1Influence of expressed TRAIL on biophysical properties of the human leukemic cell line Jurkat显示文摘The cDNA fragment of human TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand) was cloned into RevTet-On, a Tetregulated and high-level gene expression system. The gene expression system was constructed in a human leukemic cell line: Jurkat. By using RevTet-On TRAIL gene expression system in Jurkat as a cell model, we studied the influence of TRAIL gene on the changes of cellular apoptosis before and after the TRAIL gene expression, which was induced by adding tetracycline derivative doxycycline (Dox). The results indicated that the cellular apoptosis ratio was largely dependent on the TRAIL gene expression level. Moreover, it was found that the apoptosis-inducing TRAIL could cause significant changes in the biophysical properties of Jurkat cells. The cell surface charge density decreased, the membrane fluidity declined, the elastic coefficients K1 increased, and the proportion of o-helix in membrane protein secondary structure decreased. 2The boreal spring stratospheric final warming and its interannual and interdecadal variability显示文摘Based on the daily NCEP/DOE reanalysis II data,dates of the boreal spring Stratospheric Final Warming(SFW) events during 1979–2010 are defined as the time when the zonal-mean zonal wind at the central latitudes(65°–75°N) of the westerly polar jet drops below zero and never recovers until the subsequent autumn.It is found that the SFW events occur successively from the mid to the lower stratosphere and averagely from the mid to late April with a temporal lag of about 13 days from 10 to 50 hPa.Over the past 32 years,the earliest SFW occurs in mid March whereas the latest SFW happens in late May,showing a clear interannual variability of the time of SFW.Accompanying the SFW onset,the stratospheric circulation transits from a winter dynamical regime to a summertime state,and the maximum negative tendency of zonal wind and the strongest convergence of planetary-wave are observed.Composite results show that the early/late SFW events in boreal spring correspond to a quicker/slower transition of the stratospheric circulation,with the zonal-mean zonal wind reducing about 20/5 m s-1 at 30 hPa within 10 days around the onset date.Meanwhile,the planetary wave activities are relatively strong/weak associating with an out-of-/in-phase circumpolar circulation anomaly before and after the SFW events in the stratosphere.All these results indicate that,the earlier breakdown of the stratospheric polar vortex(SPV),as for the winter stratospheric sudden warming(SSW) events is driven mainly by wave forcing;and in contrast,the later breakdown of the SPV exhibits more characteristics of its seasonal evolution.Nevertheless,after the breakdown of SPV,the polar temperature anomalies always exhibit an out-of-phase relationship between the stratosphere and the troposphere for both the early and late SFW events,which implies an intimate stratosphere–troposphere dynamical coupling in spring.In addition,there exists a remarkable interdecadal change of the onset time of SFW in the mid 1990s.On average,the SFW onset time before the mid 1990s is 11 days earlier than that afterwards,corresponding to the increased/decreased planetary wave activities in late winter-early spring before/after the 1990s.HU JingGao REN RongCai YU YueYue XU HaiMing 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,4:4
3Seasonal timing of stratospheric final warming associated with the intensity of stratospheric sudden warming in preceding winter显示文摘The association of seasonal timing of stratospheric final warming events(SFWs) in spring and the occurrence of major and minor stratospheric sudden warming events(SSWs) in midwinter were investigated through statistical analysis, parallel comparison, and composite analysis, based on the NCEP-NCAR reanalysis dataset covering 1958–2012. It was found that the intensity and occurrence of winter SSW events can largely affect the timing of spring SFWs. Specifically, the SFW onset dates tend to be later(earlier) after the occurrence(absence) of winter major SSWs. However, the