研究人群包括4666例最初接受BMS(n=3165)或DES(n=1501)经皮冠状动脉介入治疗的患者。 Eric L Eisenstein, DBA Kevin J. 4Artificial Intelligence in Steam Cracking Modeling: A Deep Learning Algorithm for Detailed Effluent Prediction显示文摘Chemical processes can bene t tremendously from fast and accurate ef uent composition prediction for plant design, control, and optimization. The Industry 4.0 revolution claims that by introducing machine learning into these elds, substantial economic and environmental gains can be achieved. The bottleneck for high-frequency optimization and process control is often the time necessary to perform the required detailed analyses of, for example, feed and product. To resolve these issues, a framework of four deep learning arti cial neural networks (DL ANNs) has been developed for the largest chemicals production process steam cracking. The proposed methodology allows both a detailed characterization of a naphtha feedstock and a detailed composition of the steam cracker ef uent to be determined, based on a limited number of commercial naphtha indices and rapidly accessible process characteristics. The detailed char- acterization of a naphtha is predicted from three points on the boiling curve and paraf ns, iso-paraf ns, ole ns, naphthenes, and aronatics (PIONA) characterization. If unavailable, the boiling points are also estimated. Even with estimated boiling points, the developed DL ANN outperforms several established methods such as maximization of Shannon entropy and traditional ANNs. For feedstock reconstruction, a mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.3 wt% is achieved on the test set, while the MAE of the ef uent predic- tion is 0.1 wt%. When combining all networks using the output of the previous as input to the next the ef uent MAE increases to 0.19 wt%. In addition to the high accuracy of the networks, a major bene t is the negligible computational cost required to obtain the predictions. On a standard Intel i7 processor, predictions are made in the order of milliseconds. Commercial software such as COILSIM1D performs slightly better in terms of accuracy, but the required central processing unit time per reaction is in the order of seconds. This tremendous speed-up and minimal accuracy loss make the presented framework highly suitable for the continuous monitoring of dif cult-to-access process parameters and for the envi- sioned, high-frequency real-time optimization (RTO) strategy or process control. Nevertheless, the lack of a fundamental basis implies that fundamental understanding is almost completely lost, which is not always well-accepted by the engineering community. In addition, the performance of the developed net- works drops signi cantly for naphthas that are highly dissimilar to those in the training set.Pieter PPlehiers Steffen HSymoens Ismaël Amghizar Guy B.Marin Christian V.Stevens Kevin M.Van Geem 2019Engineering2019,5,6:9
Endoscopic features of early-stage signet-ring-cell carcinoma of the stomach显示文摘AIM: To identify the features of early signet ring cell gastric carcinoma using magnification endoscopy with narrow band imaging(NBI).METHODS: A retrospective review was conducted of 12 cases of early signet ring cell gastric carcinoma who underwent treatment in a single institution between January 2009 and April 2013. All patients had magnification endoscopy with NBI and indigo carmine contrast to closely examine the mucosal architecture, including the microvasculature and arrangement of gastric pits. Histologic examination of the final endoscopic submucosal dissection or gastrectomy specimen was performed and compared with the endoscopic findings to identify patterns specific to signet ring cell carcinoma.RESULTS: Twelve patients with early signet ring cell gastric carcinoma were identified; 75% were male, and average age was 61 years. Most of the lesions were stage T1a(83%), while the remainder were T1b(17%). The mean lesion size was 1.4 cm2. On standard endoscopy, all 12 patients had a pale, flat lesion without any evidence of mucosal abnormality such as ulceration, elevation, or depression. On magnification endoscopywith NBI, all of the patients had irregularities in the glands and microvasculature consistent with early gastric cancer. In addition, all 12 patients exhibited the 'stretch sign', an elongation or expansion of the architectural structure. Histologic examination of the resected specimens demonstrated an expanded and edematous mucosal layer infiltrated with tumor cells.CONCLUSION: The 'stretch sign' appears to be specific for signet ring cell carcinoma and may aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of this aggressive pathology.Chainarong Phalanusitthepha Kevin L Grimes Haruo Ikeda Hiroki Sato Chiaki Sato Chananya Hokierti Haruhiro Inoue 2015World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2015,7,7:8

