1Characterization for commutators of n-dimensional fractional Hardy operators显示文摘In this paper, it was proved that the commutator Hβ,b generated by an n-dimensional fractional Hardy operator and a locally integrable function b is bounded from Lp1(Rn) to Lp2 (Rn) if and only if b is a C(M)O(Rn) function, where 1/p1 - 1/p2 = β/n, 1 < p1 <∞, 0 ≤β< n. 2Fuzzy entropy image segmentation based on particle swarm optimization显示文摘Particle swarm optimization is a stochastic global optimization algorithm that is based on swarm intelligence.Because of its excellent performance, particle swarm optimization is introduced into fuzzy entropy image segmentation to select the optimal fuzzy parameter combination and fuzzy threshold adaptively.In this study, the particles in the swarm are constructed and the swarm search strategy is proposed to meet the needs of the segmentation application.Then fuzzy entropy image segmentation based on particle swarm opti-mization is implemented and the proposed method obtains satisfactory results in the segmentation experiments.Compared with the exhaustive search method, particle swarm optimization can give the same optimal fuzzy parameter combination and fuzzy threshold while needing less search time in the segmentation experiments and also has good search stability in the repeated experiments.Therefore, fuzzy entropy image segmentation based on particle swarm optimization is an eficient and promising segmentation method.Linyi Li Deren Li 2008Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,9:29

4Light weight concrete of Yangshao Period of China:The earliest concrete in the world显示文摘During 1970s,the residential remains of the Yangshao Period were discovered at the Dadiwan site in Qin'an County,Gansu Province,China.With carbon-14 dating,scanning electron microscope(SEM),thermal expansion analyzer,polarizing microscope(PLM),and X ray diffraction(XRD),the microstructures and chemical compositions of the pottery shard,floor materials of the housing site,kunkur,calcined kunkur,ginger nut(calcium concretion) from the Dadiwan site were analyzed and researched.Analysis and simulation tests were also carried out to study the hydratability of calcined ginger nut and calcined kunkur,and the manufacturing process of the residential floors.The research shows that the floor was made of a light concrete formed by the mixture of aggregate of calcinated ginger nut(locally deposited),red clay and kunkur.The dicalcium silicate(C2S) from the floor material of the housing site is one of the main constituents of modern cement,and the floor is also similar to modern concrete in nature.Therefore,the floor material of the housing site at the Dadiwan site was the earliest man-made concrete in the world ever discovered.LI ZuiXiong ZHAO LinYi LI Li 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,3:13
5High Speed On/Off Valve Control Hydraulic Propeller显示文摘The work-class remotely-operated-underwater-vehicles(ROVs) are mainly driven by hydraulic propulsion system,and the effeciency of hydraulic propulsion system is an important performance index of ROVs.However,the efficiency of traditional hydraulic propulsion system controlled by throttle valves is too low.Therefore,in this paper,for small and medium ROVs,a novel propulsion system with higher efficiency based on high speed on/off valve control hydraulic propeller is proposed.To solve the conflict between large flow rate and high frequency response performance,a two-stage high speed on/off valve-motor unit with large flow rate and high response speed simultaneously is developed.Through theoretical analysis,an effective fluctuation control method and a novel pulse-width-pulse-frequency-modulation(PWPFM) are introduced to solve the conflict among inherently fluctuation,valve dynamic performance and system efficiency.A simulation model is established to evaluate the system performance.To prove the advantage of system in energy saving,and test the dynamic control performance of high speed on/off valve control propeller,a test setup is developed and a series of comparative experiments is completed.The smimulation and experiment results show that the two-stage high speed on/off valve has an excellent dynamic response performance,and can be used to realize high accuracy speed control.The experiment results prove that the new propulsion system has much more advantages than the traditional throttle speed regulation system in energy saving.The lowest efficiency is more than 40%.The application results on a ROV indicate that the high speed on/off valve control propeller system has good dynamic and steady-state control performances.Its transient time is only about 1 s-1.5 s,and steady-state error is less than 5%.Meanwhile,the speed fluctuation is small,and the smooth propeller speed control effect is obtained.On the premise of good propeller speed control performance,the proposed high speed on/off valve control propeller can improve the effeciency of ROV propulsion system significantly,and provides another attractive ROV propulsion system choice for engineers.ZHU Kangwu GU Linyi CHEN Yuanjie LI Wei 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3:12
6Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. 7Forecast of Flood in Chaohu Lake Basin of China Based on Grey-Markov Theory显示文摘Flood is one kind of unexpected and the most common natural disasters, which is affected by many factors and has complex mechanism. At home and abroad, there is still no mature theory and method used for the long-term forecast of natural precipitation at present. In the present paper the disadvantages of grey GM (1, 1) and Markov chain are ana- lyzed, and Grey-Markov forecast theory about flood is put forward and then the modifying model is developed by making prediction of Chaohu Lake basin. Hydrological law was conducted based on the theoretical forecasts by grey system GM (1, 1) forecast model with improved Markov chain. 8Hybrid ant colony optimization for the resource-constrained project scheduling problem显示文摘To solve the resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP), a hybrid ant colony optimization (HACO) approach is presented. To improve the quality of the schedules, the HACO is incorporated with an extended double justification in which the activity splitting is applied to predict whether the schedule could be improved. The HACO is tested on the set of large benchmark problems from the project scheduling problem library (PSPLIB). 9Fenton Reagent Generated in Electrolysis Cell and Its Usage in Degradation and Decolorization of Dyes显示文摘The Electro-chemistry process to produce Fenton reagents has been described. The in situ oxidation of dyes, acid chrome and alizarin red(Fenton reagents) with electrogenerated hydroxyl radicals was investigated. The \{ I-V \} cyclic voltammograms were measured. The redox peaks of the dyes were not observed in the treated dye solutions instead of a couple of O2/H2O2 redox peaks. The IR results indicate that acid chrome dye was decomposed into naphthylamine and phenol aminophenol sulfonic acid. The degradation and the decolorization of the dyes were comfirmed by the visible spectrum and the chemical analysis. 10Current progress of mitochondrial transplantation that promotes neuronal regeneration显示文摘Background:Mitochondria are the major source of intracellular adenosine triphosphate(ATP)and play an essential role in a plethora of physiological functions,including the regulation of metabolism and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis.Mutations of mitochondrial DNA,proteins and impaired mitochondrial function have been implicated in the neurodegenerative diseases,stroke and injury of the central nervous system(CNS).The dynamic feature of mitochondrial fusion,fission,trafficking and turnover have also been documented in these diseases.Perspectives:A major bottleneck of traditional approach to correct mitochondria-related disorders is the difficulty of drugs or gene targeting agents to arrive at specific sub-compartments of mitochondria.Moreover,the diverse nature of mitochondrial mutations among patients makes it impossible to develop one drug for one disease.To this end,mitochondrial transplantation presents a new paradigm of therapeutic intervention that benefits neuronal survival and regeneration for neurodegenerative diseases,stroke,and CNS injury.Supplement of healthy mitochondria to damaged neurons has been reported to promote neuronal viability,activity and neurite re-growth.In this review,we provide an overview of the recent advance and development on mitochondrial therapy.Conclusion:Key parameters for the success of mitochondrial transplantation depend on the source and quality of isolated mitochondria,delivery protocol,and cellular uptake of supplemented mitochondria.To expedite clinical application of the mitochondrial transplantation,current isolation protocol needs optimization to obtain high percentage of functional mitochondria,isolated mitochondria may be packaged by biomaterials for successful delivery to brain allowing for efficient neuronal uptake.Chu-Yuan Chang Min-Zong Liang Linyi Chen 2019Translational Neurodegeneration2019,8,1:5
