| 1 | Neuroprotective effect of ethyl acetate extract from gastrodia elata against transient focal cerebral ischemia in rats induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effect of neuroprotection against transient focal cerebral ischemia of the extract from Tianma(Rhizoma Gastrodiae) and the possible mechanisms underlying the action.METHODS: Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury was induced through middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO). Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups: sham-operated,ischemia-reperfusion model, 102.6 mg/kg extract treated and 11.4 mg/kg extract treated groups. The extract was prepared from gastrodia elata with ethyl acetate. The effect of the extract tested on rat neurological de fi cits and Cerebral index, cerebral infarct volume, brain injury, terminal dexynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) and B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2) positive cells.RESULTS: The extract was able to reduce neurological scores, cerebral index and cerebral infarction rate. The brain injury was also relieved by the extract. | 5 | Two-in-one shell configuration for bimetal selenides toward fast sodium storage within broadened voltage windows显示文摘The shell structure design has been recognized as a highly efficient strategy to buffer the severe volume expansion and consecutive pulverization of conversion-type anodes.Nevertheless,construction of a functional shell with a stabilized structure that meets the demands of both high electronic conductivity and feasible pathways for Na^(+)ions has been a challenge so far.Herein,we design a two-in-one shell configuration for bimetal selenides to achieve fast sodium storage within broadened voltage windows.The hybridized shell,which benefits from the combination of titanium dioxide quantum dots and amorphous carbon,can not only effectively buffer the strain and maintain structural integrity but also allow facile and reversible transport of electrons and Na^(+)uptake for electrode materials during sodiation/desodiation processes,resulting in increased reaction kinetics and diffusion of sodium ions,conferring many benefits to the functionality of conversion-type electrode materials.As a representative material,Ni-CoSe_(2) with such structural engineering shows a reversible capacity of 515 mAh g^(−1)at 0.1 A g^(−1)and a stable capacity of 416 mAh g^(−1)even at 6.4 A g^(−1);more than 80%of the capacity at 0.1 A g^(−1)could be preserved,so that this strategy holds great promise for designing fast-charging conversion-type anodes in the future. | Zichao Yan Lingfei Zhao Yaru Liang Lei Zhang Hanwen Liu Zhiqiang Zhu Yunxiao Wang Shu-Lei Chou | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,4: | 1 |
| 6 | Cytological and genetic analyses of a wheat-rye 2RL ditelosomic addition line with adult plant resistance to powdery mildew显示文摘Rye(Secale cereale genome RR),a close relative of common wheat,possesses valuable resistance genes for wheat improvement.Due to the co-evolution of pathogen virulence and host resistance,some resistance genes derived from rye have lost effectiveness.Development and identification of new,effective resistance genes from rye is thus required.In the current study,wheat-rye line WR56 was produced through distant hybridization,embryo rescue culture,chromosome doubling and backcrossing.WR56 was then proved to be a wheat-rye 2 RL ditelosomic addition line using GISH(genomic in situ hybridization),mc-FISH(multicolor fluorescence in situ hybridization),ND-FISH(non-denaturing FISH),mc-GISH(multicolor GISH)and rye chromosome arm-specific marker analysis.WR56 exhibited a high level of adult plant resistance to powdery mildew caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp.tritici(Bgt).This resistance was carried by the added 2 RL telosomes and presumed to be different from Pm7 which is also located on chromosome arm 2 RL but confers resistance at the seedling and adult stages.WR56 will be a promising bridging parent for transfer of the resistance to a more stable wheat breeding line.A newly developed2 RL-specific KASP(kompetitive allele specific PCR)marker should expedite that work. | Diaoguo An Guohao Han Jing Wang Hanwen Yan Yilin Zhou Lijun Cao Yuli Jin Xiaotian Zhang | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,3: | 1 |
| 7 | The role of endothelial biomarkers in predicting damp-heat syndrome in diabetic kidney disease显示文摘Objective:To explore the role of endothelial biomarkers in predicting damp-heat syndrome in diabetic kidney disease(DKD).Methods:A total of 183 patients with DKD were divided into 3 groups:the early DKD group,established DKD group,and advanced DKD group.All patients were classified according to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome type,and clinical indexes were collected for statistical analysis.Results:A total of 183 DKD patients were included in this study.Fibroblast growth factor 23(FGF23),chitinase-3-like protein 1(CHI3L1),endocan,tumor necrosis factor receptor 1(TNFR1),secretory leukocyte protease inhibitor(SLPI),and vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A)were increased in advanced DKD.FGF23,CHI3L1,endocan,SLPI,and TNFR1 showed a negative correlation with estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),while they had a positive correlation with 24 h urine protein.After adjusting for age,gender,diabetes duration,body mass index(BMI),hemoglobin,glucose,uric acid,24 h urine protein,cholesterol,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein,and hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),the multiple regression analysis showed that FGF23,endocan,TNFR1,and SLPI significantly correlated with eGFR.Conclusions:FGF23,endocan,TNFR1,and SLPI are elevated in advanced DKD compared with early stage,and they may take part in the pathogenesis and progression of DKD.Our study provides useful biomarkers for predicting the appearance of damp-heat syndrome,including FGF23,endocan,TNFR1,and SLPI. | Zhenjie Chen Kai Yuan Runze Yan Hanwen Yang Xiaona Wang Yi Wang Shuwu Wei Weijun Huang Weiwei Sun | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2022,9,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Research on mechanical stability for