One stop shop:backbones trees for important phytopathogenic genera:Ⅰ(2014)显示文摘Many fungi are pathogenic on plants and cause significant damage in agriculture and forestry. They are also part of the natural ecosystem and may play a role in regulating plant numbers/density.Morphological identification and analysis of plant pathogenic fungi, while important,is often hampered by the scarcity of discriminatory taxonomic characters and the endophytic or inconspicuous nature of these fungi.Molecular(DNA sequence)data for plant pathogenic fungi have emerged as key information for diagnostic and classification studies, although hampered in part by non-standard laboratory practices and analytical methods. To facilitate current and future research, this study provides phylogenetic synopses for 25 groups of plant pathogenic fungi in the Ascomycota,Basidiomycota,Mucormycotina(Fungi),and Oomycota, using recent molecular data,up-to-date names, and the latest taxonomic insights.Lineagespecific laboratory protocols together with advice on their application,as well as general observations, are also provided. We hope to maintain updated backbone trees of these fungal lineages over time and to publish them jointly as new data emerge.Researchers of plant pathogenic fungi not covered by the present study are invited to join this future effort.Bipolaris,Botryosphaeriaceae,Botryosphaeria,Botrytis,Choanephora,Colletotrichum,Curvularia,Diaporthe,Diplodia,Dothiorella,Fusarium,Gilbertella,Lasiodiplodia,Mucor,Neofusicoccum,Pestalotiopsis,Phyllosticta,Phytophthora,Puccinia,Pyrenophora,Pythium,Rhizopus,Stagonosporopsis,Ustilago and Verticillium are dealt with in this paper.Kevin D.Hyde R.Henrik Nilsson S.Aisyah Alias Hiran A.Ariyawansa Jaime E.Blair Lei Cai Arthur W.A.M.de Cock Asha J.Dissanayake Sally L.Glockling Ishani D.Goonasekara Michal Gorczak Matthias Hahn Ruvishika S.Jayawardena Jan A.L.van Kan Matthew H.Laurence C.AndréLévesque Xinghong Li Jian-Kui Liu Sajeewa S.N.Maharachchikumbura Dimuthu S.Manamgoda Frank N.Martin Eric H.C.McKenzie Alistair R.McTaggart Peter E.Mortimer Prakash V.R.Nair Julia Pawlowska Tara L.Rintoul Roger G.Shivas Christoffel F.J.Spies Brett A.Summerell Paul W.J.Taylor Razak B.Terhem Dhanushka Udayanga Niloofar Vaghefi Grit Walther Mateusz Wilk Marta Wrzosek Jian-Chu Xu JiYe Yan Nan Zhou 2014Fungal Diversity2014,,4:3
Cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and tissue resident memory cells in colorectal cancer based on microsatellite instability and BRAF status显示文摘BACKGROUND Recent studies in non-colorectal malignancy have associated T resident memory(T_(RM)) cells with improved patient survival. It is unknown if T_(RM) plays a role in colorectal cancer(CRC).AIM To examine the potential role of T_(RM) cells in providing immunogenicity in CRC stratified by microsatellite instability(MSI) and BRAF status.METHODS Patients with known MSI and BRAF mutation status were eligible for inclusion in this study. CRC tumour sections stained with haematoxylin and eosin were microscopically reviewed and the images scanned prior to assessment for location of invading edge and core of tumour. Sequential sections were prepared for quantitative multiplex immunohistochemistry(IHC) staining. Opal Multiplex IHC staining was performed with appropriate positive and negative controls and imaged using a standard fluorescent microscope fitted with a spectral scanning camera(Mantra) in conjunction with Mantra snap software. Images were unmixed and annotated in in Form 2.2.0. Statistical analysis was performed using Graphpad Prism Version 7 and Stata Version 15.RESULTS Seventy-two patients with known MSI and BRAF status were included in the study. All patients were assessed for MSI by IHC and high resolution capillary electrophoresis testing and 44 of these patients successfully underwent