1Discovery and Significance of High CH_4 Primary Fluid Inclusions in Reservoir Volcanic Rocks of the Songliao Basin,NE China显示文摘Comparing compositions of the fluid inclusions in volcanic rocks to the contents and isotopes of the gases in corresponding volcanic reservoirs using microthermometry, Raman microspectroscopy and mass spectrum analysis, we found that: (1) up to 82 mole% methane exists in the primary inclusions hosted in the reservoir volcanic rocks; (2) high CH4 inclusions recognized in the volcanic rocks correspond to CH4-bearing CO2 reservoirs that are rich in helium and with a high 3He/4He ratio and which show reversed order of δ 13C in alkane; (3) in gas reservoirs of such abiotic methane (>80%) and a mix of CH4 and CO2, the enclosed content of CH4 in the volcanic inclusions is usually below 42 mole%, and the reversed order of δ 13C in alkane is sometimes irregular in the corresponding gas pools; (4) a glassy inclusion with a homogeneous temperature over 900°C also contains a small portion of CH4 although predominantly CO2. 3Three-Dimensional Heat Transfer Analysis for A Thermal Energy Storage Canister显示文摘High temperature latent thermal storage is one of the critical techniques for a solar dynamic power system. This paper presents results from heat transfer analysis of a phase change salt containment canister A three-dimensional analysis program is developed to model heat transfer in a PCM canister. Analysis include effects of asymmetric circumference heat flux, conduction in canister walls, liquid PCM and solid PCM, void volume change and void location, and conduction and radiation across PCM vapor void. The PCM phase change process is modeled using the enthalpy method and the simulation results are compared with those of other two- dimensional investigations. 4Fruit and vegetable consumption,cardiovascular disease,and all-cause mortality in China显示文摘Evidence about the response patterns of fruit and vegetable consumption with the risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD)and allcause mortality was inconsistent.These associations were examined using a large-scale,population-based Chinese cohort comprising 100,728 participants.A food-frequency questionnaire was used to assess fruit and vegetable consumption.Outcomes were ascertained by interviewing individuals or their proxies and checking hospital records or death certificates.Cox proportional hazards regression was used to calculate hazard ratios(HRs)with 95% confidence intervals(CIs).At the 736,668 person-years of follow-up,3,677 CVD cases and 5,466 deaths were identified.The multivariable-adjusted HRs for CVD across increasing quartiles of total fruit and vegetable consumption were 1(reference),0.94(95%CI=0.85-1.04),0.89(95%CI=0.80-0.98),and 0.85(95%CI=0.77-0.95).Moreover,participants in the highest quartile displayed a 13% lower risk of all-cause mortality(HR=0.87;95%CI=0.80-0.95).A nonlinear dose-response relation was found for CVD,without additional benefits beyond a consumption of600 g d-1,whereas the all-cause mortality risk decreased along with higher consumption,with a linear trend.These associations remained significant for fruit consumption but not for vegetable consumption.Our findings indicated that greater fruit and vegetable consumption was significantly associated with a lower risk of CVD and all-cause mortality.Increasing fruit and vegetable consumption,especially fruit,in the general population would prevent CVD and premature mortality.Jun Wang Fangchao Liu Jianxin Li Keyong Huang Xueli Yang Jichun Chen Xiaoqing Liu Jie Cao Shufeng Chen Chong Shen Ling Yu Fanghong Lu Xianping Wu Liancheng Zhao Ying Li Dongsheng Hu Jianfeng Huang Dongfeng Gu Xiangfeng Lu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,1:8
5Quantitative features of myoelectric signals in the orbicularis oculi muscle during different motion states显示文摘Artificial facial nerve prostheses are thought to restore eye-closed function in peripheral facial paralysis patients. At present,however,there is no adequate quantitative or qualitative information regarding myoelectric signal(MES) features for healthy orbicularis oculi muscle(OOM) . The present study analyzed MES features of normal OOM in rabbits during the natural continuous eye-opening(N1) state,natural continuous eye-closing(N2) state,natural blink(N3) state,and evoked eye-closing(E) state according to time domain and frequency domain analysis. Results showed that OOM electrical activities in N1 and N2 states,as well as myoelectric amplitude,were low and stable. Nevertheless,during N3 and E states,OOM electrical activities were significantly increased and amplitude was much higher in the E state than in the N3 state. In the time domain,differences in MES peak absolute potential were not significant between N1 and N2 states. In the frequency domain,differences in power spectral density peak frequency of electromyogram signals were significant between two sets of four OOM movement states. These results suggest that OOM significantly contracts and induces eyelid-closing action. In addition,OOM is diastolic during the N1 state. A N2 state does not require continuous intensive OOM contraction. 