| 1 | Total glucosides of paeony attenuates animal psoriasis induced inflammatory response through inhibiting STAT1 and STAT3 phosphorylation显示文摘OBJECTIVE Psoriasis is an immune system meditated disease,especially T cells.It disturbed many people around the world and hard to therapy.Paeonia lactiflora Pall has been used as a medicine in china for thousands of years.Recent studies has found that the main component of Paeonia lactiflora Pall can alleviates the immune response in many diseases.In this study,we researched the effects and possible mechanisms of total glucosides of paeony(TGP)on animal psoriasis in order to study the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of TGP in 5%propranolol creaminduced psoriasis in guinea pigs and Imiquimod(IMQ)cream-induced psoriasis in mice.METHODS The effect of TGP was evaluated using a psoriasis-like model of guinea pigs and mice.Ear thickness was accessed,and pathology injury was observed by HE staining.The levels of serum IL-1β,IL-6,IL-12,IL-17,IL-23,TNF-α,and IFN-γ,skin IL-17A,IL-22 and orphan nuclear receptor(RORγt)mRNA expression,proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA),total or phosphorylated signal transducers and activators of transcription(STAT1 and STAT3)were determined by ELISA,real time PCR,immu⁃nohistochemical staining,and Western blotting,respectively.RESULTS Compared with model group,TGP treatment decreased the ear thickness,improved pathology of psoriasis,alleviated IMQ-induced keratinocyte proliferation,reduced the inflammatory cytokine,and downregulated IL-17A,IL-22,and RORγt mRNA in mice.Further study indicated that TGP inhibited STAT1 and STAT3 phosphorylation in lesion skins of psoriasis-like mice.CONCLUSION TGP alleviates the symptoms of psoriasis-like guinea pigs and mice,and the possible mechanism may relate to inhibit T helper 17(TH17)cell differentiation and keratinocytes proliferation by inhibiting STAT1 and STAT3 phosphorylation. | LI Bin-bin HE Shu-cheng LIU Rui HUANG Liang-liang LIU Ge WANG Rui-xuan YANG Zhuo-yue LIU Xin-yi LENG Ye LIU Dan YE Cheng-yu LI Yun-man CHEN Yong-jian IN Hong FANG Wei-rong | 2019 | 中国药理学与毒理学杂志2019,33,9: | 21 |
| 2 | Clinical analysis of surgical treatment of portal hypertension显示文摘AIM: To review the experience in surgery for 508 patients with portal hypertension and to explore the selection of reasonable operation under different conditions.METHODS: The data of 508 patients with portal hypertension treated surgically in 1991-2001 in our centers were analyzed. Of the 508 patients, 256 were treated with portaazygous devascularization (PAD),167 with portasystemic shunt (PSS), 62 with selective shunt (SS), 11 with combined portasystemic shunt and portaazygous devascularization (PSS+PAD), 9 with liver transplantation (LT), 3 with union operation for hepatic carcinoma and portal hypertension (HCC+PH).RESULTS: In the 167 patients treated with PSS, free portal pressure (FPP) was significantly higher in the patients with a longer diameter of the anastomotic stoma than in those with a shorter diameter before the operation (P<0.01). After the operation, FPP in the former patients markedly decreased compared to the latter ones (P<0.01).The incidence rate of hemorrhage in patients treated with PAD, PSS, SS, PSS+PAD, and HCC+PH was 21.09% (54/256), 13.77 (23/167), 11.29 (7/62), 36.36% (4/11),and 100% (3/3), respectively. The incidence rate of hepatic encephalopathy was 3.91% (10/256), 9.58% (16/167),4.84% (3/62), 9.09% (1/11), and 100% (3/3), respectively while the operative mortality was 5.49% (15/256), 4.22% (7/167), 4.84% (3/62), 9.09% (1/11), and 66.67% (2/3) respectively. The operative mortality of liver transplantation was 22.22% (2/9).CONCLUSION: Five kinds of operation in surgical treatment of portal hypertension have their advantages and disadvantages. | 6 | The potential of Clostridium autoethanogenum,a new single cell protein,in substituting fish meal in the diet of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides):Growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology显示文摘This study investigated the effects of replacing fishmeal with Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)on growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).The