1Nanowire-supported plasmonic waveguide for remote excitation of surface-enhanced Raman scattering显示文摘Due to its amazing ability to manipulate light at the nanoscale,plasmonics has become one of the most interesting topics in the field of light–matter interaction.As a promising application of plasmonics,surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)has been widely used in scientific investigations and material analysis.The large enhanced Raman signals are mainly caused by the extremely enhanced electromagnetic field that results from localized surface plasmon polaritons.Recently,a novel SERS technology called remote SERS has been reported,combining both localized surface plasmon polaritons and propagating surface plasmon polaritons(PSPPs,or called plasmonic waveguide),which may be found in prominent applications in special circumstances compared to traditional local SERS.In this article,we review the mechanism of remote SERS and its development since it was first reported in 2009.Various remote metal systems based on plasmonic waveguides,such as nanoparticle–nanowire systems,single nanowire systems,crossed nanowire systems and nanowire dimer systems,are introduced,and recent novel applications,such as sensors,plasmon-driven surface-catalyzed reactions and Raman optical activity,are also presented.Furthermore,studies of remote SERS in dielectric and organic systems based on dielectric waveguides remind us that this useful technology has additional,tremendous application prospects that have not been realized in metal systems.Yingzhou Huang Yurui Fang Zhenglong Zhang Ling Zhu Mengtao Sun 2014Light(Science & Applications)2014,3,1:8
2Vegetation Restoration in Response to Climatic and Anthropogenic Changes in the Loess Plateau, China显示文摘A thorough understanding of the vegetation succession in relation to both climatic changes and anthropogenic activities is vital for the formulation of adaptation strategies that address potential ecosystem challenges.Various climatic factors such as temperature,precipitation,and solar radiation,as well as anthropogenic factors such as ecological engineering and population migration,will affect the conditions for vegetation.However,the relationships among various factors remain unclear and the response of vegetation to climate change and anthropogenic activities in the Loess Plateau of China has not been well established.This study investigated the spatio-temporal characteristics and relationships between vegetation coverage and climatic factors in the Loess Plateau for the period of 1985–2015.Further analysis separated the anthropogenic and climatic factors on vegetation succession based on residual analysis.The results showed that the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)followed a significant upward trend with annual change rates of 0.15%during 1985–2015.The trend of human-induced NDVI increase was consistent with the spatial distribution of increasing forest areas in the eastern part of the Loess Plateau.Eco-restoration projects were the main driving factors that promoted vegetation coverage on the Loess Plateau.Furthermore,these results demonstrated that migrants to cities in the Loess Plateau could relieve ecological pressures and promote vegetation restoration.Therefore,the government should strive to increase population mobility and restore vegetation to sustain this particularly fragile ecological environment.QU Lulu HUANG Yunxin YANG Lingfan LI Yurui 2020Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,1:3
3Graphdiyne-based metal atomic catalysts for synthesizing ammonia显示文摘Development of novel catalysts for nitrogen reduction at ambient pressures and temperatures with ultrahigh ammonia(NH_(3))yield and selectivity is challenging.In this work,an atomic catalyst with separated Pd atoms on graphdiyne(Pd-GDY)was synthesized,which shows fascinating electrocatalytic properties for nitrogen reduction.The catalyst has the highest average NH_(3)yield of 4.45±0.30 mgNH_(3)mg Pd^(-1)h^(-1),almost tens of orders larger than for previously reported catalysts,and 100%reaction selectivity in neutral media.Pd-GDY exhibits almost no decreases in NH_(3)yield and Faradaic efficiency.Density functional theory calculations show that the reaction pathway prefers to perform at the(Pd,C1,C2)active area because of the strongly coupled(Pd,C1,C2),which elevates the selectivity via enhanced electron transfer.By adjusting the p–d coupling accurately,reduction of self-activated nitrogen is promoted by anchoring atom selection,and side effects are minimized.Huidi Yu Yurui Xue Lan Hui Chao Zhang Yan Fang Yuxin Liu Xi Chen Danyan Zhang Bolong Huang Yuliang Li 2021National Science Review2021,8,8:2

