| 1 | Prophylactic vertebroplasty procedure applied with a resorbable bone cement can decrease the fracture risk of sandwich vertebrae:long-term evaluation of clinical outcomes显示文摘A sandwich vertebra is formed after multiple osteoporotic vertebral fractures treated by percutaneous vertebroplasty,which has a risk of developing new fractures.The purpose of our study was to(i)investigate the occurrence of new fractures in sandwich vertebra after cement augmentation procedures and to(ii)evaluate the clinical outcomes after prophylactic vertebral reinforcement applied with resorbable bone cement.From June 2011 to 2014,we analysed 55 patients with at least one sandwich vertebrae and treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty.Eighteen patients were treated by prophylactic vertebroplasty with a resorbable bone cement to strengthen the sandwich vertebrae as the prevention group.The others were the non-prevention group.All patients were examined by spinal radiographs within 1 day,6 months,12 months,24 months and thereafter.The incidence of sandwich vertebra is 8.25%(55/667)in our study.Most sandwich vertebrae(69.01%,49/71)are distributed in the thoracic-lumbar junction.There are 24 sandwich vertebrae(18 patients)and 47 sandwich vertebrae(37 patients)in either prevention group or non-prevention group,respectively.No significant difference is found between age,sex,body mass index,bone mineral density,cement disk leakage,sandwich vertebrae distribution or Cobb angle in the two groups.In the follow-up,8 out of 37(21.6%)patients(with eight sandwich vertebrae)developed new fractures in non-prevention’group,whereas no new fractures were detected in the prevention group.Neither Cobb angle nor vertebral compression rate showed significant change in the prevention group during the follow-up.However,in the non-prevention group,we found that Cobb angle increased and vertebral height lost significantly(P<0.05).Prophylactic vertebroplasty procedure applied with resorbable bone cement could decrease the rate of new fractures of sandwich vertebrae. | Pu Jia Hai Tang Hao Chen Li Bao Fei Feng He Yang Jinjun Li | 2017 | Regenerative Biomaterials2017,4,1: | 8 |

| 3 | New Algorithm Rules Out Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure Development within 28 Days from Acute Decompensation of Cirrhosis显示文摘Background and Aims:Approximately 10%of patients with acute decompensated(AD)cirrhosis develop acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)within 28 days.Such cases have high mortality and are difficult to predict.Therefore,we aimed to establish and validate an algorithm to identify these patients on hospitalization.Methods:Hospitalized patients with AD who developed ACLF within 28 days were considered pre-ACLF.Organ dysfunction was defined accord-ing to the chronic liver failure-sequential organ failure as-sessment(CLIF-SOFA)criteria,and proven bacterial infec-tion was taken to indicate immune system dysfunction.A retrospective multicenter cohort and prospective one were used to derive and to validate the potential algorithm,re-spectively.A miss rate of<5%was acceptable for the calcu-lating algorithm to rule out pre-ACLF.Results:In the deri-vation cohort(n=673),46 patients developed ACLF within 28 days.Serum total bilirubin,creatinine,international normalized ratio,and present proven bacterial infection at admission were associated with the development of ACLF.AD patients with≥2 organ dysfunctions had a higher risk for pre-ACLF patients[odds ratio=16.58195%confidence interval:(4.271-64.363),p<0.001].In the derivation co-hort,67.5%of patients(454/673)had≤1 organ dysfunction and two patients(0.4%)were pre-ACLF,with a miss rate of 4.3%(missed/total,2/46).In the validation cohort,65.9%of patients(914/1388)had≤1 organ dysfunction,and four(0.3%)of them were pre-ACLF,with a miss rate of 3.4%(missed/total,4/117).Conclusions:AD patients with≤1 organ dysfunction had a significantly lower risk of developing ACLF within 28 days of admission and could be safely ruled out with a pre-ACLF miss rate of<5%. | Xiaoting Tang Hai Li Guohong Deng Xin Zheng Xianbo Wang Yan Huang Yanhang Gao Zhongji Meng Zhiping Qian Feng Liu Xiaobo Lu Yu Shi Beiling Li Wenyi Gu Xiaomei Xiang Yan Xiong Yixin Hou Jun Chen Na Gao Sen Luo Liujuan Ji Jing Li Rongjiong Zheng Haotang Ren Jinjun Chen | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3: | 1 |

