12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 3Molecular fossil and paleovegetation records of paleosol S4 and adjacent loess layers in the Luochuan loess section, NW China显示文摘Using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) technique, a series of biomarkers were identi- fied, including n-alkanes, n-alkane-2-ones, isoprenoid etc. from the loess-paleosol samples collected from the S4 and adjacent L5, L4 of the Luochuan loess section, Northwestern China. Based on these data, especially n-alkanes and high-resolution magnetic susceptibility and grain size data, the pa- leoenvironment and paleovegetation history during S4 was reconstructed. The CPI (Carbon Predomi- nance Index) and correlation between n-alkanes and magnetic susceptibility and grain size data dem- onstrated that the molecular fossils in paleosol and loess layers can reflect the vegetation condition during the loess-paleosol formation, if the allochthonous organic inputs could be excluded reasonably. The ACL (average chain length) index is correlated well with paleomagnetic susceptibility and grain size variations, displaying their good synchrony with warm and humid climate. However, it relatively lagged behind the paleomagnetic susceptibility and the grain size variations when the climate began to deteriorate. During the formation period of paleosol, the n-alkanes was dominated by C31 homologue, indicating that the primary organic input originated from herbs. 4Ni/Al_2O_3 catalysts for syngas methanation: Effect of Mn promoter显示文摘Ni/Al2O3 catalysts with different amounts of manganese ranging from 1 to 3 wt% as promoter were prepared by co-impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized by N2 physisorption, XRD, TPR, SEM and TEM. Their catalytic activity towards syngas methanation reaction was also investigated using a fixed-bed integral reactor. It was demonstrated that the addition of manganese to Ni/Al2O3 catalysts can increase the catalyst surface area and average pore volume, but decrease NiO crystallite size, leading to higher activity and stability. The effects of reaction temperature, pressure and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) on carbon oxides conversion and CH4 formation rate were also studied. 5Branched aliphatic alkanes of shell bar section in Qarhan Lake,Qaidam Basin and their paleoclimate significance显示文摘Biomarkers of paleolake deposits from Qarhan Salt Lake in Qaidam Basin,northwest China were sys-tematically analyzed and the A―C series compounds of branched aliphatic alkanes with quaternary substituted carbon atom(BAQCs) were identified. The homologous distinguished three series,A―C,were identified as 5,5-diethylalkanes,6,6-diethylalkanes and 5-butyl,5-ethylalkanes series,and their relative abundance was A > B > C. Series A and C were characterized by odd carbon numbers,whereas series B was characterized by even carbon numbers. The high values of series A corresponded with the high values of series B and C. Therefore,it can be concluded that series A,B and C possess a similar biological origin. The abundance of series A was relatively low in the lower part of the section compared with that in the upper part,implying that these series originated from bacteria and/or algae more prevalent in fresh-mesohaline water,and such kinds of bacteria and/or algae are most likely to be thermophilous species. 7Transplantation of placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells reduces hypoxic-ischemic brain damage in rats by ameliorating the inflammatory response显示文摘Hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD)is a common cause of infant death.The purpose of our research was to explore the immunoregulatory mechanism of placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells(PD-MSCs)in HIBD treatment.Seven-day-old rat pups were randomly divided into HIBD,PD-MSC,fibroblast,and control groups.Forty-eight hours after HIBD induction,cells at a density of 5×104 cells/10µl were injected into the cerebral tissue in the PD-MSC and fibroblast groups.The TNF-α,interleukin-17(IL-17),interferon-γ(IFN-γ),and IL-10 levels were detected through quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Regulatory T cell(Tregs)populations were detected through flow cytometry,and forkhead box P3(Foxp3)was measured through western blot analysis.Behavioral tests and gross and pathological examinations showed that PD-MSC treatment exerted significantly stronger neuroprotective effects than the other treatments.The expression levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines were substantially upregulated after HI injury.Compared with fibroblast treatment,PD-MSC treatment inhibited the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increased the production of IL-10 in the ischemic hemispheres and peripheral blood serum(all P<0.01).Flow cytometry results showed a notable increase in the number of Tregs within the spleen of the HIBD group.Moreover,the number of Tregs and the Foxp3 expression levels were higher in the PD-MSC treatment group than in the HIBD and fibroblast groups(all P<0.01).Our research suggests that the mechanism of PD-MSC treatment for HIBD partially involves inflammatory response suppression.Hongfang Ding Hui Zhang Huifang Ding Dong Li Xinhao Yi Xiaoxu Ma Ruijuan Li Mei Huang Xiuli Ju 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,8:10

