1Synthesis of waterborne polyurethane using snow as dispersant:Structures and properties controlled by polyols utilization显示文摘waterborne polyurethane (WPU) dispersions have gained attention towards environm entally-friendly synthesis. In this article, a series of waterborne polyurethane em ulsions was successfully synthesized and extensively characterized in terms of thermal, mechanical properties, hydrophilic behavior and morphology. Snowwas chosen as dispersant instead of comm only used water. Preparation param eters such as intrinsic properties and molecular weight of polyols were discussed systematically. A chain structure was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. when com paring the nature of the polyols (PPG, PEG and PNA, 2000g/mol) of this study, as-synthesized polyether waterborne polyurethane provided higher solid content, viscosity and water-resistance. However, polyester waterborne polyurethane perform ed differently and it exhibited higher therm al stability and crystallinity. When com paring the samples (WPU-N210, WPU-N220, WPU-N230 and WPU-N240) with different molecular weight of the same polyol (PPG) used as soft segment, the emulsion WPU-N220 with molecular weight of 2000g/mol PPG provided the highest solid content and lowest viscosity. It was observed th at particle size was uniform and highly dispersed for all sam ples from TEM images. Therm ogravim etric, differential scanning calorim etry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction results dem onstrated that the emulsion WPU-N230 with m olecular weight of 3000 g/mol PPG possessed higher therm al stability and crystallinity than the other samples. The reason was that the Tg and thermal stability were increased with increasing molecular weight. when molecular weight increased, the arrangem ent of soft segm ent became more regular and so did the regularity of the molecular chains. 2Effects of foraging site distances on the intestinal bacterial community compositions of the sympatric wintering Hooded Crane(Grus monacha)and Domestic Duck(Anas platyrhynchos domesticus)显示文摘Background:The composition of intestinal microflora in animals is affected by cross-species transmission.In a nature reserve,the foraging sites of waterbirds are relatively fixed,but frequently close to residential areas and can also be visited by domestic fowls.It is easy to result in the trans-species-flock dispersal of gut microbes between the wild birds and domestic fowls.The effects of the variable foraging site distances on the gut microbe structures of the waterbirds and the sympatric domestic fowls are currently unclear,and further research is required to evaluate the impacts of geographic location on cross-infection.Methods:Illumina high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis software were utilized to compare and analyze the composition of gut microbes from the fecal samples of Hooded Cranes(HC;Grus monacha)and two groups of Domestic Ducks(Anas platyrhynchos domesticus)that foraged at 1 km(ducks in near areas,D-N),and 4 km(ducks in far areas,D-F)away from the habitats of the Hooded Cranes at Shengjin Lake,China.Results:The results showed that there were significant differences in the alpha-diversity of the gut bacteria in the HC,D-N,and D-F samples under the interspecific distance factor.The dominant bacterial phyla,Cyanobacteria and Proteobacteria,showed correlations with distance for each host.The D-N group had more diverse intestinal flora than the D-F,as they were physically closer to the HC and had more indirect contact and cross-transmission of their gut microbes.More potentially pathogenic bacterial sequences,and Operational Taxonomic Units(OTUs)were found in the D-N than in HC and D-F.Conclusions:Hooded Cranes and the Domestic Duck populations at variable distances from the cranes showed significant differences in their intestinal bacteria and potentially pathogenic bacteria.The closer the foraging sites were,the easier the intestinal flora spread across species.The results provide a basis for determining the safe distance between wild birds and domestic fowls in a nature reserve.Wei Wang Lizhi Zhou Rong Fu Lei Cheng Shaofei Yan Nazia Mahtab Yunwei Song 2021Avian Research2021,12,2:3