third-generation light source显示文摘The mechanical stability, a key problem for the 3rd synchrotron light source, is essential for the electron beam performance. This paper analyzes the influences of the first eigenfrequency and Q value on the mechanical stability. Then the research on the improvement of the mechanical stability for the magnet girder assemblies (MGAs) and the dipole concrete assemblies (DCAs), both of which are the main parts of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Faculty (SSRF), is performed. The measurement result shows that the mechanical stability is improved obviously for the MGAs by using the auxiliary supports and for the DCAs by using polymer-modification concrete instead of common concrete. | 10 | Natural Disasters Warning for Enterprises Through Fuzzy Keywords Search显示文摘With the ever-increasing number of natural disasters warning documents in document databases, the document database is becoming an economic and efficient way for enterprise staffs to learn and understand the contents of the natural disasters warning through searching for necessary text documents. Generally, the document database can recommend a mass of documents to the enterprise staffs through analyzing the enterprise staff's precisely typed keywords. In fact, these recommended documents place a heavy burden on the enterprise staffs to learn and select as the enterprise staffs have little background knowledge about the contents of the natural disasters warning. Thus, the enterprise staffs fail to retrieve and select appropriate documents to achieve their desired goals.Considering the above drawbacks, in this paper, we propose a fuzzy keywords-driven Natural Disasters Warning Documents retrieval approach(named NDWDkeyword). Through the text description mining of documents and the fuzzy keywords searching technology, the retrieval approach can precisely capture the enterprise staffs' target requirements and then return necessary documents to the enterprise staffs. | 11 | MEIC-global-CO_(2):A new global CO_(2)emission inventory with highly-resolved source category and sub-country information显示文摘CO_(2)emission inventory provides fundamental data for climate research and emission mitigation.Currently,most global CO_(2)emission inventories were developed with energy statistics from International Energy Agency(IEA)and were available at country level with limited source categories.Here,as the first step toward a high-resolution and dynamic updated global CO_(2)emission database,we developed a data-driven approach to construct seamless and highly-resolved energy consumption data cubes for 208 countries/territories,797 sub-country administrative divisions in 29 countries,42 fuel types,and 52 sectors,with the fusion of activity data from 24 international statistics and 65 regional/local statistics.Global CO_(2)emissions from fossil fuel combustion and cement production in 1970–2021 were then estimated with highly-resolved source category(1,484 of total)and sub-country information(797 of total).Specifically,73%of global CO_(2)emissions in 2021 were estimated with sub-country information,providing considerably improved spatial resolution for global CO_(2)emission accounting.With the support of detailed information,the dynamics of global CO_(2)emissions across sectors and fuel types were presented,representing the evolution of global economy and progress of climate mitigation.Remarkable differences of sectoral contribution were found across sub-country administrative divisions within a given country,revealing the uneven distribution of energy and economic structure among different regions.Our estimates were generally consistent with existing databases at aggregated level for global total or large emitters,while large discrepancies were observed for middle and small emitters.Our database,named the Multiresolution Emission Inventory model for Climate and air pollution research(MEIC)is publicly available through http://gffzz6c575fb1d0a54d36hfwwwfqc0u0ku6ku0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn with highly-resolved information and timely update,which provides an independent carbon emission accounting data source for climate research. | Ruochong XU Dan TONG Qingyang XIAO Xinying QIN Cuihong CHEN Liu YAN Jing CHENG Can CUI Hanwen HU Wenyu LIU Xizhe YAN Huaxuan WANG Xiaodong LIU Guannan GENG Yu LEI Dabo GUAN Kebin HE Qiang ZHANG | 2024 | Science China Earth Sciences2024,67,2: | 0 |
| 12 | Development and identification of two novel wheat-rye 6R derivative lines with adult-plant resistance to powdery mildew and high-yielding potential显示文摘Powdery mildew,caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp.tritici(Bgt),is a devastating disease that seriously threatens wheat yield and quality.To control this disease,host resistance is the most effective measure.Compared with the resistance genes from common wheat,alien resistance genes can better withstand infection of this highly variable pathogen.Development of elite alien germplasm resources with powdery mildew resistance and other key breeding traits is an attractive strategy in wheat breeding.In this study,three wheat-rye germplasm lines YT4-1,YT4-2,and YT4-3 were developed through hybridization between octoploid triticale and common wheat,out of which the lines YT4-1 and YT4-2 conferred adult-plant resistance(APR)to powdery mildew while the line YT4-3 was susceptible to powdery mildew during all of its growth stages.Using genomic in situ hybridization,multi-color fluorescence in situ hybridization,multi-color GISH,and molecular marker analysis,YT4-1,YT4-2,and YT4-3 were shown to be cytogenetically stable wheat-rye 6R addition and T1RS.1BL translocation line,6RL ditelosomic addition and T1RS.1BL translocation line,and T1RS.1BL translocation line,respectively.Compared with previously reported wheat-rye derivative lines carrying chromosome 6R,YT4-1 and YT4-2 showed stable APR without undesirable pleiotropic effects on agronomic traits.Therefore,these novel wheat-rye 6R derivative lines are expected to be promising bridge resources in wheat disease breeding. | Guohao Han Jing Wang Hanwen Yan Tiantian Gu Lijun Cao Shiyu Liu Xiuquan Li Yilin Zhou Jieru Fan Zhipeng Shi Hong Liu Lihui Li Diaoguo An | 2024 | The Crop Journal2024,12,1: | 0 |
