2Mechanosignaling activation of TGFβmaintains intervertebral disc homeostasis显示文摘Intervertebral disc(IVD) degeneration is the leading cause of disability with no disease-modifying treatment.IVD degeneration is associated with instable mechanical loading in the spine, but little is known about how mechanical stress regulates nucleus notochordal(NC) cells to maintain IVD homeostasis. Here we report that mechanical stress can result in excessive integrin α_vβ_6-mediated activation of transforming growth factor beta(TGFβ), decreased NC cell vacuoles, and increased matrix proteoglycan production, and results in degenerative disc disease(DDD). Knockout of TGFβ type II receptor(TβRII) or integrin α_v in the NC cells inhibited functional activity of postnatal NC cells and also resulted in DDD under mechanical loading.Administration of RGD peptide, TGFβ, and α_vβ_6-neutralizing antibodies attenuated IVD degeneration. Thus,integrin-mediated activation of TGFβ plays a critical role in mechanical signaling transduction to regulate IVD cell function and homeostasis. 3Fabrication of SAW Sensor for Detecting Chemical Agent显示文摘SAW sensors using five different types of polymer to detect of chemical agents(DMMP,CH_3CN,CH_2Cl_2,DCP) have been fabricated and its gas response characteristics were extensively investigated.The polymers used as the sensing material are polyisobutylene(PIB),polyepichlorohydrin(PECH),polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS),polyisoprene(PIP)and polybutadiene(PBD).Their thin films were coated on quartz substrate by spin coating technique.Three types of simulants gases,dimethylmethylphosphonate(DMMP),acetonitrile(CH_3CN)and dichloromethane(CH_2Cl_2),dichloropentane(DCP)were used as target gases,instead of the real nerve,blood,choking and vesicant agents.After spin coating of PIB and PECH,the substrates were heated to 65℃with N_2 flow for 1 h to remove the cyclohexane and ethylacetate which was used as solvent. 4Fault detection method with PCA and LDA and its application to induction motor显示文摘A feature extraction and fusion algorithm was constructed by combining principal component analysis(PCA) and linear discriminant analysis(LDA) to detect a fault state of the induction motor.After yielding a feature vector with PCA and LDA from current signal that was measured by an experiment,the reference data were used to produce matching values.In a diagnostic step,two matching values that were obtained by PCA and LDA,respectively,were combined by probability model,and a faulted signal was finally diagnosed.As the proposed diagnosis algorithm brings only merits of PCA and LDA into relief,it shows excellent performance under the noisy environment.The simulation was executed under various noisy conditions in order to demonstrate the suitability of the proposed algorithm and showed more excellent performance than the case just using conventional PCA or LDA.JUNG D Y LEE S M 王洪梅 KIM J H LEE S H 2010Journal of Central South University2010,17,6:3
