PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX nanoparticles for MRI guided high efficiency chemo-photodynamic therapy in pancreatic cancer through alleviating tumor hypoxia显示文摘As nanomedicine-based clinical strategies have continued to develop, the possibility of combining chemotherapy and singlet oxygen-dependent photodynamic therapy(PDT)to treat pancreatic cancer(PaC)has emerged as a viable therapeutic modality. The efficacy of such an approach, however,is likely to be constrained by the mechanisms of drug release and tumor oxygen levels. In the present study,we developed an Fe(Ⅲ)-complexed porous coordination network(PCN)which we then used to encapsulate PTX(PCN-Fe(Ⅲ)-PTX)nanoparticles(NPs)in order to treat PaC via a combination of chemotherapy and PDT.The resultant NPs were able to release drug in response to both laser irradiation and pH changes to promote drug accumulation within tumors.Furthermore, through a Fe(Ⅲ)-based Fenton-like reaction these NPs were able to convert H2O2 in the tumor site to O2,thereby regulating local hypoxic conditions and enhancing the efficacy of PDT approaches. Also these NPs were suitable for use as a T1-MRI weighted contrast agent, making them viable for monitoring therapeutic efficacy upon treatment. Our results in both cell line and animal models of PaC suggest that these NPs represent an ideal agent for mediating effective MRI-guided chemotherapy-PDT,giving them great promise for the clinical treatment of PaC. | Tao Zhang Zhenqi Jiang Libin Chen Chunshu Pan Shan Sun Chuang Liu Zihou Li Wenzhi Ren Aiguo Wu Pintong Huang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 4
Occurrence and Epidemic Regularity of Wheat Stripe Rust in Nanchong City of Sichuan Province显示文摘In order to realize monitoring and early warning and comprehensive management of wheat stripe rust and to reduce its occurrence in Nanchong City, the occurrence and epidemic regularity of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong was studied by system monitoring and general survey, resistance identification, physiological race monitoring and meteorological data analysis. The initial occurrence location and spreading pathway of Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici( Pst) were first verified;there were two infection peaks of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong and one to three epidemic peaks in fields,in which the occurrence area of the first epidemic peak played a pivotal role in disease prevalence in that year; the cumulative occurrence area in late January was positively correlated with annual occurrence area, with the correlation coefficient of 0. 769; the prediction model for infected field rate, diseased plant rate and annual occurrence area was established. The internal reason for heavy occurrence and prevalence of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong was the decline or loss of wheat resistance against stripe rust,as well as the appearance of physiological races of Pst,which later became dominant races. Large fluctuation of temperature in warm winter and spring and more fog and dew days were external reasons responsible for prevalence of stripe rust. From 2002 to 2014,the accuracy rate of short-term prediction of wheat stripe rust reached 100%,while that of medium-term and long-term prediction reached over 98% and 95%,respectively,5%- 15% higher than that of the years before 1998. | Peng Changjia Bai Tikun Feng Libin Ding Pan Yang Yuheng | 2015 | Plant Diseases and Pests2015,6,6: | 2
Optimal configuration strategy of energy storage system in high photovoltaic penetration micro-grid based on voltage sensitivity analysis显示文摘Energy storage is an effective measure to deal with internal power fluctuation of micro-grid and ensure stable operation, especially in the micro-grid with high photovoltaic(PV) penetration. Its capacity configuration is related to the steady, safety and economy of micro-grid.In order to improve the absorptive capacity of micro-grid on maximizing the use of distributed PV power in micro-grid, and improve the power quality, an optimal energy storage configuration strategy is proposed, which takes many factors into account, such as the topology of micro-grid, the change of irradiance, the load fluctuation and the cable. The strategy can optimize the energy storage allocation model to minimize the storage power capacity and optimize the node configuration. The key electrical nodes are identified by using the sensitivity coefficient of the voltage, and then the model is optimized to simplify calculation. Finally, an example of the European low-voltage micro-grid and a micro-grid system in the laboratory is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can optimize the allocation of capacity and the node of the energy storage system. | 欧阳静 Pan Guobin Chen Jinxin Chai Fushuai Zhang Libin | 2019 | High Technology Letters2019,25,3: | 1