control diet contained 350 g/kg fishmeal,and then dietary fishmeal was decreased to 300 g/kg,250 g/kg,200 g/kg,150 g/kg and 100 g/kg by CAP inclusion,respectively(FM-30,FM-25,FM-20,FM-15,FM-10).The largemouth bass(110.0±1.0 g)were fed one of the six diets for 8 weeks.The groups of FM-30,FM-25 and FM-20 showed the similar weight gain(WG)and feed conversion ratio(FCR)to the control(P>0.05),while the WG of FM-10 group was decreased by 15.9%,and FCR increased by 0.12 when compared to the control(P<0.05).FM-15 and FM-10 groups had lower protein retention,lower villus height in intestine and higher serum malondialdehyde content than the control(P<0.05).The protease activity in FM-20,FM-15 and FM-10 groups was lower than that in the control(P<0.05),but no difference was observed in crude protein digestibility among groups(P>0.05).In conclusion,CAP could replace 150 g/kg fishmeal in diet(350 g/kg fishmeal)without adverse effects on growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology of largemouth bass. | Pinxian Yang Xiaoqin Li Bowen Song Ming He Chaoyi Wu Xiangjun Leng | 2023 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,1: | 6 |

| 8 | Paliurus(Paliureae,Rhamnaceae) from the Miocene of East China and its Macrofossil-based Phylogenetic and Phytogeographical History显示文摘The extant genus Paliurus Miller is divided into P.ramosissimus and P.spina-christi groups and is diagnostically characterized by distinctive orbicular-winged fruits with a trilocular(or often bilocular) ovary and basally triveined leaves with a subentire to serrate margin.Here,structurally preserved winged fruits and associated compressed leaves of Paliurus(Paliureae,Rhamnaceae) are reported from the Middle-Upper Miocene Shengxian Formation of Tiantai,Zhejiang,eastern China.The fruits can be identified as Paliurus microcarpa Xiang-Chuan Li sp.nov.,the diagnostic characters of external morphology and anatomy of which differ from those of both extant and fossil generic members;the leaves can be designated as Paliurus sp.The species based on winged fruits,P.mkrocarpa,might represent an ancient intermediate link exclusively known across the P.ramosissimus and P.spina-christi groups,showing a closer affinity to the P.ramosissimus group based on the resemblant smaller fruits with a narrower wing,and to the P.spina-christi group based on the similar wing structure and texture,respectively.Morphological analyses of the present and previous fossil fruit records around the world indicate that diversification of Paliurus had begun in northern transpacific regions by the Late Eocene.The macrofossil records,i.e.,fruits and leaves of Paliurus globally when projected on paleoenvironmental maps in view of changing continental positions through time(from Eocene to Miocene) display that the past distribution of the genus was much wider than the present and belongs to a tropical and warm temperate realm of the Northern Hemisphere.Therefore,the modern restricted disjunction in tropical and warm temperate regions of East Asia and South Europe(even eastwards West Asia) might represent glacial refugia for some of the generic ancient lineages to survive severe cold at least since the terminal Pliocene. | LI Xiangchuan WANG Haofei LENG Qin XIAO Liang GUO Junfeng HE Wenlong | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,5: | 5 |

| 12 | The digestible phosphorus requirement in practical diet for largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides)based on growth and feed utilization显示文摘The present study was conducted to estimate the optimum requirement of phosphorus in practical diets for largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).Six iso-energetic and iso-nitrogenous diets were formulated with the supplementation of monocalcium phosphate(MCP)of 0,5,10,15,20 and 25 g/kg in basal diet containing 350 g/kg fish meal,respectively.The digestible phosphorus of the six diets was measured as 5.7,6.7,7.8,8.7,9.3 and 10.0 g/kg,respectively.Each diet was randomly fed to triplicate groups of 25 juvenile fish(initial body weight,16.0±0.2 g)for 60 days.The results showed that weight gain increased,and feed conversion ratio decreased with the increase of dietary phosphorus.When dietary MCP exceeded 15 