1Drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis:A minireview显示文摘Drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis(DIAIH)is a specific phenotype of druginduced liver injury that may lead to the devastating outcome of acute liver failure requiring liver transplantation.Drugs implicated in DIAIH include antimicrobials such as nitrofurantoin and minocycline,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,statins as well as anti-tumor necrosis agents.The clinical features of druginduced liver injury are indistinguishable from idiopathic autoimmune hepatitis(AIH)as both may have positive AIH-related autoantibodies,elevated immunoglobulin G,as well as similar histopathological findings.In patients who show no clinical improvement,or there is progressive liver injury despite cessation of the suspected drug,a liver biopsy should be considered,whereby the presence of advance fibrosis on histology favors the diagnosis of idiopathic AIH.Empirical treatment with corticosteroids may be required in patients with non-resolving liver injury.A typical clinical scenario supportive of DIAIH includes a history of drug exposure with spontaneous resolution of liver injury after drug withdrawal and the absence of relapse after rapid steroid taper.In this article we report two cases of DIAIH secondary to Sorafenib and Atorvastatin along with a review of currently available literature.Early identification and treatment often lead to a favorable outcome in DIAIH.Chin Kimg Tan Danielle Ho Lai Mun Wang Rahul Kumar 2022World Journal of Gastroenterology2022,28,24:2

14Antibiotic prophylaxis in cirrhosis patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding:An updated systematic review and meta‐analysis显示文摘Objective:Emerging evidence suggest that antibiotic prophylaxis may be omitted in early cirrhosis patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding(UGIB),which question the benefits of antibiotic prophylaxis on rebleeding,mortality related to ongoing bleeding,and the need for salvage therapy.As the management of UGIB has improved over time since the last review a decade ago,we performed an updated meta‐analysis to review the benefits of antibiotic prophylaxis in cirrhosis patients with UGIB.Method:Six electronic databases including PubMed/MEDLINE,EMBASE,Scopus,Web of Science,Cochrane library,and ClinicalTrial.gov were systematically searched up to December 1,2021.The primary outcome was 6 weeks mortality.Secondary outcomes include the risk of infection,rebleeding at 7 days and 6 weeks,mortality related to ongoing bleeding,need for salvage therapy,and infection‐related mortality.Result:Eighteen studies(12 randomized controlled trials[RCT],6 non‐RCT)from 3180 subjects were identified among 2129 citations.Antibiotic prophylaxis reduces mortality at 6 weeks,risk of infection,and infectionrelated mortality(pooled relative risk:0.72,0.39,and 0.41,respectively).Although antibiotics reduce the risk of rebleeding and the amount of blood transfusion,they did not reduce the risk of mortality from ongoing bleeding nor the need for salvage therapy.Antibiotic prophylaxis may shorten the length of stay in the intensive care unit.Conclusion:Antibiotic prophylaxis reduces rebleeding,6‐week mortality,and infection‐related mortality.Due to the low risk of infection and death,dedicated studies are warranted to evaluate the benefit of antibiotic prophylaxis in early cirrhosis with UGIB.Yu Jun Wong Chin Kimg Tan Yuen Lin Yii Yoko Wong Yew Chong Tam Edwin Chan Juan G.Abraldes 2022Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2022,1,3:1

19Enhanced electrochemical performance of graphitic carbon-wrapped spherical FeOF nanoparticles using maleopimaric acid as a cathode material for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered one of the most promising energy storage systems for replacing lithium-ion batteries because of the high abundance and low cost of sodium.Iron oxyfluoride(FeOF)is a promising conversion-based cathode material for SIBs because of its high theoretical capacity of about855 mA h g^(-1),low-cost chemical compositions,and its lower sensitivity to the size of charged carrier ions.However,the poor electrical conductivity and ionic diffusion of FeOF result in a low rate capability and cyclability.In this work,FeOF nanoparticles wrapped by graphitic carbon layers were synthesized using abietic or maleopimaric acid as both the carbon source and organic ligand.In addition,the morphology of the FeOF particles was gradually controlled from rod to spherical shapes,simply depending on the rosin acids.The FeOF nanoparticles prepared with maleopimaric acid showed a large reversible discharge capacity of 356.7 mA h g^(-1)with a fading rate of 0.21%per cycle after 100 cycles at a current density of 100 mA g^(-1)and an excellent rate capability.Achmad Yanuar Maulana Jungwook Song Da Won Leeg Chae Eun Leeg Jongsik Kimg 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26:0