6Evidence of microstructures and fluid inclusions for the origin of polycrystalline quartz ribbons in high-grade metamorphic rocks in Daqingshan region显示文摘Polycrystalline quartz ribbons in high-grade metamorphic rocks from the Daqingshan region, are typi- cal microfabrics of, and provide information for, deep crust deformation and metamorphism. The quartz ribbons have straight boundaries and extend stably along gneissosity. They truncate other mineral grains in the rocks and may contain inclusions of such minerals that are lens-shaped and oriented. They frequently end into branching termination. Analysis fluid inclusions in polycrystalline quartz rib- bons reveal that the complex types of fluid inclusions are inhomogeneously distributed. They are ob- viously different from inclusions captured at granulite facies, in both fluid compositions and T-P esti- mations. Based on microfabric and fluid inclusion analysis, the polycrystalline quartz ribbons are suggested to be formed by SO2-rich fluids filling micro-fractures that are parallel to early gneissosity. The SO2 composition is derived from the deformed host rocks. 8Age,Genesis,and Tectonic Setting of the Mo-W Mineralized Dongshanwan Granite Porphyry from the Xilamulun Metallogenic Belt,NE China显示文摘The Xilamulun molybdenum polymetallic metallogenic belt in eastern Inner Mongolia forms one of the most important Mo metallogenic belts in northeastern China. The Dongshanwan porphyry Mo-W polymetallic deposit, in the northeastern part of the Xilamulun metallogenic belt, occurs along the periphery of a granite porphyry and consists of Mo-W-Ag sulfide and oxide disseminations and veinlets in hydrothermal assemblages. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating of the Dongshanwan granite porphyry yields a crystallization age of 142.15± 0.91 Ma, whereas molybdenite Re-Os isotopic dating model ages are of 139.9–141.5 Ma and an isochron age is of 140.5± 3.2 Ma(MSWD=1.2). The age consistency indicates that the Dongshanwan deposit was a product of Early Cretaceous magmatism. The Dongshanwan granite porphyry is a high-alkali high-potassium intrusion and has high SiO_2(75.39 wt.%–76.15 wt.%), low Al_2O_3(12 wt.%–13 wt.%), Ba, Ti, P, and Sr contents, with negative Eu anomalies. The Y/Nb ratios are comparable to those of average continental crust and island arc basalts, corresponding to type-A2 granites. 10Artificial facial nerve reflex restores eyelid closure following orbicularis oculi muscle denervation显示文摘To date,treatment of peripheral facial paralysis has focused on preservation of facial nerve integrity.However,with seriously damaged facial nerve cases,it is difficult to recover anatomical and functional integrity using present therapies.Therefore,the present study utilized artificial facial nerve reflex to obtain orbicularis oculi muscle(OOM) electromyography signals on the uninjured side through the use of implanted recording electrodes.The implanted electrical chips analyzed facial muscle motion on the uninjured side and triggered an electrical stimulator to emit current pulses,which resulted in stimulation of injured OOM contraction and maintained bilateral symmetry and consistency.Following signal recognition,extraction,and computer analysis,electromyography signals in the uninjured OOM resulted in complete eyelid closure,which was consistent with the voltage threshold for eye closure.These findings suggested that artificial facial nerve reflex through the use of implanted microelectronics in unilateral peripheral facial paralysis could restore eyelid closure following orbicularis oculi muscle denervation.Yujuan Wang Keyong Li Jingquan Liu Dongyue Xu Yuefeng Rui Chunsheng Yang 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,22:3
11The Impact on Extraction Effect of Polysaccharide from Ganoderma lucidum by Different Pretreatment显示文摘[Objectives] The research aimed to study the impact on extraction effect of polysaccharide from Ganoderma lucidum( lingzhi) by different pretreatment methods. [Methods] The impacts on extraction of G. lucidum polysaccharide by soaking,microwave and air flow fine pulverization were contrasted,and the extraction effect of G. lucidum polysaccharide by combining the optimal pretreatment manner with hot water extraction,alcohol extraction,alkali extraction,ultrasonic binding enzyme extraction,and microwave extraction was compared. Finally,the property of G. lucidum polysaccharide obtained after air flow fine pulverization pretreatment was detected and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. [Results] The