occurrence or absence of minor SSWs does not change the frequency of early and late SFWs. A parallel comparison of the temporal evolution of the anomalous circulation and planetary-waves between major SSW and minor SSW winters indicates that the stratospheric polar vortex(polar jet) will keep being anomalously stronger 30 days after major SSW onset. And the associated significant negative Eliassen-Palm(EP) flux anomalies can persist for as long as 45 days after major SSW events. In contrast, the circulation anomalies around the occurrence of minor SSW events can last only a few days. To further verify the possible influence of the occurrence of major SSWs on the seasonal timing of SFWs, composite analysis was performed respectively for the 21 major-SSW years, 15 minor-SSW years, and the 15 non-SSW years. Generally, planetary-wave activity in the extratropical stratosphere tends to be stronger(weaker) and the westerly polar jet is anomalously weaker(stronger) in major-SSW(non-SSW) winters. But in the following spring, the planetary-wave activity is weaker(stronger) accompanied with an anomalously stronger(weaker) stratospheric polar vortex. 4Decadal Variation of the Impact of La Nina on the Winter Arctic Stratosphere显示文摘The impact of La Ni?a on the winter Arctic stratosphere has thus far been an ambiguous topic of research. Contradictory results have been reported depending on the La Ni?a events considered. This study shows that this is mainly due to the decadal variation of La Ni?a's impact on the winter Arctic stratosphere since the late 1970 s. Specifically,during the period1951–78,the tropospheric La Ni?a teleconnection exhibits a typical negative Pacific–North America pattern,which strongly inhibits the propagation of the planetary waves from the extratropical troposphere to the stratosphere,and leads to a significantly strengthened stratospheric polar vortex. In contrast,during 1979–2015,the La Ni?a teleconnection shifts eastwards,with an anomalous high concentrated in the northeastern Pacific. The destructive interference of the La Ni?a teleconnection with climatological stationary waves seen in the earlier period reduces greatly,which prevents the drastic reduction of planetary wave activities in the extratropical stratosphere. 5Inhibitory Effect of TCCE on CCl_4-induced Overexpression of IL-6 in Acute Liver Injury显示文摘Terminalia catappa L. leaves have been shown to protect against acute liver injury produced by some hepatotoxicants, but the active components and mechanisms are not clear. This study was designed to characterize the protective effects of the chloroform fraction of the ethanol extract of T. catappa leaves (TCCE) against carbon tetrachloride (CC14)-induced hepatotoxicity in mice, and analyze the changes in expression level of interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the process. It was found that TCCE pretreatment (10 or 30 mg/kg,ig) protected mice from CC14 toxicity, as evidenced by the reversed alterations in serum alanine aminotransferase (sALT) and serum aspartate aminotransferase (sAST) activities. Additionally liver tissues were subjected to RT-PCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry to analyze changes in IL-6 expression. It was found that TCCE markedly suppressed the CC14-induced over-transcription ofIL-6 gene. Consistent with the result, the expression of IL-6 protein was also blocked by TCCE in CC14-stimulated mice, especially in the area around central vein on liver tissue section. 6Antioxidant Effects of Dehydroepiandrosterone Are Related to Up-regulation of Thioredoxin in SH-SY5Y Cells显示文摘Neuroprotective effects of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) have been shown to be associated with its antioxidant properties, but the mechanisms remain unknown. Considering that the thioredoxin (Trx)system, an important cellular redox modulation system, changes under oxidative stress and could exert protective effects, the relationship between the antioxidant effects of DHEA and the Trx system regulation was explored. Using MTT assay and morphological observation, the effects of DHEA in the model of H2O2-induced oxidative stress in SH-SY5Y cells were analyzed, then RT-PCR and Western blot assay were used to detect the alteration in mRNA and protein level of Trx. The results showed that a pre-treatment of DHEA (10-100 nM) protected cells against the toxicity induced by H2O2 in a dose-dependent manner, which could be confirmed in morphological observation by phase-contract microscope. In addition, Trx mRNA transcription was inhibited by H2O2 (300 μM), which could be reversed by the pre-administration of DHEA in various concentrations (0.1-100nM). 