3Electrospinning in membrane contactor:manufacturing Elec-PVDF/SiO2 superhydrophobic surface for efficient flue gas desulphurization applications显示文摘In membrane contactors,maintaining a high SO_(2)absorption flux and an excellent wetting resistance are crucial for hazardous gas removal.In this study,we adopted an electrospinning strategy to fabricate highly robust superhydrophobic dual-layer Elec-PVDF/SiO_(2)composite membrane contactors used for flue gas desulfurization.The composite membrane contactor consisted of a durable and ultrathin three-dimensional(3D)superhydrophobic surface and a porous supporting layer,where the formulation was optimized by regulating the PVDF concentration,solvent ratio and SiO_(2)particles content in electrospinning solution.The scanning electronic microscopy(SEM),EDS-mapping,water contact angle(WCA)and surface roughness of as-prepared Elec-PVDF/SiO_(2)composite membrane contactors were conducted to explore the physical and chemical structure.The SiO_(2)nanoparticles were uniformly loaded in ElecPVDF/SiO_(2)composite membrane contactor,and constructed micro-nano dual-coarse lotus-leaf-like morphology,which noticeably elevated surface roughness(Ra).The SiO_(2)nanoparticles also functioned as hydrophobic modifiers,which boosted the WAC up to 155.The SO_(2)absorption fluxes and SO_(2)removal efficiencies were investigated.In particular,the membrane contactor doped with 20 wt%SiO_(2)nanoparticles significantly elevated the stability of desulfurization performance.Besides,the membrane mass transfer coefficient(Km)and corresponding membrane mass transfer resistance(H/Km)were explored.Qingping Xin Kaiqiang Xie Qingqing Liang Xu Li Yinan Zeng Yuhang Zhao Lei Zhang Shaofei Wang Hong Li Yuzhong Zhang 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,1:3
4Preparation and characterization of organic pigments and their fluorescence properties depending on bulk structure显示文摘Fluorescent pigments, based on the optical or electrooptical properties of dyes, are the main component in fluorescent coatings and inks. In this study, three kinds of dyes(Rhodamine B, Light Green SF Yellowish, Coumarin) with four different ratios(2.5 wt%, 3 wt%, 3.5 wt%, 4 wt%) were employed as luminophor,and the melamine-formaldehyde(MF) resin was used as curing resin to prepare fluorescent pigments in different color. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry were carried out to analyze the structure of the fluorescent pigments. Scanning electron microscopy and particle size distribution were used to present the morphology of fluorescent pigments. UV–vis and fluorescence spectrum were used to demonstrate the optical properties. It can be concluded that, coumarin pigments possessed consecutive structure in MF resin while rhodamine B might be the best for the preparation of printing inks among the three kinds of dyes from the view of particle size. 5Research progress and prospect of plugging technologies for fractured formation with severe lost circulation显示文摘By reviewing the mechanisms of drilling fluid lost circulation and its control in fractured formations, the applicability and working mechanisms of different kinds of lost circulation materials in plugging fractured formations have been summarized. Meanwhile, based on the types of lost circulation materials, the advantages, disadvantages, and application effects of corresponding plugging technologies have been analyzed to sort out the key problems existing in the current lost circulation control technologies. On this basis, the development direction of plugging technology for severe loss have been pointed out. It is suggested that that the lost circulation control technology should combine different disciplines such as geology, engineering and materials to realize integration, intelligence and systematization in the future. 10Formation mechanisms of fracture plugging zone and optimization of plugging particles显示文摘As formation mechanisms of plugging zone and criteria for fracture plugging remain unclear,plugging experiments and methods testing granular material mechanical properties are used to study the formation process of the plugging zone in fractured formations,analyze composition and ratios of different sizes of particles in the plugging zone,and reveal the essence and driving energy of the formation and damage of the plugging zone.New criteria for selecting lost circulation materials are proposed.The research results show that the formation of the plugging zone has undergone a process from inertial flow,elastic flow,to quasi-static flow.The plugging zone is composed of fracture mouth plugging particles,bridging particles and filling particles,and the proportion of the three types of particles is an important basis for designing drilling fluid loss control formula.The essence of the construction of the plugging zone is non-equilibrium Jamming phase transition.The response of the plugging zone particle system to pressure is driven by entropy force;the greater the entropy,the more stable the plugging zone.Lost circulation control formula optimized according to the new criteria has better plugging effect than the formula made according to conventional plugging rules and effectively improves the pressure-bearing capacity of the plugging zone.The research results provide a theoretical and technical basis for the lost circulation control of fractured formations.LEI Shaofei SUN Jinsheng BAI Yingrui LYU Kaihe ZHANG Shupei XU Chengyuan CHENG Rongchao LIU Fan 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,3:0