g/kg(digestible phosphorus of 8.7 g/kg),the WG and FCR were maintained at the similar values.The crude ash,phosphorus and calcium contents in whole body,apparent digestibility of phosphorus and protein retention also increased with the increasing phosphorus level in diets.Vertebrae phosphorus and calcium levels and plasma phosphorus showed no further increase when dietary MCP reached 20,20 and 10 g/kg with digestible phosphorus of 9.3,9.3 and 7.8 g/kg,respectively.Broken-line analysis indicated that the digestible phosphorus requirement for largemouth bass were 8.9,8.7 and 9.6 g/kg based on weight gain,feed conversion ratio and vertebral phosphorus content.In conclusion,the supplementation of MCP in a diet containing 350 g/kg fish meal improved the growth and feed utilization of largemouth bass,and the digestible phosphorus requirement was suggested to be 8.7–8.9 g/kg with MCP supplementation of 15.0–15.8 g/kg. | Pu Wang Xiaoqin Li Zhen Xu Dong Ji Ming He JiangYu Dang Xiang-jun Leng | 2022 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2022,7,6: | 2 |

| 14 | Olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation for spinal cord injury An 18-year bibliometric analysis based on the Web of Science显示文摘OBJECTIVE:Olfactory ensheathing cell (OEC) transplantation is a promising new approach for the treatment of spinal cord injury (SCI),and an increasing number of scientific publications are devoted to this treatment strategy.This bibliometric analysis was conducted to assess global research trends in OEC transplantation for SCI.DATA SOURCE:All of the data in this study originate from the Web of Science maintained by the Institute for Scientific Information,USA,and includes SCI-EXPANDED,SSCI,A&HCI,CPCI-S,CPCI-SSH,BKCI-S,BKCI-SSH,CCR-EXPANDED and IC.The Institute for Scientific Information's Web of Science was searched using the keywords 'olfactory ensheathing cells' or 'OECs' or 'olfactory ensheathing glia' or 'OEG' or 'olfactory ensheathing glial cells' or 'OEGs' and 'spinal cord injury' or 'SCI' or 'spinal injury' or 'spinal transection' for literature published from January 1898 to May 2012.DATA SELECTION:Original articles,reviews,proceedings papers and meeting abstracts,book chapters and editorial materials on OEC transplantation for SCI were included.Simultaneously,unpublished literature and literature for which manual information retrieval was required were excluded.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:All selected literatures addressing OEC transplantation for SCI were evaluated in the following aspects:publication year,document type,language,author,institution,times cited,Web of Science category,core source title,countries/territories and funding agency.RESULTS:In the Web of Science published by the Institute for Scientific Information,the earliest literature record was in April,1995.Four hundred and fourteen publications addressing OEC transplantation for SCI were added to the data library in the past 18 years,with an annually increasing trend.Of 415 records,405 publications were in English.Two hundred and fifty-nine articles ranked first in the distribution of document type,followed by 141 reviews.Thirty articles and 20 reviews,cited more than 55 times by the date the publication data were downloaded by us,can be regarded as the most classical references.The journal Experimental Neurology published the most literature (32 records),followed by Glia.The United States had the most literature,followed by China.In addition,Yale University was the most productive institution in the world,while The Second Military Medical University contributed the most in China.The journal Experimental Neurology published the most OEC transplantation literature in the United States,while Neural Regeneration Research published the most in China.CONCLUSION:This analysis provides insight into the current state and trends in OEC transplantation for SCI research.Furthermore,we anticipate that this analysis will help encourage international cooperation and teamwork on OEC transplantation for SCI to facilitate the development of more effective treatments for SCI. | Zikuan Leng Xijing He Haopeng Li Dong Wang Kai Cao | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,14: | 2 |