optimal pretreatment method was air flow fine pulverization. Compared with traditional method-direct extraction( coarse grinding combining hot water extraction),crude yield changed little,while polysaccharide content and yield were improved by 114% and 104%. The best combination manner was air flow fine pulverization pretreatment combining with alkali extraction. Compared with traditional method,crude yield,polysaccharide content and yield were improved by 76%,78% and 215% respectively. The property of G. lucidum polysaccharide obtained after air flow fine pulverization pretreatment was detected and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the treatment method had little impact on the property of G. lucidum polysaccharide. [Conclusions]Air flow fine pulverization pretreatment could greatly improve extraction effect of G. lucidum polysaccharide,which mainly improved the content and yield of G. lucidum polysaccharide,and extraction was more complete,with less impact on the property of the extracted polysaccharide. 13Thermodynamic Functions and Phase Transformation of Metal Nanocrystals显示文摘A model to calculate the thermodynamic functions of the pure metal nanocrystals has been developed, with theconsideration of the effects of both the interfaces and the crystal in the nano-grain interior. As an example, theenthalpy, entropy and Gibbs free energy, as functions of the excess free volume at interfaces, temperature and grainsize, are calculated for the Co nanocrystals. Furthermore, the characteristics of phase transformationare studied, and the transformation temperatures at different levels of grain size, as well as the critical grain sizes atdifferent temperatures, are predicted. The calculation results show that, the nano-grained β-Co (fcc) is thermody-namically stable at temperatures much lower than that for the conventional coarse-grained materials, and may alsostably exist at room temperature when the grain size is reduced to be small enough. 14Zircon U-Pb geochronology,geochemistry and petrogenesis of syenogranite from Angeer Yinwula area in Inner Mongolia显示文摘The study presents the results of U-Pb dating of zircons and whole-rock geochemical analyses of syenogranite in Angeer Yinwula area, China, with the aim of determining its formation time, petrogenesis and regional setting. Zircon U-Pb data obtained by LA-ICP-MS indicate that the syenogranite formed in the Early Cretaceous(136.1±0.9 Ma). Geochemically, the rock is characterized by high SiO_2(76.63%--77.58%) and Na_2O+K_2O(8.00%--8.32%), low MgO(0.02%--0.04%) and TFe_2O_3(0.51%--0.84%), and is enriched in LREEs and LILEs, depleted in HREEs and HFSEs. It belongs to high-K calc-alkaline, metaluminous-weakly peraluminous, exhibiting an affinity to I-type granite. All these characteristics implied that the syenogranite in this region derived from crust-mantle mixed source. 15Thermodynamic Performances of[mmim]DMP/Methanol Absorption Refrigeration显示文摘In order to study the theoretical cycle characteristic of [mmim]DMP(1-methyl-3-methylimidazolium dimethylphosphate)/methanol absorption refrigeration,the modified UNIFAC group contribution model and the Wilson model are established through correlating the experimental vapor pressure data of [mmim]DMP/methanol at T=280~370K and methanol mole fraction x=0.529~0.965.Thermodynamic performances of absorption refrigeration utilizing [mmim]DMP/methanol,LiBr/H2O and H2O/NH3 are investigated and compared with each other under the same operating conditions.From the results,some conclusions are obtained as follows:1)the circulation ratio of the [mmim]DMP /methanol absorption refrigeration is higher than that of the LiBr/H2O absorption refrigeration,but still can be acceptable and tolerable.2)The COP of the [mmim]DMP/methanol absorption refrigeration is smaller than that of the LiBr/H2O absorption refrigeration,while it is higher than that of the H2O/NH3 absorption refrigeration under most operating conditions.3)The[mmim]DMP/methanol absorption refrigeration are still available with high COP when the heat source temperature is too high to drive LiBr/H2O absorption refrigeration.Wei Chen Shiqiang Liang Yongxian Guo Keyong Cheng Xiaohong Gui Dawei Tang 2012Journal of Thermal Science2012,21,6:2
