1Epigenetic modification regulates both expression of tumor-associated genes and cell cycle progressing in human colon cancer cell lines: Colo-320 and SW1116显示文摘The aim of this study is to assess the effects of DNA methylation and histone acetylation, alone or in combination, on the expression of several tumor-associated genes and cell cycle progression in two established human colon cancer cell lines: Colo-320 and SW1116. Treatments with 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine (5-aza-dC) and trichostatin A, alone or in combination, were applied respectively. The methylation status of the CDKN2A promoter was determined by methylation-specific PCR, and the acetylated status of the histones associated with the p21wAF1 and CDKN2A genes was examined by chromatin immunoprecipitation. The expression of the CDKN2A, p21WAF1, p53, p73, APC, c-myc, c-Ki-ras and survivin genes was detected by real-time RT-PCR and RT-PCR. The cell cycle profile was established by flow cytometry.We found that along with the demethylation of the CDKN2A gene promoter in both cell lines induced by 5-aza-dC alone or in combination with TSA, the expression of both CDKN2A and APC genes increased. The treatment of TSA or sodium butyrate up-regulated the transcription of p21 WAF1 significantly by inducing the acetylation of histones H4 and H3, but failed to alter the acetylation level of CDKN2A-associated histones. No changes in transcription of p53, p73,c-myc, c-Ki-ras and survivin genes were observed. In addition, TSA or sodium butyrate was shown to arrest cells at the G1 phase. However, 5-aza-dC was not able to affect the cell cycle progression. 2Characteristics of land surface thermal-hydrologic processes for different regions over North China during prevailing summer monsoon period显示文摘The observation stations of Northern China are divided into three regions:the arid Northwest China,the Loess Plateau,and the cool Northeast China.The consistencies,differences,and associated mechanisms of land surface thermal-hydrologic processes among the three regions were studied based on the normalization of major variables of land surface thermal-hydrologic processes,using data collected during prevailing summer monsoon period(July and August,2008).It is shown that differences of surface thermal-hydrologic processes are remarkable among the three regions because of different impacts of summer monsoon.Especially their soil wet layers occur at different depths,and the average albedo and its diurnal variations are distinctly different.Surface net short-wave radiation in the Loess Plateau is close to that in the cool Northeast China,but its surface net long-wave radiation is close to that in the arid Northwest China.And the ratio of net radiation to global solar radiation in the cool Northeast China is higher than the other two regions,though its temperature is lower.There are obvious regional differences in the ratios of surface sensible and latent heat fluxes to net radiation for the three regions because of distinct contribution of sensible and latent heat fluxesto land surface energy balance.The three regions are markedly different in the ratio of water vapor flux to pan evaporation,but they are consistent in the ratio of water vapor flux to precipitation.These results not only indicate different influences of climate and environmental factors on land surface thermal-hydrologic processes in the three regions,but also show that summer monsoon is important in the formation and variation of the pattern of land surface thermal-hydrologic processes.ZHANG Qiang ZENG Jian ZHANG LiYang 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,11:28
3Detection of micrometastasis in peripheral blood by multi-sampling in patients with colorectal cancer显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the reverse transcriptase-PCR assay and multiple sampling for detection of cytokeratin-positive cells in peripheral blood of colorectal carcinoma patients and to investigate the clinical significance of micrometastasis in peripheral blood.METHODS: The expression of CK20 mRNA by RT-PCR was investigated in bone marrow, portal vein and peripheral blood in 58 colorectal cancer patients and 12 controls without known cancer. The peripheral blood was sampled twice at intervals of 3 d before operation. All the patients were followed up for one year.RESULTS: There was no positive expression of CK20mRNA in 12 volunteers. The positive expression of CK20mRNA was 77.6% (45/58) in bone marrow, and that in portal vein was 74.1% (43/58) of colorectal carcinoma patients.The positive expression of CK20mRNA cells in peripheral blood rose from 44.8% (26/58) to 69.0% (40/58) (P<0.01).The total positivity of CK20mRNA