| 1 | Molecular dynamics study on the relationships of modeling,structural and energy properties with sensitivity for RDX-based PBXs显示文摘In this paper,a primary model is established for MD(molecular dynamics) simulation for the PBXs(polymer-bonded explosives) with RDX(cyclotrimethylene trinitramine) as base explosive and PS as polymer binder.A series of results from the MD simulation are compared between two PBX models,which are represented by PBX1 and PBX2,respectively,including one PS molecular chain having 46 repeating units and two PS molecular chains with each having 23 repeating units.It has been found that their structural,interaction energy and mechanical properties are basically consistent between the two models.A systematic MD study for the PBX2 is performed under NPT conditions at five different temperatures,i.e.,195 K,245 K,295 K,345 K,and 395 K.We have found that with the temperature increase,the maximum bond length(L max) of RDX N N trigger bond increases,and the interaction energy(E N-N) between two N atoms of the N-N trigger bond and the cohesive energy density(CED) decrease.These phenomena agree with the experimental fact that the PBX becomes more sensitive as the temperature increases.Therefore,we propose to use the maximum bond length L max of the trigger bond of the easily decomposed and exploded component and the interaction energy E N-N of the two relevant atoms as theoretical criteria to judge or predict the relative degree of heat and impact sensitivity for the energetic composites such as PBXs and solid propellants. | XIAO JiJun ZHAO Li ZHU Wei CHEN Jun JI GuangFu ZHAO Feng WU Qiang XIAO HeMing | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,12: | 12 |

| 3 | Compensation Control and Parameters Design for High Frequency Resonance Suppression of MMC-HVDC System显示文摘Large time delay is one of the inherent features of a modular multilevel converter(MMC)-based high voltage direct current(HVDC)system and is the main factor leading to the unfavorable’negative resistance and inductance’characteristic of MMC impedance.Research indicates that this characteristic interacting with the capacitive characteristics of an AC system is the cause of high frequency resonance(HFR)in the Yu-E HVDC project.As the current controller is one of the main factors that affects the MMC impedance,a compensation control to imitate the paralleled impedance at the point of common coupling(PCC)is proposed.Therefore,the structure and parameter design of the compensation controller are core to realizing HFR suppression.There are two potentially risky frequency ranges of HFRs(around 700 Hz and 1.8 kHz)in the studied AC system within 2.0 kHz.The core concept of HFR suppression is to make the phase angle of MMC impedance smaller than 90◦in the two risky frequency ranges according to impedance stability theory.Hence,the design parameters aim to coordinate the phase angle of MMC impedance in the two risky frequency ranges.In this paper,three types of compensation controller are studied to suppress HFRs,namely,first-order low pass filter(LPF),second-order LPF,and third-order band pass filter.The results of parameter design show that the first-order LPF cannot suppress both HFRs simultaneously.The second-order LPF can suppress both HFRs,however,it introduces a DC component into the current control loop.Therefore,a high pass filter is added to form the recommended third-order controller.All parameter ranges of the compensation controller are derived using analytical expressions.Finally,the correctness of the parameter design is proofed using time-domain simulations. | Yunfeng Li Hui Pang Ming Kong Jingjing Lu Ke Ji Guangfu Tang | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,6: | 3 |

| 8 | Periodic DFT approaches to crystalline alkali metal azides显示文摘The energy bands, electronic structures and relationship between structures and properties of the crystalline alkali metal azides, LiN3, α-NaN3 and KN3, are investigated at the DFT-B3LYP level. The crystalline bulks are predicted to be insulator, speculated from their band gaps of ca. 0.23-0.25 a.u. and from their level frontier bands. The atomic overlaps and electron densities show that the metals and the azides are combined by ionic bonds. The crystal lattice energies, being corrected for the basis set superposition errors, are -852.30, -771.45 and - 614.78 kJ·mol-1 for LiN3, a-NaN3 and KN3 respectively. These values are similar to those by Gray’s approximate method. The frontier crystal orbital mainly consists of the atomic orbital of the terminal nitrogen of azides. The contribution of the metallic orbital to the LUMO is very small. The electron transition from the HOMO to the LUMO is difficult to occur.
