| 1 | Modified g-C_(3)N_(4) derived from ionic liquid and urea for promoting visible-light photodegradation of organic pollutants显示文摘In this work,modified g-C_(3)N_(4) was fabricated successfully by calcination of ionic liquid(IL) and urea.The addition of IL changed the polymerization mode of urea,induced the self-assembly of urea molecules,modified the morphological structure of the tightly packed g-C_(3)N_(4),and extended the electron conjugation system.When using 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Bmim]Cl) as a modifier,the heteroatom Cl could be inserted into the g-C_(3)N_(4) to optimize the electronic structure.The results of characterizations indicate that the unique structure of modified g-C_(3)N_(4) has an expanded electron delocalization range,introduces an interlayer charge transmission channel,promotes the charge transmission,reduces the band gap,enhances the absorption of visible light,and inhibits electron-hole recombination.Modified g-C_(3)N_(4) showed excellent photocatalytic performance for the degradation of rhodamine B and tetracycline.Furthermore,the effect of different anions in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium salts([Bmim]Cl,[Bmim]Br,[Bmim][BF_(4)],and [Bmim][PF_6]) on the structure and function of g-C_(3) N_(4) are discussed. | Hongbing Song Lei Liu Bingxiao Feng Haozhong Wang Meng Xiao Hengjun Gai Yubao Tang Xiaofei Qu Tingting Huang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,12: | 2 |
| 2 | Template-free synthesis of hollow TiO2 nanospheres supported Pt for selective photocatalytic oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde显示文摘Heterogeneous photocatalytic system are widely applied to degrade organic pollutants or converse into high value-added chemicals. Both environmental and energy aspects should be considered to improve these chemical processes, favoring reaction conditions that involve room temperature and ambient O2 pressure. In the present work, hollow titanium dioxide nanospheres were fabricated via template-free method. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by photocatalytic oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde with visible light under atmospheric pressure at room temperature. | 3 | Public-transcriptome-database-assisted selection and validation of reliable reference genes for qRT-PCR in rice显示文摘Accurate quantitative reverse transcription PCR(q RT-PCR)requires reliable reference genes whose expression does not vary in different tissues and developmental stages.However,few reliable reference genes are available for q RT-PCR in rice(Oryza sativa).Here,we established an effective strategy for identifying novel reference genes(NRGs)for reliable normalization of q RT-PCR data in various rice organs and developmental stages.We selected candidate NRGs using the Information Commons for Rice Database and confirmed their expression in Rice Expression Profile Database(Rice XPro)data.Genes with low variation(<2.5 cycle quantification)across tissues and developmental stages,and little fluctuation in expression in heatmaps from Rice XPro data were considered stable NRGs.To validate this strategy,we selected 11 candidate NRGs and calculated their expression stability in different spatio-temporal conditions using five programs,and compared these genes with five established reference genes(ERGs).Only one of the ERGs(UBQ5)was reliable and 10 of the candidate NRGs were more stable than the four remaining ERGs.Therefore,public transcriptomic databases are useful for identifying NRGs.We selected two NRGs,UFC1(Homolog of UFM1-Conjugating Enzyme 1)and Fha B(Homolog of Adhesin Fha B)for q RT-PCR analysis in rice;their homologs might be suitable for other monocot plants. | Zhe Zhao Zixu Zhang Zhi Ding Hengjun Meng Rongxin Shen Huiwu Tang Yao-Guang Liu Letian Chen | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,1: | 2 |
| 4 | Effect of cooling rate followingβforging on texture evolution and variant selection duringβ→αtransformation in Ti-55511 alloy显示文摘The control of the post-forging cooling rate has been a key issue in the industrial production process of titanium alloys. We investigated texture evolution and variant selection(VS) during β → α transformation through high-temperature compression experiments followed by quantitative control of varying cooling rates. Results show that post-forging cooling rates affect β grains, α variants, and α/β textures. The αprecipitation inhibits motions of β static recrystallization(β_(SRX)) grain boundaries and thus leads to grain refining from 0.1 ℃/s to 0.05 ℃/s. Further analysis reveals that lamellae grain boundary widmanstattenα(α_(WGB)) keeps growing rapidly within β-grain in an interface instability manner at 0.1–0.05 ℃/s. Most of α-phase with 50°–60°/<-12–10> is preferentially precipitated at β-medium angle GBs between 30°and 45° and strictly follows BOR with the side of of adjacent β-grain with the same or similar {110} or{111}. Moreover, the texture type transforms gradually from RGoss {110} <1–10> to Brass {110} <1–12>from 25 ℃/s to 1 ℃/s. βgrains exhibit(102) [-201] texture, while the corresponding α has textures of<0001>//Z and <11–20>//Y from 1 ℃/s to 0.05 ℃/s. | 9 | Extending homogeneous fluidization flow regime of Geldart-A particles by exerting axial uniform and steady magnetic field显示文摘The homogeneous/particulate fluidization flow regime is particularly suitable for handling the various gas–solid contact processes encountered in the chemical and energy industry.This work aimed to extend such a regime of Geldart-A particles by exerting the axial uniform and steady magnetic field.Under the action of the magnetic field,the overall homogeneous fluidization regime of Geldart-A magnetizable particles became composed of two parts:inherent homogeneous fluidization and newly-created magnetic stabilization.Since the former remained almost unchanged whereas the latter became broader as the magnetic field intensity increased,the overall homogeneous fluidization regime could be extended remarkably.As for Geldart-A nonmagnetizable particles,certain amount of magnetizable particles had to be premixed to transmit the magnetic stabilization.Among others,the mere addition of magnetizable particles could broaden the homogeneous fluidization regime.The added content of magnetizable particles had an optimal value with smaller/lighter ones working better.The added magnetizable particles might raise the ratio between the interparticle force and the particle gravity.After the magnetic field was exerted,the homogeneous fluidization regime was further expanded due to the formation of magnetic stabilization flow regime.The more the added magnetizable particles,the better the magnetic performance and the broader the overall homogeneous fluidization regime.Smaller/lighter magnetizable particles were preferred to maximize the magnetic performance and extend the overall homogeneous fluidization regime.This phenomenon could be ascribed to that the added magnetizable particles themselves became more Geldart-A than-B type as their density or size decreased. | Qiang Zhang Wankun Liu Hengjun Gai Quanhong Zhu | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2024,65,1: | 0 |