expression in peripheral blood was similar to the positivity of CK20mRNA in bone marrow and portal vein. The positive rates became higher in later clinical stages than in early stages. The CK20mRNA positive patients had a higher relapse rate within one year than the CK20mRNA negative patients.CONCLUSION: Multiple blood sampling can increase the detection of tumor cells in peripheral blood by RT-PCR for CK20mRNA in colorectal carcinoma patients and it is as sensitive and specific as that of bone marrow and portal vein. 4Enhancement of human ACAT1 gene expression to promote the macrophage-derived foam cell formation by dexamethasone显示文摘In macrophages, the accumulation of cholesteryl esters synthesized by the activated acyl-coenzyme A:cholesterol acyltransferase-1 (ACAT1) results in the foam cell formation, a hallmark of early atherosclerotic lesions. In this study,with the treatment of a glucocorticoid hormone dexamethasone (Dex), lipid staining results clearly showed the large accumulation of lipid droplets containing cholesteryl esters in THP- 1-derived macrophages exposed to lower concentration of the oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL). More notably, when treated together with specific anti-ACAT inhibitors, the abundant cholesteryl ester accumulation was markedly diminished in THP-l-derived macrophages, confirming that ACAT is the key enzyme responsible for intracellular cholesteryl ester synthesis. RT-PCR and Western blot results indicated that Dex caused up-regulation of human ACAT1 expression at both the mRNA and protein levels in THP-1 and THP- 1-derived macrophages. The luciferase activity assay demonstrated that Dex could enhance the activity of human ACAT1 gene P1 promoter, a major factor leading to the ACAT1 activation, in a cell-specific manner.Further experimental evidences showed that a glucocorticoid response element (GRE) located within human ACAT1gene P1 promoter to response to the elevation of human ACAT1 gene expression by Dex could be functionally bound with glucocorticoid receptor (GR) proteins. 5Tongue coating microbiome as a potential biomarker for gastritis including precancerous cascade显示文摘The development of gastritis is associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer. Current invasive gastritis diagnostic methods are not suitable for monitoring progressIn this work based on 78 gastritis patients and 50 healthy individuals, we observed that the variation of tongue-coating microbiota was associated with the occurrenee and development of gastritis. Twenty-one microbial species were identified for differentiating tongue-coating microbiomes of gastritis and healthy individuals. Pathways such as microbial metabolism in diverse environments, biosynthesis of antibiotics and bacterial chemotaxis were up-regulated in gastritis patients. The abundance of Campylobacter concisus was found associated with the gastric precancerous cascade. Furthermore, Campylobacter concisus could be detected in tongue coating and gastric fluid in a validation cohort containing 38 gastritis patients. 6Expression of Dnmt1,demethylase,MeCP2 and methylation of tumor-related genes in human gastric cancer显示文摘AIM: To explore the effect of DNA methyltransferase,demethylase and methyl-CpG binding protein MeCP2 on the expressions and methylation of hMSH2 and protooncogene in human gastric cancer.METHODS: Paired samples of primary gastric cancer and corresponking para-cancerous, non-cancerous gastric mucosae were obtained from surgically resected specimens of 28 patients. TranscriplJon levels of Dnmtl, mbd2, MeCP2, p16^INK4A,hMSH2 and c-myc were detected by using real-time PCR or RT-PCR. Promoter methylation of p16^INK4A, c-myc and hMSH2 genes was assayed by methylation-specific PCR (MSP) and sequencing (mapping). Their relationships were analyzed by Fisher's exact test using the software SPSS.RESULTS: The average mRNA level of Dnmtl gene from cancerous tissue was higher and that of mbd2 gene from cancerous tissue was lower than that from non-cancerous tissue, respectively, mbd2 was lower in cancerous tissue than in non-cancerous tissue in 14 (50.0%) of patients but higher in 3 cases (10.7%) of non-cancerous gastric tissue(P<0.001). c-myc expression was up-regulated in cancer tissues (P<0.05). The up-regulation of mbd2 was found in all patients with hypomethyiated c-myc. The transcriptional levels of p16^IK4A and MeCP2 genes did not display any differenoe between gastric cancerous and matched non-cancerous tissues. 