quantitative multiplex IHC staining. Overall, there was a statistically significant increase in CD8+ T_(RM) cells in the MSI(BRAF mutant and wild type) group over the microsatellite stable(MSS) group. There was a statistically significant difference in CD8+ T_(RM) between high level MSI(MSI-H):BRAF mutant [22.57, 95% confidence interval(CI): 14.31-30.84] vs MSS [8.031(95%CI: 4.698-11.36)], P = 0.0076 and MSI-H:BRAF wild type [16.18(95%CI: 10.44-21.93)] vs MSS [8.031(95%CI: 4.698-11.36)], P = 0.0279. There was no statistically significant difference in CD8 T cells(both CD8+CD103-and CD8+CD103+T_(RM)) between MSI-H: BRAF mutant and wild type CRC.CONCLUSION This study has shown that CD8+ T_(RM) are found in greater abundance in MSI-H CRC, both BRAF mutant and MSI-H:BRAF wild type, when compared with their MSS counterpart. CD8+ T_(RM) may play a role in the immunogenicity in MSI-H CRC(BRAF mutant and BRAF wild type). Further studies should focus on the potential immunogenic qualities of T_(RM) cells and investigate potential immunotherapeutic approaches to improve treatment and survival associated with CRC.James Wei Tatt Toh Angela L Ferguson Kevin J Spring Hema Mahajan Umaimainthan Palendira 2021World Journal of Clinical Oncology2021,12,4:2
Image-guided therapies in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma: A multidisciplinary perspective显示文摘A multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) has led to improvements in screening, detection, and treatments. Interventional techniques includethermal ablation, transarterial chemoembolization, and radioembolization whilst stereotactic body radiation therapy also uses imaging to target the radiation. Both survival rates and cure rates have improved markedly since the introduction of these techniques. This review article describes the image guided techniques used for the treatment of HCC.Jonathon Willatt Kevin K Hannawa Julie A Ruma Timothy L Frankel Dawn Owen Pranab M Barman 2015World Journal of Hepatology2015,7,2:2

Evolution of non‑lichenized, saprotrophic species of Arthonia(Ascomycota,Arthoniales)and resurrection of Naevia, with notes on Mycoporum显示文摘Fungi that are barely lichenized or non-lichenized and closely related to lichenized taxa, the so-called borderline fungi, are an important element in reconstructing the evolutionary history of lichenized lineages.Arthoniaceae is a prime example including non-lichenized,saprotrophic lineages which potentially were precursors to lichenized taxa.In this study,we focused on saprotrophic species of Arthonia sensu lato, including new sequence data for Arthonia pinastri. We obtained fresh material of this taxon from a living branch of Fraxinus ornus in Italy to assess its taxonomic status and to elucidate its phylogenetic relationships within Arthonia.Thin sections of the thallus and ascomata of A.pinastri confirmed the absence of a photobiont.Maximum likelihood and Bayesian analyses of combined mtSSU,nuLSU and RPB2 sequence data placed the species close to A.dispersa(barely lichenized or non-lichenized)and A.punctiformis(non-lichenized)in a clade closely related to Arthonia sensu stricto, and the A.pinastri clade is here resurrected under the name Naevia.Ancestral character state analysis within a broader context of Arthoniales does not support the saprotrophic lifestyle to be a plesiomorphic feature, but suggests loss of lichenization in Naevia,as well as loss and possible regain in a second clade containing saprotrophic species and including taxa resembling Mycoporum, underlining the evolutionary plasticity of Arthoniales. These two clades constitute model taxa to further investigate the evolution of alternative biological lifestyles within the context of chiefly lichenized taxa.Vinodhini Thiyagaraja Robert Lücking Damien Ertz Dhanushka N.Wanasinghe Samantha C.Karunarathna Erio Camporesi Kevin D.Hyde 2020Fungal Diversity2020,,3:2

