3Exogenous Melatonin Improves Physiological Characteristics and Promotes Growth of Strawberry Seedlings Under Cadmium Stress显示文摘Melatonin,as a plant growth regulator,is involved in plant stress resistance.We studied the effects of different concentrations(0,10,50,100,150,and 200μmol·L−1)of melatonin on the growth and physiological characteristics of strawberry under cadmium(Cd)stress.The results represented that the growth of strawberry seedlings was inhibited under Cd stress,and the seedling biomass,chlorophyll content and the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD),catalase(CAT),and ascorbate peroxidase(APX)decreased.These toxic effects were,however,effectively remediated by exogenous melatonin pretreatment.Melatonin treatment slowed the inhibitory effect of seedling growth and significantly increased seedling biomass,chlorophyll content,antioxidant enzyme activities,and soluble protein levels in leaves and roots compared with the control.Melatonin treatment also reduced the malondialdehyde(MDA)content and the oxidative stress reactions,increased the anthocyanin content,and slowed the senescence rate,thereby reducing the toxic effects of Cd on strawberries.This indicates that foliar application of melatonin can effectively remediate the adverse effects of Cd on strawberry seedlings;the greatest effect was obtained with melatonin concentration of 100μmol·L−1.Shuqing Wu Yao Wang Junkang Zhang Xiaojun Gong Zhen Zhang Jingjing Sun Xuesen Chen Yanling Wang 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,1:6
4Fixed-Time Output Consensus Tracking for High-Order Multi-Agent Systems With Directed Network Topology and Packet Dropout显示文摘This paper studies the problem of fixed-time output consensus tracking for high-order multi-agent systems(MASs)with directed network topology with consideration of data packet dropout.First,a predictive compensation based distributed observer is presented to compensate for packet dropout and estimate the leader’s states.Next,stability analysis is conducted to prove fixed time convergence of the developed distributed observer.Then,adaptive fixed-time dynamic surface control is designed to counteract mismatched disturbances introduced by observation error,and stabilize the tracking error system within a fixed time,which overcomes explosion of complexity problem and singularity problem.Finally,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the consensus tracking strategy proposed.The contribution of this paper is to provide a fixed-time distributed observer design method for high-order MAS under directed graph subject to packet dropout,and a novel fixed-time control strategy which can handle mismatched disturbances and overcome explosion of complexity and singularity problem.Junkang Ni Peng Shi Yu Zhao Zhonghua Wu 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,4:3
5Protective mechanisms of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb in dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis as determined by a network pharmacology approach显示文摘Previous studies reported that Agrimonia pilosa (AP) Ledeb possessed diverse biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-tumor activities. However, the effect of AP on ulcerative colitis (UC) remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the therapeutic effect and mechanisms of AP on dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis. The potential constituents of AP were investigated by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS). A total of 13 compounds were recognized by UPLC-Q-TOF/MS chromatogram. Furthermore, a network pharmacology approach revealed that there are 297 candidate targets of UC and 549 common targets for the 13 active ingredients of AP. GO enrichment and KEGG pathway analysis indicated that AP might have a protective effect on UC through the nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) and nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor signaling pathways. Subsequent experimental validation in a DSS-induced colitis model revealed that AP alleviated the severity of DSS-induced colitis, reduced the production of proinflammatory factors, and protected against the loss of intestinal integrity. Moreover, AP inhibited the phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 and the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. 14Conductivity and Oxidation Behavior of Fe-16Cr Alloy as Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Interconnect Under Long-Stability and Thermal Cycles显示文摘Conductivity and oxidation behavior of Fe-16Cr alloy were investigated under long-term stability operation at 750℃and thermal cycles from room temperature to 750℃.The results showed that the area specific resistance(ASR)of Fe-16Cr alloy increased over time and reached about 56.29 mΩcm~(2)after 40,000 h of long-term stability operation at 750℃by theoretical calculation.The ASR of Fe-16Cr remained about 11 mΩcm~(2)after 52 thermal cycles from room temperature to750℃.The analysis of structure showed that the oxidized phase on the surface of Fe-16Cr was mainly composed of Cr_(2)O_3and Fe Cr_(2)O_(4)spinel phase under long-term stability operation at 750℃.While the Cr_(2)O_(3)phase was mainly observed on the surface of Fe-16Cr alloy after 52 thermal cycles,the oxidation rates of Fe-16Cr alloy were 0.0142μm h~(-1)and 0.06μm cycle~(-1)under long-term stability operation and under thermal cycle,respectively.The property of Fe-16Cr alloy with 2.6 mm thickness met the lifespan requirement of interconnect for solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)stacks.The Cr element all diff used onto oxidation surface,indicating that it was necessary to spray a coating on the surface to avoid poisoning cell cathode of SOFCs.Two 2-cell stacks were assembled and tested to verify the properties of Fe-16Cr alloy as SOFC interconnect under long-term stability operation and thermal cycle condition.Jianwu Zhou Qiangfeng Chen Junkang Sang Rongmin Wu Zhuobin Li Wanbing Guan 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,5:1
