1Two-dimensional materials:From mechanical properties to flexible mechanical sensors显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials have great potential in the fields of flexible electronics and photoelectronic devices due to their unique properties derived by special structures.The study of the mechanical properties of 2D materials plays an important role in next-generation flexible mechanical electronic device applications.Unfortunately,traditional experiment models and measurement methods are not suitable for 2D materials due to their atomically ultrathin thickness,which limits both the theoretical research and practical value of the 2D materials.In this review,we briefly summarize the characterization of mechanical properties of 2D materials by in situ probe nanoindentation experiments,and discuss the effect of thickness,grain boundary,and interlayer interactions.We introduce the strain-induced effect on electrical properties and optical properties of 2D materials.Then,we generalize the mechanical sensors based on various 2D materials and their future potential applications in flexible and wearable electronic devices.Finally,we discuss the state of the art for the mechanical properties of 2D materials and their opportunities and challenges in both basic research and practical applications.Hanjun Jiang Lu Zheng Zheng Liu Xuewen Wang 2020InfoMat2020,2,6:10

3Staged angioplasty versus regular carotid artery stenting in patients with carotid artery stenosis at high risk of hyperperfusion:a randomised clinical trial显示文摘Background and purpose Hyperperfusion(HP)is a devastating complication associated with carotid artery stenting(CAS)or endarterectomy.The efficacy and safety of staged angioplasty(SAP)in patients with CAS at high risk of HP remains unclear.We sought to determine whether SAP is superior to regular CAS in patients with high risk of HP.Methods A randomised,multicentre open-label clinical trial with blinded outcome assessment(STEP)was conducted.Patients with severe carotid stenosis at high risk of HP were randomly assigned(1:1)to the SAP or regular CAS group.The primary endpoint was hyperperfusion syndrome(HPS)and intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)within 30 days after the procedure.Results From November 2014 to January 2017,a total of 64 patients were enrolled in 11 centres.33 patients were allocated to the SAP group and 31 to the regular CAS group.At 30 days,the rate of primary endpoint was 0.0%(0/33)in the SAP group and 9.7%(3/31)in the regular CAS group(absolute risk reduction(ARR),9.7%;95%CI−20.1% to 0.7%;p=0.11).As one of the secondary endpoints,the incidence of HP phenomenon(HPP)was lower in the SAP group than the regular CAS group(0.0%vs 22.6%,ARR,−22.6%;95% CI−36.8%to−10.2%;p=0.04).Conclusion The rate of HPS and ICH was not significantly lower in SAP group;the extended secondary endpoint of HPP,however,significantly reduced,which suggested that SAP may be a safe and effective carotid revascularisation procedure to prevent HP.Dapeng Mo Baixue Jia Huaizhang Shi Yaxuan Sun Qingan Liu Chengzhe Fan Jianping Deng Jinglin Yuan Wei Wu Changchun Jiang Guilian Zhang Hanjun Du Ning Ma Feng Gao Xuan Sun Ligang Song Lian Liu Guangge Peng Yongjun Wang Yilong Wang Zhongrong Miao the STEP Study Group 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:3

6Quick assessment of chicken spoilage based on hyperspectral NIR spectra combined with partial least squares regression显示文摘Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae are dominant spoilage bacteria in chicken during cold storage(0°C-4°C).In this study,high resolution spectra in the range of 900-1700 nm were acquired and preprocessed using Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS),standard normal variate(SNV)and multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),respectively,and then mined using partial least squares(PLS)algorithm to relate to the total counts of Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae(PEC)of fresh chicken breasts to predict PEC rapidly.The results showed that with full 900-1700 nm range wavelength,MSC-PLS model built with MSC spectra performed better than PLS models with other spectra(RAW-PLS,SGCS-PLS,SNV-PLS),with correlation coefficient(RP)of 0.954,root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.396 log10 CFU/g and residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 3.33 in prediction set.Based on the 12 optimal wavelengths(902.2 nm,905.5 nm,923.6 nm,938.4 nm,946.7 nm,1025.7 nm,1124.4 nm,1211.6 nm,1269.2 nm,1653.7 nm,1691.8 nm and 1693.4 nm)selected from MSC spectra by successive projections algorithm(SPA),SPA-MSC-PLS model had RP of 0.954,RMSEP of 0.397 log10 CFU/g and RPD of 3.32,similar to MSC-PLS model.The overall study indicated that NIR spectra combined with PLS algorithm could be used to detect the PEC of chicken flesh in a rapid and non-destructive way.Shengqi Jiang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Zhuangli Kang Shengming Zhao 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:2