Convex decomposition of concave clouds for the ultra-short-term power prediction of distributed photovoltaic system显示文摘Concave clouds will cause miscalculation by the power prediction model based on cloud features for distributed photovoltaic( PV) plant. The algorithm for decomposing concave cloud into convex images is proposed. Adopting minimum polygonal approximation( MPP) to demonstrate the contour of concave cloud, cloud features are described and the subdivision lines of convex decomposition for the concave clouds are determined by the centroid point scattering model and centroid angle function, which realizes the convex decomposition of concave cloud. The result of MATLAB simulation indicates that the proposed algorithm can accurately detect cloud contour corners and recognize the concave points. The proposed decomposition algorithm has advantages of less time complexity and decomposition part numbers compared to traditional algorithms. So the established model can make the convex decomposition of complex concave clouds completely and quickly, which is available for the existing prediction algorithm for the ultra-short-term power output of distributed PV system based on the cloud features. | 蔡世波 Tong Jianjun Bao Guanjun Pan Guobing Zhang Libin Xu Fang | 2016 | High Technology Letters2016,22,3: | 1
Osteogenic and anti-tumor Cu and Mn-doped borosilicate nanoparticles for syncretic bone repair and chemodynamic therapy in bone tumor treatment显示文摘Critical bone defects caused by extensive excision of malignant bone tumor and the probability of tumor recurrence due to residual tumor cells make malignant bone tumor treatment a major clinical challenge. The present therapeutic strategy concentrates on implanting bone substitutes for defect filling but suffers from failures in both enhancing bone regeneration and inhibiting the growth of tumor cells.Herein,Cu and Mn-doped borosilicate nanoparticles(BSNs)were developed for syncretic bone repairing and anti-tumor treatment, which can enhance bone regeneration through the osteogenic effects of Cu^(2+) and Mn^(3+) ions and meanwhile induce tumor cells apoptosis through the hydroxyl radicals produced by the Fenton-like reactions of Cu^(2+) and Mn^(3+) ions.In vitro study showed that both osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and angiogenesis of endothelial cells were promoted by BSNs,and consistently the critical bone defects of rats were efficiently repaired by BSNs through in vivo evaluation.Meanwhile,BSNs could generate hydroxyl radicals through Fenton-like reactions in the simulated tumor microenvironment, promote the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species, and eventually induce tumor cell apoptosis.Besides, subcutaneous tumors of mice were effectively inhibited by BSNs without causing toxic side effects to normal tissues and organs.Altogether,Cu and Mn-doped BSNs developed in this work performed dual functions of enhancing osteogenesis and angiogenesis for bone regeneration, and inhibiting tumor growth for chemodynamic therapy, thus holding a great potential for syncretic bone repairing and anti-tumor therapy. | Libin Pang Renliang Zhao Jing Chen Jingxin Ding Xiaochen Chen Wenwen Chai Xu Cui Xiaolin Li Deping Wang Haobo Pan | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,6: | 1
Comparing different spatial interpolation methods to predict the distribution of fishes:A case study of Coilia nasus in the Changjiang River Estuary显示文摘Spatial-temporal distribution of marine fishes is strongly influenced by environmental factors. To obtain a more continuous distribution of these variables usually measured by stationary sampling designs, spatial interpolation methods(SIMs)is usually used. However, different SIMs may obtain varied estimation values with significant differences, thus affecting the prediction of fish spatial distribution. In this study, different SIMs were used to obtain continuous environmental variables(water depth, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen(DO),p H,chlorophyll a and chemical oxygen demand(COD))in the Changjiang River Estuary(CRE),including inverse distance weighted(IDW)interpolation, ordinary Kriging(OK)(semivariogram model:exponential(OKE),Gaussian(OKG)and spherical(OKS))and radial basis function(RBF)(regularized spline function(RS)and tension spline function(TS)).The accuracy and effect of SIMs were cross-validated,and two-stage generalized additive model(GAM)was used to predict the distribution of Coilia nasus from 2012 to 2014 in CRE.DO and COD were removed before model prediction due to their autocorrelation coefficient based on variance inflation factors analysis. Results showed that the estimated values of environmental variables obtained by the different SIMs differed(i.e.,mean values, range etc.).Cross-validation revealed that the most suitable SIMs of water depth and chlorophyll a was IDW,water temperature and salinity was RS,and p H was OKG.Further, different interpolation results affected the predicted spatial distribution of Coilia nasus in the CRE.The mean values of the predicted abundance were similar, but the differences between and among the maximum value were large.Studies showed that different SIMs can affect estimated values of the environmental variables in the CRE(especially salinity). These variations further suggest that the most applicable SIMs to each variable will also differ. Thus,it is necessary to take these potential impacts into consideration when studying the relationship between the spatial distribution of fishes and environmental changes in the CRE. | Shaoyuan Pan Siquan Tian Xuefang Wang Libin Dai Chunxia Gao Jianfeng Tong | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,8: | 1

