1Effect of Intermetallic Phases on Corrosion Initiation of AZ91 Alloy With Rare Earth Y Addition显示文摘The effect of the rare earth(RE) element Y on the microstructure of AZ91 Mg alloy is investigated.A detailed description of the procedure of identifying the intermetallic phases containing Y in the AZ91 Mg alloy with 0.9 wt%Y addition is presented.The results shows that there are two different kinds of RE phases in scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images.Energy dispersive spectrum(EDS) analysis shows that one is rich in Y element and the other is rich in Mn element.According to the element mapping of electron probe microanalysis(EPMA).the element Al can be found not only in the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase but also in these two RE phases.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) results further confirm one of the two RE phases is AI2Y;the phase of Al_(10)Mn_2Y has just been determined by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) instead of XRD probably because it is scarce.The shapes of these two RE intermetallic phases are pretty similar.The 3D digital microscopy is employed to observe in-situ the effect of the(5 phase and the above two RE intermetallic phases on the corrosion initiation of the alloys.The results show that the corrosion attack of AZ91 Mg alloy without Y addition starts around the eutectic phase β-Mg_(17)Al_(12).With the addition of 0.9 wt%Y,the two kinds of Y-rich intermetallic phases act as cathodic effect and a phase in the adjacent of them was activated and cathodic effect of the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12)phase was inhibited.Li-na Zhang Ruiling Jia Dan Li Wei Zhang Feng Guo 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,5:8
2Influence of Al Content on the Atmospheric Corrosion Behaviour of Magnesium-Aluminum Alloys显示文摘The influence of Al content on the Mg-Al alloys corrosion performance during sodium chloride induced at- mospheric corrosion has been studied. It was found that the corrosion rate of three Mg-Al alloys was accelerated with increasing Al content. 3HIV,HCV,and HBV Co-Infections in a Rural Area of Shanxi Province with a History of Commercial Blood Donation显示文摘Background:Unhygienic blood collection in the early 1990s led to blood‐borne infections in Central China.This study aimed to estimate human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) co‐infection with hepatitis C and B viruses (HCV and HBV) and their risk factors in a rural area of Shanxi Province with a history of commercial blood donation.Methods:A cross‐sectional study was conducted in 2004.All adult residents in the target area were invited to participate in the study.Face‐to‐face interviews were completed and blood specimens were tested for HIV,HCV,and HBV surface antigen (HBsAg).Results:Prevalence rates of HIV,HCV,and HBsAg were 1.3% (40/3 062),12.7% (389/3 062),and 3.5% (103/2982),respectively.Of the 40 HIV‐positive specimens,85% were HCV positive and 2.5% were HBsAg positive.The history of commercial blood donation was positively associated with HIV,HCV,and HIV/HCV co‐infections,but was negatively associated with HBsAg seropositivity.Migration for employment in the last 5 years was positively related to HIV,HBsAg,and HIV/HCV co‐infections.Univariate logistic analysis showed that illegal drug use,number of sex partners,extramarital sex behavior,commercial sex behavior,and condom use rate were not related to anti‐HIV,anti‐HCV,HBsAg seropositivity or their co‐infections.Conclusion:The history of commercial blood donation was the main risk factor for HIV,HCV,and HIV/HCV co‐infections in this former commercial blood donation area.HIV and HCV prevention and treatment interventions are important in this area.DONG RuiLing QIAO Xiao Chun JIA WangQian WONG Michelle QIAN HanZhu ZHENG XiWen XING WenGe LAI ShengHan WU ZhengLai JIANG Yan WANG Ning 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,3:1
4Indiscriminate Dietary Compositions of Two Asian Horseshoe Crabs,Tachypleus tridentatus and Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda:Evidence from Hemolymph Stable Isotopes显示文摘Knowledge of dietary compositions is essential to the recovery of the dwindling populations of horseshoe crabs in China.The feeding habits of Tachypleus tridentatus and Carcinoscorpis rotundicauda of Pearl Bay in southwestern China were studied by stable isotope analysis.Hemolymph samples of the two species were obtained from two age groups living in different habitats(inner,central,and outer Bay).In addition,their potential food source samples were collected in May 2019.Results showed that the mean values ofδ^(13)C andδ^(15)N in C.rotundicauda individuals ranged from−19.01‰to−16.47‰and from 10.49‰to 13.5‰,respectively,and those of T.tridentatus ranged from−19.12‰to−14.96‰and from 8.78‰to 13.48‰,respectively.These values indicated that the horseshoe crabs have a wide variety of food sources and therefore are highly omnivorous.No remarkably correlations were found betweenδ^(13)C andδ^(15)N values and individual widths in the two species.Thirteen potential food sources were selected,in which Sipunculus nudus,Batillaria zonalisi,and Ulva lactuca contributed largely to the dietary compositions of the two species of horseshoe crabs.No significant correlation was found between the feeding habits and habitat geochemical characteristics of the horseshoe crabs.All these results possibly indicate the high diversity of their food sources and the indiscriminate dietary compositions of the two Asian horseshoe crabs.LI Yuhong FENG Jianxiang KWAN Kit Yue TAN Yiran WENG Bosen JIA Ruiling 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,3:0

6Availability and cost-benefit evaluation for a repairable retrial system with warm standbys and priority显示文摘This paper investigates a warm standby repairable retrial system with two types of components and a single reparman,where type 1 components have priority over type 2 in use.Failure and repair times for each type of component are assumed to be exponential distributions.The retrial feature is considered and the retrial time of each failed component is exponentially distributed.By using Markov process theory and matrix analytic method,the system steady-state probabil-ities are derived,and the system steady-state availability and some steady-state performance indices are obtained.Using the Bayesian approach,the system parameters can be estimated.The cost-benefit ratio function of the system is constructed based on the failed components and repairman's states.Numerical experiments are given to evaluate the effect of each parameter on the system steady-state availability and optimize the system cost-benefit ratio with repair rate as a decision variable.Jia Kang Linmin Hu Rui Peng Yan Li Ruiling Tian 2023Statistical Theory and Related Fields2023,7,2:0
7Modeling and Optimization of Bandwidth Supply Performance for Cloud-Assisted Video Systems under Flash Crowd显示文摘The large-scale and sudden video content access such as flash crowds results in huge bandwidth demand,which severely influence user quality of experience and quality of service of video systems.In this paper,we firstly discuss the main reason of generation of flash crowds for video streaming services and analyze key factor for balance recovery between supply and demand of upload bandwidth.We construct two models:bandwidth supply capacity model of video systems and bandwidth demand model of users,which measures usage amount of bandwidth of the cloud.Based on the built models,we further employ a community-based cooperative caching strategy of video resources to promote supply capacity of upload bandwidth of video systems.Extensive tests show how the proposed cooperative caching strategy achieves much better performance results in comparison with original solution.Shijie Jia Ruiling Zhang Youzhong Ma Lujie Zhong Changqiao Xu 2016China Communications2016,13,9:0
