The assessment of extactable tidal energy and the effect of tidal energy turbine deployment on the hydrodynamics in Zhoushan显示文摘In this study, we construct one 2–dimensional tidal simulation, using an unstructured Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Model(FVCOM). In the 2–D model, we simulated the tidal turbines through adding additional bottom drag in the element where the tidal turbines reside. The additional bottom drag was calculated from the relationship of the bottom friction dissipation and the rated rotor efficiency of the tidal energy turbine. This study analyzed the effect of the tidal energy turbine to the hydrodynamic environment, and calculated the amount of the extractable tidal energy resource at the Guishan Hangmen Channel, considering the rotor wake effect. | HOU Fang BAO Xianwen LI Benxia LIU Qianqian | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,5: | 5
Three-dimensional numerical simulation of obfique wave action on vertical walls显示文摘A three-dimensional numerical model based on the potential theory was developed to study the oblique wave action on vertical walls. A source term inside the domain was used to generate incident waves and outgoing waves were dissipated by sponge layers and trans- mitted by radiation boundaries. The finite difference method was used to solve the governing equations and boundary conditions in the regular transformed domain in σ-coordinate. Satisfactory agreements between the numerical predictions and experimental results of wave force were obtained. It is concluded that the maximum wave force acting on the vertical walls is induced by the obliquely inci- dent waves rather than the normally incident waves. | LI Benxia YU Xiping YU Yuxiu | 2006 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2006,25,1: | 4
Myeloid-derived suppressor cells as immunosuppressive regulators and therapeutic targets in cancer显示文摘Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)are a heterogenic population of immature myeloid cells with immunosuppressive effects, which undergo massive expansion during tumor progression. These cells not only support immune escape directly but also promote tumor invasion via various non-immunological activities.Besides, this group of cells are proved to impair the efficiency of current antitumor strategies such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy. Therefore,MDSCs are considered as potential therapeutic targets for cancer therapy.Treatment strategies targeting MDSCs have shown promising outcomes in both preclinical studies and clinical trials when administrated alone,or in combination with other anticancer therapies. In this review,we shed new light on recent advances in the biological characteristics and immunosuppressive functions of MDSCs.We also hope to propose an overview of current MDSCs-targeting therapies so as to provide new ideas for cancer treatment. | Kai Li Houhui Shi Benxia Zhang Xuejin Ou Qizhi Ma Yue Chen Pei Shu Dan Li Yongsheng Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11: | 2
Wave decomposition phenomenon and spectrum evolution over submerged bars显示文摘Wave decomposition phenomenon and spectrum evolution over submerged bars are investigated by a previously developed numerical model. First, the computed free surface displacements of regular waves at various locations are compared with the available experimental data to confirm the validity of the numerical model, and satisfactory agreements are obtained. In addition, variations of decomposition characteristics with incident wave parameters and the change of energy spectrum for regular waves are also studied. Then the spectrum evolution of irregular waves over submerged bars, as well as the influence of incident peak wave period and the steepness of the front slope of the bar on spectrum evolution, is investigated. Wave decomposition and spectral shape are found to be significantly influenced by the incident wave conditions. When the upslope of the bar becomes 1:2, the length of the slope becomes shorter and will not benefit the generation of high frequency energy, so spectrum evolution is not significant. | LI Benxia YU Xiping | 2009 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,3: | 2

Concentration modulation laser spectroscopy of the C_2 molecule Swan (d^3Π_g←a^3Π_u) system显示文摘The rotational structure of the C 2 molecule Swan (d 3 Π g←a 3 Π u) system (0,1) band has been recorded by optical heterodyne magnetic rotation enhanced concentration modulation laser spectroscopy in the range of 17730~17880 cm -1 . The C 2 molecule is generated by an electric discharge through a mixture of acetylene and argon gas and a well resolved spectrum is recorded with an absolute accuracy of 0.007 cm -1 . Sensitivity of the method enables us to observe not only the traditionally observed branches of Δ Ω =0 sub bands but also some Δ Ω ≠0 transitions, providing a slight improvement in the accuracy of some molecular constants of the two states. The theoretical spectra are simulated using the effective Hamiltonian of Brown and Merer and directly fitted to observed spectra; rotational parameters are derived from this fit for the two 3Π states. | KANIKI Kakule 1,2 , YANG Xiaohua 1, GUO Yingchun 1, YU Shanshan 1, LI Benxia 1, LIU Yuyan 1 and CHEN Yangqin 1*(1. | 16 | Accelerating solar driven CO_(2) reduction via sulfur-doping boosted water dissociation and proton transfer显示文摘Exploring efficient photocatalysts for solar driven CO_(2) reduction with water(H_(2)O)as a proton donor is highly imperative but remains a great challenge because the synchronous enhancement of CO_(2) activation,H_(2)O dissociation