| 4 | 对急性憩室出血患者进行早期结肠镜诊治可提高医疗资源利用率显示文摘背景:在发达国家,憩室出血是严重的急性下消化道出血最常见的原因。早期结肠镜(≤24小时)的作用仍然存在争议,目前尚无早期肠镜应用于急性憩室出血的数据。本研究旨在通过美国全国住院患者样本库,评估结肠镜诊治的时机对急性憩室出血患者预后的影响。方法:采用第9版国际疾病分类(ICD 9),对全国住院患者样本库中2012-2014年间的病例进行选择并提取资料。纳入出院诊断(包括主要诊断或第二诊断)为憩室病合并出血和憩室炎合并出血的病例,排除年龄不满18周岁以及住院期间未行结肠镜检查的病例。首要结局指标为住院时间和住院总费用。结果:共计88,600例患者纳入研究,其中45,020例(50.8%)在入院24小时内接受了结肠镜检查(早期肠镜组),而另外43,580例(49.2%)则是在入院24小时后行结肠镜检查(晚期肠镜组)。早期肠镜组较晚期肠镜组患者住院时间显著缩短(3.7天vs 5.6天,P<0.001),住院总花费显著降低($9317 vs$11,767,P<0.001)。两组患者病死率的差异无统计学意义(0.7%vs 0.8%)。对潜在致混淆因素进行校正后,两组间住院时间和住院总费用的差异仍然具有统计学意义。结论:对于急性憩室出血,早期结肠镜诊治可显著缩短住院时间,降低住院费用,而且并不会增加病死率。选择适宜的急性憩室出血病例进行早期结肠镜诊治,具有节省医疗资源的潜在意义。进一步研究需明确哪些憩室出血患者能从早期结肠镜诊治中获益。 | Hamzeh Saraireh Obada Tayyem Mohamed Tausif Siddiqui Bashar Hmoud Mohammad Bilal | 2019 | Gastroenterology Report2019,7,2: | 1 |

| 17 | Deep Learning and Holt-Trend Algorithms for Predicting Covid-19 Pandemic显示文摘The Covid-19 epidemic poses a serious public health threat to the world,where people with little or no pre-existing human immunity can be more vulnerable to its effects.Thus,developing surveillance systems for predicting the Covid-19 pandemic at an early stage could save millions of lives.In this study,a deep learning algorithm and a Holt-trend model are proposed to predict the coronavirus.The Long-Short Term Memory(LSTM)and Holttrend algorithms were applied to predict confirmed numbers and death cases.The real time data used has been collected from theWorld Health Organization(WHO).In the proposed research,we have considered three countries to test the proposed model,namely Saudi Arabia,Spain and Italy.The results suggest that the LSTM models show better performance in predicting the cases of coronavirus patients.Standard measure performance Mean squared Error(MSE),Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE),Mean error and correlation are employed to estimate the results of the proposed models.The empirical results of the LSTM,using the correlation metrics,are 99.94%,99.94%and 99.91%in predicting the number of confirmed cases in the three countries.As far as the results of the LSTM model in predicting the number of death of Covid-19,they are 99.86%,98.876%and 99.16%with respect to Saudi Arabia,Italy and Spain respectively.Similarly,the experiment’s results of the Holt-Trend model in predicting the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19,using the correlation metrics,are 99.06%,99.96%and 99.94%,whereas the results of the Holt-Trend model in predicting the number of death cases are 99.80%,99.96%and 99.94%with respect to the Saudi Arabia,Italy and Spain respectively.The empirical results indicate the efficient performance of the presented model in predicting the number of confirmed and death cases of Covid-19 in these countries.Such findings provide better insights regarding the future of Covid-19 this pandemic in general.The results were obtained by applying time series models,which need to be considered for the sake of saving the lives of many people. | Theyazn H.H.Aldhyani Melfi Alrasheed Mosleh Hmoud Al-Adaileh Ahmed Abdullah Alqarni Mohammed Y.Alzahrani Ahmed H.Alahmadi | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,5: | 0 |

| 20 | Effects of a low-radiotoxicity uranium salt(uranyl acetate) on biochemical and hematological parameters of the catfish,Clarias gariepinus显示文摘Specimens of Clarias gariepinus were treated with lethal(70,75,80,85,90,and 95 mg/L) and sub-lethal concentrations(8,12 and 16 mg/L) of uranyl acetate,a low-radiotoxicity uranium salt. The LC 50 value was registered as 81.45 mg/L. The protein and glycogen concentrations in liver and muscles were decreased in the fish exposed to sub-lethal concentrations. The red blood cell(RBC) and white blood cell(WBC) counts,haemoglobin(Hb) concentration and haematocrit(Hct) values were decreased. Different blood indices like mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular haemoglobin(MCH) and mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration(MCHC) were negatively affected. Level of plasma glucose was elevated whereas protein was decreased. The level of calcium concentration(Ca) was declined in the blood of exposed fish whereas magnesium(Mg) remains unchanged. The activity level of glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT) and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT) was elevated in exposed fish. These effects were more pronounced in the last period of exposure and in higher concentrations.
