Implementing single-scale wavelet transform processor with magnetostatic surface wave device显示文摘When the envelope of the conducting strips for the input transducer of magnetostatic surface wave(MSSW) device is designed according to the wavelet-function envelope, the impulse-response function of the input transducer for MSSW device is equal to the wavelet function,so that single-scale wavelet-transform processor of MSSW type is fabricated.First, according to the envelope function of the wavelet, the length function of the conducting strips is defined, then, the lengths of the conducting strips can be calculated from the length function of the conducting strips, finally, the input transducer can be designed according to the lengths and widths for the conducting strips. The compensation method of the insertion loss for single-scale wavelet trans-form processor of MSSW type is also given in the paper. When the output end of single-scale wavelet transform processor of MSSW type is connected to the amplifier, its insertion loss can be compensated. | LU WenKe ZHU ChangChun KUANG Lun ZHANG Ting LIU JunHua | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6: | 6
Photochemistry and pharmacology of 9,19-cyclolanostane glycosides isolated from genus Cimicifuga显示文摘The constituents of Cimicifuga plants have been extensively investigated, and the principal metabolites are 9, 19-cyclolanostane triterpenoid glycosides, which often exhibit extensive pharmacological activities. 9, 19-Cyclolanostane triterpenoid glycosides are distributed widely in genus Cimicifuga rather than in other members of the Ranunculaceae family. So far, more than 140 cycloartane triterpene glycosides have been isolated from Cimicifuga spp.. The aim of this review was to summarize all 9, 19-cyclolanostane triterpenoid glycosides based on the available relevant scientific literatures from 2000 to 2014. Biological studies of cycloartane triterpene glycosides from Cimicifuga spp. are also discussed. | SU Yang CHI Wen-Cheng WU Lun WANG Qiu-Hong KUANG Hai-Xue | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2016,14,10: | 5
Spirulina platensis aqueous extracts ameliorate colonic mucosal damage and modulate gut microbiota disorder in mice with ulcerative colitis by inhibiting inflammation and oxidative stress显示文摘Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a chronic and recurrent inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)that has become a major gastroenterologic problem during recent decades.Numerous complicating factors are involved in UC development such as oxidative stress, inflammation, and microbiota disorder. These factors exacerbate damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier.Spirulina platensis is a commercial alga with various biological activity that is widely used as a functional ingredient in food and beverage products. However, there have been few studies on the treatment of UC using S.platensis aqueous extracts(SP),and the underlying mechanism of action of SP against UC has not yet been elucidated.Herein,we aimed to investigate the modulatory effect of SP on microbiota disorders in UC mice and clarify the underlying mechanisms by which SP alleviates damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier.Dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)was used to establish a normal human colonic epithelial cell(NCM460)injury model and UC animal model. The mitochondrial membrane potential assay 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)and staining with Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)/propidium iodide(PI)and Hoechst 33258 were carried out to determine the effects of SP on the NCM460 cell injury model. Moreover, hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining, transmission electron microscopy(TEM),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blot, and 16S ribosomal DNA(rDNA)sequencing were used to explore the effects and underlying mechanisms of action of SP on UC in C57BL/6 mice.In vitro studies showed that SP alleviated DSS-induced NCM460 cell injury.SP also significantly reduced the excessive generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)and prevented mitochondrial membrane potential reduction after DSS challenge. In vivo studies indicated that SP administration could alleviate the severity of DSS-induced colonic mucosal damage compared with the control group.Inhibition of inflammation and oxidative stress was associated with increases in the activity of antioxidant enzymes and the expression of tight junction proteins(TJs)post-SP treatment.SP improved gut microbiota disorder mainly by increasing antioxidant enzyme activity and the expression of TJs in the colon. Our findings demonstrate that the protective effect of SP against UC is based on its inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine overproduction, inhibition of DSS-induced ROS production, and enhanced expression of antioxidant enzymes and TJs in the colonic mucosal barrier. | Jian WANG Liqian SU Lun ZHANG Jiali ZENG Qingru CHEN Rui DENG Ziyan WANG Weidong KUANG Xiaobao JIN Shuiqing GUI Yinghua XU Xuemei LU | 2022 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,6: | 3
Probiotics with anti-type 2 diabetes mellitus properties:targets of polysaccharides from traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides is a biologically active ingredient that is not easy to be digested. It is fermented by intestinal microflora to promote qualitative and selective changes in the composition of the intestinal microbiome, which often result in beneficial effects on the health of the host.People call it“prebiotics”.In this review,we systematically summarized the anti-diabetic effect of traditional Chinese medicine polysaccharides. These polysaccharides regulate the metabolism of sugar and lipids by inter-influence with the intestinal microflora, and maintain human health, while improving type 2 diabetes-like symptoms such as high blood glucose, and abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism. | Lun WU Yue GAO Yang SU Jing LI Wen-Chen REN Qiu-Hong WANG Hai-Xue KUANG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2022,20,9: | 3
Cycloartenol triterpenoid saponins from Cimicifuga simplex(Ranunculaceae) and their biological effects显示文摘The constituents of Cimicifuga plants have been extensively investigated, and the principal metabolites are 9,19-cyclolanostane triterpenoid glycosides, which are distributed widely in Cimicifuga plants, but not in other members of the Ranunculaceae family, and are considered to be characteristics of the Cimicifuga genus. This type of triterpenoid glycoside possesses several important biological activities. More than 120 cycloartane triterpene glycosides have been isolated from Cimicifuga simplex Wormsk. The aim of this review article is to summarize all the major findings based on the available scientific literatures on C. simplex, with a focus on the identified 9,19-cyclolanostane triterpenoid glycosides. | 6 | Pyk2 suppresses contextual fear memory in an autophosphorylation-independent manner显示文摘Clustered protocadherins(Pcdhs)are a large family of cadherin-like cell adhesion proteins that are central for neurite selfavoidance and neuronal connectivity in the brain.Their downstream nonreceptor tyrosine kinase Pyk2(proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2,also known as Ptk2b,Cakb,Raftk,Fak2,and Cadtk)is predominantly expressed in the hippocampus. We constructed Pyk2-null mouse lines and found that these mutant mice showed enhancement in contextual fear memory, without significant change in auditory-cued and spatial-referenced learning and memory. In addition,by preparing Y402F mutant mice,we observed that Pyk2 suppressed contextual fear memory in an autophosphorylation-independent manner. Moreover, using high-throughput RNA sequencing,we found that immediate early genes, such as Npas4,cFos,Zif268/Egr1,Arc,and Nr4a1,were enhanced in Pyk2-null mice.We further showed that Pyk2 disruption affected pyramidal neuronal complexity and spine dynamics. Thus,we demonstrated that Pyk2 is a novel fear memory suppressor molecule and Pyk2-null mice provide a model for understanding fearrelated disorders. These findings have interesting implications regarding dysregulation of the Pcdh–Pyk2 axis in neuropsychiatric disorders. | Jin Zheng Lun Suo Yuxiao Zhou Liling Jia Jingwei Li Yanping Kuang Donghong Cui Xuehong Zhang Qiang Wu | 2021 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2021,13,11: | 0
