1Ellagic acid induces apoptosis through inhibition of nuclear factor κB in pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘AIM:To determine the effect of ellagic acid on apop-tosis and proliferation in pancreatic cancer cells and to determine the mechanism of the pro-survival effects of ellagic acid. METHODS:The effect of ellagic acid on apoptosis was assessed by measuring Phosphatidylserine externalization,caspase activity,mitochondrial membrane potential and DNA fragmentation;and proliferation by measuring DNA thymidine incorporation. Mitochondrial membrane potential was measured in permeabilized cells,and in isolated mitochondria. Nuclear factor kB(NF-kB) activity was measured by electromobility shift assay(EMSA) . RESULTS:We show that ellagic acid,a polyphenolic compound in fruits and berries,at concentrations 10 to 50 mmol/L stimulates apoptosis in human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cells. Further,ellagic acid decreases proliferation by up to 20-fold at 50 mmol/L. Ellagic acid stimulates the mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis associated with mitochondrial depolarization,cytochrome C release,and the downstream caspaseactivation. Ellagic acid does not directly affect mitochondria. Ellagic acid dose-dependently decreased NF-kB binding activity. Furthermore,inhibition of NF-kB activity using IkB wild type plasmid prevented the effect of ellagic acid on apoptosis. 2生物炭及海藻肥对烟草生长、土壤性状及青枯病发生的影响显示文摘为研究不同用量生物炭及海藻肥对烟草生长及青枯病的影响,以烟草 NC102 为试验材料,在常年青枯病发生较严重的地块采用完全随机设计,在常规施肥基础上,设置处理 CK(空白对照)、 BC1(9000 kg/hm2生物炭)、 BC2(15 000 kg/hm2生物炭)、BC3(22 500 kg/hm2生物炭)、SW(2250 kg/hm2海藻肥)、BC2+SW(15 000 kg/hm2生物炭+2250 kg/hm2海藻肥)。结果发现,海藻肥和生物炭单一或混合施用均能促进烟草生长,最大量生物炭的处理虽然抑制烤烟团棵期生长,但可以促进烤烟旺长期的生长。生物炭和海藻肥单一或混合施用均显著提高了土壤 pH 及部分土壤养分含量,降低了烟草青枯病发病率及病情指数,有利于提高烤烟产量和中上等烟比例,协调烟叶化学成分,提升烤后烟叶内在品质。利用 Pearson 相关系数分析了不同处理土壤理化性质与烟草青枯病病情指数之间的关系,结果发现,适当提高土壤酸碱度可作为酸性土壤主产区防控烟草青枯病、提高烤烟产质量的重要策略。张广雨 褚德朋 刘元德 牛纪军 陈芊如 Naila Ilyas 韦建玉 李义强 2019中国烟草科学2019,40,5:24
3生物炭对根际土壤微生态的调控及对烟草青枯病的防控作用显示文摘【目的】探究不同用量的生物炭对根际土壤微生态的调控及对烟草青枯病的防控作用【方法】采用稀释平板法,研究生物炭对青枯菌的吸附作用及对其生长和运动性的影响;盆栽试验研究生物炭对烟草生长及青枯病发病情况和土壤基本理化性质的影响;利用高通量测序技术,比较各处理土壤细菌群落差异。【结果】(1)生物炭对青枯菌具有抑制作用,可吸附青枯菌、抑制其生长及运动性,用量超过1.5%时效果显著;(2)生物炭提高了土壤pH、有机质、速效磷和速效钾含量,利于烟草的生长。相关性分析发现,生物炭对土壤pH和化学性质的改善,是抑制烟草青枯病发生的主要原因;(3)生物炭提高了根际土壤微生物群落的Alpha多样性和放线菌门中链霉菌属的相对丰度;(4)根际土壤细菌结构的多样性与土壤理化性质有一定的相关性,其中有效钾影响最大。【结论】生物炭通过对青枯菌的抑制作用和对土壤微生态的改善,创造了利于烟草生长的环境条件,减少了烟草青枯病的发生。张广雨 胡志明 褚德朋 戴永平 尹绍静 严明雄 段焰 孙康 Naila Ilyas 尤祥伟 李义强 2020中国烟草学报2020,26,6:18
4Presenilins as endoplasmic reticulum calcium leak channels and Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis显示文摘Alzheimer disease(AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disorder worldwide and is at present,incurable.The accumulation of toxic amyloid-beta(Aβ) peptide aggregates in AD brain is thought to trigger the extensive synaptic loss and neurodegeneration linked to cognitive decline,an idea that underlies the'amyloid hypothesis'of AD etiology in both the familal(FAD) and sporadic forms of the disease.Genetic mutations causing FAD also result in the dysregulation of neuronal calcium(Ca2+) handling and may contribute to AD pathogenesis,an idea termed the'calcium hypothesis'of AD.Mutations in presenilin proteins account for majority of FAD cases.Presenilins function as catalytic subunit ofγ-secretase involved in generation of Aβ peptide Recently,we discovered that presenilns function as low-conductance,passive ER Ca2+ leak channels,independent of γ-secretase activity.We further discovered that many FAD mutations in presenilins result in loss of ER Ca2+ leak function activity and Ca2+ overload in the ER.These results provided potential explanation for abnormal Ca2+ signaling observed in FAD cells with mutations in presenilns.Our latest work on studies of ER Ca2+ leak channel function of presenilins and implications of these findings for understanding AD pathogenesis are discussed in this article.Charlene SUPNET Ilya BEZPROZVANNY 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,8:17