16Research of Marine Sensor Web Based on SOA and EDA显示文摘A great deal of ocean sensor observation data exists, for a wide range of marine disciplines, derived from in situ and remote observing platforms, in real-time, near-real-time and delayed mode. Ocean monitoring is routinely completed using sensors and instruments. Standardization is the key requirement for exchanging information about ocean sensors and sensor data and for comparing and combining information from different sensor networks. One or more sensors are often physically integrated into a single ocean ‘instrument' device, which often brings in many challenges related to diverse sensor data formats, parameters units, different spatiotemporal resolution, application domains, data quality and sensors protocols. To face these challenges requires the standardization efforts aiming at facilitating the so-called Sensor Web, which making it easy to provide public access to sensor data and metadata information. In this paper, a Marine Sensor Web, based on SOA and EDA and integrating the MBARI's PUCK protocol, IEEE 1451 and OGC SWE 2.0, is illustrated with a five-layer architecture. The Web Service layer and Event Process layer are illustrated in detail with an actual example. 17Factors Controlling Deposition of Metallic Minerals in the Meng’entaolegai Ag-Pb-Zn Deposit, Inner Mongolia, China: Evidence from Fluid Inclusions, Isotope Systematics, and Thermodynamic Model显示文摘The Meng’entaolegai Ag-Pb-Zn vein-type deposit in Inner Mongolia,NE China is hosted in biotite/muscovite granite.This deposit includes the western(Zn-rich,deepest),middle(Zn-Pb rich)and eastern(Pb-Ag-rich,shallowest)ore-blocks.To better understand the metallogenic processes in ore district,we have undertaken a series of studies including fluid inclusion microthermometry,H-O-S-Pb isotope compositions and thermodynamic modeling.Based on fluid inclusion petrography,microthermometry results and HO isotope compositions,the ore-forming H2O-NaCl fluid inclusions are characterized by medium temperature and medium salinity.And two kinds of fluid processes(boiling in western and middle ore-block and fluid mixing in the eastern ore-block)were identified to explain the ore fluid evolution.More importantly,log ?O2-pH diagrams of δ^34S contours with the stability fields of Fe-and Cu-,Zn-,Pb-,and Ag-bearing minerals were constructed to restore the physicochemical conditions of ore-forming fluid in the western(270℃ and 80 bars),middle(250℃ and 70 bars),and eastern(230℃ and 50 bars)ore-blocks.As a result,the ore-forming conditions in the western and middle ore-block were similar.In the eastern ore-block,the fluids may have changed from acidic,S-poor and δ^34S(ΣS)≈2.8 to neutral,S-richer and δ^34S(ΣS)≈0.5,which imply that neutral S-rich meteoric water was mixed with the magmatic fluid.Meanwhile,the activity of Ag+was estimated to be about 10 ppm–9 ppm in the middle ore-block,but in the eastern ore-block it was about^10 ppm–12 ppm.We proposed that the key for Ag ore deposition was likely to be neutralization led by fluid mixing.He Yang Wanli Ma Rui Wang Xueli Ma Keyong Wang 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,2:2
18Kinetics and mechanism of thermal degradation of vegetable-tanned leather fiber显示文摘Thermal degradation of vegetable-tanned leather fiber(VLF)was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis aiming to know the exact kinetics and degradation mechanism.The thermogravimetric(TG)and differential thermogravimetric(DTG)curves showed that decomposition of the VLF occurs mainly in the range of 150-600℃,and the latter exhibits asymmetrical peak with a pronounced shoulder.The decomposition process was first analyzed by deconvolution of the experimental DTG curves,followed by reconstruction of the weight loss profiles of two individual processes.Several common isoconversional approaches were applied to calculate the activation energy over a wide range of conversion for the sample,including modified Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose(MKAS),Friedman,and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa.The average activation energy of vegetable-tanned leather fiber was found to be 241.9 kJ mol^(−1) by MKAS method.The activation energy values obtained for the pseudocomponents representing highly-crosslinked and low-crosslinked collagen in VLF were given as 190.6 and 124.8 kJ mol^(−1),respectively.Generalized master plots results suggested that the reaction mechanism for highly-crosslinked collagen follows the random nucleation and growth process at conversion values lower than 0.5.When the conversion is higher than 0.5,the mechanism tends to random scission model.For low-crosslinked collagen,the degradation is mainly governed by random nucleation and nuclei growth.The gaseous products of VLF thermal degradation were analyzed with an online-coupled TG-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy system.Jie Liu Lan Luo Yadi Hu Fang Wang Xuejing Zheng Keyong Tang 2019Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2019,1,1:2
