A journey to understand wheat Fusarium head blight resistance in the Chinese wheat landrace Wangshuibai显示文摘Fusarium head blight(FHB) or scab caused by Fusarium graminearum is a major threat to wheat production in China as well as in the world. To combat this disease, multiple efforts have been carried out internationally. In this article, we review our long-time effort in identifying the resistance genes and dissecting the resistance mechanisms by both forward and reverse genetics approaches in the last two decades. We present recent progress in resistance QTL identification, candidate functional gene discovery, marker-assisted improvement of FHB resistant varieties, and findings in investigating association of signal molecules, such as Ca^(++),SA, JA, and ET, with FHB response, with the assistance from rapidly growing genomics platforms. The information will be helpful for designing novel and efficient approaches to curb FHB.Haiyan Jia Jiyang Zhou Shulin Xue Guoqiang Li Haisheng Yan Congfu Ran Yiduo Zhang Jinxing Shi Li Jia Xin Wang Jing Luo Zhengqiang Ma 2018The Crop Journal2018,6,1:24

Bibliometric analysis and system review of vehicle routing optimization for emergency material distribution显示文摘Determining the optimal vehicle routing of emergency material distribution(VREMD)is one of the core issues of emergency management, which is strategically important to improve the effectiveness of emergency response and thus reduce the negative impact of large-scale emergency events. To summarize the latest research progress,we collected 511VREMD-related articles published from 2010 to the present from the Scopus database and conducted a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software.Subsequently,we cautiously selected 49 articles from these publications for system review;sorted out the latest research progress in model construction and solution algorithms;and summarized the evolution trend of keywords, research gaps, and future works. The results show that domestic scholars and research organizations held an unqualified advantage regarding the number of published papers. However, these organizations with the most publications performed poorly regarding the number of literature citations.China and the US have contributed the vast majority of the literature, and there are close collaborations between researchers from both countries. The optimization model of VREMD can be divided into single-,multi-,and joint-objective models. The shortest travel time is the most common optimization objective in the single-objective optimization model.Several scholars focus on multiobjective optimization models to consider conflicting objectives simultaneously. In recent literature, scholars have focused on the impact of uncertainty and special events(e.g.,COVID-19)on VREMD.Moreover, some scholars focus on joint optimization models to optimize vehicle routes and central locations(or material allocation)simultaneously.Solution algorithms can be divided into two primary categories,i.e.,mathematical planning methods and intelligent evolutionary algorithms. The branch and bound algorithm is the most dominant mathematical planning algorithm, while genetic algorithms and their enhancements are the most commonly used intelligent evolutionary algorithms. It is shown that the nondominated sorting genetic algorithmⅡ(NSGA-Ⅱ)can effectively solve the multiobjective model of VREMD.To further improve the algorithm’s performance, researchers have proposed improved hybrid intelligent algorithms that combine the advantages of NSGA-Ⅱand certain other algorithms.Scholars have also proposed a series of optimization algorithms for specific scenarios. With the development of new technologies and computation methods,it will be exciting to construct optimization models that consider uncertainty, heterogeneity, and temporality for large-scale real-world issues and develop generalized solution approaches rather than those applicable to specific scenarios.Jinxing Shen Kun Liu Changxi Ma Yongpeng Zhao Chuwei Shi 2022Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2022,9,6:5
An initial discussion on major controlling factors on formation of coal-formed large-medium sas fields显示文摘The so-called 'large-medium gas field' means a gas field with proven reserves equal to or larger than 100×108 m3. Up to 1997, 23 coal-formed great-medium fields are discovered in China, excluding two in Taiwan Province. Their proven reserves take 50.9% in total natural gas reserves. Therefore, the coal-formed great-medium gas field plays a decisive role in natural gas reserves and the study of their controlling factors is very important both in theory and in practice. There are six major controlling factors on the formation of coal-formed large-medium gas fields: ( Ⅰ) The generating center of coal-formed gas and its surrounding area; (Ⅱ) low potential area; (Ⅲ) late pool-forming period; (Ⅳ) traps related to the paleo-uplifits in coal-formed gas area; (Ⅴ) above or between abnormally pressured compartments; (Ⅵ) faulted traps related to coal-bed.DAI Jinxing, XIA Xinyu, HONG Feng, ZHAO Lin, SUN Dongmin & SHI XinResearch Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, Beijing 100083, China Correspondence should be addressed to Dai Jinxing 2000Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,5:4