11Tangnaikang improves insulin resistance and β-cell apoptosis by ameliorating metabolic inflammation in SHR.Cg-Lepr^(cp)/NDmcr rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Tangnaikang(TNK), a mixture of five herbal plant extracts,on inflammation-mediated insulin resistance andβ-cell apoptosis in SHR.Cg-Leprcp/NDmcr(SHR-cp)rats.METHODS: Seven-week-old SHR-cp rats were randomly divided into a control(CON) group and a TNK(3.24 g/kg) group. Wistar-Kyoto rats at the same age were used as the normal control group.After 7 weeks of continuous intragastric administration of TNK, the glucose metabolic status and insulin sensitivity of the rats were evaluated by assessing fasting serum glucose(FBG), the oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT), fasting serum insulin(FINS),and the insulin sensitivity index(ISI). Serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6(IL-6), C-reactive protein(CRP) and adiponectin were measured via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.Macrophage infiltration and apoptosis in adipose tissues were detected through F4/80 immunohistochemistry and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) assay. Islet morphology and β-cell apoptosis were investigated using double immunofluorescence staining and the TUNEL assay. The expression of cytokine genes in adipose tissue, the liver, and the pancreas was detected in real-time polymerase chain reaction assays. The expression and phosphorylation levels of insulin signaling-, inflammation-, and β-cell survival-related proteins in the liver and pancreas of SHR-cp rats were detected by western blotting.RESULTS: TNK(3.24 g/kg) treatment significantly decreased body weight, FBG and FINS; improved impaired glucose tolerance; increased the ISI; reduced serum levels of TNF-α, CRP and IL-6; and increased serum adiponectin. The m RNA expression of inflammatory markers was markedly reduced in the liver, pancreas, and adipose tissue. F4/80-and TUNEL-positive cells in adipose tissues were decreased, as was the number of TUNEL-positiveβ-cells. 13The role of TGF-beta3 in cartilage development and osteoarthritis显示文摘Articular cartilage serves as a low-friction,load-bearing tissue without the support with blood vessels,lymphatics and nerves,making its repair a big challenge.Transforming growth factor-beta 3(TGF-β3),a vital member of the highly conserved TGF-βsuperfamily,plays a versatile role in cartilage physiology and pathology.TGF-β3 influences the whole life cycle of chondrocytes and mediates a series of cellular responses,including cell survival,proliferation,migration,and differentiation.Since TGF-β3 is involved in maintaining the balance between chondrogenic differentiation and chondrocyte hypertrophy,its regulatory role is especially important to cartilage development.Increased TGF-β3 plays a dual role:in healthy tissues,it can facilitate chondrocyte viability,but in osteoarthritic chondrocytes,it can accelerate the progression of disease.Recently,TGF-β3 has been recognized as a potential therapeutic target for osteoarthritis(OA)owing to its protective effect,which it confers by enhancing the recruitment of autologous mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)to damaged cartilage.However,the biological mechanism of TGF-β3 action in cartilage development and OA is not well understood.In this review,we systematically summarize recent progress in the research on TGF-β3 in cartilage physiology and pathology,providing up-to-date strategies for cartilage repair and preventive treatment.Xinmei Du Linyi Cai Jing Xie Xuedong Zhou 2023Bone Research2023,11,1:3
14Compliant substratum modulates vinculin expression in focal adhesion plaques in skeletal cells显示文摘The biophysical properties of the extracellular matrix (ECM) dictate tissue-specific cell behaviour.In the skeleton system,bone shows the potential to adapt its architecture and contexture to environmental rigidity via the bone remodelling process,which involves chondrocytes,osteoblasts,osteoclasts,osteocytes and even peripheral bone marrow-derived stem/stromal cells (BMSCs).In the current study,we generated stiff (~1 014 ± 56) kPa,Young’s modulus) and soft (~46 ± 11) kPa silicon-based elastomer polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrates by mixing curing agent into oligomeric base at 1:5 and 1:45 ratios,respectively,and investigated the