2Single-center Experience in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Hepatic Perivascular Epithelioid Cell Neoplasm显示文摘Background and Aims:Perivascular epithelioid cell neo-plasms(PEComas)are a rare type of mesenchymal neo-plasm and their preoperative diagnosis is challenging.In this study,we summarized the experience from a single medical center to study the examinations,clinical presen-tations,and pathological and histological characteristics of PEComas in the liver in order to optimize overall un-derstanding of the diagnosis and treatment of these neo-plasms.Methods:We conducted a retrospective analysis to investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics as well as imaging presentations of 75 patients diagnosed with hepatic PEComa in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhe-jiang University between April 2010 and April 2020.Re-sults:Among the 75 patients,52 were women,and the median age was 48 years.Most patients had no specific symptoms,and two were admitted to the hospital for a second time owing to relapse.All patients underwent surgi-cal resection.Histologically,38 patients had classical angio-myolipoma(AML)and 37 had epithelioid AML.The PECo-mas were accompanied by positive immunohistochemical expression of HMB45,Melan-A,and smooth muscle actin.Follow-up data were obtained from 47 of the total 75 pa-tients,through October 2020.Two patients had metastasis after surgery.Conclusions:AML is the most common type of hepatic PEComa.There are no specific symptoms of he-patic PEComa,and serological examinations and imaging modalities for accurate preoperative diagnosis are lacking.Epithelioid AML should be considered a tumor of uncertain malignant potential;however,the prognosis of PEComa af-ter resection is promising.Junjun Jia Jia Luo Cheng-Gen Pan Guomei Ge Meibao Feng Bei Zou Li Liu Shusen Zheng Jun Yu 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1:5
3Physiological,Biochemical and Molecular Responses of Barley Seedlings to Aluminum Stress显示文摘Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)is one of the most Aluminum(Al)sensitive cereal species.In this study,the physiological,biochemical,and molecular response of barley seedlings to Al treatment was examined to gain insight into Al response and tolerance mechanisms.The results showed that superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD)and catalase(CAT)activity were inhibited to different degrees following Al exposure.The MDA content also significantly increased with increasing Al concentrations.SRAP results indicated significant differences between Al treatments and controls in terms of SRAP profile,and the genomic template stability(GTS)decreased with increasing Al concentration and duration.These integrative results help to elucidate the underlying mechanisms that the barley response to Al toxicity.Xiaoqin Zhang Tao Tong Bin Tian Yunxia Fang Jiangjie Pan Junjun Zheng Dawei Xue 2019Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,3:2

6Metaverse virtual social center for elderly communication in time of social distancing显示文摘Background The lack of social activities among the elderly due to physical limitations can result in loneliness and depression. The spread of COVID-19 has made it difficult for the elderly to conduct stable social activities, increasing feelings of loneliness. The metaverse is a virtual world that mirrors reality. This allows the elderly to overcome the constraints of reality and perform social activities stably and continuously, providing new ideas for alleviating loneliness. Methods By analyzing their needs, a virtual social center framework for the elderly was proposed in this study. In addition, a prototype system was designed according to this framework. The elderly can socialize in virtual reality with metaverse-related technologies and human–computer interaction tools. Additionally, a test was conducted jointly with the chief physician of the geriatric rehabilitation department of a tertiary hospital. Results The results demonstrated that the mental state of the elderly who had used the virtual social center was significantly better than that of those who had not used it. Conclusions Thus, virtual social centers can help relieve loneliness and depression among the elderly with increasing global epidemics and an aging society. 8Synthesis of Uniform Silver Nanoparticles by a Microwave Method in Polyethylene Glycol with the Assistant of Polyvinylpyrrolidone显示文摘We described a method for the rapid synthesis of uniform silver nanoparticles(NPs) under microwave heating, using poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) as reducing agent and solvent and poly(vinylpyrrolidinone)(PVP) as capping agent. The transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and UV-Vis extinction spectra were used to characterize the size and uniformity of the silver NPs. At the same reaction temperature, the products with microwave heating were more uniform than that with oil heating. We also investigated the influence of reaction temperature, microwave power, and molar ratio of PVP to AgNO3. 9Surface charge property governing co-transport of illite colloids and Eu(Ⅲ) in saturated porous media显示文摘The transport of colloids and radionuclides is sophisticated because of the variety of charge properties between colloidal particles and host subsurface media, which causes great difficulty in establishing a reliable model of radionuclides migration by taking the colloid phase into consideration. In this work,the co-transport of illite colloids(IC) and Eu(Ⅲ) in the quartz sand and iron-coated sand porous media was investigated by column experiments to address the predominant mechanism of charge properties on co-transport. Results showed that Eu(Ⅲ) transport was driven by the illite colloids and electrostatic interaction was critical in governing the co-transport patterns. The promotion of Eu(Ⅲ) transport by IC was attenuated in the iron-coated sand systems;more IC-Eu(Ⅲ) complexes were retained uniformly in the column. The pore throat shrinkage caused by electrostatic attachment between aggregated IC and iron oxides exacerbated the physical straining and size exclusion effect of IC-Eu(Ⅲ) complexes. An aggravated irreversible retention of IC-Eu(Ⅲ) was detected in iron-coated sand column due to the electrostatic attraction of IC-Eu(Ⅲ) to host media. 