The transcription factors TLR1 and TLR2 negatively regulate trichome density and artemisinin levels in Artemisia annua显示文摘The important antimalarial drug artemisinin is biosynthesized and stored in Artemisia annua glandular trichomes and the artemisinin content correlates with trichome density;however, the factors affecting trichome development are largely unknown. Here,we demonstrate that the A.annua R2R3 MYB transcription factor TrichomeLess Regulator 1(TLR1)negatively regulates trichome development. In A.annua,TLR1 overexpression lines had 44.7%–64.0%lower trichome density and 11.5%–49.4%lower artemisinin contents and TLR1-RNAi lines had 33%–93.3%higher trichome density and 32.2%–84.0%higher artemisinin contents compared with non-transgenic controls.TLR1 also negatively regulates the expression of anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway genes in A.annua.When heterologously expressed in Arabidopsis thaliana,TLR1 interacts with GLABROUS3a,positive regulator of trichome development, and represses trichome development.Yeast two-hybrid and pull-down assays indicated that TLR1 interacts with the WUSCHEL homeobox(WOX)protein AaWOX1,which interacts with the LEAFY-like transcription factor TLR2.TLR2 overexpression in Arabidopsis and A.annua showed that TLR2 reduces trichome development by reducing gibberellin levels.Furthermore, artemisinin contents were 19%–43%lower in TLR2-overexpressing A.annua plants compared to controls. These data indicate that TLR1 and TLR2 negatively regulate trichome density by lowering gibberellin levels and may enable approaches to enhance artemisinin yields.Zongyou Lv JinXing Li Shi Qiu Fei Qi Hang Su Qitao Bu Rui Jiang Kexuan Tang Lei Zhang Wansheng Chen 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,6:2
Satellite-based detection of 16.76 MeV γ-ray from H-bomb D-T fusion显示文摘Based on the high energy γ-ray yield from the H-bomb D-T fusion reaction, it brings forward the idea applying the 16.76 MeV γ-ray to judge whether the H-bomb happens or not, and to deduce the explosion TNT equivalent accurately. The Monte Carlo N-Particle was applied to simulate the high energy γ-ray radiation characteristics reaching the geosynchronous orbit satellite, and the CVD diamond detector suit for the requirements was researched. A series of experiments were carried out to testify the capabilities of the diamond detector. It provides a brand-new approach to satellite-based nuclear explosion detection.CHENG Jinxing WANG Lan OUYANG Xiaoping SHI Jianfang ZHANG Anhui SHEN Chunxia OUYANG Maojie NAN Qinliang 2008Nuclear Science and Techniques2008,19,1:0
New insights into the formation of ammonium nitrate from a physical and chemical level perspective显示文摘High levels of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))is linked to poor air quality and premature deaths,so haze pollution deserves the attention of the world. As abundant inorganic components in PM_(2.5),ammonium nitrate(NH_(4)NO_(3))formation includes two processes, the diffusion process(molecule of ammonia and nitric acid move from gas phase to liquid phase)and the ionization process(subsequent dissociation to form ions). In this study,we discuss the impact of meteorological factors, emission sources, and gaseous precursors on NH4NO3 formation based on thermodynamic theory, and identify the dominant factors during clean periods and haze periods. Results show that aerosol liquid water content has a more significant effect on ammonium nitrate formation regardless of the severity of pollution. The dust source is dominant emission source in clean periods;while a combination of coal combustion and vehicle exhaust sources is more important in haze periods. And the control of ammonia emission is more effective in reducing the formation of ammonium nitrate. The findings of this work inform the design of effective strategies to control particulate matter pollution.Yuting Wei Xiao Tian Junbo Huang Zaihua Wang Bo Huang Jinxing Liu Jie Gao Danni Liang Haofei Yu Yinchang Feng Guoliang Shi 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,11:0
Genome-wide recombination variation in biparental segregating and reciprocal backcross populations provides information for introgression breeding in Brassica napus显示文摘Variation in patterns of recombination in plant genomes provides information about species evolution, genetic diversity and crop improvement. We investigated meiotic crossovers generated in biparental segregating and reciprocal backcross populations of the allopolyploid genome of rapeseed(Brassica napus)(AACC, 2n = 38). A structured set of 1445 intercrossed lines was derived from two homozygous de novo genome-assembled parents that represented the major genetic clusters of semi-winter Chinese and winter European rapeseeds, and was used to increase QTL resolution and achieve genomic reciprocal introgression. A high-density genetic map constructed with 6161 genetic bins and anchored centromere regions was used to establish the pattern of recombination variation in each chromosome. Around 93%of the genome contained crossovers at a mean rate of 3.8 c M Mb^(-1), with the remaining 7% attributed to centromeres or low marker density. Recombination hotspots predominated in the A genome, including two-thirds of those associated with breeding introgression from B. rapa. Genetic background might affect recombination variation. Introgression of genetic diversity from European winter to Chinese semi-winter rapeseed showed an increase in crossover rate under the semi-winter environment. Evidence for an elevated recombination rate having historically contributed to selective trait improvement includes accumulation of favorable alleles for seed oil content on hotspots of chromosome A10. Conversely, strong artificial selection may affect recombination rate variation, as appears to be the case with a coldspot resulting from strong selection for glucosinolate alleles on A09. But the cold region would be promptly reactivated by crossing design indicated by the pedigree analysis. Knowledge of recombination hotspots and coldspots associated with QTL for 22 traits can guide selection strategies for introgression breeding between the two gene pools. These results and rich genomic resources broaden our understanding of recombination behavior in allopolyploids and may advance rapeseed genetic improvement.Meng Wang Graham J.King Lei Shi Ruiyuan Li Yi Zhang Xiaohua Wang Jinling Meng Jinxing Tu Jun Zou 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,1:0
