| 1 | 3D full-loop simulation and experimental verification of gas-solid flow hydrodynamics in a dense circulating fluidized bed显示文摘Because of their advantages of high efficiency and low cost,numerical research methods for large-scale circulating fluidized bed(CFB) apparatus are gaining ever more importance.This article presents a numerical study of gas-solid flow dynamics using the Eulerian granular multiphase model with a drag coefficient correction based on the energy-minimization multi-scale(EMMS) model.A three-dimensional,full-loop,time-dependent simulation of the hydrodynamics of a dense CFB apparatus is performed.The process parameters(e.g.,operating and initial conditions) are provided in accordance with the real experiment to enhance the accuracy of the simulation.The axial profiles of the averaged solid volume fractions and the solids flux at the outlet of the cyclone are in reasonable agreement with experimental data,thereby verifying the applicability of the mathematical and physical models.As a result,the streamline in the riser and standpipe as well as the solids distribution contours at the cross sections is analyzed.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) serves as a basis for CFB modeling to help resolve certain issues long in dispute but difficult to address experimentally.The results of this study provide the basis of a general approach to describing dynamic simulations of gas-solid flows. | Xueyao Wang Xuezhi Wu Fulin Lei Jing Lei Yunhan Xiao | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,5: | 2 |

| 3 | MILD Combustion for Hydrogen and Syngas at Elevated Pressures显示文摘As gas recirculation constitutes a fundamental condition for the realization of MILD combustion, it is necessary to determine gas recirculation ratio before designing MILD combustor. MILD combustion model with gas recirculation was used in this simulation work to evaluate the effect of fuel type and pressure on threshold gas recirculation ratio of MILD mode. Ignition delay time is also an important design parameter for gas turbine combustor, this parameter is kinetically studied to analyze the effect of pressure on MILD mixture ignition. Threshold gas recirculation ratio of hydrogen MILD combustion changes slightly and is nearly equal to that of 10 MJ/Nm3syngas in the pressure range of 1-19 atm, under the conditions of 298 K fresh reactant temperature and 1373 K exhaust gas temperature, indicating that MILD regime is fuel flexible. | 5 | Effects of Diet with'Lianhuang'Additive of Chinese Herb Medicine on Growth Performance and Metabolic Rates of Dietary Nutrients in Donglan Black Chicken显示文摘[Objectives]The study was conducted to evaluate the effects of diet with'Lianhuang'additive of Chinese herbal medicine(LACHM)on growth performance and metabolic rates of dietary nutrients in Donglan black chickens(DBCs).[Methods]80 DBCs aged 1 d were blocked into 4 groups randomly and assigned to 6 replicates in each group with 20 chicks in each replicate.Group A as control group fed basal diet.Groups B,C and D as treatment groups consumed the basal diet added with 0.25%,0.50%and 1.00%of LACHM,respectively during the test period of 70 d.In the end of feeding test,24 DBCs with similar body weight from each group were chosen out and used for a metabolism test to determine the metabolic rates of dietary nutrients from each treatment.The metabolism test was conducted as the same design as the feeding test and the DBCs from each group were fed the same diet as previous test.[Results]The ADG of chickens in the test increased by 5.00%-9.15%(P<0.05)except the stage of 50-70 d,and the individual average body weight(IABW)at 70 d in group B also increased by 4.86%(P<0.05).Compared with group A,the ADG of group C in the stages of 36-49,1-49 and 1-70 d and the IABW in the end of 70 d increased by 5.90%,2.66%,2.68%and 2.57%(P>0.05),respectively.The ADFI in the stage of 36-49 d from group A was 6.04%more than that from group B(P<0.01),and 5.12%and 4.13%more than those from groups C and D(P<0.05),respectively,and the ADFI of group A in the stage of 1-49 d was still 2.86%more than that from group C(P<0.05).However,no differences in ADFI were found in other stages in the test among the 4 groups(P>0.05).The F/G in the stages of 22-35 and 1-70 d from group B was 6.32%and 3.41%lower than those from group A(P<0.05),respectively,and even 11.43%and 7.31%lower in the stages of 36-49 and 1-49 d from group B than those from group A(P<0.01),respectively.The F/G of group C in the stage of 36-49 d was also 10.15%lower than that of group A(P<0.05),and still 5.29%lower than that from group A in 1-49 d(P<0.01),but no differences were found in other stages between the two groups(P>0.05).The metabolic rates of MD,CP,CF,NFE,CA,TE,Ca and P in the 3 treatment diets for group B,C and D all increased to some extent.Among them,the increasing extents of diets with 0.25%and 0.50%of LACHM for groups B and C were much greater.Therefore,the diet with 0.25%of LACHM could improve the growth performance and metabolic rates of dietary nutrients in DBCs significantly.