5Effect of Powder Particle Shape on the Properties of In Situ Ti–TiB Composite Materials Produced by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘This work studied the preparation of starting powder mixture influenced by milling time and its effect on the particle morphology(especially the shape) and, consequently, density and compression properties of in situ Ti–Ti B composite materials produced by selective laser melting(SLM) technology. Starting powder composite system was prepared by mixing 95 wt% commercially pure titanium(CP-Ti) and 5wt% titanium diboride(TiB 2) powders and subsequently milled for two different times(i.e. 2 h and 4 h).The milled powder mixtures after 2 h and 4 h show nearly spherical and irregular shape, respectively.Subsequently, the resultant Ti–5 wt% TiB 2 powder mixtures were used for SLM processing. Scanning electron microscopy image of the SLM-processed Ti–Ti B composite samples show needle-shape TiB phase distributed across the Ti matrix, which is the product of an in-situ chemical reaction between Ti and TiB 2during SLM. The Ti–Ti B composite samples prepared from 2 h and 4 h milled Ti–TiB 2 powders show different relative densities of 99.5% and 95.1%, respectively. Also, the compression properties such as ultimate strength and compression strain for the 99.5% dense composite samples is 1421 MPa and 17.8%, respectively, which are superior to those(883 MPa and 5.5%, respectively) for the 95.1% dense sample. 7Key nodes of a micro RNA network associated with the integrated mesenchymal subtype of high-grade serous ovarian cancer显示文摘Metastasis is the main cause of cancer mortality. One of the initiating events of cancer metastasis of epithelial tumors is epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT), during which cells dedifferentiate from a relatively rigid cell structure/morphology to a flexible and changeable structure/morphology often associated with mesenchymal cells. The presence of EMT in human epithelial tumors is reflected by the increased expression of genes and levels of proteins that are preferentially present in mesenchymal cells. The combined presence of these genes forms the basis of mesenchymal gene signatures, which are the foundation for classifying a mesenchymal subtype of tumors. Indeed, tumor classification schemes that use clustering analysis of large genomic characterizations, like The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA), have defined mesenchymal subtype in a number of cancer types, such as high-grade serous ovarian cancer and glioblastoma. However, recent analyses have shown that gene expression-based classifications of mesenchymal subtypes often do not associate with poor survival. This 'paradox' can be ameliorated using integrated analysis that combines multiple data types. We recently found that integrating m RNA and micro RNA(mi RNA) data revealed an integrated mesenchymal subtype that is consistently associated with poor survival in multiple cohorts of patients with serous ovarian cancer. This network consists of 8 major mi RNAs and 214 m RNAs. Among the 8 mi RNAs, 4 are known to be regulators of EMT. 8A STUDY OF STRUCTURE AND PROPERTY CHANGES OF BIODEGRADABLE POLYGLYCOLIDE AND POLY(GLYCOLIDE-co-LACTIDE)FIBERS DURING PROCESSING AND IN VITRO DEGRADATION显示文摘Structure and properties of bioabsorbable polyglycolide (PGA) and poly(glycolide-co-lactide) (PGA-co-PLA)fibers were investigated during several industrial processing stages and in vitro degradation by means of wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and mechanical property tests. In the orientation stage, the PGA fibers were found to have higher degrees of crystallinity than corresponding PGA-co-PLA samples produced under similar conditions. In the hot-stretching and post-annealing stages, after fibers were braided, PGA samples were found to gain more crystallinity and higher Tg than PGA-co-PLA samples. The higher crystallinity in PGA fibers resulted in a slower rate of degradation. DMA results showed that a great deal of internal stress that was built during orientation and hot-stretching stages was released in the post-annealing stage for all PGA and PGA-co-PLA samples. During earlier stages ofin vitro degradation, both PGA and PGA-co-PLA samples exhibited the typical cleavage-induced crystallization mechanism. 9晴空回波的大气风温湿结构及双偏振雷达参量分析显示文摘晴空回波有助于认识大气的风温湿结构,双偏振多普勒天气雷达为探测晴空大气提供了丰富信息。本文以2015年夏季南京信息工程大学C波段双偏振雷达探测的晴空回波为例,结合探空资料分析大气风温湿结构及晴空回波的影响因素,分析了晴空大气的反射率因子Z、径向速度Vr以及差分反射率因子ZDR回波特征。研究表明:大气温、压、湿梯度造成折射指数分布不均以及背景风场引起的湍流增强,均可造成晴空回波,其回波机理为湍流散射;差分反射率因子受到多普勒效应的影响;在风场及大气湍团干湿特性不同的情况下,晴空回波的差分反射率因子呈现不同的特征。研究结果有益于深入认识大气风温湿结构特征对雷达电磁波的散射的影响以及雷达资料质量控制。黄琴 魏鸣 胡汉峰 ABRO Mohammad Ilyas 2018气象2018,44,4:8
10大豆与海藻有机肥对烤烟生长和土壤细菌群落的影响显示文摘【目的】探究不同有机肥施用对烤烟生长和土壤细菌群落的影响。【方法】用烤烟品种中烟100进行田间试验,比较分析了大豆和海藻有机肥不同施用量对烤烟生长发育以及烟叶中氮、磷、钾含量的影响,并且从土壤理化性质以及土壤微生物群落结构的角度,分析了施用两种有机肥对烟叶生长、土壤理化性质和土壤微生物群落结构的影响。【结果】(1)与对照相比,大豆和海藻有机肥的施用,促进了团棵期和旺长期烟株的生长发育(450 kg/hm^(2)处理最佳),提高了土壤有机质和氮磷钾含量。(2)由16 S V3-V4区域扩增子测序可知,有机肥的施入改变了土壤细菌群落的丰富度和多样性,Sphingomonas、Actinospica、Pseudonocardia等有益细菌丰度增加。(3)土壤细菌群落与土壤理化性质存在一定相关性,其中土壤pH值、速效钾(AK)、硝态氮(NO_(3)^(-)-N)和铵态氮(NH_(4)^(+)-N)是主要环境影响因子。【结论】大豆和海藻有机肥的施用改善了土壤理化性质,并影响了土壤细菌群落丰富度和多样性,促进了烟株生长发育。褚德朋 陈芊如 邰振益 赵福彬 张鑫 张广雨 尹绍静 杜本林 贾海江 尚宪超 ILYAS Naila 尤祥伟 黄崇峻 李义强 2021中国烟草学报2021,27,6:6

13Effect of Helicobacter pylori eradication on serum ghrelin and obestatin levels显示文摘AIM: To investigate changes in serum ghrelin and obestatin levels before and after Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori ) eradication. METHODS: A total of 92 patients presenting with symptoms of dyspepsia were enrolled in the study. Upper endoscopy was performed on all patients and used to diagnose H. pylori infection according to the presence of characteristic histopathological findings; seventy patients were diagnosed with H. pylori infection and the remaining 22 non-infected patients were classified as healthy controls. H. pylori eradication was accomplished by administering the classical triple therapy drug regimen, consisting of lansoprazole 30 mg bid , amoxicillin 1 g bid , and clarithromycin 500 mg tid for 14 d. The eradication of H. pylori was assessed with C14-urea breath test, which was performed at eight weeks after treatment. Levels of serum active ghrelin and obestatin were assessed at beginning of the study (prior to treatment) and after eight weeks. The levels were comparatively analyzed between the H. pylori negative control group, the H. pylori eradicated group, and the H. pylori non-eradicated group. RESULTS: A total of 92 patients, 50 females and 42 males with a mean age of 38.2 ± 11.9 years (range: 19-64), were analyzed. H. pylori eradication success was achieved in 74.3% (52/70) of H. pylori positive patients. The initial levels of ghrelin in the H. pylori positive and control cases were 63.6 ± 19.8 pg/mL and 65.1 ± 19.2 pg/mL (P=0.78), respectively, and initial obestatin levels were 771±427 pg/mL and 830 ± 296 pg/mL (P=0.19), respectively. The difference between the initial levels and the week 8 levels of ghrelin and obestatin in the control group was insignificant [4.5% (P=0.30) and -0.9% (P=0.65), respectively]. The difference between the initial and week 8 levels of ghrelin and obestatin in the H. pylori non-eradicated group were also