1河姆渡遗址动植物遗存的鉴定研究显示文摘河姆渡遗址中发现的动物遗骨,石化程度很轻。据C14测定,第四文化层距今已近七千年。又据微体古生物分析报告,由下至上是由微鹹水沼泽相过渡到淡水陆相的沉积亚粘土与粘土组成。动物遗骨大多发现在第三、四文化层内,尤以第四层为多。这些动物遗骨十分破碎,散布在遗址的各个地方,这种现象,可能是当时人类食用时敲碎的,食用后又随地丢掉的缘故。考虑到文化分层在动物上的意义不大,因此,我们把所有的动物标本放在一起研究讨论。Natural History Section, Chekiang Provincial Museum 1978考古学报1978,,1:65

4Sinobaatar gen. nov.: First multituberculate from the Jehol Biota of Liaoning,Northeast China显示文摘A multituberculate skeleton from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation at Dawangzhangzi, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, Northeast China, provides new morphological information for early multituberculates. The specimen is the holotype of Sinobaatar lingyuanensis gen. et sp. nov. It has a narrow skull that lacks the superorbital crest or postorbital process. The dental formula is 3·?·5·2/1·0·3·2. The dental morphology, especially that of cheek teeth, of S. lingyuanensis is similar to that of Eobaatar, which places it in the family Eobaataridae. The postcranial skeleton of Sinobaatar is similar to that of other multituberculates. As in Holotheria, Metatarsal V of Sinobaatar articulates only with the cuboid and has no contact with the calcaneus, which probably represents the primitive condition of multituberculates. Nine carpals of Sinobaatar resemble those of Zhang-heotherium, except the centrale being larger than the trape-zoid. 9Two new species of Japalura(Squamata:Agamidae)from the Hengduan Mountain Range,China显示文摘Until recently,the agamid species,Japalura flaviceps,was recognized to have the widest geographic distribution among members of the genus occurring in China,from eastern Tibet to Shaanxi Province.However,recent studies restricted the distribution of J.flaviceps to the Dadu River valley only in northwestern Sichuan Province,suggesting that records of J.flaviceps outside the Dadu River valley likely represent undescribed diversity.During two herpetofaunal surveys in 2013 and 2015,eight and 12 specimens of lizards of the genus Japalura were collected from the upper Nujiang(=Salween)Valley in eastern Tibet,China,and upper Lancang(=Mekong)Valley in northwestern Yunnan,China,respectively.These specimens display a unique suite of diagnostic morphological characters.Our robust comparisons of phenotype reveal that these populations can be distinguished readily from J.flaviceps and all other recognized congeners.Herein,we describe the two Japalura lineages as new species,Japalura laeviventris sp.nov.and Japalura iadina sp.nov..In addition,we provide updated conservation assessments for the new species as well as imperiled congeners according to the IUCN criteria for classification,discuss the importance of color patterns in the diagnosis and description of species in the genus Japalura,and discuss directions for future taxonomic studies of the group.Kai WANG Ke JIANG Da-Hu ZOU Fang YAN Cameron D.SILER Jing CHE Kunming Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and Department of Biology,University of Oklahoma Tibet University 2016Zoological Research2016,37,1:9
10A new species of Macrocnemus (Reptilia: Protorosauria) from the Middle Triassic of southwestern China and its palaeogeographical implication显示文摘A new species of the terrestrial protorosaur Macrocnemus is briefly described and named Macrocne-mus fuyuanensis sp. nov. The specimen was found from the marine Triassic of Yunnan Province, southwestern China. It differs from the type species M. bassanii in having the following characters: (1) 17 or 18 dorsal vertebrae; (2) relatively long humerus; and (3) femur longer than tibia. M. fuyuanensis is the only record of the genus outside Monte San Giorgio area and the first definite terrestrial reptile found from the marine Triassic of China. The age of the fossil-bearing Zhuganpo Member of the Falang Formation is believed to be the Ladinian based on associated vertebrate fauna. The existence of Mac-rocnemus in the limestone suggests the presence of a terrestrial ecosystem which probably originated from the Anisian and well developed in the Ladinian in this region. 11Earliest Asian discoglossid frog from western Liaoning显示文摘Based on a superbly preserved skeleton, a new anuran taxon has been named and described from the Yixian Formation (Upper Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous), Liaoning Province,northeastern China. This discovery documents the first discoglossid fossil from China, the earliest record of the group in Asia, and the only second Mesozoic discoglossid known from fully articulated material in the world. 12Phosphatized embryo fossils from the Cambrian explosion显示文摘The earliest Cambrian (Meishucunian) phosphatized metazoan Olivooides from the Yangtze platform is represented by different developmental stages: from blastula through possible gastrula to tissue differentiation and finally to the hatched animals. The fossilization of embryos opens a new field in palaeontology-palaeoembryology. 15Human remains and the environment of Early Pleistocene in the Nihewan Basin显示文摘A new Early Pleistocene Paleolithic site was found in July 2001 in the Nihewan Ba-sin, Hebei Province. Totally 500 mammal specimens assigned to 21 species and 5 lithic artifacts were collected. The coexistence of Allophaiomys deucalion, Borsodia chinensis and Yangia tingi provides important evidence of chronology. On the basis of the comparison of mammalian fauna, the date of Paleolithic artifacts is probably earlier than 1.8 MaBP, possibly 2.0 MaBP. This is the earliest evidence of hominid activity found so far in North China. The hominid at that time in the Nihewan Basin lived in an environment of arid grasslands with scattered trees of temperate zone. 18Stable isotopic analysis on sus bones from the Wanfabozi site, Tonghua, Jilin显示文摘In order to study the sus diets and explore the possibility to distinguish domestic pig from wild boar through dietary analysis, stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes of 28 pig bones from archaeological site of Wanfabozi in Tonghua City, Jilin Province were analyzed. The δ 13C and δ 15N values of uncontaminated bones show that the overall pigs in the site were generally herbivores and ate mainly C3 plants. Significant difference of δ15N values was observed between wild boar and domestic pigs, which may result from the higher consumption of animal protein in domestic pigs other than from that in wild boar, possibly from human leftover or waste,. 20On the origin of printing in the light of new archaeological discoveries显示文摘30 years have passed since a printed dharani sutra scroll was discovered in 1966 in Kyongju, Korea. However, there have been different views about the date and place of its printing and publication in Korea and abroad. Some Korean scholars think that it was translated into Chinese from Sanskrit in 704 in China and printed during 706-751 in the Silla period in Korea. After a further research it is now proved that this sutra was translated into Chinese in 701 and printed in the follow-ing year, 702, in Luoyang, during the reign of Empress Wu. This shows that the sutra could not have been printed in the Silla period. The discoveries of the Saddharma pundarik sutra printed during 690-699 and the Sanskrit dharani charm printed around 650-670 in China also show that the dharani sutra found in Korea is not the earliest one.
