2Gut microbiota have blood types as human显示文摘ABO blood group system was firstly recognized by Landsteiner in 1900[1].Since then,the antigens of the ABO system (A,B and H determinants,respectively)have been shown to encompass complex carbohydrate structures [2].A and B antigen were synthesized by the sequential action of glycosyltransferases,with A and B glycosyltransferases catalyzing the addition of N-acetylgalactosamine and D-galactose to precursor H antigen,respectively. 4Aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides as a novel class of immunomodulators with interleukin-17A inhibitory activity显示文摘Interleukin(IL)-17A,a pro-inflammatory cytokine,is a fundamental function in the onset and advancement of multiple immune diseases.To uncover the primary compounds with IL-17A inhibitory activity,a large-scale screening of the library of traditional Chinese medicine constituents and microbial secondary metabolites was conducted using splenic cells from IL-17A-GFP reporter mice cultured under Th17-priming conditions.Our results indicated that some aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides isolated from a wetland mud-derived fungus,Myrothecium gramineum,showed remarkable IL-17A inhibitory activity.Nine new aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides,myrogramins A-I(1,4-11),and two known ones(2 and 3)were isolated and identified from the strain.Compounds 1,3,4,10,and 11 exhibited significant IL-17A inhibitory activity.Among them,compound 3,with a high fermentation yield dosedependently inhibited the generation of IL-17A and suppressed glycolysis in splenic cells under Th17-priming conditions.Strikingly,compound 3 suppressed immunopathology in both IL-17A-mediated animal models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and pulmonary hypertension.Our results revealed that aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides are a novel class of immunomodulators with IL-17A inhibitory activity,and hold great promise applications in treating IL-17A-mediated immune diseases.Xin Tang Chuanxi Wang Lei Wang Feifei Ren Runqiao Kuang Zhenhua Li Xue Han Yiming Chen Guodong Chen Xiuqing Wu Jie Liu Hengwen Yang Xingzhong Liu Chen Wang Hao Gao Zhinan Yin 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:0
5Studies on situation reasoning approach of autonomous underwater vehicle under uncertain environment显示文摘The purpose of this study is to provide a situation reasoning module for autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV),to make decision-making agents know what is the current situation,what needs to be done in the present situation,and what is the risk of task present situation.This will enhance efficiency for AUV.Situation reasoning for AUV aims to communicate mission assessments to decision-making agents.Thus,in solving this problem,it is important to design a new situation reasoning module for AUV.This article is presenting the situation reasoning module for AUV,which includes uncertain event detection,uncertain event recognition and ontology model of the situation.The article concludes by demonstrating the benefits of the situation reasoning module in a real-world scenario.A situation reasoning simulation is demonstrated in an AUV while performing a complex mission.The approach was validated by marine experiments and simulating experiments for AUV.Results show the effectiveness of situation reasoning approach.Lili Yin Deyun Chen Hengwen Gu Ning Guan Rubo Zhang Handan Hou 2021CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2021,6,2:0
6The Application of Fertilizer and AMF Promotes Growth and Reduces the Cadmium and Lead Contents of Ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum L.) in a Copper Mining Area显示文摘Heavy metal-polluted soil was collected from the Pulang copper mine in Shangri-La City,Yunnan Province,Southwest China.The effects of fertilizer(organic and inorganic)and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)on ryegrass(Lolium multiflorum L.)growth,root morphology,mineral nutrition and cadmium(Cd)and lead(Pb)contents were investigated by pot experiments.The results showed that both fertilizer and AMF significantly ameliorated the root morphology and mineral nutrition,reduced the Cd and Pb contents,and promoted the growth of ryegrass.Among all treatments,the combined application of organic–inorganic compound fertilizer with AMF had the highest effect,resulting in increases in root length,surface area and branch number by 2.3,1.1,and 3.9 times,respectively;an 88%increase in plant biomass;a nitrogen content increase of 2.3 and 1.2 times,and phosphorus content increase of 62%and 68%in shoots and roots,respectively was also recorded as well as decreases in Cd content by 34%and 62%and Pb content by 47%and 34%in shoots and roots,respectively.Twofactor analysis showed that both fertilizer and AMF significantly promoted ryegrass growth(plant height,biomass,chlorophyll content,root length,nitrogen and phosphorus content)and reduced the Cd and Pb contents in roots,and there was a synergistic effect between them.Moreover,the nitrogen and phosphorus contents were very significantly positively correlated with the shoot and root biomasses but very significantly negatively correlated with the Cd and Pb contents of ryegrass.Thus,the application of fertilizer and AMF synergistically improved ryegrass growth on polluted soils in the copper mining area.Jiaxin Chen Jiawei Guo Zhixin Yang Jiqing Yang Hengwen Dong Huiyun Wang Yalei Wang Fangdong Zhan 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,2:0
7New insights into the effect of molecular crowding environment induced by dimethyl sulfoxide on the conformation and stability of G-quadruplex显示文摘Various structures of G-quadruplex in biosystems play an important role in different diseases and are often regulated by a variety of molecular crowding environments induced by internal and even external factors(e.g.,a solvent).Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),a universal solvent,has been widely used in biological studies and for drug therapy,but little is known regarding its effect on G-quadruplex structure and stability.Here,we report the influence of molecular crowding environment induced by DMSO on the conformation and stability of G-quadruplex structure.We show that the G-quadruplex-forming sequences such as human telomeric sequence,which may have diverse conformations in different environments,tend to convert their topologies to parallel structures under the molecular crowding stimulated by DMSO.Moreover,DMSO can increase the stability of the parallel and antiparallel topologies,especially the parallel G-quadruplex sequence c-kit,but not the hybrid topologies.Further analysis of c-kit using the CD and NMR technique,combined with the unique structural characteristics of c-kit,reveals that the crowding,dehydration and interaction of DMSO are conductive to the formation and stability of the parallel G-quadruplex.The present study suggests that,DMSO,a common solvent used in DNA experiments,may have a nonnegligible influence on the structure and stability of G-quadruplex.Yumeng Yang Junfeng Xiang Hongxia Sun Hengwen Chen Hong Zhang Yalin Tang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,3:0
