| 1 | Roles of furfural during the thermal treatment of bio-oil at low temperatures显示文摘The reactive O-containing species in bio-oil could induce the polymerization of bio-oil during its thermal treatment, which affects the relevant utilization of bio-oil significantly. Furans, as the highly reactive Ocontaining species in bio-oil, play important roles during the thermal treatment of bio-oil. In this study,furfural was chosen as the representative of the furans in bio-oil to investigate its roles during the thermal treatment of bio-oil. The raw bio-oil with and without the addition of extra furfural(10 wt% of bio-oil) and pure furfural were pyrolyzed in a fixed-bed reactor at 200–500 ℃. The results show that the interactions among furfural and bio-oil components can take place prior to the evaporation of furfural(<140 ℃) to form the intermediates, then these intermediates could be further polymerized to form large molecular compounds, and coke can be formed via the interactions at temperatures ≥ 300 ℃. At temperatures ≤ 300 ℃, furfural mainly interacts with anhydrosugars. As the temperature further increases, the aromatics are involved in the interactions to form coke. The increased percentage of the coke formed via the interactions is in a linear relation with the conversion of furfural during the pyrolysis at 300–500 ℃(no coke formed at 200 ℃). | 13 | Broadband absorption of macro pyramid structure based flame retardant absorbers显示文摘Flame-retardant materials with good electromagnetic wave absorption play an increasingly important role in Over-the-Air(OTA)tests in microwave anechoic chambers.In this work,carbon nanotubes and ammonium polyphosphate(CNTs@APP)composite were prepared by crosslinking with the silane coupling agent(KH550).The flame retardancy is improved with the increase of APP.However,the microwave absorption performance(MAP)and processing difficulty changed greatly as well.Therefore,magnesium aluminum double-layer metal hydroxide(LDH)was obtained by coprecipitation method and processing into the coating,so as to realize flame retardancy which reaches the limiting oxygen index(LOI)of 24.8%and good MAP at the same time.Then,a high-frequency structure simulator(HFSS^(TM))was used to simulate the pyramid model to realize the broadband absorption,and the optimal parameter range was obtained,that is,when the total height of the material is 40 mm,the height of the base accounts for 1/5-1/3,and the tangent of the half top angle is near 1/5,which result in the best MAP.Finally,the broadband absorption of 14.36 GHz(3.64-18 GHz)was realized when the base height is 1/3,and the broadband absorption of 14 GHz(4-18 GHz)can be realized under the condition of large-angle oblique incidence of 0°-60°. | Hengda Sun Ying Zhang Yue Wu Yue Zhao Ming Zhou Lie Liu Shaolong Tang Guangbin Ji | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33: | 1 |
