1Intermetallic Compounds in the Banded Structure and Their Effect on Mechanical Properties of Al/Mg Dissimilar Friction Stir Welding Joints显示文摘Dissimilar friction stir welding(FSW) between aluminum and magnesium alloy was performed, using various tool rotational speed(TRS) at a ?xed travel speed, with tool offset to aluminum to investigate the formation of intermetallic compounds(IMCs) in the banded structure(BS) zone and their effect on mechanical properties. Large quantities of IMCs, in the form of alternating bands of particles or lamellae, were found in the BS zone, where drastic material intermixing occurred during FSW. The BS microstructural characters in terms of the morphology of the bands and the quantity and distribution of IMC particles varied with TRS. All welds exhibited brittle fracture mode with their fracture paths propagating mainly in/along the IMCs in the BS. It is shown that these BS microstructural characters have signi?cant effect on the mechanical properties of the joints. 2Effects of Ziyin Jianghuo Ningxin decoction plus dehydroepiandrosterone and femoston in treatment of patients with menopausal symptoms显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the therapeutic effect of Ziyin Jianghuo Ningxin Decoction(ZYJHNXD) plus dehydroepiandrosterone(DHEA) and menopausalhormone therapy(MHT) in patients suffering from menopausal symptoms identified as, in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, symptom pattern of Yin deficiency with hyperactive fire.METHODS: Totally 180 postmenopausal women aged 40 to 60 years were assigned into four groups and accepted femoston, femoston with ZYJHNXD,femoston with DHEA, femoston with ZYJHNXD and DHEA therapies, respectively, for three months.Common questionnaire-based measure instruments included modified Kupperman index(MKI),Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety(HAMA), and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD). Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), estradiol(E2), 5-hydroxyindole-3-acetic acid(5-HIAA), norepinephrine(NE), dopamine(DA),bone mineral density(BMD), and sleep quality were evaluated before and three months after the treatments.RESULTS: In all four groups, the scores of MKI, HAMA, HAMD and the levels of FSH, LH decreased significantly(P < 0.05) after the treatment, while the levels of E2, 5-HIAA, NE, and DA showed obvious elevation(P < 0.05). 16High-Throughput Powder Diffraction Using White X-Ray Beam and a Simulated Energy-Dispersive Array Detector显示文摘High-throughput powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)with white X-ray beam and an energy-dispersive detector array is demonstrated in this work on a CeO;powder sample on a bending magnet synchrotron beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF),using a simulated energy-dispersive array detector consisting of a spatially scanning silicon-drift detector(SDD).Careful analysis and corrections are applied to account for various experimental hardware-related and diffraction angle-related factors.The resulting diffraction patterns show that the relative strength between different diffraction peaks from energy-dispersive XRD(EDXRD)spectra is consistent with that from angle-resolved XRD(ARXRD),which is necessary for analyzing crystal structures for unknown samples.The X-ray fluorescence(XRF)signal is collected simultaneously.XRF counts from all pixels are integrated directly by energy,while the diffraction spectra are integrated by d-spacing,resulting in a much improved peak strength and signal-to-noise(S/N)ratio for the array detector.In comparison with ARXRD,the diffraction signal generated by a white X-ray beam over monochromic light under the experimental conditions is about 104 times higher.The full width at half maximum(FWHM)of the peaks in q-space is found to be dependent on the energy resolution of the detector,the angle span of the detector,and the diffraction angle.It is possible for EDXRD to achieve the same or even smaller FWHM as ARXRD under the energy resolution of the current detector if the experimental parameters are properly chosen.Xiaoping Wang Weiwei Dong Peng Zhang Haoqi Tang Lanting Zhang Tieying Yang Peng Liu Hong Wang X.-D.Xiang 2022Engineering2022,8,3:0

18Dynamic Channel Allocation Aided Random Access for SDN-Enabled LEO Satellite IoT显示文摘Considering the global demands on Internet of things(IoT),and the limitation of constructing base stations for the terrestrial IoT,the satellite IoT approach is a realizable and powerful supplement to the terrestrial IoT.Meanwhile,in order to dynamically access the available terrestrial and satellite networks,IoT terminals may have the ability of accessing both the terrestrial IoT and the satellite IoT,leading to great challenges on the access-control of the IoT.In this paper,we design a satellite-terrestrial integrated architecture for the IoT relying on the software defined network(SDN).Moreover,based on this architecture,we further propose a dynamic channel resource allocation algorithm to control the access of the IoT terminals with different priorities.Simulation results show that the demands on the probabilities of successful access of IoT terminals with various priorities can be simultaneously met if the access of the IoT terminals are well controlled.Lanting Yan Xiaojin Ding Gengxin Zhang 2021Journal of Communications and Information Networks2021,6,2:0
19Inhibition of Abnormal Grain Growth in Stir Zone via In‑Situ Intermetallic Particle Formation During Friction Stir Welding of AA6061显示文摘Abnormal grain growth(AGG)has been widely observed in many friction stir welded(FSWed)joints during post-weld heat treatment(PWHT).The coarse grain structure not only reduces the strength of the joint but also limits its usage in superplastic forming.Several methods have been reported in previous studies to inhibit AGG,but all of them can only mitigate AGG.Complete inhibition of AGG was not achieved.In the current research,AGG was widely observed during the PWHT of friction stir welded AA6061.Multi-pass FSW enhanced the thermal stability of the as-welded grain structure but did not eliminate the occurrence of AGG.A new welding method was developed with the ball-milled Al–Ti powder mixture introduced into the stir zone and proved effective in inhibiting AGG in FSWed AA6061 during PWHT.The adoption of 5-pass FSW with an alternate rotation mode succeeded in producing an AGG-free sample.Microscopic characterizations conducted in the stir zone showed an evolution of Al–Ti powder mixture into different particle formations and Al3Ti new phase.Quantitative analysis of the second phase particles(SPPs)in the stir zone confirmed the increases in both particle number and average size.The quantitative results fit well with Humphreys’grain growth model,which theoretically explains the mechanism for AGG inhibition,i.e.,the significantly enhanced particle pinning effect.Xin Zou Cunli Liu Muyang Deng Ji Chen Lanting Zhang Ke Chen 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,4:0
20Effects of micropore structure of activated carbons on the CH_(4)/N_(2) adsorption separation and the enrichment of coal-bed methane显示文摘In the process of enriching CH4 from coal-bed methane,the separation of CH_(4)/N_(2)is very difficult to accomplish by an adsorption process due to the similar physico-chemical properties of the two molecules.A series of coconut-shell-based granular activated carbons(GACs)with different pore structures were prepared,which were characterized by different methods.The influence of the pore structure on the separation properties was investigated in detail.The results show that one of the carbons prepared(GAC-3)has high CH4 equilibrium adsorption capacity(3.28 mol·kg–1)at 298 K and equilibrium separation coefficient(3.95).The CH_(4)/N_(2)separation on the GACs is controlled by adsorption equilibrium as compared with the dynamic effect.Taking the specific surface area,for example,the common characterization index of the pore structure is not enough to judge the separation performance of the GACs.However,the microstructure of carbon materials plays a decisive role for CH_(4)/N_(2)separation.According to the pore-structure analysis,the effective pore size for the CH_(4)/N_(2)separation is from 0.4 to 0.9 nm,with the optimum effect occurring in the range of 0.6–0.7 nm,followed by the range of 0.7~0.9 nm.Also,a four-bed vacuum pressure swing adsorption process was adopted to evaluate the performance of GACs for the separation of CH4 from nitrogen.Jinhua Zhang Lanting Li Qiang Qin 2021Clean Energy2021,5,2:0