Naming and outline of Dothideomycetes-2014 including proposals for the protection or suppression of generic names显示文摘Article 59.1,of the International Code of Nomenclature for Algae,Fungi, and Plants(ICN;Melbourne Code),which addresses the nomenclature of pleomorphic fungi, became effective from 30 July 2011.Since that date, each fungal species can have one nomenclaturally correct name in a particular classification. All other previously used names for this species will be considered as synonyms. The older generic epithet takes priority over the younger name.Any widely used younger names proposed for use, must comply with Art.57.2 and their usage should be approved by the Nomenclature Committee for Fungi(NCF).In this paper,we list all genera currently accepted by us in Dothideomycetes(belonging to 23 orders and 110 families),including pleomorphic and nonpleomorphic genera. In the case of pleomorphic genera,we follow the rulings of the current ICN and propose single generic names for future usage. The taxonomic placements of 1261 genera are listed as an outline.Protected names and suppressed names for 34 pleomorphic genera are listed separately.Notes and justifications are provided for possible proposed names after the list of genera.Notes are also provided on recent advances in our understanding of asexual and sexual morph linkages in Dothideomycetes.A phylogenetic tree based on four gene analyses supported 23 orders and 75 families, while 35 families still lack molecular data.Nalin N.Wijayawardene Pedro W.Crous Paul M.Kirk David L.Hawksworth Saranyaphat Boonmee Uwe Braun Dong-Qin Dai Melvina J.D’souza Paul Diederich Asha Dissanayake Mingkhuan Doilom Singang Hongsanan E.B.Gareth Jones Johannes Z.Groenewald Ruvishika Jayawardena James D.Lawrey Jian-Kui Liu Robert Lücking Hugo Madrid Dimuthu S.Manamgoda Lucia Muggia Matthew P.Nelsen Rungtiwa Phookamsak Satinee Suetrong Kazuaki Tanaka Kasun M.Thambugala Dhanushka N.Wanasinghe Saowanee Wikee Ying Zhang Andre Aptroot H.A.Ariyawansa Ali H.Bahkali D.Jayarama Bhat Cécile Gueidan Putarak Chomnunti G.Sybren De Hoog Kerry Knudsen Wen-Jing Li Eric H.C.McKenzie Andrew N.Miller Alan J.L.Phillips Marcin Piatek Huzefa A.Raja Roger S.Shivas Bernad Slippers Joanne E.Taylor Qing Tian Yong Wang Joyce H.C.Woudenberg Lei Cai Walter M.Jaklitsch Kevin D.Hyde 2014Fungal Diversity2014,,6:2
Effect of weekend admission on geriatric hip fractures显示文摘BACKGROUND The care discrepancy for patients presenting to a hospital on the weekend relative to the work week is well documented. With respect to hip fractures, however, there is no consensus about the presence of a so-called“weekend effect”.This study sought to determine the effects,if any,of weekend admission on care of geriatric hip fractures admitted to a large tertiary care hospital. It was hypothesized that geriatric hip fracture patients admitted on a weekend would have longer times to medical optimization and surgery and increased complication and mortality rates relative to those admitted on a weekday.AIM To determine if weekend admission of geriatric hip fractures is associated with poor outcome measures and surgical delay.METHODS A retrospective chart review of operative geriatric hip fractures treated from 2015-2017 at a large tertiary care hospital was conducted. Two cohorts were compared:patients who arrived at the emergency department on a weekend, and those that arrived at the emergency department on a weekday.Primary outcome measures included mortality rate, complication rate, transfusion rate, and length of stay.Secondary outcome measures included time from emergency department arrival to surgery, time from emergency department arrival to medical optimization, and time from medical optimization to surgery.RESULTS There were no statistically significant differences in length of stay(P=0.2734),transfusion rate(P=0.9325),or mortality rate(P=0.3460)between the weekend and weekday cohorts.Complication rate was higher in patients who presented on a weekend compared to patients who presented on a weekday(13.3%vs 8.3%;P=0.044).Time from emergency department arrival to medical optimization(22.7 h vs 20.0 h;P=0.0015),time from medical optimization to surgery(13.9 h vs 10.8 h;P=0.0172),and time from emergency department arrival to surgery(42.7 h vs 32.5 h;P<0.0001)were all significantly longer in patients who presented to the hospital on a weekend compared to patients who presented to the hospital on a weekday.CONCLUSION This study provided insight into the“weekend effect”for geriatric hip fractures and found that day of presentation has a clinically significant impact on delivered care.Jordan B Pasternack Matthew L Ciminero Michael Silver Joseph Chang Ronald J Simon Kevin K Kang 2020World Journal of Orthopedics2020,11,9:2