7GYY4137 protects against myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury by attenuating oxidative stress and apoptosis in rats显示文摘Hydrogen sulfide(H_2S) is a gasotransmitter that regulates cardiovascular functions.The present study aimed to determine the protective effect of slow-releasing H_2S donor GYY4137 on myocardial ischemia and reperfusion(I/R) injury and to investigate the possible signaling mechanisms involved.Male Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with GYY4137 at 12.5 mg/(kg·day),25 mg/(kg·day) or 50 mg/(kg·day) intraperitoneally for7 days.Then,rats were subjected to 30 minutes of left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion followed by reperfusion for 24 hours.We found that GYY4137 increased the cardiac ejection fraction and fractional shortening,reduced the ischemia area,alleviated histological injury and decreased plasma creatine kinase after myocardial I/R.Both H_2S concentration in plasma and cystathionine-γ-lyase(CSE) activity in the myocardium were enhanced in the GYY4137 treated groups.GYY4137 also decreased malondialdehyde and myeloperoxidase levels in serum,attenuated superoxide anion level and suppressed phosphorylation of mitogen activated protein kinases in the myocardium after I/R.Meanwhile,GYY4137 increased the expression of Bcl-2 but decreased the expression of Bax,caspase-3 activity and apoptosis in the myocardium.The data suggest that GYY4137 protects against myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury by attenuating oxidative stress and apoptosis.Guoliang Meng Jing Wang Yujiao Xiao Wenli Bai Liping Xie Liyang Shan Philip K Moore Yong Ji 2015The Journal of Biomedical Research2015,29,3:18
8Geomorphological inheritance for loess landform evolution in a severe soil erosion region of Loess Plateau of China based on digital elevation models显示文摘The influence of pre-quaternary underlying terrain on the formation of loess landforms, i.e., the geomorphological inheritance issue, is a focus in studies of loess landforms. On the basis of multi-source information, we used GIS spatial analysis methods to construct a simulated digital elevation model of a pre-quaternary paleotopographic surface in a severe soil erosion area of the Loess Plateau. To reveal the spatial relationship between underlying paleotopography and modern terrain, an XY scatter diagram, hypsometric curve, gradient and concavity of terrain profiles are used in the experiments. The experiments show that the altitude, gradient and concavity results have significant linear positive correlation between both terrains, which shows a relatively strong landform inheritance relationship, particularly in the intact and complete loess deposit areas. Despite the current surface appearing somewhat changed from the original shape of the underlying terrain under different erosion forces, we reveal that the modern terrain generally smoothes the topographic relief of underlying terrain in the loess deposition process. 11Chinese progress in geomorphometry显示文摘Geomorphometry,the science of digital terrain analysis(DTA),is an important focus of research in both geomorphology and geographical information science(GIS).Given that 70% of China is mountainous,geomorphological research is popular among Chinese scholars,and the development of GIS over the last 30 years has led to significant advances in geomorphometric research.In this paper,we review Chinese progress in geomorphometry based on the published literature.There are three major areas of progress:digital terrain modelling methods,DTA methods,and applications of digital terrain models(DTMs).First,traditional vector-and raster-based terrain modelling methods,including the assessment of uncertainty,have received widespread attention.New terrain modelling methods such as unified raster and vector,high-fidelity,and real-time dynamic geographical scene modelling have also attracted research attention and are now a major focus of digital terrain modelling research.Second,in addition to the popular DTA methods based on topographical derivatives,geomorphological features,and hydrological factors extracted from DTMs,DTA methods have been extended to include analyses of the structure of underlying strata,ocean surface features and even socioeconomic spatial structures.Third,DTMs have been applied to fields including global climate change,analysis of various typical regions,lunar surface and other related fields.Clearly,Chinese scholars have made significant progress in geomorphometry.Chinese scholars have had the greatest international impact in areas including high-fidelity digital terrain modelling and DTM-based regional geomorphological analysis,particularly in the Loess Plateau and the Tibetan Plateau regions.LV Guonian XIONG Liyang CHEN Min TANG Guoan SHENG Yehua LIU Xuejun SONG Zhiyao LU Yuqi YU Zhaoyuan ZHANG Ka WANG Meizhen 2017Journal of Geographical Sciences2017,27,11:14