influence of substrate stiffness on the cell behaviours by characterizing cell spreading area,cell cytoskeleton and cell adhesion capacity.The results showed that the cell spreading areas of chondrocytes,osteoblasts,osteoclasts,osteocytes and BMSCs were all reduced in the soft substrate relative to those in the stiff substrate.F-actin staining confirmed that the cytoskeleton was also changed in the soft group compared to that in the stiff group.Vinculin in focal adhesion plaques was significantly decreased in response to soft substrate compared to stiff substrate.This study establishes the potential correlation between microenvironmental mechanics and the skeletal system,and the results regarding changes in cell spreading area,cytoskeleton and cell adhesion further indicate the important role of biomechanics in the cell-matrix interaction.Chenchen Zhou Qingxuan Wang Demao Zhang Linyi Cai Wei Du Jing Xie 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,2:3
15Osteoporosis-decreased extracellular matrix stiffness impairs connexin 43-mediated gap junction intercellular communication in osteocytes显示文摘Osteocytes are the main sensitive and responsive cells for mechanical stimuli in bone.The connexin family enables them to communicate with each other via forming functional gap junctions.However,how osteoporosis-impaired extracellular mechanical property modulates gap junction intercellular communication in osteocytes remains elusive.In this study,we established an ovariectomy(OVX)-induced osteoporosis mouse model in vivo and a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)-based cell culture substrate model in vitro to explore the influence of extracellular matrix(ECM)stiffness on cell-to-cell communication in osteocytes.Firstly,we established an OVX-induced osteoporosis mouse model by characterizing the changes in radiography,morphology and histochemistry of femurs.Our results showed that osteoporosis decreased the bone matrix stiffness together with the changes including the loss of osteocytes and the decrease of protein markers.Meanwhile,the dendritic process interconnection and channel-forming protein,Cx43,were reduced in osteoporosis mice.Next we mimicked ECM stiffness changes in vitro by using PDMS substrates at ratios 1:5 for normal stiffness and 1:45 for osteoporosis stiffness.Our results showed that the decreased ECM stiffness reduced the number of dendritic processes in a single cell and gap junctions between adjacent osteocytes.We further detected the decreased expression of Cx43,in the substrate with decreased stiffness.Finally,we found that gap junction-based intercellular communication was reduced in living osteocytes in the substrate with decreased stiffness.This study demonstrates the correlation between ECM mechanical property and cell-to-cell communication in osteocytes and might pave the way for further exploration of osteoporosis in terms of biomechanics.Demao Zhang Xin Li Caixia Pi Linyi Cai Yang Liu Wei Du Wenbin Yang Jing Xie 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,5:3
16Spatial and temporal variabilities of rainstorms over China under climate change显示文摘Rainstorms are one of the extreme rainfall events that cause serious disasters,such as urban flooding and mountain torrents.Traditional studies have used rain gauge observations to analyze rainstorm events,but relevant information is usually missing in gauge-sparse areas.Satellite-derived precipitation datasets serve as excellent supplements or substitutes for the gauge observations.By developing a grid-based rainstorm-identification tool,we used the Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission(TRMM)Multi-satellite Precipitation Analysis(TMPA)time series product to reveal the spatial and temporal variabilities of rainstorms over China during 1998–2017.Significant patterns of both increasing and decreasing rainstorm occurrences were detected,with no spatially uniform trend being observed across the whole country.There was an increase in the area being affected by rainstorms during the 20-year period,with rainstorm centers shifting along the southwest–northeast direction.Rainstorm occurrence was found to be correlated with local total precipitation.By comparing rainstorm occurrence with climate variables such as the El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation and Pacific Decadal Oscillation,we also found that climate change was likely to be the primary reason for rainstorm occurrence in China.This study complements previous studies that used gauge observations by providing a better understanding of the spatiotemporal dynamics of China’s rainstorms.HUANG Chang ZHANG Shiqiang DONG Linyao WANG Zucheng LI Linyi CUI Luming 2021Journal of Geographical Sciences2021,31,4:3
