| 1 | San copolymer membranes with ion exchangers for Cu(Ⅱ)removal from synthetic wastewater by electrodialysis显示文摘Heterogeneous membranes were obtained by using styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer(SAN)blends with low content of ion-exchanger particles(5 wt.%). The membranes obtained by phase inversion were used for the removal of copper ions from synthetic wastewater solutions by electrodialytic separation. The electrodialysis was conducted in a three cell unit, without electrolyte recirculation. The process, under potentiostatic or galvanostatic control, was followed by p H and conductivity measurements in the solution. The electrodialytic performance,evaluated in terms of extraction removal degree(rd) of copper ions, was better under potentiostatic control then by the galvanostatic one and the highest(over 70%) was attained at8 V. The membrane efficiency at small ion-exchanger load was explained by the migration of resin particles toward the pores surface during the phase inversion. | 2 | Handgrip strength and health outcomes: Umbrella review of systematic reviews with meta-analyses of observational studies显示文摘Purpose:The aim of the present study was to assess both the credibility and strength of evidence arising from systematic reviews with meta-analyses of observational studies on handgrip strength and health outcomes.Methods:An umbrella review of systematic reviews with meta-analyses of observational studies was conducted.We assessed meta-analyses of observational studies based on random-effect summary effect sizes and their p values,95%prediction intervals,heterogeneity,small-study effects,and excess significance.We graded the evidence from convincing(Class I)to weak(Class IV).Results:From 504 articles returned in a search of the literature,8 systematic reviews were included in our review,with a total of 11 outcomes.Overall,nine of the 11 of the outcomes reported nominally significant summary results(p<0.05),with 4 associations surviving the application of the more stringent p value(p<106).No outcome presented convincing evidence.Three associations showed Class II evidence(i.e.,highly suggestive):(1)higher handgrip values at baseline were associated with a minor reduction in mortality risk in the general population(n=34 studies;sample size=1,855,817;relative risk=0.72,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.670.78),(2)cardiovascular death risk in mixed populations(n=15 studies;relative risk=0.84,95%CI:0.780.91),and(3)incidence of disability(n=7 studies;relative risk=0.76,95%CI:0.660.87).Conclusion:The present results show that handgrip strength is a useful indicator for general health status and specifically for early all-cause and cardiovascular mortality,as well as disability.To further inform intervention strategies,future research is now required to fully understand mechanisms linking handgrip strength scores to these health outcomes. | Pinar Soysal Christopher Hurst Jacopo Demurtas Joseph Firth Reuben Howden Lin Yang Mark A.Tully Ai Koyanagi Petre Cristian Ilie Guillermo F.Lopez-Sanchez Lukas Schwingshackl Nicola Veronese Lee Smith | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021，10，3： | 5 |
| 3 | Low molecular weight heparin reduces arterial blood lactic acid content and increases estimated glomerular filtration rate in patients with moderate Covid-19 pneumonia显示文摘Background:Coronavirus disease 2019(Covid-19)remains a serious health threat worldwide.We aimed to investigate whether low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)can promote organ function recovery in moderate Covid-19 pneumonia patients.Methods:We initiated an LMWH protocol in Covid-19 patients with increased D-dimer,body mass index>30 kg/m^(2) or a history of diabetes from January 18,2020 at Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center.In this retrospective study,we assigned moderate Covid-19 pneumonia patients admitted between January 18th and April 18,2020 receiving the LMWH protocol to the LMWH group.Moderate patients who met the inclusion criteria but did not receive LMWH protocol were included in the control group by 1:2 propensity score matching.General clinical information,indicators for renal function,arterial blood gas analyses,arterial blood lactic acid content(mmol/L),and coagulation indexes at 0 day,3 days,7 days,and 11 days after admission were recorded and compared between the two groups.Results:There were 41 patients in the LMWH group and 82 patients in the control group.General information in both groups were similar.Compared to the control group,the arterial blood lactic acid content(mmol/L)at day 11(1.3[1.1,1.7]vs.1.2[0.9,1.3],P=0.016)was reduced in the LMWH group.The estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)in the LMWH group was higher than that in the control group at day 7(108.54[89.11,128.17]vs.116.85[103.39,133.47],P=0.039)and day 11(113.74[94.49,126.34]vs.128.31[112.75,144.12],P=0.003).The serum creatinine levels(Scr)in the LMWH group were lower than that in the control group at day 7(62.13[51.47,77.64]vs.55.49[49.50,65.75],P=0.038)and day 11(63.35[50.17,75.73]vs.51.62[44.62,61.24],P=0.005).Conclusions:LMWH treatment can reduce arterial blood lactic acid levels and improve eGFR in moderate Covid-19 pneumonia patients.Randomized controlled trials are warranted to further investigate this issue. | Li Ma Yigang Zeng Bing ZhaoL ili Xu Jian Li Tongyu Zhu Enqiang Mao | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022，，6： | 3 |

| 6 | Effect of the Inclination of Baffles on the Power Consumption and Fluid Flows in a Vessel Stirred by a Rushton Turbine显示文摘The role of baffles in mechanically stirred tanks is to promote the stability of power drawn by the impeller and to avoid the fluid swirling, thus enhancing mixing. The present paper numerically investigates the baffles effects in a vessel stirred by a Rushton turbine. The geometric factor of interest is the baffle inclination which is varying between 25°, 32.5°, 45°, 70° and 90° at different impeller rotational speeds. The impeller rotational direction has also been varied. The vortex size and power consumption were evaluated for each geometrical configuration.
