| 2 | Insight of the stability and activity of platinum single atoms on ceria显示文摘Single-atom catalysts (SACs) have recently attracted broad attention in the catalysis field due to their maximized atom efficiency and unique catalytic properties.An atomic-level understanding of the interaction between the metal atoms and support is vital for developing stable and high-performance SACs.In this work,Pt1 single atoms with Ioadings up to 4 wt.% were fabricated on ceria nanorods using the atomic layer deposition technique.To understand the Pt-O-Ce bond interfacial interactions,the stability of Pt1 single atoms in the hydrogen reducing environment was extensively investigated by using in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy CO chemisorption measurements.It was found that ceria defect sites,metal Ioadings and high-temperature calcination are effective ways to tune the stability of Pt1 single atoms in the hydrogen environment.X-ray photoemission spectroscopy further showed that Pt1 single atoms on ceria are dominantly at a +2 valence state at the defect and step edge sites,while those on terrace sites are at a +4 state.The above tailored stability and electronic properties of Pt1 single atoms are found to be strongly correlated with the catalytic activity in the dry and water-mediated CO oxidation reactions. | Xuxu Ye Hengwei Wang Yue Lin Xinyu Liu Lina Cao Jian Gu Junling Lu | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,6: | 13 |

| 5 | A Review on Particle Size Effect in Metal-Catalyzed Heterogeneous Reactions显示文摘Size of metal nanoparticles(NPs)plays decisive roles in metal-catalyzed heterogeneous reactions,due to the drastic variation of the geometric and electronic properties of metal NPs with size.Along with the development of controlled catalyst synthesis,tremendous efforts have been devoted to understanding the nature of the particle size effect.In particular,identification of the individual roles of size-dependent geometric and electronic effects on metal-catalyzed reactions is essential,but remains challenging since they are tightly hybridized together with particle size variation.In this review,w e first discuss the fundamentals of the size-dependent geometric and electronic properties of metal NPs and their crucial roles in catalysis in general.Then we summarize the previous representative studies of the particle size effect,metal-by-metal,in heterogeneous catalysis.We highlighted the extension of particle size effect to ultrafine cluster and single-atom catalysts,the new frontiers in heterogeneous catalysis.In the followings,we further introduce the recent advances in disentangling the size-dependent geometric and electronic effects and unveiling their individual contributions to catalysis.Finally,we discuss the challenges and perspectives of investigations on the size effect in metal catalysis for the future studies. | Hengwei Wang Junling Lu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2020,38,11: | 5 |
| 6 | EXTENSION OF COMBINED SELF-CONSISTENT AND MORI-TANAKA APPROACH TO EVALUATION OF ELASTOPLASTIC PROPERTY OF PARTICULATE COMPOSITES显示文摘The combined self-consistent and Mori-Tanaka approach proposed for the evaluation of the effective elastic property of particulate composites is extended to evaluate the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites.Suppose there are sufficient identical particle inclusions with total volume fraction c in a representative volume element(RVE)of a particulate composite,these inclusions are separated into two groups,with volume fractions(1-λ-1)c and c/λ over the RVE,respectively.We assume that the first group of inclusions has already been embedded in the original matrix to form a fictitious matrix,and the RVE of the composite consists of the fictitious matrix and the second group of particle inclusions.The property of the fictitious matrix is determined by the conventional self-consistent scheme,while the effective elastoplastic property of the composite is determined by the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme.Analysis shows that,the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme and self-consistent scheme can be obtained as the two limit cases of the extended approach as λ = 1 and λ = ∞,respectively.The constitutive behavior of the inclusions in either Group I or Group II is identical,indicating the consistency in the description of the constitutive behavior in the two steps.Furthermore,the effective elastoplastic behavior of some typical particulate composites is analyzed,and the satisfactory agreement between the computational and experimental results demonstrates the validity of the extended approach.The introduced λ can serve reasonably as a parameter,which is related to the actual property of composites and can be identified by experiments,for a more accurate evaluation of the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites. | Xianghe Peng Ning Hu Xuesong Long Hengwei Zheng | 2013 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,1: | 5 |