12Key residues of the receptor binding motif in the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 that interact with ACE2 and neutralizing antibodies显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by the novel human coronavirus SARS-CoV-2,is currently a major threat to public health worldwide.The viral spike protein binds the host receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)via the receptor-binding domain(RBD),and thus is believed to be a major target to block viral entry.Both SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV share this mechanism.Here we functionally analyzed the key amino acid residues located within receptor binding motif of RBD that may interact with human ACE2 and available neutralizing antibodies.The in vivo experiments showed that immunization with either the SARS-CoV RBD or SARS-CoV-2 RBD was able to induce strong clade-specific neutralizing antibodies in mice;however,the cross-neutralizing activity was much weaker,indicating that there are distinct antigenic features in the RBDs of the two viruses.This finding was confirmed with the available neutralizing monoclonal antibodies against SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2.It is worth noting that a newly developed SARS-CoV-2 human antibody,HA001,was able to neutralize SARS-CoV-2,but failed to recognize SARS-CoV.Moreover,the potential epitope residues of HA001 were identified as A475 and F486 in the SARS-CoV-2 RBD,representing new binding sites for neutralizing antibodies.Overall,our study has revealed the presence of different key epitopes between SARS-CoV and SARSCoV-2,which indicates the necessity to develop new prophylactic vaccine and antibody drugs for specific control of the COVID-19 pandemic although the available agents obtained from the SARS-CoV study are unneglectable.Chunyan Yi Xiaoyu Sun Jing Ye Longfei Ding Meiqin Liu Zhuo Yang Xiao Lu Yaguang Zhang Liyang Ma Wangpeng Gu Aidong Qu Jianqing Xu Zhengli Shi Zhiyang Ling Bing Sun 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,6:13

14Different roles of PKC and PKA in effect of interferon-y on proliferation and collagen synthesis of fibroblasts显示文摘AIM: To study the signal roles of protein kinase C (PKC) and protein kinase A (PKA) in the influence of interferon-γ (IFN-γ) on proliferation and collagen synthesis of fibroblasts derived from hypertrophic scar (HS-FB) and normal skin (NS-FB). METHODS: HS-FB and NS-FB were cultured and passaged in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM). Activity of PKC and PKA were assayed by transferring phosphorus (32p) into substrate after treatment with IFN-γ 1000 kU/L at 10, 30, 60, and 120 min. Cell proliferation was determined with MTT assay. The collagen synthesis was measured with [3H]proline incorporation and Type Ⅲ pre-collagen was determinedwith radioimmunoassay. RESULTS: After exposure to IFN-γ 1000 kU/L for 30 min, PKC activity of HS-FB and NS-FB increased from 2.57±0.14 and 2.13±0.12 nmol·min^-1·g^-1 of control to 3.75±0.19 and 3.36±0.16 nmol·min^-1·g^-1 respectively (P<0.05). After exposure to IFN-γ 1000 kU/L for 60 and 120 rain, PKA activities of HS-FB increased gradually from 0.82±0.04 nmol·min^-1·g^-1 of control to 1.03±0.05 and 1.23±0.06 nmol·min^-1·g^-1, respectively (P<0.05). The PKA activities of NS-FB also increased from 0.52±0.03 nmol·min^-1·g^-1 of control to 0.68±0.03 and 0.89±0.05nmol·min^-1·g^-1, respectively (P<0.05). The proliferation and collagen synthesis were enhanced by PKC activator (containing phosphatidylserine, diacylglycerol and Ca^2+) and PKA inhibitor [H7250 μmol/L, 1-(5-isoquinolinylsulfonyl)-2-methyl piperazine], and inhibited by PKC inhibior (GF109 250 μmol/L) and PKA activator (cAMP 25 μmol/L)(P<0.01). GF109 abrogated increased proliferation and collagen synthesis by IFN-γ but it did not affect the inhibitory effects of IFN-γ. At 120 min H7 reversed the inhibitory functions of IFN-γ. 15Correlation of tumor-positive ratio and number of perigastric lymph nodes with prognosis of patients with surgically-removed gastric carcinoma显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the tumor-positive ratio and number of perigastric lymph nodes as prognostic factors of gastric carcinoma in surgically-treated patients.METHODS:The postoperative survival of 169 patients with gastric cancer who were performed D2 curative gastrectomy was analyzed with regard to its lymph node metastasis ratio and number.Meanwhile correlation of tumor-positive ratio and number of perigastric lymph nodes with pathological parameters of these patients was studied.RESULTS:The overall 5-year survival rate of all the patients studied was 29.6%.The 5-year cumulative survival rate in patients with 1%-20% and more than 20% of tumor-positive