Generation and imaging of a tunable ultrafast intensity-rotating optical field with a cycle down to femtosecond region显示文摘A tunable ultrafast intensity-rotating optical field is generated by overlapping a pair of 20Hz,800 nm chirped pulses with a Michelson interferometer(MI).Its rotating rate can be up to 10 trillion radians per second(Trad/s),which can be flexibly tuned with a mirror in the MI.Besides, its fold rotational symmetry structure is also changeable by controlling the difference from the topological charges of the pulse pair.Experimentally,we have successfully developed a twopetal lattice with a tunable rotating speed from 3.9 Trad/s up to 11.9 Trad/s,which is confirmed by our single-shot ultrafast frame imager based on noncollinear optical-parametric amplification with its highest frame rate of 15 trillion frames per second(Tfps). This work is carried out at a low repetition rate. Therefore,it can be applied at relativistic, even ultrarelativistic, intensities, which usually operate in low repetition rate ultrashort and ultraintense laser systems. We believe that it may have application in laser-plasma-based accelerators, strong terahertz radiations and celestial phenomena. | Xuanke Zeng Shuiqin Zheng Yi Cai Hongyu Wang Xiaowei Lu Honggeng Wang Jingzhen Li Weixin Xie Shixiang Xu | 2020 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,1: | 2
Stability Analysis of Multi-paralleled Grid-connected Inverters Including Distribution Parameter Characteristics of Transmission Lines显示文摘The sparse distribution characteristics of renewable energy resources can lead to there being tens of kilometers of transmission lines between a grid-connected inverter and the actual grid.Accurate analysis of the stability of such gridconnected inverter systems currently involves using a complex hyperbolic function to shaped model of the transmission line circuit. This has proved to be problematic,so,drawing upon the distribution parameter characteristics of transmission lines, this paper looks at how to use impedance-based stability criteria to assess the stability of multi-paralleled grid-connected inverters.First, the topology of multi-paralleled inverters connected to the grid via transmission lines is established, using each transmission line terminal as a grid connection point. Each grid-connected system is taken to be equivalent to a small-signal circuit model of the“current source-grid”.Euler’s formula and the Nyquist stability criterion are combined to assess the stability of the associated grid-connected current transfer functions and evaluate the stability of the grid-connected current. Finally,a simulation analysis circuit is constructed to verify whether power line intervention will cause stability problems in the grid-connected system.Overall,it is found that long-distance transmission lines are more likely to cause unstable output of the grid-connected current. It is also found that the number of grid-connected inverters, the short-circuit ratio(SCR),the distorted grid and the inverter parameters can all have a significant impact on the stability of the grid-connected current. | Xianghua Peng Honggeng Yang | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,1: | 2
Loss-induced nonreciprocity显示文摘Nonreciprocity is important in both optical information processing and topological photonics studies.Conventional principles for realizing non reciprocity rely on magnetic fields, spatiotemporal modulation,or nonlinearity. Here we propose a generic principle for generating nonreciprocity by taking advantage of energy loss, which is usually regarded as harmful. The loss in a resonance mode induces a phase lag, which is independent of the energy transmission direction. When multichannel lossy resonance modes are combined, the resulting interference gives rise to nonreciprocity, with different coupling strengths for the forward and backward directions, and unidirectional energy transmission. This study opens a new avenue for the design of nonreciprocal devices without stringent requirements. | Xinyao Huang Cuicui Lu Chao Liang Honggeng Tao Yong-Chun Liu | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,2: | 2

Impedance-based Stability Criterion for the Stable Evaluation of Grid-connected Inverter Systems with Distributed Parameter Lines显示文摘For a multi-inverter grid-connected system, the stability of the point of common coupling(PCC)voltage is evaluated considering the distribution parameters of the transmission lines.First, the systems on both sides of the PCC are equalized,a smallsignal equivalent circuit similar to the“current source-grid”is established, and a mathematical model for the voltage of the PCC is derived. Then, using Euler’s formula and Nyquist stability criterion, the PCC voltage stability of the grid-connected system is evaluated by the impedance analysis method under the premise that the single-side excitation is stable. In addition, the gridconnected conditions causing PCC voltage instability are studied.A phase compensation method based on an impedance phase compensation control strategy is introduced. The stability of the grid-connected system is improved by compensating the phase margin at the equivalent impedance crossover-section frequency on both sides of the grid-connected system PCC.Finally,a simulation circuit is built to simulate and analyze the proposed model and phase compensation method. The simulation results verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the theoretical analysis. | Xianghua Peng Honggeng Yang | 2023 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,1: | 2

Hydrogel-elastomer-based stretchable strain sensor fabricated by a simple projection lithography method显示文摘Stretchable strain sensor detects a wide range of strain variation and is therefore a key component in various applications.Unlike traditional ones made of elastomers doped with conductive components or fabricated with liquid conductors, ionically conductive hydrogel-based strain sensors remain conductive under large deformations and are biocompatible. However, dehydration is a challenging issue for the latter.Researchers have developed hydrogel-elastomer-based strain sensors where an elastomer matrix encapsulates a hydrogel circuit to prevent its dehydration. However, the reported multistep approaches are generally time-consuming.Our group recently reported a multimaterial 3D printing approach that enables fast fabrication of such sensors, yet requires a self-built digital-light-processing-based multimaterial 3D printer. Here,we report a simple projection lithography method to fabricate hydrogel-elastomer-based stretchable strain sensors within 5 minutes. This method only requires a UV projector/lamp with photomasks;the chemicals are commercially available;the protocols for preparing the polymer precursors are friendly to users without chemistry background. Moreover, the manufacturing flexibility allows users to readily pattern the sensor circuit and attach the sensor to a 3D printed soft pneumatic actuator to enable strain sensing on the latter. The proposed approach paves a simple and versatile way to fabricate hydrogel-elastomer-based stretchable strain sensors and flexible electronic devices. | Zhenqing Li Xiangnan He Jianxiang Cheng Honggeng Li Yuan-Fang Zhang Xiaojuan Shi Kai Yu Hui Ying Yang Qi Ge | 2021 | International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2021,12,3: | 1