| 7 | In Situ Synthesis of Fluorescent Mesoporous Silica–Carbon Dot Nanohybrids Featuring Folate Receptor-Overexpressing Cancer Cell Targeting and Drug Delivery显示文摘Multifunctional nanocarrier-based theranostics is supposed to overcome some key problems in cancer treatment.In this work,a novel method for the preparation of a fluorescent mesoporous silica–carbon dot nanohybrid was developed.Carbon dots(CDs),from folic acid as the raw material,were prepared in situ and anchored on the surface of amino-modified mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs–NH2) via a microwave-assisted solvothermal reaction.The as-prepared nanohybrid(designated MSNs–CDs) not only exhibited strong and stable yellow emission but also preserved the unique features of MSNs(e.g.,mesoporous structure,large specific surface area,and good biocompatibility),demonstrating a potential capability for fluorescence imagingguided drug delivery.More interestingly,the MSNs–CDs nanohybrid was able to selectively target folate receptor-overexpressing cancer cells(e.g.,HeLa),indicating that folic acid still retained its function even after undergoing the solvothermal reaction.Benefited by these excellent properties,the fluorescent MSNs–CDs nanohybrid can be employed as a fluorescence-guided nanocarrier for the targeted deliveryof anticancer drugs(e.g.,doxorubicin),thereby enhancing chemotherapeutic efficacy and reducing side effects.Our studies may provide a facile strategy for the fabrication of multifunctional MSN-based theranostic platforms,which is beneficial in the diagnosis and therapy of cancers in future. | Shuai Zhao Shan Sun Kai Jiang Yuhui Wang Yu Liu Song Wu Zhongjun Li Qinghai Shu Hengwei Lin | 2019 | Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2: | 5 |
| 8 | Influences of friction drag on spontaneous condensation in water vapor supersonic flows显示文摘A mathematical model was developed to investigate the water vapor spontaneous condensation under supersonic flow conditions. A numerical simulation was performed for the water vapor condensable supersonic flows through Laval nozzles under different flow friction conditions. The comparison between numerical and experimental results shows that the model is accurate enough to investigate the supersonic spontaneous condensation flow of water vapor inside Laval nozzles. The influences of flow friction drag on supersonic spontaneous condensation flow of water vapor inside Laval nozzles were investigated. | 9 | Green and Near-Infrared Dual-Mode Afterglow of Carbon Dots and Their Applications for Confidential Information Readout显示文摘Near-infrared(NIR),particularly NIR-containing dual-/multimode afterglow,is very attractive in many fields of application,but it is still a great challenge to achieve such property of materials. Herein,we report a facile method to prepare green and NIR dual-mode afterglow of carbon dots(CDs) through in situ embedding o-CDs(being prepared from o-phenylenediamine) into cyanuric acid(CA) matrix(named o-CDs@CA). Further studies reveal that the green and NIR afterglows of o-CDs@CA originate from thermal activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) and room temperature phosphorescence(RTP) of o-CDs,respectively. In addition,the formation of covalent bonds between o-CDs and CA,and the presence of multiple fixation and rigid e ects to the triplet states of o-CDs are confirmed to be critical for activating the observed dual-mode afterglow. Due to the shorter lifetime and insensitiveness to human vision of the NIR RTP of o-CDs@CA,it is completely covered by the green TADF during directly observing. The NIR RTP signal,however,can be readily captured if an optical filter(cut-o wavelength of 600 nm) being used. By utilizing these unique features,the applications of o-CDs@CA in anti-counterfeiting and information encryption have been demonstrated with great confidentiality. | 14 | Spatiotemporal Mapping of Salt Marshes in the Intertidal Zone of China during 1985-2019显示文摘This study mapped the areal extent,identified the species composition,and analyzed the changes of salt marshes in the intertidal zone of China during the period 1985–2019.With the aid of the cloud platform of the Google Earth Engine,we selected Landsat 5/8 and Sentinel-2 images and used the support vector machine classification method to extract salt marsh information for the years of 1985,1990,1995,2000,2005,2010,2015,and 2019.Seven major species of salt marshes:Phragmites australis,Suaeda spp.,Spartina alterniflora,Scirpus mariqueter,Tamarix chinensis,Cyperus malaccensis,and Sesuvium portulacastrum were identified.Our results showed that salt marshes are mainly distributed in Liaoning,Shandong,Jiangsu,Shanghai,and Zhejiang,with varying patterns of shrinking,expansion,or wavering in different places.The distribution of salt marshes has declined considerably from 151,324 ha in 1985 to 115,397 ha in 2019,a drop of 23.7%.During the same period,the area of native species has dropped 95.4%from 77,741 ha to 3,563 ha for Suaeda spp.and 45.1%from 60,511 ha to 33,193 ha for P.australis;on the contrary,the area of exotic species,S.alterniflora,has exhibited a sharp rise from just 99 ha to 67,527 ha.For the past 35 years,the driving factors causing salt marsh changes are mainly land reclamation,variations in water and sand fluxes,and interspecific competition and succession of salt marsh vegetation.These results provide fundamental reference information and could form the scientific basis for formulating policies for the conservation and utilization of salt marsh resources in China. | Guangwei Chen Runjie Jin Zhanjiang Ye Qi Li Jiali Gu Min Luo Yongming Luo George Christakos James Morris Junyu He Dan Li Hengwei Wang Li Song Qiuxuan Wang Jiaping Wu | 2022 | Journal of Remote Sensing2022,,1: | 2 |