lymph nodes was 70.6% and 12.0% respectively,and 46.6% and 17.4% in those with 1-5 and more than 5 of tumorpositive lymph nodes respectively, which were significantly decreased with the increment of involved lymph nodes assessed by either numbers or ratio (P<0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that both the positive ratio and number of tumor-involved lymph nodes were sensitive prognostic factors in these surgically-treated patients, which were also significantly correlated with tumor size and depth of submucosal invasion (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Tumor-positive ratio and number of perigastric lymph nodes are associated with cancer progression and five-year survival rate, and may serve as valuable prognostic factors of gastric cancer in surgically-treated patients.Yong-BinDing Guo-YuChen Jian-GuoXia Xi-WeiZang Hong-YuYang LiYang Xue-XianLiu 2004World Journal of Gastroenterology2004,10,2:11
16Paleotopographic controls on modern gully evolution in the loess landforms of China显示文摘The inhomogeneous and non-flat paleotopography in a depositional landform area profoundly controls the process of modern gully evolution and shapes the structure of a gully network.However,this controlling effect of paleotopography on modern gully evolution is mostly ignored because of the difficulties in paleotopography reconstruction.In this study,loess area in China is selected as case area for its typical depositional landform area and inhomogeneous and non-flat paleotopography during the Quaternary.The paleotopography underlying loess is considered while evaluating its controlling effects on the gully evolutionary process.On the basis of the geophysical prospecting,detailed geological information,and high-resolution digital elevation model,we reconstruct the pre-Quaternary paleotopographic surface in the case area.Comparative analysis is conducted to reveal the modern gully evolution in relation to the paleotopography.Results show that the concave area of the paleotopography acts as the basement of the high-order modern gully evolution in the hilly-gully area,although this concave area can be covered and buried by the loess depositional process during the Quaternary.A significant controlling effect of paleotopography on high-order modern gully evolution can be observed in a depositional landform with a hilly-gully underlying topography,whereas a relatively weak controlling effect exists in a flat underlying topographical area because of the strong horizontal shift effect of gully formation process.Several low-order modern gullies also exist and limit the controlling effect of paleotopography.These results reveal a controlled high-order modern gully evolutionary process and a rather dynamic low-order modern gully evolutionary process in the hilly-gully area.These results also help us understand the variations in different modern gully evolution in relation to paleotopography and the different management schemes for soil conservation and ecological restoration during the gully evolutionary process.XIONG LiYang TANG GuoAn ZHU A-Xing YUAN BaoYin LU BinYing DANG TianMin 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,3:11
17Energy harvesting textiles for a rainy day:woven piezoelectrics based on melt-spun PVDF microfibres with a conducting core显示文摘Recent advances in ubiquitous low-power electronics call for the development of light-weight and flexible energy sources.The textile format is highly attractive for unobtrusive harvesting of energy from e.g.,biomechanical movements.Here,we report the manufacture and characterisation of fully textile piezoelectric generators that can operate under wet conditions.We use a weaving loom to realise textile bands with yarns of melt-spun piezoelectric microfibres,that consist of a conducting core surrounded byβ-phase poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF),in the warp direction.The core-sheath constitution of the piezoelectric microfibres results in a—for electronic textiles—unique architecture.The inner electrode is fully shielded from the outer electrode(made up of conducting yarns that are integrated in the weft direction)which prevents shorting under wet conditions.As a result,and in contrast to other energy harvesting textiles,we are able to demonstrate piezoelectric fabrics that do not only continue to function when in contact with water,but show enhanced performance.The piezoelectric bands generate an output of several volts at strains below one percent.We show that integration into the shoulder strap of a laptop case permits the continuous generation of four microwatts of power during a brisk walk.This promising performance,combined with the fact that our solution uses scalable materials and well-established industrial manufacturing methods,opens up the possibility to develop wearable electronics that are powered by piezoelectric textiles.Anja Lund Karin Rundqvist Erik Nilsson Liyang Yu Bengt Hagstrom Christian Muller 2018npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1:10
