layer.This work provides a new method for the design and fabrication of yolk-shell composite electrodes for LIBs and other applications.Hui Huang Lingjun Kong Wei Shuang Wei Xu Jie He Xian-He Bu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2:1

7Multi-feed multi-mode metasurface for independent orbital angular momentum communication in dual polarization显示文摘The wavefront control of spin or orbital angular momentum(OAM)is widely applied in the optical and radio fields.However,most passive metasurfaces provide limited manipulations,such as the spin-locked wavefront,a static OAM combination,or an uncontrollable OAM energy distribution.We propose a reflection-type multi-feed metasurface to independently generate multi-mode OAM beams with dynamically switchable OAM combinations and spin states,while simultaneously,the energy distribution of carrying OAM modes is controllable.Specifically,four elements are proposed to overcome the spin-locked phase limitation by combining propagation and geometric phases.The robustness of these elements is analyzed.By involving the amplitude term and multi-feed technology in the design process,the proposed metasurface can generate OAM beams with a controllable energy distribution over modes and switchable mode combinations.OAM-based radio communication with four independent channels is experimentally demonstrated at 14 GHz by employing a pair of the proposed metasurfaces.The powers of different channels are adjustable by the provided amplitude term,and the maximum crosstalk is−9 dB,proving the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method.Lingjun YANG Sheng SUNI Wei E.I.SHA Long LI Jun HU 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,12:0

9Assessment of solar-assisted electrooxidation of bisphenol AF and bisphenol A on boron-doped diamond electrodes显示文摘Bisphenol(BP)analogues in wastewater effluent and groundwater pose a potential threat to human health due to their ability to disrupt steroidogenesis.A new solar-assisted electrochemical process(SECP)was developed and evaluated for the degradation of BP analogues.The effects of quenchers,current density,initial pH,supporting electrolyte,and aqueous matrix on the removal kinetics of bisphenol AF(BPAF)and bisphenol A(BPA)were investigated.The kinetic constants of BPAF,BPA,and bisphenol S(BPS)in the SECP with irradiation intensity of 500 mW cm^(-2) were 0.017±0.002 min^(-1),0.022±0.002 min^(-1),and 0.012±0.001 min^(-1),respectively.The changes in the degradation rates of BPAF,BPA,and BPS in the presence of quenchers indicated the relative contribution of hydroxyl radical(·OH)oxidation,anodic electrolysis,and singlet(^(1)O_(2))oxygenation in the degradation of BPs in the SECP.The enhanced rate of generation of ·OH and ^(1)O_(2) was observed in the SECP compared with those in the conventional electrochemical system.The identification of the transformation products(TPs)of BPAF demonstrated that hydroxylation,ring cleavage,b-scission,and defluorination were the major processes during the oxidation in the SECP.The conversion to fluoride ions(76%)and mineralization of total organic carbon(72%)in the SECP indicated further degradation of TPs.The results from this study improved our understanding of the degradation of BP analogues in the electrooxidation irradiated by solar light and help to establish the application potential of the SECP for the effective degradation of emerging contaminants in wastewater.Jing Ding Lingjun Bu Bingxin Cui Guanshu Zhao Qingwei Gao Liangliang Wei Qingliang Zhao Dionysios D.Dionysiou 2020Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2020,,3:0