9EFFECT OF PEROXISOME PROLIFERATOR-ACTIVATED RECEPTOR ACTIVATORS ON TUMOR NECROSIS FACTOR-αEXPRESSION IN NEONATAL RAT CARDIAC MYOCYTES显示文摘Objective To investigate the effect of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α(PPARα) and PPARγactivators on tumor necrosis factor-α(TNFα) expression in neonatal rat cardiac myocytes. Methods Primary cultures of cardiac myocytes from 1- to 3-day-old Wistar rats were prepared, and myocytes were ex-posed to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and varying concentrations of PPARαor PPARγactivator (fenofibrate or pioglitazone).RT-PCR and ELISA were used to measure TNFα, PPARα, and PPARγexpression in cultured cardiac myocytes. Transient tr-ansfection of TNFαpromoter with or without nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) binding site to cardiac myocytes was performed. Results Pretreatment of cardiac myocytes with fenofibrate or pioglitazone inhibited LPS-induced TNFαmRNA and protein expression in a dose-dependent manner. However, no significant changes were observed on PPARαor PPARγmRNA expression when cardiac myocytes were pretreated with fenofibrate or pioglitazone. Proportional suppression of TNFαpromoter activity was observed when myocytes was transiently transfected with whole length of TNFαpromoter (-721/+17) after being stimulated with LPS and fenofibrate or pioglitazone, whereas no change of promoter activity was observed with transfection of TNFαreporter construct in deletion of NF-κB binding site (-182/+17). Conclusions PPARαand PPARγactivators may inhibit cardiac TNFαexpression but not accompanied by change of PPARαor PPARγmRNA expression. Therefore PPARαand PPARγactivators appear to play a role in anti-inflammation. 11Reductive immobilization of perrhenate in soil and groundwater using starch-stabilized ZVI nanoparticles显示文摘Perrhenate(ReO4-) was used as nonradioactive surrogate for the radionuclide pertechnetate(99TcO-4) to investigate the potential of using starch-stabilized zero valent iron(ZVI) nanoparticles for reductive immobilization of pertechnetate in soil and groundwater.Batch kinetic tests indicated that the starch-stabilized ZVI nanoparticles were able to reductively remove ~96% of perrhenate(10 mg/L) from water within 8 h.XRD analyses confirmed that ReO 2 was the reduction product.A pseudo-first-order kinetic model was able to interpret the kinetic data,which gave a pseudo first order rate constant(kobs) value of 0.43h-1 at pH 6.9 and room temperature(25℃).Increasing solution pH up to 8 progressively increased the reaction rate.However,highly alkaline pH(10) resulted in much inhibited reaction rate.Consequently,the optimal pH range was identified to be from 7 to 8.Increasing solution temperature from 15 to 45℃ increased k obs from 0.38 to 0.53 h-1.The classical Arrhenius equation was able to interpret the temperature effect,which gave a low activation energy value of 7.61 kJ/mol.When the ReO-4-loaded loess was treated with the stabilized nanoparticles suspension([Fe]=560 mg/L),the water leachable ReO-4 was reduced by 57% and nearly all eluted Re was in the form of ReO2.This finding indicates that starch-stabilized ZVI nanoparticles are promising for facilitating in situ immobilization of ReO-4 in soil and groundwater.LIU HongFang QIAN TianWei ZHAO DongYe 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,2:7
12Influence of oxygen gas content on the structural and optical properties of ZnO thin films deposited by RF magnetron sputtering at room temperature显示文摘Zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films were deposited on sapphire (0001) substrates at room temperature by radiofrequency (RF) magnetron sputtering at oxygen gas contents of 0%,25%,50% and 75%,respectively.The influence of oxygen gas content on the structural and optical properties of ZnO thin films was studied by a surface profile measuring system,X-ray diffraction analysis,atomic force microscopy,and UV spectrophotometry.It is found that the size of ZnO crystalline grains increases first and then decreases with the increase of oxygen gas content,and the maximum grain size locates at the 25% oxygen gas content.The crystalline quality and average optical transmittance (>90%) in the visible-light region of the ZnO film prepared at an oxygen gas content of 25% are better than those of ZnO films at the other contents.The obtained results can be attributed to the resputtering by energetic oxygen anions in the growing process.LIU Baoting ZHOU Yang ZHENG Hongfang LI Mana GUO Zhe HAO Qingxun PENG Yingcai 2011Rare Metals2011,30,2:6

14Enhanced pyrocatalysis of the pyroelectric BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure for dye decomposition driven by cold–hot temperature alternation显示文摘The BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure,which is fabricated via a simple mixing–calcining method,benefits the significant enhancement of the pyrocatalytic performance.With the growth of g-C_(3)N_(4) content in the heterostructure pyrocatalysts from 0 to 25%,the decomposition ratio of Rhodamine B(RhB)dye after 18 cold-hot temperature fluctuation(25-65℃)cycles increases at first and then decreases,reaching a maximum value of~94.2%at 10%while that of the pure BiFeO_(3) is~67.7%.The enhanced dye decomposition may be due to the generation of the internal electric field which strengthens the separation of the positive and negative carriers and further accelerates their migrations.The intermediate products in the pyrocatalytic reaction also have been detected and confirmed,which proves the key role of the pyroelectric effect in realizing the dye decomposition using BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure catalyst.The pyroelectric BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure shows the potential application in pyrocatalytically degrading dye wastewater.Mingzi Chen Yanmin Jia Huamei Li Zheng Wu Tianyin Huang Hongfang Zhang 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2:6