7棉花黄萎病抗性影响因子连锁的分子标记筛选显示文摘【目的】研究抗病性影响因子连锁的分子标记与抗黄萎病性状的一致性,筛选抗黄萎病基因,发掘其与棉花抗黄萎病性状的关系,进一步阐明棉花抗黄萎病遗传机制。【方法】研究使用37对抗黄萎病性影响因子设计的引物进行PCR扩增来探明抗病性基因在不同抗、感病棉花品种中的分布,以及与抗黄萎病性状的一致性。【结果】发现VM13、VM23、VM25、BNL0946、BNL1414、BNL1721、em6me2和em1me5这8对引物扩增出不同条带,分别来源于抗病相关蛋白的基因、基因组序列、mRNA序列、SSR和SRAP引物;其中,引物VM13、BNL1414、em6me2扩增条带与抗病品种一致率高于0.857,与感病品种一致率低于0.25。新疆自育品种较多出现的扩增条带,与新疆自育品种一致率介于0.364-0.727,平均值为0.515;与其它地区所育品种的一致率介于0.111-0.666,平均值为0.419。【结论】引物VM13、BNL1414、em6me2的扩增条带可以作为黄萎病抗性的分子标记鉴定指标。顾爱星 Jinggao Liu 李丹 陈全家 王莉萍 曲延英 2015新疆农业科学2015,52,3:1

The bipolar resistive switching behavior of Ag/BaWO4/FTO device is observed. Moreover, this resistive switching behavior can be modulated by white light. The device can maintain superior stability in the dark and under white-light illumination. 11Learning the Spatiotemporal Evolution Law of Wave Field Based on Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Research on the wave field evolution law is highly significant to the fields of offshore engineering and marine resource development.Numerical simulations have been conducted for high-precision wave field evolution,thus providing short-term wave field prediction.However,its evolution occurs over a long period of time,and its accuracy is difficult to improve.In recent years,the use of machine learning methods to study the evolution of wave field has received increasing attention from researchers.This paper proposes a wave field evolution method based on deep convolutional neural networks.This method can effectively correlate the spa-tiotemporal characteristics of wave data via convolution operation and directly obtain the offshore forecast results of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea.The attention mechanism,multi-scale path design,and hard example mining training strategy are introduced to suppress the interference caused by Weibull distributed wave field data and improve the accuracy of the proposed wave field evolu-tion.The 72-and 480-h evolution experiment results in the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea show that the proposed method in this pa-per has excellent forecast accuracy and timeliness.LIU Xing GAO Zhiyi HOU Fang SUN Jinggao 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5:1

17On the spring stratospheric final warming in CMIP5 and CMIP6 models显示文摘This study evaluates the performance in simulating the stratospheric final warming events(SFWs)that lead to the final collapse of the stratospheric polar vortex in spring in both Southern and Northern Hemispheres(SH and NH,respectively)based on the historical simulations provided by the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phases 5 and 6(CMIP5 and CMIP6,respectively).Overall,CMIP5 and CMIP6 models can reproduce the main characteristics of the occurrence of SFWs.However,the SFW onset date(SFWOD)is 7 and 9 days later than in observations in the SH and NH,respectively.Moreover,the intensity of SFWs in models is 50%to 70%of that in observations.Compared with CMIP5 models,CMIP6 models have an ameliorated capability to simulate NH SFWs.However,this improvement does not manifest as significantly earlier SFW onset,but as more intense stratospheric planetary wave activities before the SFWand as a larger interannual variability of the SFWOD.By contrast,in the SH,the capability of CMIP6 models is roughly unchanged,even deteriorated in the simulation of SFWOD and stratospheric planetary wave activities before the SFW onset.The performance of CMIP6 high-top models is better than that of lowtop models.Specifically,in the NH,high-top models are considerably improved in terms of intensity of circumpolar zonal wind around the SFWOD and stratospheric planetary wave activities before the SFW onset.In the SH,high-top models show fairly earlier SFWOD by 11 days,which is closer to observations.Jinggao HU Zexuan LIU Haiming XU Rongcai REN Dachao JIN 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1:0