17Wheat MADS-box gene TaSEP3-D1 negatively regulates heading date显示文摘The MADS-box gene plays an important role in regulating plant growth and development.In this study,a SEP3-like MADS-box gene TaSEP3-1 was isolated from bread wheat.The expression patterns of the three homoeologs TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1 were similar,and higher expression levels were detected in floral organs and developing kernels.TaSEP3-D1 was located in the nucleus and cytoplasm and possessed transactivation activity in yeast.Homoeolog sequence polymorphism analysis identified four,three,and four haplotypes of TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1,respectively,and the haplotypes of TaSEP3-D1 had larger effects on agronomic traits than those of TaSEP3-A1 and TaSEP3-B1.D1_h4,significantly associated with heading date,plant height,and other yield-related traits,was the favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1.Transgenic wheat genotypes overexpressing TaSEP3-D1 exhibited delayed heading and reduced plant height,indicating a role in regulating heading date and plant development.These results shed light on the role of TaSEP3-D1 in wheat plant development.The favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1 can be applied in breeding to improve plant architecture and yield in wheat.Lei Zhang Hao Zhang Linyi Qiao Lingfeng Miao Dong Yan Pan Liu Guangyao Zhao Jizeng Jia Lifeng Gao 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:2
18Effectiveness of Qingre Lishi Yishen decoction on the glomerular fibrosis of immunoglobulin A nephropathy in a rat’s model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of the clinical effective prescription of Qingre Lishi Yishen decoction(QRLS) on the activation of mesangial cells in immunoglobulin A nephropathy(IgAN) rats.METHODS: IgAN rat’s model was established by combine with intragastric administration of bovine serum albumin(BSA) + intravenous injection of lipopolysaccharide(LPS) by + subcutaneous injection of carbon tetrachloride(CCL4). Then the animals were randomly divided into four groups: control group, IgAN model group, IgAN model with Valsartan(Val) treatment group and IgAN model with QRLS treatment group. To observe the indexes of 24-h urine protein, renal function, deposition of immune complexes, expression of activation factor, fibrosis marker and inflammatory cytokines in four different groups.RESULTS: The Val or QRLS treatment group:(a) it reduced the immune complexes deposition of IgA in glomerular mesangial and inhibited mesangial cell proliferation;(b) it decreased the expression of smooth muscle actin(α-SMA), fibronectin(FN) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α).CONCLUSION: The study suggested that QRLS ameliorate renal structure and function in IgAN rat’s model. 20Luminescent and photovoltaic properties of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-bithiophene) in organic electronic devices显示文摘We studied the luminescent and photovoltaic properties of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-bithiophene)(F8T2) based on ITO/PEDOT:PSS/F8T2/Bphen/LiF(0 or 1 nm)/Al and ITO/PEDOT:PSS/F8T2:PCBM/Bphen/Al.A stable and bright yellow emission was obtained from polymer F8T2,and the electroluminescence power reached 45 ?W at a 15 V driving voltage.Polymer F8T2 shows a broad absorption band from 400 to 500 nm,and has a shorter absorption edge at about 560 nm compared to that of the typical electron donor P3HT(650 nm).The photoluminescence quenching of F8T2 occurs with only a small fraction of blended PCBM due to the effective exciton dissociation at the interface between F8T2 and PCBM.Polymer solar cells(PSCs) using F8T2:PCBM as the active layer show a low power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 0.10% with an open circuit voltage(Voc) of 0.91 V and short circuit current density(Jsc) of 0.23 mA/cm2.The PSCs using F8T2:P3HT:PCBM as the active layer have a Voc of 0.85 V and Jsc of 3.02 mA/cm2,improving the PCE by about 0.90%.We attribute the improved cell performance to the higher number of photons harvested by P3HT molecules.XU XiaoWei ZHU EnWei BIAN LinYi WANG ZiXuan WANG Jin ZHUO ZuLiang WANG Jian ZHANG FuJun TANG WeiHua 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,9:2