[Conclusions]This study provides a theoretical reference for the effects of traditional Chinese medicine additives on the growth and metabolic rates of DBCs. | Jing YAN Lei QIU Min CHEN Fulin WANG Wenjie LU Menglei LI Cui YANG Jiahuang YANG | 2022 | Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,3: | 1 |

| 7 | Synergistic Effect of Alkali Metals in Coal and Introduced CaO during Steam Gasification显示文摘The steam gasification kinetics of Zhundong raw coal and the washed coal by deionized water or hydrochloric acid with/without addition of CaO were tested by thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)at medium temperatures(650℃ to 800℃).The cation contents of potassium and sodium in samples were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer(ICP-OES).The Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface area of the samples was tested by N2 adsorption,and the morphologies of the samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Experimental results showed that the organic sodium was the main catalyst for the gasification of the pyrolysis char,and the gasification rate of the char could be enhanced further with the introduction of CaO.The inherent alkali metals in coal and the introduced CaO showed a synergistic effect that occurred obviously above 735℃.The char conversion curves with or without CaO were fitted by the modified volumetric model(MVM).The calculated results indicated that the addition of CaO increased the pre-exponential factor obviously,but made little changes on the activation energy.It was proposed that the synergistic effect was resulted from the co-melting of the sodium and CaO,which facilitated the migration of the catalyst ions and the generation of C(O)intermediates for the gasification. | LIU Yang YANG Xinfang LEI Fulin XIAO Yunhan | 2020 | Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,6: | 0 |
| 8 | Influence of Solids Circulation Flux on Coal Gasification Process in a Pressurized High-density Circulating Fluidized Bed显示文摘The coal gasification behaviors in the pressurized high-density circulating fluidized bed under various solids circulation fluxes were studied with the CFD method, which combines the two-fluid model and coal gasification reactions represented by the chemical percolation devolatilization and the MGAS models. The numerical method was validated with two experimental cases, and detailed distributions of gas species and temperature in the riser were illustrated to understand the gasification process. To fully understand the influence of solids circulation flux on the gasification behavior, a series of cases were simulated with the solids flux varying gradually from 260 to 1010 kg/m^2 s, and the composition and quality of syngas were compared between various cases. The higher heating value of syngas firstly increased and then decreased with the increase of solids flux, and it reached the highest value around 480 kg/m^2 s. | 10 | Effects of steam on CO2 absorption ability of calcium-based sorbent modified by peanut husk ash显示文摘The CO_2 absorption ability of synthetic calcium-based sorbent modified by peanut husk ash (PHA) was tested by Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer (TGA), and the effects of steam and calcination temperature were investigated. The PHA composition was analyzed by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), the apparent morphology was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the phases of the sorbent before and after calcination were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The addition of PHA effectively improved the cyclic stability of the calcium-based sorbent. The optimal molar ratio of SiO_2 in PHA to CaO was around 0.07. Steam had positive effect on keeping porosity of the sorbent at the chemical reaction stage, and improved its CO_2 absorption ability. Steam also reduced the diffusion resistance of the product layer, and depressed the influence of high temperature calcination.
