1Relationship between the simulated East Asian westerly jet biases and seasonal evolu-tion of rainbelt over eastern China显示文摘A possible reason for the unreasonable simula- tion of maximum rainfall location, intensity and seasonal evolution over eastern China in CCM3 has been investigated. The analyses focus on the relationship between the simulated East Asian subtropical westerly jet biases and the seasonal evolution of rainbelt over eastern China. Comparisons of the simulated and observed precipitation distributions indicate that the simulated maximum rainfall location, intensity and seasonal evolution are inconsistent with reality. The simu- lated westerly jet center is located to the north of 40°N, which shifts eastward and northward and strengthens, com- pared with NCEP/NCAR reanalysis. The correlation analysis shows that there exists a significant positive correlation be- tween the maximum rainfall amount and zonal wind at 200 hPa over the Great Bend of the Huanghe River. Thus the simulated unrealistic heavy precipitation in the inland area of western China is related to the biases in the location and intensity of the East Asian subtropical westerly jet. Further analysis indicates that the temperature differences from south to north in the lower troposphere and the larger sensi- ble heating over the southeast Tibetan Plateau are responsi- ble for the westerly jet location and intensity biases. 2Preparation of core-shell magnetic Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-dithiocarbamate nanoparticle and its application for the Ni^(2+), Cu^(2+) removal显示文摘A novel magnetic nanoparticles-based dithiocarbamate absorbent(Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-DTC) with core-shell structure was synthesized under mild conditions and used in aqueous solution Ni^(2+) and Cu^(2+) ions treatment. The structure, morphology and magnetic properties of the adsorbent were characterized by Xray diffraction(XRD), fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-DTC exhibited a typical superparamagnetic with a saturation magnetization value of52.7 emu/g, which could be rapidly separated from aqueous solution under external magnetic field. We investigated the effects of solution p H, adsorption time, and the initial concentration of heavy metal ions on the adsorption of Ni^(2+) and Cu^(2+). The adsorption equilibrium times of Ni^(2+)and Cu^(2+) on Fe3 O_4@SiO_2-DTC were reached at 15 min and 90 min, respectively. The adsorption kinetic data were fitted to the pseudosecond-order model, and the adsorption data were consistent with the Frenudlich isotherm model. When the initial concentration of heavy metal ions was 250 mg/L, the maximum adsorption capacity of Ni^(2+) and Cu^(2+) at room temperature was 235.23 mg/g and 230.49 mg/g, respectively. In addition, we discussed the plausible adsorption mechanism. 15Revisiting the ionic diffusion mechanism in Li_(3)PS_(4) via the joint usage of geometrical analysis and bond valence method显示文摘Inorganic solid electrolytes have obvious advantages on safety and electrochemical stability compared to organic liquid electrolytes,but the advance on high ionic conductivity of typical electrolytes is still undergoing.Although the first-principles calculation in the ion migration simulation is an important strategy to develop high-performance solid electrolyte,the process is very time-consuming.Here,we propose an effective method by combining the geometrical analysis and bond valance sum calculation to obtain an approximate minimum energy path preliminarily,in parallel to pave the way for the interoperability of low-precision and high-precision ion transport calculation.Taking a promising electrolyte Li_(3)PS_(4) as an example,we revisit its Li-ionic transport behavior.Our calculated Li-ion pathways and the activation energies(the corresponding values:1.09 eV vs.0.88 eV vs.0.86 eV)in γ-,β- and α-Li_(3)PS_(4) are consistent with the ones obtained from the first-principles calculations.The variations of the position of P-ions lead the rearrangement of the host PS_(4) tetrahedron,affecting the diffusion positions of Li-ions and further enabling high Li^(+) conductivity in β-Li_(3)PS_(4).Li Pan Liwen Zhang Anjiang Ye Shuting Chi Zheyi Zou Bing He Lanli Chen Qian Zhao Da Wang Siqi Shi 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4:0
16Can overexpression of TGF-β1 gene change the sex ratio in transgenic mice?显示文摘Mouse TGF-β1 gene was microinjected into male pronuclei of F2 hybrid fertilized eggs obtained by mating CSJLF1 and C57BL/6J inbred strains to generate transgenic mice with over-expressed TGF-β1 gene. The rate of founder production is 31% and Southern blot analysis of founder mice tail DNAS gave an integration efficiency of 33%. TGF-β1 gene could be stably integrated to the chromosomes of transgenic mice and transmitted to their progeny at a rate of 33% in the second generation. Dot blot analysis of tail RNA of some transgenic mice indicated a moderate expression of the transgene. The most interesting finding of the present work is the striking deviation from the normal male:female sex ratio in transgenic mice,with an average ratio of 6.7:1.