15Hepatitis C Virus Infection Downregulates the Ligands of the Activating Receptor NKG2D显示文摘Natural killer (NK) cells are a major component of the host innate immune defense against various pathogens. Several viruses, including hepatitis C virus (HCV), have developed strategies to evade the NK-cell response. In our study, we found HCV infection could trigger DNA damage response by both ataxia telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and ATM- and Rad3-related (ATR) pathways. Recent reports had revealed that NKG2D ligands (NK cell-activating ligands) were upregulated when a major DNA damage checkpoint pathway was activated. However, here we found that DNA damage response was activated but NKG2D ligands were downregulated upon HCV infection. Further studies showed that the protease NS3/4A of HCV which had been shown relation with immune invasion contributed to the reduced expression of NKG2D ligands. 16Autonomic Nervous Function in Vasovagal Syncope of Children and Adolescents显示文摘Syncope is defined as a transient loss of consciousness due to global cerebral hypoperfusion, accompanied by loss of muscle tone and failure to maintain an active position. Vasovagal syncope (VVS) is the most common presentation of syncope, and its diagnostic criteria include:(1) absence of any other evident etiology for syncope or presyncope,(2) positive response to head-up tilt test with evident vasovagal reaction (hypotension and/or bradycardia), and (3) no concomitant chronic or acute disease [1, 2]. The onset of VVS peaks initially in childhood and adolescence, and accounts for 60%–70% of all syncopal cases. Clinicians pay great attention to syncope among children and adolescents, due to its high prevalence and its impact on patients’ quality of life. Affected individuals often experience mental stress, economic burdens, and accidental bodily injuries related to syncope [2]. While the pathogenesis of VVS is not fully understood, autonomic nervous dysfunction has been identified as a contributing mechanism. 17Encapsulating metal organic framework into hollow mesoporous carbon sphere as efficient oxygen bifunctional electrocatalyst显示文摘Applying metal organic frameworks(MOFs) in electrochemical systems is a currently emerging field owing to the rich metal nodes and highly specific surface area of MOFs. However, the problems for MOFs that need to be solved urgently are poor electrical conductivity and low ion transport. Here we present a facile in situ growth method for the rational synthesis of MOFs@hollow mesoporous carbon spheres(HMCS)yolk–shell-structured hybrid material for the first time. The size of the encapsulated Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework-67(ZIF-67) is well controlled to 100 nm due to the spatial confinement effect of HMCS, and the electrical conductivity of ZIF-67 is also increased significantly. The ZIF@HMCS-25% hybrid material obtained exhibits a highly efficient oxygen reduction reaction activity with 0.823 V(vs. reversible hydrogen electrode) half-wave potential and an even higher kinetic current density(JK= 13.8 m A cm-2) than commercial Pt/C. ZIF@HMCS-25% also displays excellent oxygen evolution reaction performance and the overpotential of ZIF@HMCS-25% at 10 m A cm-2 is 407 m V. In addition, ZIF@HMCS-25% is further employed as an air electrode for a rechargeable Zn–air battery, exhibiting a high power density(120.2 m W cm-2 at 171.4 m A cm-2) and long-term charge/discharge stability(80 h at 5 m A cm-2). 18Stalk cutting mechanism of no-tillage planter for wide/narrow row farming mode显示文摘A no-tillage planter of narrow row spacing was designed according to the agronomic requirements of wide/narrow row farming mode in the black soil region of Northeast China.Due to the narrow spacing of the seeder unit,a gear-tooth stalk cutting mechanism was designed in order to prevent residues from blocking the planter.The basic parameters,number and edge curve of the stalk cutting blade were designed and optimized.Three-factor and three-level combined orthogonal experiments were conducted using the factors of working speed(1.12 m/s,1.57 m/s and 2.02 m/s),tillage depth(75 mm,90 mm and 105 mm)and cutter spacing(15 mm,30 mm and 45 mm),which significantly affected stalk cutting rate and soil disturbance rate.The optimal combination is the working speed of 1.62 m/s,tillage depth of 92 mm and cutter spacing of 35 mm.Under this condition,the stalk cutting rate is more than 90%and soil disturbance rate is 7.5%-12.0%.The performance of the new no-tillage planter was tested by using the above parameters.The results showed that the no-tillage planter of narrow row spacing came up to the relevant national standards in China.Jia Honglei Jiang Xinming Yuan Hongfang Zhuang Jian Zhao Jiale Guo Mingzhuo 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2:5
