1MicroRNA-21 as a potential colon and rectal cancer biomarker显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most common malignant diseases worldwide and the prognosis is still poor although much progress has been achieved in recent years.In order to reduce CRC-related deaths,many studies are aimed at identifying novel screeningand prognosis-related biomarkers.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are a class of 18-27-nucleotide single-stranded RNA molecules that regulate gene expression at the posttranscriptional level.It has been demonstrated that miRNAs regulate a variety of physiological functions,including development,cell differentiation,proliferation,and apoptosis.They play important roles in various physiologic and developmental processes and in the initiation and progression of various human cancers.It has been shown that miRNAs can critically regulate tumor cell gene expression,and evidence suggests that they may function as both oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes.In CRC,miRNAs-21 is one of the most important miRNAs and is rapidly emerging as a novel biomarker in CRC,with good potential as a diagnostic and therapeutic target.In this review,we summarize the latest research findings of the clinicopathological relevance of miRNAs-21 in CRC initiation,development,and progress,highlighting its potential diagnostic,prognostic,and therapeutic application,as well as discuss-ing future prospects.Tao Li Mei Ha Leong Bruce Harms Gregory Kennedy Lin Chen 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,34:16

3Regional eco-efficiency evaluation and spatial pattern analysis of the Yangtze River Economic Zone显示文摘The environmental ecology of the Yangtze River Economic Zone(YREZ)faces ecological function decline,deterioration and degradation under intense human activities,long-term development and utilization and its economy has developed rapidly over recent decades.Eco-efficiency is considered as a measure of coordinated development of economy,resources,environment and ecology,and is currently considered a very important issue.In this paper,based on the slack-based measure and data envelope analysis model,we take 129 prefecture-level cities of the YREZ as the study unit and measure the eco-efficiency of the YREZ in 2000,2005,2010 and 2015,which considers undesired output.The evaluation of the status quo of the regional eco-efficiency development was carried out at provincial,prefectural and city scales.The spatial autocorrelation test model and standard deviation ellipse were used to analyze the spatially distributed characteristics and the evolutionary regularity of eco-efficiency.Our study suggested that the eco-efficiency value varied significantly at different spatiotemporal scales and the overall distribution presented an'N-shaped'pattern,the value is the largest downstream and the smallest upstream.Regional eco-efficiency presented certain volatility in growth and a clear spatial positive agglomeration trend from 2000 to 2015.The spatial distribution of each agglomeration area was also significantly different,forming some high-high agglomeration areas at the center of the shaft with Shanghai and surrounding cities,and some low-low agglomeration areas at the center with middle reaches and upstream cities.The low-high over-aggregation and high-low polarization clusters were fewer.At the same time,with the change of the research period,the degree of positive agglomeration became increasingly pronounced and the eco-efficiency gap of the neighborhoodunit reduced.The regional eco-efficiency value of the YREZ presented a spatial distribution pattern in the northeast-southwest axis and the evolutionary pattern of the regional eco-efficiency similarly showed a northeast-southwest orientation.HA Lin TU Jianjun YANG Jianping XU Chunhai PANG Jiaxing LU Debin YAO Zuolin ZHAO Wenyu 2020Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,7:8
4Late Cenozoic Sedimentary Evolution of Pagri-Duoqing Co graben, Southern End of Yadong-Gulu Rift, Southern Tibet显示文摘The north trending rifts in southern Tibet represent the E-W extension of the plateau and confirming the initial rifting age is key to the study of mechanics of these rifts. Pagri-Duoqing Co graben is located at southern end of Yadong-Gulu rift, where the late Cenozoic sediments is predominately composed of fluvio-lacustrine and moraine. Based on the sedimentary composition and structures, the fluviolacustrine could be divided into three facies, namely, lacustrine, lacustrine fan delta and alluvial fan. The presence of paleo-currents and conglomerate components and the provenance of the strata around the graben indicate that it was Tethys Himalaya and High Himalaya. Electron spin resonance(ESR) dating and paleo-magnetic dating suggest that the age of the strata ranges from ca. 1.2 Ma to ca. 8 Ma. Optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) dating showed that moraine in the graben mainly developed from around181-109 ka(late Middle Pleistocene). Combining previous data about the Late Cenozoic strata in other basins, it is suggested that 8-15 Ma may be the initial rifting time. Together with sediment distribution and drainage system, the sedimentary evolution of Pagri could be divided into four stages. The graben rifted at around 15-8 Ma due to the eastern graben-boundary fault resulting in the appearance of a paleolake.Following by a geologically quiet period about 8-2.5 Ma, the paleolake expanded from east to west at around 8-6 Ma reaching its maximum at ca. 6 Ma. Then, the graben was broken at about 2.5 Ma. At last,the development of the glacier separated the graben into two parts that were Pagri and Duoqing Co since the later stages of the Middle Pleistocene. 5Spatiotemporal patterns and influencing factors of human migration networks in China during COVID-19显示文摘The social lockdowns and strict control measures initiated to combat the COVID-19 pandemic have had an impact on human migration.In this study,big data was used to analyze spatial patterns of population migration in 369 Chinese cities during the COVID-19 outbreak and to identify determinants of population migration.We found that the overall migration intensity decreased by 39.87%compared to the same period in 2019 prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.COVID-19 severely affected human migration.The public holidays and weekends have impacted human migration from the perspective of time scale.The spatial pattern of China’s population distribution presents a diamond structure that is dense in the east and sparse in the west,which is bounded by the Hu line and the cities such as Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Chengdu as nodes to connect.There is a strong consistency between the population distribution center and the level of urban development.The urban human migration network is centered on provincial capitals or municipalities at the regional scale,showing a prominent'center-periphery'structure.COVID-19 dispersed the forces of human migration in time and changed the direction of human migration in space.But it did not change the pattern of national migration.The most critical factors influencing mass migration are income levels and traditional culture.This study reveals the impacts of major public health emergencies on conventional migration patterns and provides a scientific theoretical reference for COVID-19 prevention and control.Debin Lu Wu Xiao Guoyu Xu Lin Ha Dongyang Yang 2021Geography and Sustainability2021,2,4:2
