| 2 | An in vitro evaluation of novel NHA/zircon plasma coating on 316L stainless steel dental implant显示文摘The surface characteristics of an implant that influence the speed and strength of osseointegration include crystal structure and bioactivity. The aim of this study was to evaluate the bioactivity of a novel natural hydroxyapatite/zircon(NHA/zircon) nanobiocomposite coating on 316L stainless steel(SS) dental implants soaking in simulated body fluid. A novel NHA/zircon nanobiocomposite was fabricated with 0(control),5, 10, and 15 wt% of zircon in NHA using ball mill for 1 h. The composite mixture was coated on SS implants using a plasma spray method.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to evaluate surface morphology, and X-ray diffraction(XRD) was used to analyze phase composition and crystallinity(Xc). Further, calcium ion release was measured to evaluate the coated nanobiocomposite samples. The prepared NHA/zircon coating had a nanoscale morphological structure with a mean crystallite size of 30–40 nm in diameter and a bone-like composition,which is similar to that of the biological apatite of a bone. For the prepared NHA powder, high bioactivity was observed owing to the formation of apatite crystals on its surface. | 3 | 抗菌剂效果和 Zataria multiflora Boiss 的香精油的物理化学的性质显示文摘 <正>Objective:To evaluate the antibacterial effect and physicochemical properties of essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss.Methods:Antibacterial activity of essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss was assessed by agar disc diffusion and minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) was tested by E test.Results:The essential oil of Zataria multiflora Boiss was effective on pathogenic bacteria particularly Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus).The MIC values of the target cultures ranged from 0.39 mg/mL to 1.56 mg/mL.The physicochemical properties like effects of pH, temperature,detergents,and enzymes on the activity of essential oil from Zataria multiflora Boiss were also determined.The essential oil was quite stable to temperature as tested against 5. aureus and Escherichia coli(E.coli).The essential oil was very stable over a wide range of pH. | 6 | Empirical investigation of the cooling performance of a new designed Trombe wall in combination with solar chimney and water spraying system显示文摘This paper presents an experimental study of a new designed Trombe wall in combination with solar chimney and water spraying system in a test room under Yazd(Iran) desert climate.The Trombe wall area is 50% of that of the southern wall of the building that occupies less space and reduces the implementation costs. The new design of the channel has caused the absorber to receive the solar radiation from three directions. Based on the results, the optimum mass flow rate and the nozzle diameter of the water spraying system has been obtained 10 l/h and 30 μm, respectively. The results indicate that the water spraying system decreases indoor temperature and increases indoor relative humidity by about 8 ℃ and 17%, respectively. The most effect of outdoor relative humidity variation is on indoor relative humidity, rather than indoor temperature. When outdoor temperature increases, both indoor relative humidity and the difference between indoor and outdoor relative humidity decreases. In particular, the energy efficiency of residential buildings is considered a top priority of a country's energy policy. The paper proposes a genetic programming-based framework for estimating the energy performance of residential buildings. The objective is to build a model able to predict the heating load and the cooling load of residential buildings. An accurate prediction of these parameters facilitates a better control of energy consumption and, moreover, it helps choosing the energy supplier that better fits the energy needs,which is considered an important issue in the deregulated energy market. The proposed framework blends a recently developed version of genetic programming with a local search method and linear scaling. The resulting system enables us to build a model that produces an accurate estimation of both considered parameters. Extensive simulations on 768 diverse residential buildings confirm the suitability of the proposed method in predicting heating load and cooling load.