insignificant [0.9% (P=0.64) and 5.3% (P=0.32), respectively]. The H. pylori eradicated group had a greater change in obestatin levels when compared to the control and the non-eradicated groups (148 ± 381 pg/mL vs -12±138 pg/mL and -72.8±203 pg/mL, respectively, P=0.015), while decreases in ghrelin levels were insignificant (-7.2 pg/mL vs -1.4 pg/mL and -1.9 pg/mL, respectively, P=0.52). The ghrelin/obestatin ratio for the initial and week 8 levels changed significantly in only the H. pylori eradicated group (0.11 vs 0.08, respectively, P=0.015). For overweight patients (as designated by body mass index), we observed significant increases in obestatin levels in the eradicated group as compared to non-eradicated group (201 ± 458 pg/mL vs -5 ± 81 pg/mL, respectively, P=0.02). In the H. pylori-eradicated group, the levels did not differ between the sexes for ghrelin (-6.3 ± 26.9 pg/mL vs -8.0 ± 24.0 pg/mL, respectively, P=0.97) or obestatin (210 ± 390 pg/mL vs 96 ± 372 pg/mL, respectively, P=0.23).CONCLUSION: Serum levels of ghrelin decreased while obestatin levels increased in H. pylori eradicated subjects, especially in overweight and male patients.Celal Ulasoglu Banu Isbilen Levent Doganay Filiz Ozen Safak Kiziltas Ilyas Tuncer 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,15:5
14Synthesis, X-ray structure and luminescent properties of Sm^(3+) ternary complex with novel heterocyclic β-diketone and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen)显示文摘A new neutral ternary samarium complex Sm(Phen)HL3 in which Phen is 1,10-phenanthroline and HL is (1,3-bis(1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1,3-propanedione) was synthesized. Molecular structure of this complex was determined by X-ray diffraction. Under UV-light this complex is demonstrated bright red luminescence (λmax=647 nm), which was corresponding to the electric dipole 4G5/2→6H9/2 transition in Sm3+ ion. 18Alzheimer’s disease, neural stem cells and neurogenesis: cellular phase at single-cell level显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease cannot be cured as of yet.Our current understanding on the causes of Alzheimer’s disease is limited.To develop treatments,experimental models that represent a particular cellular phase of the disease and more rigorous scrutiny of the cellular pathological mechanisms are crucial.In recent years,Alzheimer’s disease research underwent a paradigm shift.According to this tendency,Alzheimer’s disease is increasingly being conceived of a disease where not only neurons but also multiple cell types synchronously partake to manifest the pathology.Knowledge on every cell type adds an alternative approach and hope for the efforts towards the treatment.Neural stem cells and their neurogenic ability are making an appearance as a new aspect of the disease manifestation based on the recent findings that neurogenesis reduces dramatically in Alzheimer’s disease patients compared to healthy individuals.Therefore,understanding how neural stem cells can form new neurons in Alzheimer’s disease brains holds an immense potential for clinics.However,this provocative idea requires further evidence and tools for investigation.Recently,single cell sequencing appeared as a revolutionary tool to understand cellular programs in unprecedented resolution and it will undoubtedly facilitate comprehensive investigation of different cell types in Alzheimer’s disease.In this mini-review,we will touch upon recent studies that use single cell sequencing for investigating cellular response in Alzheimer’s disease and some consideration pertaining to the utilization of neural regeneration for Alzheimer’s disease research.Mehmet Ilyas Cosacak Prabesh Bhattarai Caghan Kizil 2020Neural Regeneration Research2020,15,5:4