8Practical operation and theoretical basis of difference-in-difference regression in science of science:The comparative trial on the scientific performance of Nobel laureates versus their coauthors显示文摘Purpose:In recent decades,with the availability of large-scale scientific corpus datasets,difference-in-difference(DID)is increasingly used in the science of science and bibliometrics studies.DID method outputs the unbiased estimation on condition that several hypotheses hold,especially the common trend assumption.In this paper,we gave a systematic demonstration of DID in the science of science,and the potential ways to improve the accuracy of DID method.Design/methodology/approach:At first,we reviewed the statistical assumptions,the model specification,and the application procedures of DID method.Second,to improve the necessary assumptions before conducting DID regression and the accuracy of estimation,we introduced some matching techniques serving as the pre-selecting step for DID design by matching control individuals who are equivalent to those treated ones on observational variables before the intervention.Lastly,we performed a case study to estimate the effects of prizewinning on the scientific performance of Nobel laureates,by comparing the yearly citation impact after the prizewinning year between Nobel laureates and their prizewinning-work coauthors.Findings:We introduced the procedures to conduct a DID estimation and demonstrated the effectiveness to use matching method to improve the results.As a case study,we found that there are no significant increases in citations for Nobel laureates compared to their prizewinning coauthors.Research limitations:This study ignored the rigorous mathematical deduction parts of DID,while focused on the practical parts.Practical implications:This work gives experimental practice and potential guidelines to use DID method in science of science and bibliometrics studies.Originality/value:This study gains insights into the usage of econometric tools in science of science.Yurui Huang Chaolin Tian Yifang Ma 2023Journal of Data and Information Science2023,8,1:0
9Nondestructive perception of potato quality in actual online production based on cross-modal technology显示文摘Nowadays,China stands as the global leader in terms of potato planting area and total potato production.The rapid and nondestructive detection of the potato quality before processing is of great significance in promoting rural revitalization and augmenting farmers’income.However,existing potato quality sorting methods are primarily confined to theoretical research,and the market lacks an integrated intelligent detection system.Therefore,there is an urgent need for a post-harvest potato detection method adapted to the actual production needs.The study proposes a potato quality sorting method based on cross-modal technology.First,an industrial camera obtains image information for external quality detection.A model using the YOLOv5s algorithm to detect external green-skinned,germinated,rot and mechanical damage defects.VIS/NIR spectroscopy is used to obtain spectral information for internal quality detection.A convolutional neural network(CNN)algorithm is used to detect internal blackheart disease defects.The mean average precision(mAP)of the external detection model is 0.892 when intersection of union(IoU)=0.5.The accuracy of the internal detection model is 98.2%.The real-time dynamic defect detection rate for the final online detection system is 91.3%,and the average detection time is 350 ms per potato.In contrast to samples collected in an ideal laboratory setting for analysis,the dynamic detection results of this study are more applicable based on a real-time online working environment.It also provides a valuable reference for the subsequent online quality testing of similar agricultural products.Qiquan Wei Yurui Zheng Zhaoqing Chen Yun Huang Changqing Chen Zhenbo Wei Shuiqin Zhou Hongwei Sun Fengnong Chen 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,6:0
10Stimuli-responsive combination therapy of cisplatin and Nrf2 siRNA for improving antitumor treatment of osteosarcoma显示文摘Cisplatin is a widely applied therapeutics for the treatment of osteosarcoma.However,its clinical applications have been hindered due to low efficacy and bioavailability,and particularly frequent emergence of reactive oxygen species(ROS)-decrease induced drug resistance.The transcription factor NF-E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)is increased in cancer patients and induces poor outcome in osteosarcoma treatment,making it a novel target to improve the efficacy of chemotherapy.Herein,a hyaluronidase-responsive multi-layer liposome(HLCN)for co-delivery of cisplatin and Nrf2 siRNA(siNrf2)is developed.It is composed of Vpr52-96 modified liposome covered with hyaluronic acid(HA).HLCN selectively accumulates in osteosarcoma by targeting tumor-specific CD44,and can be degraded by endosomal hyaluronidase to generate cationic liposome,which promotes the endosomal escape of Vpr52-96,cisplatin and siNrf2.HLCN can effectively decrease Nrf2 level,promote ROS generation,activate itochondrial apoptotic pathway,and consequently enhance anticancer efficacy of cisplatin.Particularly,HLCN shows high cytotoxicity to osteosarcoma cells with an IC50 value of about 1µM,which is four-fold lower than liposomal cisplatin(IC504µM),indicating that Nrf2 silence can significantly improve cisplatin sensitivity in cancer cells.Importantly,HLCN can remarkably inhibit tumor growth in the xenograft osteosarcoma mice with minimal systemic adverse effects.Therefore,this novel stimuli-responsive combination therapy of cisplatin and siNrf2 provides a promising strategy for the treatment of osteosarcoma.Ting-Ting Gu Chengjun Li Yurui Xu Lei Zhang Xue Shan Xinyu Huang Leilei Guo Kerong Chen Xiaojian Wang Haixiong Ge Xinghai Ning 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:0