9Mining hyperspectral data for non-destructive and rapid prediction of nitrite content in ham sausages显示文摘Accurate and rapid determination of nitrite contents is an important step for guaranteeing sausage quality.This study attempted to mine hyperspectral data in the range of 900-1700 nm for non-destructive and rapid prediction of nitrite contents in sausages.The average spectra of 156 samples were collected to relate to the measured nitrite values by partial least squares(PLS)regression.Optimal wavelengths were respectively selected by successive projections algorithm(SPA)and regression coefficients(RC)to simplify the PLS model.The results indicated that PLS model established with 15 optimal wavelengths(900.5 nm,907.1 nm,908.8 nm,912.1 nm,915.4 nm,920.3 nm,922.0 nm,941.7 nm,979.6 nm,1083.2 nm,1213.2 nm,1353.0 nm,1460.2 nm,1595.6 nm and 1699.9 nm)selected by SPA had better performance with r C,r CV,r P of 0.92,0.89,0.89 and RMSEC,RMSECV,RMSEP of 0.41 mg/kg,0.89 mg/kg,0.49 mg/kg,respectively,for calibration set,cross-validation and prediction set.It was concluded that hyperspectral data could be mined by PLS&SPA for realizing the rapid evaluation of nitrite content in ham sausages.Yadong Zhu Hongju He Shengqi Jiang Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Shengming Zhao Zhuangli Kang 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,2:1

14Nondestructive determination of IMP content in chilled chicken based on hyperspectral data combined with chemometrics显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the potential of hyperspectral imaging technique(900-1700 nm)for nondestructive determination of inosinic acid(IMP)in chicken.Hyperspectral images of chicken flesh samples were acquired,and their mean spectra within the images were extracted.The quantitative relationship between the mean spectra and reference IMP value was fitted by partial least squares(PLS)regression algorithm.A PLS model(MAS-PLS)built with moving average smoothing(MAS)spectra showed better performance in predicting IMP content,leading to correlation coefficients(RP)of 0.951,root mean square error(RMSEP)of 0.046 mg/g,and residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 3.152.Regression coefficient(RC),successive projections algorithm(SPA),stepwise,competitive adaptive reweighted sampling(CARS),and uninformative variable elimination(UVE)were used to select the optimal wavelengths to optimize the MAS-PLS model.Based on the 18 optimal wavelengths(907.14,917.02,918.67,926.90,930.20,936.78,956.54,1004.28,1135.89,1211.56,1302.07,1367.94,1397.60,1488.31,1680.17,1683.49,1686.80 and 1695.10 nm)selected from MAS spectra by SPA,the MAS-SPA-PLS model was built with R_(P) of 0.920,RMSEP of 0.056 mg/g and RPD of 3.220,which was similar to the MAS-PLS model.The overall study indicated that hyperspectral imaging in the 900-1700 nm range combined with PLS and SPA could be used to predict the IMP content in chicken flesh.Yangyang Wang Hongju He Shengqi Jiang Hanjun Ma 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1:0
15The Soft-Strain Effect Enabled High-Performance Flexible Pressure Sensor and Its Application in Monitoring Pulse Waves显示文摘Flexible and wearable pressure sensors attached to human skin are effective and convenient in accurate and real-time tracking of various physiological signals for disease diagnosis and health assessment.Conventional flexible pressure sensors are constructed using compressible dielectric or conductive layers,which are electrically sensitive to external mechanical stimulation.However,saturated deformation under large compression significantly restrains the detection range and sensitivity of such sensors.Here,we report a novel type of flexible pressure sensor to overcome the compression saturation of the sensing layer by softstrain ffect,enabling an utra-high sensitivity of~636 kPa^(-1) and a wide detection range from 0.1 kPa to 56 kPa.In addition,the cyclic loading-unloading test reveals the excellent stability of the sensor,which maintains its signal detection after 10.000 cycles of 10 kPa compression.The sensor is capable of monitoring arterial pulse waves from both deep tissue and distal parts,such as digital arteries and dorsal pedal arteries,which can be used for blood pressure estimation by pulse transit time at the same artery branch.Yue Li Yuan Wei Yabao Yang Lu heng Lei Luo Jiuwei Gao Hanjun Jiang Juncai Song Manzhang Xu Xuewen Wang Wei Huang 2023Research2023,,1:0

17A low-power DC offset calibration method independent of IF gain for zero-IF receiver显示文摘A novel low-power DC offset calibration(DCOC) method independent of intermediate frequency(IF) gain for zero-IF receiver applications has been reported. The conventional analog DCOC method consumes greater power and affects the performance of the receiver. The conventional mixed-signal method requires enhanced memory to store the calibration results at different receiver gains as the DC offset is relative to the radio frequency(RF) and IF gain. A novel algorithm is presented to make the DCOC process independent of IF gain, which significantly reduces the memory area. With the proposed circuit, the receiver calibrates only once so settle-time and power consumption of the IF circuit is lowered.
