1Chemical composition of Rosmarinus and Lavandula essential oils and their insecticidal effects on Orgyia trigotephras(Lepidoptera,Lymantriidae)显示文摘Objective:To evaluate toxic activities of essential oils obtained from Rosmarinus officinalis and Lavandula stoechas against the fourth larval instars of Orgyia trigotephras.Methods:A total of 1 200 larvae were divided into three groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ.Group Ⅰ was to investigate the effect of extracted essential oils from these aromatic plants as gastric disturbance.Bacillus thuringiensis and ethanol were used as control group.Group Ⅱ was used as contact action and Group Ⅲ was used as fumigant action.Oecis and ethanol were used as control group.During the three experiments,the effect of essential oils on larvae was assessed.Results:The chemical composition of essential oils from two medicinal plants was determined and,their insecticidal effects on the fourth larval slate of Orgyia trigotephras were assessed.The two simples presented an insecticidal activity,nevertheless Rosmarinus officinalis essential oil was less efficient compared to Lavandula stoechas one are discussed.Conclusions:The relationship between the chemical composition and the biologieal activities is confirmed by the present findings.Therefore the potential uses of these essential oils as bioinsecticides can he considered as an alternative to the use of synthetic products.Ben Slimane Badreddine Ezzine Olfa Dhahri Samir Chograni Hnia Ben Jamaa Mohamed Lahbib 2015Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2015,8,2:5

8Insight of ZnS nanoparticles contribution in different biological uses显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the contributions of the some quantum dots in different biological uses in order to valorizes such nanomaterials for further applications.Methods:Zinc sulfide ZnS nanoparticles were synthesized in aqueous medium at pH constant,the obtained nanoparticles has been characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and Fourier Transform Infra-red(FTIR) spectroscopies.Zinc sulfide nanoparticles were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal profiling and tested for antioxidant activity using l,l-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH),hydroxyl radical(OH·) and hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) scavenging activity,ferric reducing power(FRP) assay and ferrous ion chelating(FIC)methods.Results:The sizes of the crystallites were estimated to 3 nm using the DebyeScherrer formula based on the XRD data.The shape was identified to be quasi-spherical whith agglomerated particles.The obtained ZnS quantum dots present an antioxidant activity especially in oxido-reduction power,and can be used for species profiling either for bacteria and fungus.Conclusion:It was found that ZnS nanoparticles showed relatively higher antioxidant activities and antibacterial with an antifungal behavior which proves that this nanomaterials can react at the interface with the life entities.Houcine Labiadh Karima Lahbib Slah Hidouri Soufiane Touil Tahar BEN Chaabane 2016Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2016,9,8:1

10一种新型多用途污染控制船的研发及其球鼻艏的优化显示文摘Controlling marine pollution caused by hydrocarbons spilling from oil tanker accidents and oil rigs is urgently needed.Conventional pollution control vessels currently in service worldwide do not meet certain safety criteria,storage capacities,and response times owing to their technical shortcomings.This study proposes a new concept of multimission and autonomous antipollution vessels capable of acting quickly and efficiently to counter such pollution threats.The objective of this study is to carry out a total and rapid recovery of the spilled oil slick in complete safety.Hence,optimizing the bulbous bow adapted to the pollution control vessel during its displacement is necessary to horizontally straighten the accompanying waves formed around the hull and to laminate the flow upstream of the side openings for the recovery of spilled oil.This optimization improves the nautical qualities specific to this ship to reduce the total resistance to progress and to standardize the flow upstream of the side openings to allow the collection of spilled oil at high speed.This optimization study can open a field of application for the construction of modern multi-mission pollution control vessels.Tests in hull basins will be planned to validate and adjust the results obtained from the simulations.Abdelkader Lahlali Zakaria El Maskaoui Lahbib Bousshine Abderrahim Dinane 2023哈尔滨工程大学学报(英文版)2023,22,3:0

12Potential of Nassarius nitidus for monitoring organotin pollution in the lagoon of Bizerta (northern Tunisia)显示文摘Imposex and butyltin burden were assessed in Nassarius nitidus,Bolinus brandaris and Hexaplex trunculus collected at five stations in the Bizerta lagoon.Biological analysis showed that imposex followed type (a) in N.nitidus (distal evolution),against type (d) in the two muricids (proximal evolution).Imposex indices were higher in sites located nearby sources of tributyltin and N.nitidus was the least affected species of the five sites,followed by B.brandaris and H.trunculus.Butyltin analysis showed lower accumulation in N.nitidus followed by H.trunculus and B.brandaris.This study has allowed the gathering of data on imposex in a snail studied for the first time in Tunisia (N.nitidus).It suggests the possibility of using such snail as a complementary species for organotin monitoring programs in the Mediterranean and further confirmed that H.trunculus is the most suitable species for such investigations.Youssef Lahbib Sami Abidli Pablo Rodríguez González Josè Ignacio Garía Alonso Najoua Trigui-El Menif 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,9:0