11Responses of the East Component of Beijing GNSS Continuous Observation Stations to the 2011 Japan M_W 9.0 Earthquake显示文摘Several new demands have been put forward for the application of the Beijing continuous GNSS observations due to some particular reasons,such as the limited coverage of the observation network,the different construction and management criterion executed by different units and the intense interference resulting from human activity. In this paper,necessary processing of data is carried out, including more accurate calculation,corrections to the replacement,outliers and relocation of equipment,and elimination of linear trends in the E-component for every station. The E-components of the 16 available stations showed a lower sawtooth wave anomaly( s lowly westward propagating) b efore the2011 Tohoku M W9. 0 earthquake,a coseismic step rebound( rapid eastward propagating)and a post-seismic Ω-shaped recovery. These steps constituted a complete earthquake process which was rarely seen before in the GNSS observations and provides a good example for further study. 12Application of Deep Inspiration Breath Hold Technique in Radiotherapy After Breast- Conserving Surgery for Left Breast Cancer and Its Improvement on Cardiac Dose显示文摘Objective:To analyze the application of deep inspiration breath hold technique in radiotherapy after breast-conserving surgery for left breast cancer and the improvement of cardiac dose.Methods:A total of 45 patients with left breast cancer treated in our hospital after breast-conserving surgery were selected,and the selection time was set from January 2020 to August 2022.All patients received radiotherapy.The right breast,heart,and lung volumes,and dose parameters of the heart,lungs,right breast,and left anterior descending coronary artery were compared under free breathing(FB)and deep inspiration breath hold(DIBH)technical modes.Results:The heart volume of the DIBH group was smaller than that of the FB group,and the left and right lung volumes were significantly larger than those of the FB group.In the DIBH group,the heart dose parameters V5,proper lung dose parameters,and left anterior descending coronary artery dose parameters were found lower than that of the FB group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with FB,the DIBH technique can reduce the heart’s size and increase the lung volume when used for radiotherapy after breast-conserving surgery for left breast cancer.It also reduces the dose to the heart,right lung,and left anterior descending coronary artery,thus protecting the heart and lungs.Yu Luo Lihan Huang Qiao Lan Yurui Wu Yin Li Xiaorong Cheng Kunhai Xiong Xiaoyu Wu 2023Proceedings of Anticancer Research2023,7,5:0
13Optimizing field management to promote the ecologicalization of agriculture in loess hilly-gully region,China显示文摘Scientific field management is an important path to realize ecological production and sustainable development of agriculture.As the main content of field management,nitrogen(N)management is the key to balance the economic and ecological benefits of agricultural production.In the loess hilly-gully region,for the fragile ecological and social system,ecologicalization of agricultural production is an important direction to promote sustainable agricultural development.However,irrational fertilization has been one of the main constraint factors,hindering the ecologicalization of local agriculture.In order to solve the problem and prove the practical significance of field management to ecologicalization of agriculture,this study aimed at evaluating the effects of different N fertilization rates and timing using Root Zone Water Quality Model(RZWQM)and then optimizing the N management.Experiments were conducted from 2018 to 2019 in Yangjuangou watershed,loess hilly-gully region,to calibrate and validate the model.The root mean square error(RMSE)of soil water content,nitrate N concentration,above-ground biomass,leaf area index ranged from 10.5-13.5 mm,2.96-3.80 mg·kg^(−1),730.3-1273.9 kg·ha^(−1)and 0.26-0.38,respectively,with the agreement index(d)between observed and simulated values ranging between 0.88 to 0.98.Simulation results showed that N leaching in semi-arid areas was also quite high due to concentrated rainfall and loose soil,which had previously been neglected.When the fertilization rate decreased by 35%(applying the chemical fertilizer at rate of 245.7 kg N ha^(−1))of typical fertilization(applying the chemical fertilizer at rate of 378.0 kg N ha^(−1)),the leaching and residual N decreased by 72.2%-75.4%and 35.6%-50.9%,respectively,while NUE increased by 41.5%-45.2%with no reduction in maize yield.Additionally,compared with applying additional N at seedling stage in one batch,applying at seedling and jointing stages in two batches further decreased N leaching and improved NUE.Thus,a 35%reduction of typical fertilization rate combined with applying additional N at seedling and jointing stages is recommended.From the perspective of N management,this study demonstrated optimizing field management can play a positive role in the ecologicalization of agriculture,and more field management measures should be explored.HUANG Yunxin LI Yurui LIU Yansui 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,5:0