18Representation of the Stratospheric Circulation in CRA-40 Reanalysis:The Arctic Polar Vortex and the Quasi-Biennial Oscillation显示文摘The representation of the Arctic stratospheric circulation and the quasi-biennial oscillation(QBO)during the period 1981–2019 in a 40-yr Chinese global reanalysis dataset(CRA-40)is evaluated by comparing two widely used reanalysis datasets,ERA-5 and MERRA-2.CRA-40 demonstrates a comparable performance with ERA-5 and MERRA-2 in characterizing the winter and spring circulation in the lower and middle Arctic stratosphere.Specifically,differences in the climatological polar-mean temperature and polar night jet among the three reanalyses are within±0.5 K and±0.5 m s^(–1),respectively.The onset dates of the stratospheric sudden warming and stratospheric final warming events at 10 hPa in CRA-40,together with the dynamics and circulation anomalies during the onset process of warming events,are nearly identical to the other two reanalyses with slight differences.By contrast,the CRA-40 dataset demonstrates a deteriorated performance in describing the QBO below 10 hPa compared to the other two reanalysis products,manifested by the larger easterly biases of the QBO index,the remarkably weaker amplitude of the QBO,and the weaker wavelet power of the QBO period.Such pronounced biases are mainly concentrated in the period 1981–98 and largely reduced by at least 39%in 1999–2019.Thus,particular caution is needed in studying the QBO based on CRA-40.All three reanalyses exhibit greater disagreement in the upper stratosphere compared to the lower and middle stratosphere for both the polar region and the tropics.Zixu WANG Shirui YAN Jinggao HU Jiechun DENG Rongcai REN Jian RAO 2024Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,5:0

20Create Rich Oxygen Defects of Unique Tubular Hierarchical Molybdenum Dioxide to Modulate Electron Transfer Rate for Superior High-Energy Metal-Ion Hybrid Capacitor显示文摘Metal-ion capacitors could merit advantages from both batteries and capacitors,but they need to overcome the severe restrictions from their sluggish reaction kinetics of the battery type electrode and low specific capacitance of capacitor type electrode for both high energy and power density.Herein,we use the Kirkendall effect for the first time to synthesize unique tubular hierarchical molybdenum dioxide with encapsulated nitrogen-doped carbon sheets while in situ realizing phosphorus-doping to create rich oxygen vacancies(P-MoO_(2-x)@NP-C)as a sodium-ion electrode.Experimental and theoretical analysis confirm that the P-doping introduced oxygen defects can partially convert the high-bond-energy Mo–O to low-bond-energy Mo–P,resulting in a low oxidation state of molybdenum for enhanced surface reactivity and rapid reaction kinetics.The as-prepared P-MoO_(2-x)@NP-C as an ion-battery electrode is further used to pair active N-doped carbon nanosheet(N-C-A)electrode for Na-ion hybrid capacitor,delivering excellent performance with an energy density of 140.3 Wh kg^(−1),a power density of 188.5 W kg^(−1)and long stable life in non-aqueous solution,which ranks the best among all reported MoO x-based hybrid capacitors.P-MoO_(2-x)@NP-C is also used to fabricate a zinc-ion hybrid capacitor,also accomplishing a remarkable energy density of 43.8 Wh kg^(−1),a power density of 93.9 W kg^(−1),and a long stable life@2A g^(−1)of 32000 cycles in aqueous solutions,solidly verifying its universal significance.This work not only demonstrates an innovative approach to synthesize high-performance metal ion hybrid capacitor materials but also reveals certain scientific insights into electron transfer enhancement mechanisms.Heng Zhang Jinggao Wu Zhuo Zou Youcun Bai Chao Wu Qingxin Zeng Feng Liu Wei Shen Jian Jiang Chang Ming Li 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,3:0
