1Coexistence of situs inversus totalis and hepatocellular carcinoma:A series of nine cases and a literature review显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most commonly diagnosed carcinoma and one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide.Situs inversus totalis(SIT)is a congenital condition where in the internal organs of the abdomen and thorax lie in mirror images of their normal position.Thus far,there are very few reports on cases of SIT coexisting with HCC.Our case series is probably the largest series in world literature.The cohort of this retrospective study included a total of nine patients diagnosed with SIT-HCC and treated in our hospital between January 2013 and May 2018.Clinical characteristics,prognostic factors,and outcomes were summarized.Treatment strategies included surgery,transarterial chemoembolization,and microwave ablation.The diagnosis and treatment of patients with SIT are challenging because of organ reversion.The current treatment strategies for different stages of liver cancer are safe and feasible for patients with SIT-HCC.Xiaowei Li Zhigang Fu Jiaming Zhong Kunkun Cao Xiaoxia Chen Ning Ding Li Liu Jian Zhai Zengqiang Qu 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,1:1

3Low-Velocity Impact and Compression-After-Impact Behaviour of Flax Fibre-Reinforced Composites显示文摘This study details the low-velocity impact and compression-after-impact(CAI)behaviour of flax fibre-reinforced polymer(FFRP)composites.The impact resistance,energy absorption efficiency and residual compressive strength as well as the damage pattern of the FFRP composites are compared with the corresponding features of glass fibre-reinforced polymer(GFRP)composites,and the effect of the stacking sequence of FFRP composites is also investigated.The results show that the cross-ply FFRP composites have the highest impact resistance,whereas the multi-directional ply composites have the lowest impact resistance but the highest energy absorption efficiency.The energy absorption efficiency of the FFRP composites is greater than that of the GFRP composites,but the penetration resistance and residual compressive strength of the FFRP composites are lower than those of the GFRP composites with the same stacking sequence,mainly due to the lower tensile strength and elongation at fracture of the FFRP composites.It is also reported that the damage pattern of the FFRP composites is localised cracking and delamination,unlike the overall delamination failure exhibited in the GFRP composites after CAI testing.Finally,the failure mechanisms of the FFRP and GFRP composites are detailed.Yan Li Junjie Zhong Kunkun Fu 2020Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2020,33,4:0