and proton transfer is hardly achieved on a photocatalyst.Particularly, the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation impedes the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction involving multiple proton–electron coupling transfer processes.Herein,a sulfur-doped BiOCl(S-BiOCl)photocatalyst with abundant oxygen vacancies(OV)is developed, which exhibits broadband-light harvesting across solar spectrum and distinct photothermal effect due to photochromism. For photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction with H_(2)O in a gas–solid system, the high CO yield of 49.76μmol·g_(cat)^(-1)·h^(-1) with 100%selectivity is achieved over the S-BiOCl catalyst under a simulated sunlight. The H_(2)O-assisted CO_(2) reduction reaction on S-BiOCl catalyst is triggered by photocatalysis and the photothermal heating further enhances the reaction rate. The kinetic isotope experiments indicate that the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation affects the whole photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction process. The presence of oxygen vacancies promotes the adsorption and activation of H_(2)O and CO_(2),and the doped S sites play a crucial role in boosting H_(2)O dissociation and accelerating the dynamic migration of hydrogen species. As a result, the ingenious integration of OV defects,S sites and photothermal effect in S-BiOCl catalyst conjointly contributes to the significant improvement in photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction performance. | Ke Yan Liang Chen Yangguang Hu Ting Wang Cong Chen Chao Gao Youju Huang Benxia Li | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0
Promoting CO_(2) and H_(2)O activation on O-vacancy regulated In-Ti dual-sites for enhanced CH_(4) photo-production显示文摘Engineering the specific active sites of photocatalysts for simultaneously promoting CO_(2)and H_(2)O activation is important to achieve the efficient conversion of CO_(2)to hydrocarbon with H_(2)O as a proton source under sunlight.Herein,we delicately design the In/TiO_(2)-VOphotocatalyst by engineering In single atoms(SAs)and oxygen vacancies(VOs)on porous TiO_(2).The relation between structure and performance of the photocatalyst is clarified by both experimental and theoretical analyses at the atomic levels. The In/TiO_(2)-VOphotocatalyst furnish a high CH_(4)production rate up to 35.49μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)with a high selectivity of 91.3%under simulated sunlight, while only CO is sluggishly generated on TiO_(2)-VO.The combination of in situ spectroscopic analyses with theoretical calculations reveal that the VOsites accelerate H_(2)O dissociation and increase proton feeding for CO_(2)reduction.Furthermore,the VOregulated In-Ti dual sites enable the formation of a stable adsorption conformation of In-C-O-Ti intermediate, which is responsible for the highly selective reduction of CO_(2)to CH_(4).This work demonstrates a new strategy for the development of effective photocatalysts by coupling metal SA sites with the adjacent metal sites of support to synergistically enhance the activity and selectivity of CO_(2)photoreduction. | Cong Chen Liang Chen Yangguang Hu Ke Yan Ting Wang Youju Huang Chao Gao Junjie Mao Shoujie Liu Benxia Li | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11: | 0
A PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor enhances efficacy of CAR-T cell for pleural and peritoneal metastasis显示文摘Pleural and peritoneal metastasis accompanied by malignant pleural effusion(MPE)or malignant ascites(MA)is frequent in patients with advanced solid tumors that originate from the lung, breast, gastrointestinal tract and ovary.Regional delivery of CAR-T cells represents a new strategy to control tumor dissemination in serous cavities. However, malignant effusions constitute an immune-suppressive environment that potentially induces CAR-T cell dysfunction. Here,we demonstrated that the anti-tumor cytotoxicity of conventional 2nd-generation CAR-T cells was significantly inhibited by both the cellular and non-cellular components of MPE/MA,which was primarily attributed to impaired CAR-T cell proliferation and cytokine production in MPE/MA environment.Interestingly,we found that PD-L1 was widely expressed on freshly-isolated MPE/MA cells.Based on this feature,a novel PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor(PD-L1.BB CSR)was designed, which can bind to PD-L1,switching the inhibitory signal into an additional 4-1BB signal. When co-expressed with a 2nd-generation CAR,PD-L1.BB CSR-modified CAR-T cells displayed superior fitness and enhanced functions in both culture medium and MPE/MA environment, causing rapid and durable eradication of pleural and peritoneal metastatic tumors in xenograft models.Further investigations revealed elevated expressions of T-cell activation, proliferation, and cytotoxicity-related genes, and we confirmed that PD-L1 scFv and 4-1BB intracellular domain, the two important components of PD-L1.BB CSR,were both necessary for the functional improvements of CAR-T cells.Overall, our study shed light on the clinical application of PD-L1.BB CSR-modified dual-targeting CAR-T cells.Based on this study,a phase I clinical trial was initiated in patients with pleural or peritoneal metastasis(NCT04684459). | Qizhi Ma Xia He Benxia Zhang Fuchun Guo Xuejin Ou Qiyu Yang Pei Shu Yue Chen Kai Li Ge Gao Yajuan Zhu Diyuan Qin Jie Tang Xiaoyu Li Meng Jing Jian Zhao Zeming Mo Ning Liu Yao Zeng Kexun Zhou Mingyang Feng Weiting Liao Wanting Lei Qiu Li Dan Li Yongsheng Wang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,12: | 0