11Strong coupling between a plasmon mode and multiple different exciton states显示文摘Strong coupling between plasmons and multiple different exciton states(MESs)enables the creation of multiple hybrid polariton states under ambient conditions.These hybrid states possess unique optical properties different from those of their separate identities,making them ideal candidates for exploiting room-temperature multimode hybridization and multiqubit operation.In this study,we revealed the static spectral response properties of plasmon-MES strong coupling via a fully quantum mechanics approach.These theoretical predictions were experimentally demonstrated in plasmonic nanocavities containing two and three different exciton species.Additionally,the dynamical absorption processes of such strong coupling systems were investigated,and results indicated that the damping of the hybrid polariton states induced by the strong coupling could be markedly modulated by the acoustic oscillations from the plasmonic nanocavities.Our findings contribute a theoretical approach for accurately describing the plasmon-MES interactions and a platform for developing the high-speed active plasmonic devices based on multiqubit strong coupling.Junjun Ye Yatao Pan Guanghui Liu Wei Li Renming Liu Ming Geng Zhixiang Liu Zhen Chi Xia Ran Yanmin Kuang Yulu He Lijun Guo 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,4:0
12Augmented reality-based visual-haptic modeling for thoracoscopic surgery training systems显示文摘Background Compared with traditional thoracotomy,video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS)has less minor trauma,faster recovery,higher patient compliance,but higher requirements for surgeons.Virtual surgery training simulation systems are important and have been widely used in Europe and America.Augmented reality(AR)in surgical training simulation systems significantly improve the training effect of virtual surgical training,although AR technology is still in its initial stage.Mixed reality has gained increased attention in technology-driven modern medicine but has yet to be used in everyday practice.Methods This study proposed an immersive AR lobectomy within a thoracoscope surgery training system,using visual and haptic modeling to study the potential benefits of this critical technology.The content included immersive AR visual rendering,based on the cluster-based extended position-based dynamics algorithm of soft tissue physical modeling.Furthermore,we designed an AR haptic rendering systems,whose model architecture consisted of multi-touch interaction points,including kinesthetic and pressure-sensitive points.Finally,based on the above theoretical research,we developed an AR interactive VATS surgical training platform.Results Twenty-four volunteers were recruited from the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province to evaluate the VATS training system.Face,content,and construct validation methods were used to assess the tactile sense,visual sense,scene authenticity,and simulator performance.Conclusions The results of our construction validation demonstrate that the simulator is useful in improving novice and surgical skills that can be retained after a certain period of time.The video-assisted thoracoscopic system based on AR developed in this study is effective and can be used as a training device to assist in the development of thoracoscopic skills for novices.Yonghang TAI Junsheng SHI Junjun PAN Aimin HAO Victor CHANG 2021Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware2021,3,4:0

14Carbonized polymer dots enhanced stability and flexibility of quasi-2D perovskite photodetector显示文摘Quasi-2D perovskites have been demonstrated to be competitive materials in the photodetection fields due to the enhanced moisture stability by large organic cations.However,as the increasing demands of modern technology,it is still challenging to combine the flexibility with the capability of weak light detection in a low-cost way.Here,amides,carboxylic acids,and anhydrides groups-rich carbonized polymer dots(CPDs)were employed to fll in the perovskite grain boundaries,which can passivate the point defects of perovskite by coordinating with the unbonded Pb atoms,and reduce the leakage current.Weak light detection capability was demonstrated by directly resolving light with an intensity of 10.1 pW cm^(-2).More importantly,the stretchable polymer chains on CPDs strongly interact with perovskite ions through multiple supramolecular interactions,and extend the stretchable properties to the perovskite/CPDs composites,which can maintain the integral structure stability during the deformation of perovskite crystals and restricted any crack by releasing the flm strain.Our fabricated devices show extraordinary flexible stability in the bending-dependent response tests.The viscoelasticity of CPDs improves the bending stability of the flexible quasi-2D perovskite photodetectors,and device performance shows no degradation after bending 10000 times,comparable or even outperforming the dominating flexible photodetectors.Mingrui Tan Mingbian Li Wanting Pan Xiaopeng Feng Yuhong He Junjun Liu Fengxia Dong Haotong Wei Bai Yang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,11:0
15Research on the improvement of the LaneGCN trajectory prediction algorithm显示文摘The LaneGCN proposed by Uber has achieved good performance in trajectory prediction, but it has shortcomings in capturing longrange information, expressing road information and modelling the strong and weak relationships of interaction between actors. Inthis paper, the LaneGCN is improved from three parts. Firstly, multi-scale long short-term memory is introduced to encode multiscaletrajectory information. Secondly, relative distance information is added to enhance the spatial expressive capacity of themodelin the process of road information encoding. Finally, we build a weighted interaction model based on Graph Attention Networksin the process of road information encoding. In order to verify the performance of the improved model, ablation and comparisonexperiments are designed in this paper.