18Stable Isotopes in Precipitation in Xilin River Basin,Northern China and Their Implications显示文摘Under the increasing pressure of water shortage and steppe degradation,information on the hydrological cycle in steppe region in Inner Mongolia,China is urgently needed.An intensive investigation of the temporal variations ofδD andδ1 8O in precipitation was conducted in 2007-2008 in the Xilin River Basin,Inner Mongolia in the northern China.TheδD andδ1 8O values for 54 precipitation samples range from+1.1‰to-34.7‰and-3.0‰to -269‰,respectively.This wide range indicates that stable isotopes in precipitation are primarily controlled by different condensation mechanisms as a function of air temperature and varying sources of vapor.The relationship between δD andδ1 8 O defined a well constrained line given by δD =7.89 δ18O+9.5,which is nearly identical to the Meteoric Water Line in the northern China.The temperature effect is clearly displayed in this area.The results of backward tra- jectory of each precipitation day show that the vapor of the precipitation in cold season(October to March)mainly originates from the west while the moisture source is more complicated in warm season(April to September).A light precipitation amount effect existes at the precipitation event scale in this area.The vapor source of precipitation with higher d-excesses are mainly from the west wind or neighboring inland area and precipitation with lower d-excesses from a monsoon source from the southeastern China.WU Jinkui DING Yongjian YE Baisheng YANG Qiyue HOU Dianjiong XUE Liyang 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,5:9
19Clinical effect of traditional Chinese spinal orthopedic manipulation in treatment of chondromalacia patellae显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese spinal orthopedic manipulation(TCSOM) in treating chondromalacia patellae(CP).METHODS: Sixty cases of CP patients were randomly assigned to a TCSOM group and a Celecoxib group according to the random number table method. All patients in the TCSOM group were treated with a maximum of 10 spinal manipulations and rehabilitation training of quadriceps femoris. The symptoms before and after treatment were assessed with visual analog scale(VAS) and Kujala functional knee scoring system(KFKSS). A symptom improvement rate(SIR) was implemented in order to evaluate the effects of the treatments.RESULTS: The symptoms of 16 patients in the TC-SOM group quickly resolved after the first spinal manipulation and 8 cases were significantly improved. The VAS scores in the TCSOM group after 4weeks of treatment were significantly lower than those in the Celecoxib group. The KFKSS scores in the TCSOM group after 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those in the Celecoxib group. Side effects of the treatment were not reported. 20Association of differentially expressed genes with activation of mouse hepatic stellate cells by high-density cDNA mircoarray显示文摘AIM: To characterize the gene expression profiles associated with activation of mouse hepatic stellate cell (HSC) and provide novel insights into the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis. METHODS: Mice HSCs were isolated from BALB/c mice by in situ perfusion of collagenase and pronase and singlestep density Nycodenz gradient. Total RNA and mRNA of quiescent HSC and culture-activated HSC were extracted, quantified and reversely transcripted into cDNA. cDNAs from activated HSC were labeled with Cy5 and cDNAs from the quiescent HSC were labeled with Cy3, which were mixed with equal quantity, then hybridized with cDNA chips containing 4 000 genes. Chips were washed, scanned and analyzed. Increased expression of 4 genes and decreased expression of one gene in activated HSC were confirmed by reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). RESULTS: A total of 835 differentially expressed genes were identified by cDNA chip between activated and quiescent HSC, and 465 genes were highly expressed in activated HSC. The differentially expressed genes included those involved in protein synthesis, cell-cycle regulation, apoptosis, and DNA damage response. CONCLUSION: Many genes implicated in intrahepatic inflammation, fibrosis and proliferation were up-regulated in activated HSC. cDNA microarray is an effective technique in screening for differentially expressed genes betweentwo different situations of the HSC.