19Adverse associations of sedentary behavior with cancer incidence and all-cause mortality:A prospective cohort study显示文摘Background:Inconsistent results have been reported in developed countries for relationships between sedentary behavior and cancer incidence and mortality,and evidence from the Chinese population is scarce.This study aimed to investigate such relationships in large Chinese population-based prospective cohorts and to explore the joint effect and interaction of sedentary behavior and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity(MVPA)on these relationships.Methods:We included 95,319 Chinese adults without cancer from 3 large cohorts and assessed their sedentary behavior and physical activity with a unified questionnaire.Cancer incidence and mortality were confirmed by interviewing participants or their proxies and checking hospital records and death certificates.Hazard ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(95%CIs)for cancer and mortality were estimated using Cox proportional hazards regression models.Results:During 559,002 person-years of follow-up,2388 cancer events,1571 cancer deaths,and 4562 all-cause deaths were recorded.Sedentary behavior was associated with increased risk of developing cancer and deaths in a doseresponse manner.The multivariable-adjusted HRs(95%CIs)were the following:HR=1.16,95%CI:1.01-1.33;HR=1.24,95%CI:1.04-1.48;and HR=1.15,95%CI:1.04-1.28 for cancer incidence,cancer mortality,and all-cause mortality,respectively,for those having≥10 h/day of sedentary time compared with those having<6 h/day of sedentary time.Sedentary populations(≥10 h/day)developed cancer or died 4.09 years and 2.79 years earlier,respectively,at the index age of 50 years.Failure to achieve the recommended level of MVPA may further aggravate the adverse associations,with the highest cancer and mortality risks being observed among participants with both≥10 h/day of sedentary time and<150 min/week of MVPA.Limitations of this study include the fact that physical activity information was obtained via questionnaire instead of objective measurement and that there were insufficient incident cases for the analysis of associations between sedentary behavior and site-specific cancers.Conclusion:Sedentary behavior was associated with an increased risk of cancer and all-cause mortality among Chinese adults,especially for those with≥10 h/day of sedentary time.It is necessary to reduce sedentary time,in addition to increasing MVPA levels,for the prevention of cancer and premature death.Yuan Lin Qiong Liu Fangchao Liu Keyong Huang Jianxin Li Xueli Yang Xinyan Wang Jichun Chen Xiaoqing Liu Jie Cao Chong Shen Ling Yu Fanghong Lu Xianping Wu Liancheng Zhao Ying Li Dongsheng Hu Xiangfeng Lu Jianfeng Huang Dongfeng Gu 2021Journal of Sport and Health Science2021,10,5:2
20Study design,general characteristics of participants,and preliminary findings from the metabolome,microbiome,and dietary salt intervention study(MetaSalt)显示文摘Background:High sodium intake is an important risk factor for hypertension and cardiovascular disease.However,the association between gut microbiota composition and metabolomic profiles with dietary sodium intake and blood pressure(BP)is not well-understood.The metabolome,microbiome,and dietary salt intervention(MetaSalt)study aimed to investigate microbial and metabolomic profiles related to dietary sodium intake and BP regulation.Methods:This family-based intervention study was conducted in four communities across three provinces in rural northern China in 2019.Probands with untreated prehypertension or stage-1 hypertension were identified through community-based BP screening,and family members including siblings,offspring,spouses,and parents were subsequently included.All participants participated in a 3-day baseline examination with usual diet consumption,followed by a 10-day low-salt diet(3 g/d of salt or 51.3 mmol/d of sodium)and a 10-day high-salt diet(18 g/d of salt or 307.8 mmol/d of sodium).Differences in mean BP levels were compared according to the intervention phases using a paired Student’s t-test.Results:A total of 528 participants were included in this study,with a mean age of 48.1 years,36.7%of whom were male,76.8%had a middle school(69.7%)or higher(7.1%)diploma,23.4%had a history of smoking,and 24.4%were current drinkers.The mean arterial pressure at baseline was 97.2±10.5 mm Hg for all participants,and significantly decreased during the low-salt intervention(93.8±9.3,P<0.0001)and subsequently increased during the high-salt intervention(96.4±10.0,P<0.0001).Conclusions:Our dietary salt intervention study has successfully recruited participants and will facilitate to evaluate the effects of gut microbiota and metabolites on BP regulation in response to sodium burden,which will provide important evidence for investigating the underlying mechanisms in the development of hypertension and subsequent cardiovascular diseases.Trial registration:The study was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry database(ChiCTR1900025171).Zengliang Ruan Jianxin Li Fangchao Liu Jie Cao Shufeng Chen Jichun Chen Keyong Huang Yaqin Wang Hongfan Li Yan Wang Zhongyu Xue Laiyuan Wang Jianfeng Huang Dongfeng Gu Xiangfeng Lu 2021Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine2021,7,4:1