TCP-1,a novel peptide to diagnose early colon cancer显示文摘A nine cyclic peptide(TCP-1)showed excellent specificity for colon cancer.TCP-1 binds with human tumor tissues at early stages and mice tumor with diameters of 1-4 mm,suggesting that TCP-1 may be used for early diagnosis of colon cancer. The mechanism of the targeted binding of TCP-1 to colon cancer was also studied using immunoprecipitation,LC-MS and bioinformatics. After screening and identifying of the possible binding target proteins of TCP-1,keratin,typeⅡcytoskeletal 5 was speculated to be the specific binding target protein of TCP-1 in human tumor tissue.Pharmacokinetics studies were conducted to investigate the target-mediated drug disposition of the new tumor-specific peptide by LC-MS/MS.The tissue distribution study showed that TCP-1 was found only in colon tumors(the target site)in tumor mice did not bind to any other tissues.Conjugating TCP-1 to tumor markedly increased its removal rate from blood circulation but mildly extended its staying time in vivo.In tumor mice,a lower AUC of TCP-1(reduced by almost 35%)and 2-fold higher clearance were found compared to that of normal mice. The proposed metabolic pathway of TCP-1 in the kidney was also determined using LC-MS^(n)-IT-TOF.The high specificity and low toxicity of the peptide may be caused by its extremely tight binding to the targets.Potential applications for future clinical use, including MRI and PET/CT were also explored, and this research may promote the development of colon cancer diagnostic technology research and provide new ideas and technical routes for tumor diagnostic technology. | Hang Yu Baoying Wen Min Huang Ru Feng Libin Pan Manyi Xu Hao Lin Lin Cong Sen Zhang Yan Li Chi-Hin Cho Chongjing Zhang Xiaoguang Chen Yan Wang | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,3: | 0
Versatile flexible micelles integrating mucosal penetration and intestinal targeting for effectively oral delivery of paclitaxel显示文摘The extremely low bioavailability of oral paclitaxel(PTX)mainly due to the complicated gastrointestinal environment, the obstruction of intestinal mucus layer and epithelium barrier. Thus,it is of great significance to construct a coordinative delivery system which can overcome multiple intestinal physicochemical obstacles simultaneously. In this work,a high-density PEGylation-based glycocholic acid-decorated micelles(PTX@GNPs)was constructed by a novel polymer,9-Fluorenylmethoxy carbonyl-poly ethylene glycocholic acid(Fmoc-PEG-GCA).The Fmoc motif in this polymer could encapsulate PTX viaπ-πstacking to form the core of micelles, and the low molecular weight and non-long hydrophobic chain of Fmoc ensures the high-density of PEG.Based on this versatile and flexible carriers,PTX@GNPs possess mucus trapping escape ability due to the flexible PEG,and excellent intestine epithelium targeting attributed to the high affinity of GCA with apical sodium-dependent bile acid transporter. The in vitro and in vivo results showed that this oral micelle could enhance oral bioavailability of PTX,and exhibited similar antitumor efficacy to Taxol injection via intravenous route. In addition, oral PTX@GNPs administered with lower dosage within shorter interval could increase in vivo retention time of PTX,which supposed to remodel immune microenvironment and enhance oral chemotherapy efficacy by synergistic effect. | Chao Liu Wei Liu Yanhong Liu Hongxia Duan Liqing Chen Xintong Zhang Mingji Jin Minhu Cui Xiuquan Quan Libin Pan Jiachun Hu Zhonggao Gao Yan Wang Wei Huang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,8: | 0
Berberine ameliorates chronic kidney disease through inhibiting the production of gut-derived uremic toxins in the gut microbiota显示文摘At present, clinical interventions for chronic kidney disease are very limited, and most patients rely on dialysis to sustain their lives for a long time. However, studies on the gut—kidney axis have shown that the gut microbiota is a potentially effective target for correcting or controlling chronic kidney disease. This study showed that berberine,a natural drug with low oral availability, significantly ameliorated chronic kidney disease by altering the composition of the gut microbiota and inhibiting the production of gut-derived uremic toxins, including p-cresol.Furthermore,berberine reduced the content of pcresol sulfate in plasma mainly by lowering the abundance of g_Clostridium_sensu_stricto_1 and inhibiting the tyrosine—p-cresol pathway of the intestinal flora.Meanwhile, berberine increased the butyric acid producing bacteria and the butyric acid content in feces, while decreased the renal toxic trimethylamine N-oxide.These findings suggest that berberine may be a therapeutic drug with significant potential to ameliorate chronic kidney disease through the gut—kidney axis. | Libin Pan Hang Yu Jie Fu Jiachun Hu Hui Xu Zhengwei Zhang Mengmeng Bu Xinyu Yang Haojian Zhang Jinyue Lu Jiandong Jiang Yan Wang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4: | 0