| 9 | Optimization of synergistic energy storage density and efficiency for eco-friendly (Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5))_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)TiO_(3)-based relaxor ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘Inspired by increasing demand of advanced pulsed power capacitors,the development of lead-free dielectric ceramic capacitors with high energy storage density and temperature-insensitive performance are extremely crucial.Herein,the lead-free relaxor ferroelectric ceramics based on(1-x)(Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5))0.6Sr_(0.4)TiO_(3-x)Sr_(0.7)La_(0.2)ZrO_(3)[abbreviated as(1-x)NBST-xSLZ]are prepared by the solid-state reaction route.The large recoverable energy density(Wrec)of 3.45 J/cm^(3) and efficiency(h)of 90.1%are simultaneously realized in 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic due to increased breakdown strength.Furthermore,both the Wrec and h of 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic display superior of thermal stability(20e180C),frequency stability(1e1000 Hz),and cycle stability(10^(4))within a satisfactory range of variation.In addition,the 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic can also achieve a large current density(CD)of 625 A/cm^(2),an ultrahigh power density(PD)of 50 MW/cm^(3) and a fast discharge rate(t0.90)of 160.8 ns at 160 kV/cm.These results demonstrate that the 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic could be a highly competitive and ecofriendly relaxor ferroelectric material for next-generation pulsed power capacitors. | Hu Di Pan Zhongbin Wu Lukang Yang Fan Tang Luomeng Zhao Jinghao Shen Yihao Chen Yuyun Li Peng Zhai Jiwei Liu Jinjun | 2021 | Journal of Materiomics2021,7,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Examining the characteristics between time and distance gaps of secondary crashes显示文摘Understanding the characteristics of time and distance gaps between the primary(PC)and secondary crashes(SC)is crucial for preventing SC ccurrences and improving road safety.Although previous studies have tried to analyse the variation of gaps,there is limited evidence in quantifying the relationships between different gaps and various influential factors.This study proposed a two-layer stacking framework to discuss the time and distance gaps.Specifically,the framework took random forests(RF),gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)and eXtreme gradient boosting as the base classifiers in the first layer and applied logistic regression(LR)as a combiner in the second layer.On this basis,the local interpretable model-agnostic explanations(LIME)technology was used to interpret the output of the stacking model from both local and global perspectives.Through SC dentification and feature selection,346 SCs and 22 crash-related factors were collected from California interstate freeways.The results showed that the stacking model outperformed base models evaluated by accuracy,precision,and recall indicators.The explanations based on LIME suggest that collision type,distance,speed and volume are the critical features that affect the time and distance gaps.Higher volume can prolong queue length and increase the distance gap from the SCs to PCs.And collision types,peak periods,workday,truck involved and tow away likely induce a long-distance gap.Conversely,there is a shorter distance gap when secondary roads run in the same direction and are close to the primary roads.Lower speed is a significant factor resulting in a long-time gap,while the higher speed is correlated with a short-time gap.These results are expected to provide insights into how contributory features affect the time and distance gaps and help decision-makers develop accurate decisions to prevent SCs. | Xinyuan Liu Jinjun Tang Chen Yuan Fan Gao Xizhi Ding | 2024 | Transportation Safety and Environment2024,6,1: | 0 |

| 17 | Evaluation of airborne transmission risk in university towns based on IEQ surveys显示文摘This study aims to evaluate airborne transmission risk in university towns during the COVID-19 pandemic based on surveys of indoor environmental quality(IEQ).Both on-site measurements and questionnaire surveys were carried out in public buildings in university towns in Changsha,China.Air temperature,relative humidity,and CO 2 concentration in one library,ten classrooms,eight canteens,seven restaurants,and sixteen malls were mea-sured.2220 valid questionnaires concerning occupants’sensation on thermal environment,air movement,and indoor air quality were collected.A 3-level evaluation method of airborne transmission risk that is dependent on building type and indoor CO 2 concentration was developed.Excessive CO 2 concentration is found in library(1045 ppm),classrooms(1151 ppm),restaurants(1242 ppm),and malls(1057 ppm).The percentage time of“high risk”accounts for 18-100%in these buildings.The results reveal a serious problem:numerous public buildings in China and probably other resource limited countries are not basically prepared and equipped to cope with airborne transmission.This fact should be taken into account when developing guidelines and formu-lating mitigation measures.Real-time monitoring and displaying IEQ and thus the transmission risk level should be an important way to be widely implemented in public buildings. | Yufan Chang Xiaochen Zhang Ge Song Jing Liu Chen Lin Jinjun Ye Jie Hu Lei Tang Zhengtao Ai | 2023 | Energy and Built Environment2023,4,5: | 0 |

| 19 | Enhanced energy-storage performance in BNT-based lead-free dielectric ceramics via introducing SrTi_(0.875)Nb_(0.1)O_(3)显示文摘Environmentally friendly lead-free ceramics capacitors,with outstanding power density,rapid charging/discharging rate,and superior stability,have been receiving increasing attention of late for their ability to meet the critical requirements of pulsed power devices in low-consumption systems.However,the relatively low energy storage capability must be urgently overcome.Herein,this work reports on leadfree SrTi_(0.875)Nb_(0.1)O_(3)(STN)replacement of(Bi_(0.47)La_(0.03)Na_(0.5))_(0.94)Ba_(0.06)TiO_(3)(BLNBT)ferroelectric ceramics with excellent energy storage performance.Improving relaxor behaviour and breakdown strength(Eb),decreasing grain size,and mitigating large polarization difference are conductive to the enhancement of comprehensive energy storage performances.The phase-field simulation methods are further analysized evolution process of electrical tree in the experimental breakdown.In particular,the 0.70BLNBT-0.30STN ceramic exhibit a large discharged energy density of 4.2 J/cm^(3) with an efficiency of 89.3%at room temperature under electric field of 380 kV/cm.Additionally,for practical applications,the BLNBT-based ceramics achieve a high power density(~62.3 MW/cm^(3))and fast discharged time(~148.8 ns)over broad temperature range(20-200℃).Therefore,this work can provide a simple and effective guideline paradigm for acquiring high-performance dielectric materials in low-consumption systems operating in a wide range of temperatures and long-term operations. | Lukang Wu Luomen Tang Yizan Zhai Yiling Zhang Jianjian Sun Di Hu Zhongbin Pan Zhen Su Yang Zhang Jinjun Liu | 2022 | Journal of Materiomics2022,8,3: | 0 |
