1Seismic attributes and integrated prediction of fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin are characterized by anisotropy and strong heterogeneity.Combined with an integrated analysis of data from seismic,geology,and drilling results,a series of attributes which are suitable for fractured and caved carbonate reservoir prediction is discussed,including amplitude,coherence analysis,spectra decomposition,seismic absorption attenuation analysis and impedance inversion.Moreover,3-D optimization of these attributes is achieved by integration of multivariate discriminant analysis and principle component analysis,where the logging data are taken as training samples.Using the optimized results,the spatial distribution and configuration features of the caved reservoirs can be characterized in detail.This technique not only improves the understanding of the spatial distribution of current reservoirs but also provides a significant basis for the discovery and production of carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin.Liu Lifeng Sam Zandong Sun Yang Haijun Han Jianfa Gao Hongliang Jing Bing Zhu Xinghui 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,4:6
2Could wastewater analysis be a useful tool for China?——A review显示文摘Analysing wastewater samples is an innovative approach that overcomes many limitations of traditional surveys to identify and measure a range of chemicals that were consumed by or exposed to people living in a sewer catchment area. First conceptualised in 2001, much progress has been made to make wastewater analysis(WWA) a reliable and robust tool for measuring chemical consumption and/or exposure. At the moment, the most popular application of WWA, sometimes referred as sewage epidemiology, is to monitor the consumption of illicit drugs in communities around the globe, including China. The approach has been largely adopted by law enforcement agencies as a device to monitor the temporal and geographical patterns of drug consumption. In the future, the methodology can be extended to other chemicals including biomarkers of population health(e.g. environmental or oxidative stress biomarkers, lifestyle indicators or medications that are taken by different demographic groups) and pollutants that people are exposed to(e.g. polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons,perfluorinated chemicals, and toxic pesticides). The extension of WWA to a huge range of chemicals may give rise to a field called sewage chemical-information mining(SCIM) with unexplored potentials. China has many densely populated cities with thousands of sewage treatment plants which are favourable for applying WWA/SCIM in order to help relevant authorities gather information about illicit drug consumption and population health status. 4Piceatannol attenuates streptozotocin-induced type 1 diabetes inmice显示文摘As a natural analog of resveratrol,piceatannol(Pic)exhibits good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities in different disease models.However,the role of Pic in type 1 diabetes mousemodel has not been reported yet.In this study,we investigated the in vivo effect of Pic in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced type 1 diabetic mice.Mice were injected with STZ to establish the type 1 diabetesmellitus(T1DM)model.After stable hyperglycemia was achieved,mice were then orally treated with Pic(40 mg/kg b.w.,i.g.)for 30 days.The results indicated that Pic supplementation efficiently alleviated the typical symptoms associated with T1DM,including body weight loss,polydipsia,hyperglycemia,and hypoinsulinemia.Pic treatment also improved the glucose tolerance of STZ-induced diabetic mice.In addition,Pic supplementation markedly decreased the expression of pro-inflammatory molecules TNF-αand IL-6,the expression of endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress markers GRP78 and CHOP,and the level of oxidative stress in T1DM mice.Moreover,Pic administration also partly reversed the metabolic profiles of STZ-treated mice as detected by 1H Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR)-based metabolomics.Our study suggested that the therapeutic potential of Pic in type 1 diabetes and the anti-diabetic effects of Pic may be associated with its activities to suppress oxidative stress,inflammation,and ER stress.MENGSHU ZHAO PINGSHI GAO LIANG TAO JINGJING WEN LEI WANG YUGUO YI YUXIN CHEN JUNSONG WANG XI XU JIANFA ZHANG DAN WENG 2020BIOCELL2020,44,3:0
